पश्चिम बंगाल में विधानसभा चुनाव की तारीखों का ऐलान हो गया है। चुनाव दो चरणों में होंगे। पहला 23 अप्रैल और दूसरा 29 अप्रैल, नतीजे 4 मई को घोषित किए जाएंगे। विधानसभा चुनाव की घोषणा के बाद पश्चिम बंगाल में बड़ा प्रशासनिक फेरबदल किया गया है।

सिद्धनाथ गुप्ता राज्य के नए डीजीपी
पश्चिम बंगाल के डीजीपी, एडीजी (लॉ एंड ऑर्डर) कोलकाता पुलिस कमिश्नर, आईजीपी समेत कई अफसरों का तबादला किया है। सिद्धनाथ गुप्ता राज्य के नए डीजीपी बनाए गए हैं। अजय नंद को कोलकाता पुलिस कमिश्नर का दियात्व सौंपा गया है। चुनाव आयोग ने 27 पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर्स के ट्रांसफर भी किए हैं।

मुख्य सचिव और गृह सचिव हटाए गए
चुनाव शेड्यूल की घोषणा के बाद मुख्य सचिव और गृह सचिव हटाए जा चुके हैं। चुनाव आयोग ने पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्य सचिव नंदिनी चक्रवर्ती और राज्य के गृह सचिव जगदीश प्रसाद मीणा के तबादलों का आदेश दिया। यह भी आदेश दिया कि दोनों किसी भी प्रकार के चुनाव संबंधी कार्य में शामिल नहीं होंगे। अब दुष्यंत नारियावाला राज्य के नए मुख्य सचिव होंगे और संघमित्रा घोष को नया गृह सचिव बनाया गया है।

चुनावी माहौल के बीच प्रशासनिक बदलाव की अहमियत
माना जा रहा है कि विधानसभा चुनाव के मद्देनजर कानून-व्यवस्था को मजबूत रखने के लिए यह प्रशासनिक बदलाव किए गए हैं। राज्य में चुनावी माहौल के बीच सरकार और प्रशासन दोनों सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर सतर्क नजर आ रहे हैं। चुनाव आयोग ने पश्चिम बंगाल मुख्य सचिव को इस आदेश का पालन आज दोपहर 3 बजे तक करने आदेश दिया है। चुनाव आयोग ने अपने आदेश में ये भी कहा गया है कि जिन पुलिस अधिकारियों का तबादला हुआ है उन्हें चुनाव से जुड़ी हुई कोई भी जिम्मेदारी नहीं दी जाएगी।

चुनाव तारीख ऐलान से पहले ममता बनर्जी के किए गए ट्रांसफर रोके
पश्चिम बंगाल में कई अधिकारियों और पुलिस अधिकारियों के तबादले पर रोक लग गई है। इन तबादलों का आदेश रविवार दोपहर को भारत निर्वाचन आयोग (ईसीआई) की ओर से राज्य में दो चरणों में होने वाले मतदान की तारीखों की घोषणा किए जाने से ठीक एक घंटे पहले दिया गया था। चुनाव की घोषणा के बाद से ही राज्य में आदर्श आचार संहिता (एमसीसी) लागू हो गई है, जिसके चलते पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ईसीआई की अनुमति के बिना कोई भी प्रशासनिक निर्णय नहीं ले सकती।

अमेरिका, इजरायल और ईरान के बीच बढ़ते संघर्ष के कारण मध्य पूर्व के अधिकांश हवाई क्षेत्र बंद या प्रतिबंधित हैं। ऐसे में मिडिल ईस्ट के देशों में हजारों भारतीय फंसे हुए हैं। यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए आज कुल 58 उड़ानें संचालित करने का फैसला लिया गया है। इनमें नियमित और अतिरिक्त विशेष उड़ानें शामिल हैं। जेद्दा, मस्कट और संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के लिए उड़ानें चलाई जाएंगी। 

आज कुल 58 उड़ानें होगी संचालित
एयर इंडिया और इंडिगो एयरलाइंस आज से दुबई, अबू धाबी और शारजाह सहित मिडिल ईस्ट के कई देशों से आने-जाने के लिए स्पेशल फ्लाइट्स का संचालन शुरू किया है। नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय ने बताया कि कुल 58 उड़ानें संचालित करने की योजना है, जिनमें 30 उड़ानें इंडिगो और 23 उड़ानें एयर इंडिया तथा एयर इंडिया एक्सप्रेस द्वारा चलाई जाएंगी।

इन एयरपोर्ट्स पर उतरेंगी फ्लाइट्स
रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, एयर इंडिया, इंडिगो, स्पाइसजेट और आकासा एयर दुबई और फुजैराह जैसे खाड़ी शहरों से कई विशेष उड़ानें संचालित करेंगी। ये उड़ानें नई दिल्ली, मुंबई, बेंगलुरु, कोच्चि, अहमदाबाद और तिरुवनंतपुरम जैसे भारतीय हवाईअड्डों पर उतरेंगी।

9 मार्च को लाए गए थे 7,047 यात्री
इससे पहले भारत के विमानन मंत्रालय के अनुसार, 9 मार्च को पश्चिम एशिया से भारतीय एयरलाइंस कंपनियों ने 45 उड़ानें संचालित कीं, जिनमें 7,047 यात्री आए थे। नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री राममोहन नायडू लगातार स्थिति पर नजर रख रहे हैं और तेज व समन्वित प्रतिक्रिया सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी संबंधित हितधारकों के साथ सीधे जुड़ाव बनाए हुए हैं।

लखनऊ। उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की सुरक्षित हवाई यात्रा के लिए नया अत्याधुनिक हेलीकॉप्टर सेवा में शामिल कर लिया है। इटली की कंपनी Leonardo S.p.A. द्वारा निर्मित AgustaWestland AW139 हेलीकॉप्टर अब सरकारी उपयोग में आ गया है।
  
करीब 100 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक कीमत वाला यह डबल इंजन हेलीकॉप्टर दुनिया के सुरक्षित वीवीआईपी हेलीकॉप्टरों में माना जाता है। इसका उपयोग मुख्यमंत्री और अन्य वीवीआईपी मूवमेंट के लिए किया जाएगा।
  
यह हेलीकॉप्टर खराब मौसम और रात के समय भी सुरक्षित उड़ान भरने में सक्षम है। इसमें उन्नत एवियोनिक्स सिस्टम, क्रैश-सेफ्टी तकनीक और बुलेटप्रूफ सुरक्षा जैसी आधुनिक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हैं, जिससे वीवीआईपी यात्रा और अधिक सुरक्षित हो सकेगी।
  
AW139 हेलीकॉप्टर एक बार में लगभग 12 से 15 लोगों को ले जाने की क्षमता रखता है। इसकी तेज रफ्तार, आधुनिक नेविगेशन सिस्टम और उच्च सुरक्षा मानकों के कारण इसे अपने वर्ग के सबसे भरोसेमंद हेलीकॉप्टरों में गिना जाता है।
 

From Helping the Homeless to Inspiring a Community: The Story Behind Parramatta’s Citizen of the Year


On any given week in Western Sydney, it is not unusual to see volunteers handing out groceries, food and essential supplies to people doing it tough. At the heart of many of these efforts is community advocate Moses Vedamuthu, whose quiet dedication to helping others has now earned him the title of City of Parramatta’s Citizen of the Year.Presented during the city’s Australia Day celebrations at Parramatta Town Hall, the honour recognises Vedamuthu’s years of service supporting vulnerable members of the community through the organisation he founded, SOHAS Charity (Support Organisation for Homeless and Asylum Seekers).
What began as a simple mission to help those struggling has grown into a wide-reaching community initiative. Over the past six years, SOHAS has been delivering weekly food and grocery support to elders, homeless individuals, refugees, survivors of domestic violence, single parents and international students across six local government areas in Western Sydney, including Parramatta. The organisation has recently extended its work to communities in the Hunter Region, broadening its reach to help even more people in need.
But for Vedamuthu, providing food relief is only one part of the mission. His work has increasingly focused on creating opportunities that allow people to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.
Through SOHAS initiatives, more than 30 students have received access to free Diploma education, while migrants and refugees have been supported with resume preparation, job training and employment guidance. These efforts have already helped 28 individuals secure jobs, giving them a pathway toward stability and a fresh start.
The charity also plays an active role in raising awareness about homelessness. During National Homelessness Week, Vedamuthu and his volunteers distributed over 100 blankets and sleeping bags to people sleeping rough, offering warmth and comfort during the colder months.
Despite the recognition, Vedamuthu remains focused on the purpose behind his work.
“This is an honour that fills me with pride and purpose,” he said. “I believe being a good citizen means taking responsibility for the wellbeing of our community. Even small acts of kindness can create meaningful change in someone’s life.”
Looking ahead, Vedamuthu hopes to establish a SOHAS Community Hub, which would provide free IT and digital skills training for First Nations students, creating new pathways to education and long-term empowerment.
His efforts have already been acknowledged with several honours, including the NSW Volunteer Team of the Year Award and the Australia Day Community Group Award, reflecting the growing recognition of SOHAS’s impact across New South Wales.
For many who have received support through the organisation, Vedamuthu’s work represents more than charity—it represents compassion, opportunity and hope.
And while the Citizen of the Year award celebrates one individual, Vedamuthu believes the recognition belongs to the volunteers and supporters who share the same belief: that communities grow stronger when people look out for one another.

The members of the royal Harakutir Ray-banerjee family of Pathuriaghata, Kolkata, West Bengal, meanwhile just celebrated their Holika Dahan and Holi at their premises in a vibrant, unique and joyous affair, reflecting the spirit of India's Festival of Colors. 
Harakutir’s iconic Holi festivities began this monday, with the traditional Holika Dahan ceremony, where a 15 feet tall effigy, made of of hay and wood was set up on fire in a bonfire to symbolize the victory of good over evil. The event was marked by prayers, chanting, and the offering of cimar (puffs of burning cow dung) to ward off evil spirits. The tradition comes from a story in the Bhagavata Purana about the demon king Hiranyakashipu. He wanted everyone to worship him instead of Vishnu. However, his son Prahlada remained a devoted follower of Vishnu. Angry with his son, Hiranyakashipu asked his sister Holika, who had a boon that protected her from fire, to sit in a burning pyre with Prahlada on her lap. But due to divine protection, Prahlada survived while Holika was burned to ashes.
 
The next day, Harakutir came alive with the sounds of laughter and music as people gathered to celebrate Rangwali Holi. The air was filled with the sweet scent of colors, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement. Their celebration featured traditional Thandai, , a spiced milk drink, and gujiya, a sweet pastry filled with khoya and nuts alongside other Bengali sweets. The evening was filled with soul-stirring performances, including traditional dance and music for their Kuldevta Sree Sree Sridhar Narayan Jew, which ages to 1692 and has been worshipped by eminent saints like Ramakrishna Parhamhans Deb, Shri Shri Mohanananda Brahmachari, Sadhak Bamakhepa and Trailanga Swami to name a few. The deity alongside others was placed in a all silver throne or “jhula” in their adi thakurghar or place of worship.
Harakutir, a 333-year-old heritage house in Kolkata, is a treasure trove of Bengali culture and tradition. This iconic mansion has been hosting several events like: Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Shivratri and Holi celebrations for the past 333 years, making it one of the oldest and most revered puja venues in the city.
 The brain behind this grand celebration is Archisman Ray Banerjee, a 12th-generation family member and senior researcher at lIT Kharagpur and works of the National Crime and Investigation Agency, Government of India. Archisman, also the CEO of Brand Harakutir, is a man of many talents - a scientist, innovator, and cultural preservationist. He's pursuing his PhD in Chemical Engineering as a senior research fellow , focusing on solid-state battery technologies, and has received more than 30 prestigious awards some of them of the likes of the National Icon Award 2025 and Desh Ratna Award 2025 by the Government of India.

  मुंबई। महाराष्ट्र और गोवा बार काउंसिल चुनाव की तारीख का ऐलान होने के साथ नामांकन की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है, पूरे महाराष्ट्र और गोवा से अधिवक्ता अपना नामांकन करने के लिए अपने समर्थकों के साथ बार काउंसिल ऑफ महाराष्ट्र और गोवा के मुंबई कार्यालय में पहुंच रहे हैं। नामांकन करने की अंतिम तारीख 26 फरवरी तथा चुनाव की तारीख 24 फरवरी है । मतगणना 7 अप्रैल को होगा।

ममता सरकार के 7 अधिकारियों को चुनाव आयोग ने किया संस्पेंड, जानें क्या है वजह?

पश्चिम बंगाल में चुनाव आयोग का बड़ा एक्शन लिया है। चुनाव आयोग का ममता बनर्जी के अफसरों पर डंडा चला है। चुनाव आयोग ने पश्चिम बंगाल में 7 अधिकारियों को तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित कर दिया है। यह एक्‍शन SIR (मतदाता सूची विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण) से जुड़ा हुआ है। 

  


चुनाव आयोग ने ममता बनर्जी सरकार यानी पश्चिम बंगाल के 7 अधिकारियों को सस्पेंड कर दिया है। यह कार्रवाई एसआईआर के संबंध में गंभीर गलत काम, ड्यूटी में लापरवाही और कानूनी शक्तियों के गलत इस्तेमाल के लिए की गई है। आयोग ने जन प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1950 की धारा 13CC के तहत अपने अधिकारों का उपयोग करते हुए यह सख्त कदम उठाया है।

पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्य सचिव को खास निर्देश
इसके साथ ही पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्य सचिव को निर्देश दिया गया है कि संबंधित अधिकारियों के विरुद्ध उनके अपने कैडर द्वारा तत्काल विभागीय अनुशासनात्मक कार्यवाही शुरू की जाए। आयोग ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि इस संबंध में की गई कार्रवाई की जानकारी बिना किसी देरी के उसे उपलब्ध कराई जाए।

इन अधिकारियों पर गिरी गाज
ईसीआई ने जिन अधिकारियों को सस्पेंड किया गया है, उनके नामों की लिस्ट भी सामने आ गई है। ये नाम AERO, डॉक्टर सेफौर रहमान, एग्रीकल्चर डिपार्टमेंट के असिस्टेंट डायरेक्टर, 56-समसेरगंज असेंबली सीट, जिला मुर्शिदाबाद। नीतीश दास, रेवेन्यू ऑफिसर, फरक्का और 55-फरक्का असेंबली सीट के लिए AERO पर तैनात थे। AERO, दलिया रे चौधरी, महिला डेवलपमेंट ऑफिस, मयनागुड़ी डेवलपमेंट ब्लॉक और AERO, 16-मयनागुड़ी असेंबली सीट, एसके. मुर्शिद आलम, ADA, सुती ब्लॉक और AERO 57-सुती विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए काम करते थे। सत्यजीत दास, संयुक्त BDO और जॉयदीप कुंडू, FEO दोनों AERO 139-कैनिंग पुरबो विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए काम करते थे। देबाशीष बिस्वास, संयुक्त BDO और AERO 229-डेबरा विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए के काम करते थे।

चुनाव से पहले आयोग सख्त
पश्चिम बंगाल में आगामी चुनावी गतिविधियों को देखते हुए यह निर्णय और भी अहम माना जा रहा है। पश्चिम बंगाल में आने वाले कुछ सप्‍ताह में विधानसभा चुनाव की तिथियों का ऐलान हो सकता है। उससे पहले चुनाव आयोग का ममता बनर्जी के अफसरों पर डंडा चला है।

भारत ने दुनिया को चौंकाया: UN में ईरान का दिया साथ, पश्चिमी देशों को दिखाया आईना

यूनाइटेड नेशंस ह्यूमन राइट काउंसिल (UNHRC) में भारत की कूटनीति में बड़ा बदलाव देखा गया। UNHRC में भारत ने डंके की चोट पर ईरान का साथ दिया। भारत ने ईरान पर पश्चिमी देशों के प्रस्ताव के खिलाफ वोट डाला। भारत के साथ साथ चीन और पाकिस्तान ने भी प्रस्ताव के खिलाफ 'NO' वोट किया है। हालांकि भारत, चीन और पाकिस्तान के समर्थन के बावजूद UNHRC में ईरान के खिलाफ प्रस्ताव पास हो गया है। 

दरअसल, संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार परिषद ने शुक्रवार (23 जनवरी 2026) को ईरान में विरोध प्रदर्शनों पर हुई कार्रवाई को लेकर अपनी जांच को और गहरा करने का फैसला किया है। इसमें बच्चों सहित हजारों लोगों के मारे जाने की बात कही गई है। इस प्रस्ताव में ईरान से "क्रूर दमन" खत्म करने की मांग भी की गई है।

भारत के साथ चीन-पाकिस्तान ने भी NO में वोट किया
UNHRC में कुल 47 सदस्य देश हैं, जिन्होंने इस प्रस्ताव के जरिए ईरान में "सुरक्षा बलों द्वारा शांतिपूर्ण विरोध प्रदर्शनों पर हिंसक कार्रवाई के अभूतपूर्व पैमाने" पर चिंता जताई है। ईरान के खिलाफ लाए गये पश्चिमी देशों के प्रस्ताव के समर्थन में 25 वोट, विरोध में 7 वोट और 15 देशों ने वोटिंग से दूर रहने का फैसला किया है। भारत, चीन और पाकिस्तान ने विरोध में यानि NO में वोट किया है।

भारत आंतरिक मामलों में बाहरी हस्तक्षेप के खिलाफ
पश्चिमी देश और नाटो सदस्य जैसे अमेरिका, फ्रांस और दक्षिण कोरिया ईरान के खिलाफ थे। वे सख्त कार्रवाई चाहते थे। लेकिन भारत ने डंके की चोट पर ईरान का साथ दिया। भारत ने साफ कर दिया कि वह ईरान के आंतरिक मामलों में बाहरी हस्तक्षेप के खिलाफ है। इससे भारत की विदेश नीति की ताकत दिखी, जो संतुलित और स्वतंत्र है। पश्चिमी देशों को लगा कि वे आसानी से ईरान को अलग-थलग कर लेंगे, लेकिन भारत के वोट ने उनके प्लान पर पानी फेर दिया। भारत की तरह ही चीन ने भी ईरान का साथ दिया है।

पश्चिमी दबाव के आगे नहीं झुकता भारत
भारत की यह नीति उसके रणनीतिक हितों से जुड़ी है, जिसमें ईरान से ऊर्जा आयात, चाबहार पोर्ट जैसे प्रोजेक्ट और क्षेत्रीय संतुलन बनाए रखना शामिल है। भारत हमेशा जोर देता है कि मानवाधिकार के मुद्दों पर राजनीतिकरण नहीं होना चाहिए और देशों के आंतरिक मामलों में हस्तक्षेप से बचा जाना चाहिए। इस वोट से भारत ने अपनी स्वतंत्र विदेश नीति को दोहराया, जिसमें वह पश्चिमी दबाव के आगे नहीं झुकता और दोस्त देशों के साथ खड़ा रहता है। ईरान के साथ भारत के संबंध मजबूत हैं, और यह कदम दोनों देशों के बीच विश्वास को और मजबूत करता है।

दिल्ली-एनसीआर समेत उत्तर भारत के कई हिस्सों में घने कोहरे से राहत मिल गई है।बीते कुछ दिनों से धूप खिल रही है और दिन के समय हल्की गर्मी महसूस हो रही है। जिससे लोगों ने हाड़ कंपाने वाली सर्दी से राहत की सांस ली है। हालांकि, मौसम का मिजाज एक बार फिर बिगड़ने वाला है। 

पश्चिमी विक्षोभ सक्रिय हुआ
भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग के अनुसार 19 जनवरी से एक नया पश्चिमी विक्षोभ सक्रिय होगा, जिसके चलते दिल्ली, यूपी, बिहार सहित कई राज्यों में बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। पहाड़ों पर भारी हिमपात और मैदानी इलाकों में ओलावृष्टि के साथ बारिश की चेतावनी जारी की गई है. पश्चिमी हिमालयी क्षेत्रों में 22 और 23 जनवरी को भारी बर्फबारी और बारिश की संभावना को देखते हुए प्रशासन ने ‘ऑरेंज अलर्ट’ जारी किया है।

10 राज्यों में भारी बारिश की चेतावनी
मौसम विभाग ने अगले 24 घंटे में देश के 10 राज्यों में भारी बारिश और तेज हवा की चेतावनी जारी कर दी है। इस बारिश के बाद 2 से 3 दिन तक कड़ाके की ठंड पड़ेगी। इसके अलावा उत्तर भारत के 26 जिलों में घने कोहरे मुश्किलें बढ़ाने वाली हैं।

इन राज्यों में तेज आंधी और बारिश के आसार
आएमडी के अनुसार 22 से 24 जनवरी को उत्तर प्रदेश, पंजाब, हरियाणा, दिल्ली, हिमाचल, उत्तराखंड, पश्चिमी राजस्थान, पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश और पूर्वी राजस्थान और 24 जनवरी को पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश में बिजली कड़कने और तेज हवाओं (30-50 किमी प्रति घंटा की गति) के साथ गरज के साथ बारिश होने की संभावना है। 21 जनवरी को जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख में कहीं-कहीं हल्की से मध्यम बारिश तो 22-26 जनवरी के दौरान पश्चिमी हिमालयी क्षेत्र में भारी बारिश-बर्फबारी होने की संभावना है।

पश्चिम बंगाल में विधानसभा चुनाव की तारीखों का ऐलान हो गया है। चुनाव दो चरणों में होंगे। पहला 23 अप्रैल और दूसरा 29 अप्रैल, नतीजे 4 मई को घोषित किए जाएंगे। विधानसभा चुनाव की घोषणा के बाद पश्चिम बंगाल में बड़ा प्रशासनिक फेरबदल किया गया है।

सिद्धनाथ गुप्ता राज्य के नए डीजीपी
पश्चिम बंगाल के डीजीपी, एडीजी (लॉ एंड ऑर्डर) कोलकाता पुलिस कमिश्नर, आईजीपी समेत कई अफसरों का तबादला किया है। सिद्धनाथ गुप्ता राज्य के नए डीजीपी बनाए गए हैं। अजय नंद को कोलकाता पुलिस कमिश्नर का दियात्व सौंपा गया है। चुनाव आयोग ने 27 पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर्स के ट्रांसफर भी किए हैं।

मुख्य सचिव और गृह सचिव हटाए गए
चुनाव शेड्यूल की घोषणा के बाद मुख्य सचिव और गृह सचिव हटाए जा चुके हैं। चुनाव आयोग ने पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्य सचिव नंदिनी चक्रवर्ती और राज्य के गृह सचिव जगदीश प्रसाद मीणा के तबादलों का आदेश दिया। यह भी आदेश दिया कि दोनों किसी भी प्रकार के चुनाव संबंधी कार्य में शामिल नहीं होंगे। अब दुष्यंत नारियावाला राज्य के नए मुख्य सचिव होंगे और संघमित्रा घोष को नया गृह सचिव बनाया गया है।

चुनावी माहौल के बीच प्रशासनिक बदलाव की अहमियत
माना जा रहा है कि विधानसभा चुनाव के मद्देनजर कानून-व्यवस्था को मजबूत रखने के लिए यह प्रशासनिक बदलाव किए गए हैं। राज्य में चुनावी माहौल के बीच सरकार और प्रशासन दोनों सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर सतर्क नजर आ रहे हैं। चुनाव आयोग ने पश्चिम बंगाल मुख्य सचिव को इस आदेश का पालन आज दोपहर 3 बजे तक करने आदेश दिया है। चुनाव आयोग ने अपने आदेश में ये भी कहा गया है कि जिन पुलिस अधिकारियों का तबादला हुआ है उन्हें चुनाव से जुड़ी हुई कोई भी जिम्मेदारी नहीं दी जाएगी।

चुनाव तारीख ऐलान से पहले ममता बनर्जी के किए गए ट्रांसफर रोके
पश्चिम बंगाल में कई अधिकारियों और पुलिस अधिकारियों के तबादले पर रोक लग गई है। इन तबादलों का आदेश रविवार दोपहर को भारत निर्वाचन आयोग (ईसीआई) की ओर से राज्य में दो चरणों में होने वाले मतदान की तारीखों की घोषणा किए जाने से ठीक एक घंटे पहले दिया गया था। चुनाव की घोषणा के बाद से ही राज्य में आदर्श आचार संहिता (एमसीसी) लागू हो गई है, जिसके चलते पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ईसीआई की अनुमति के बिना कोई भी प्रशासनिक निर्णय नहीं ले सकती।

अमेरिका, इजरायल और ईरान के बीच बढ़ते संघर्ष के कारण मध्य पूर्व के अधिकांश हवाई क्षेत्र बंद या प्रतिबंधित हैं। ऐसे में मिडिल ईस्ट के देशों में हजारों भारतीय फंसे हुए हैं। यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए आज कुल 58 उड़ानें संचालित करने का फैसला लिया गया है। इनमें नियमित और अतिरिक्त विशेष उड़ानें शामिल हैं। जेद्दा, मस्कट और संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के लिए उड़ानें चलाई जाएंगी। 

आज कुल 58 उड़ानें होगी संचालित
एयर इंडिया और इंडिगो एयरलाइंस आज से दुबई, अबू धाबी और शारजाह सहित मिडिल ईस्ट के कई देशों से आने-जाने के लिए स्पेशल फ्लाइट्स का संचालन शुरू किया है। नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय ने बताया कि कुल 58 उड़ानें संचालित करने की योजना है, जिनमें 30 उड़ानें इंडिगो और 23 उड़ानें एयर इंडिया तथा एयर इंडिया एक्सप्रेस द्वारा चलाई जाएंगी।

इन एयरपोर्ट्स पर उतरेंगी फ्लाइट्स
रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, एयर इंडिया, इंडिगो, स्पाइसजेट और आकासा एयर दुबई और फुजैराह जैसे खाड़ी शहरों से कई विशेष उड़ानें संचालित करेंगी। ये उड़ानें नई दिल्ली, मुंबई, बेंगलुरु, कोच्चि, अहमदाबाद और तिरुवनंतपुरम जैसे भारतीय हवाईअड्डों पर उतरेंगी।

9 मार्च को लाए गए थे 7,047 यात्री
इससे पहले भारत के विमानन मंत्रालय के अनुसार, 9 मार्च को पश्चिम एशिया से भारतीय एयरलाइंस कंपनियों ने 45 उड़ानें संचालित कीं, जिनमें 7,047 यात्री आए थे। नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री राममोहन नायडू लगातार स्थिति पर नजर रख रहे हैं और तेज व समन्वित प्रतिक्रिया सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी संबंधित हितधारकों के साथ सीधे जुड़ाव बनाए हुए हैं।

लखनऊ। उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की सुरक्षित हवाई यात्रा के लिए नया अत्याधुनिक हेलीकॉप्टर सेवा में शामिल कर लिया है। इटली की कंपनी Leonardo S.p.A. द्वारा निर्मित AgustaWestland AW139 हेलीकॉप्टर अब सरकारी उपयोग में आ गया है।
  
करीब 100 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक कीमत वाला यह डबल इंजन हेलीकॉप्टर दुनिया के सुरक्षित वीवीआईपी हेलीकॉप्टरों में माना जाता है। इसका उपयोग मुख्यमंत्री और अन्य वीवीआईपी मूवमेंट के लिए किया जाएगा।
  
यह हेलीकॉप्टर खराब मौसम और रात के समय भी सुरक्षित उड़ान भरने में सक्षम है। इसमें उन्नत एवियोनिक्स सिस्टम, क्रैश-सेफ्टी तकनीक और बुलेटप्रूफ सुरक्षा जैसी आधुनिक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हैं, जिससे वीवीआईपी यात्रा और अधिक सुरक्षित हो सकेगी।
  
AW139 हेलीकॉप्टर एक बार में लगभग 12 से 15 लोगों को ले जाने की क्षमता रखता है। इसकी तेज रफ्तार, आधुनिक नेविगेशन सिस्टम और उच्च सुरक्षा मानकों के कारण इसे अपने वर्ग के सबसे भरोसेमंद हेलीकॉप्टरों में गिना जाता है।
 

From Helping the Homeless to Inspiring a Community: The Story Behind Parramatta’s Citizen of the Year


On any given week in Western Sydney, it is not unusual to see volunteers handing out groceries, food and essential supplies to people doing it tough. At the heart of many of these efforts is community advocate Moses Vedamuthu, whose quiet dedication to helping others has now earned him the title of City of Parramatta’s Citizen of the Year.Presented during the city’s Australia Day celebrations at Parramatta Town Hall, the honour recognises Vedamuthu’s years of service supporting vulnerable members of the community through the organisation he founded, SOHAS Charity (Support Organisation for Homeless and Asylum Seekers).
What began as a simple mission to help those struggling has grown into a wide-reaching community initiative. Over the past six years, SOHAS has been delivering weekly food and grocery support to elders, homeless individuals, refugees, survivors of domestic violence, single parents and international students across six local government areas in Western Sydney, including Parramatta. The organisation has recently extended its work to communities in the Hunter Region, broadening its reach to help even more people in need.
But for Vedamuthu, providing food relief is only one part of the mission. His work has increasingly focused on creating opportunities that allow people to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.
Through SOHAS initiatives, more than 30 students have received access to free Diploma education, while migrants and refugees have been supported with resume preparation, job training and employment guidance. These efforts have already helped 28 individuals secure jobs, giving them a pathway toward stability and a fresh start.
The charity also plays an active role in raising awareness about homelessness. During National Homelessness Week, Vedamuthu and his volunteers distributed over 100 blankets and sleeping bags to people sleeping rough, offering warmth and comfort during the colder months.
Despite the recognition, Vedamuthu remains focused on the purpose behind his work.
“This is an honour that fills me with pride and purpose,” he said. “I believe being a good citizen means taking responsibility for the wellbeing of our community. Even small acts of kindness can create meaningful change in someone’s life.”
Looking ahead, Vedamuthu hopes to establish a SOHAS Community Hub, which would provide free IT and digital skills training for First Nations students, creating new pathways to education and long-term empowerment.
His efforts have already been acknowledged with several honours, including the NSW Volunteer Team of the Year Award and the Australia Day Community Group Award, reflecting the growing recognition of SOHAS’s impact across New South Wales.
For many who have received support through the organisation, Vedamuthu’s work represents more than charity—it represents compassion, opportunity and hope.
And while the Citizen of the Year award celebrates one individual, Vedamuthu believes the recognition belongs to the volunteers and supporters who share the same belief: that communities grow stronger when people look out for one another.

The members of the royal Harakutir Ray-banerjee family of Pathuriaghata, Kolkata, West Bengal, meanwhile just celebrated their Holika Dahan and Holi at their premises in a vibrant, unique and joyous affair, reflecting the spirit of India's Festival of Colors. 
Harakutir’s iconic Holi festivities began this monday, with the traditional Holika Dahan ceremony, where a 15 feet tall effigy, made of of hay and wood was set up on fire in a bonfire to symbolize the victory of good over evil. The event was marked by prayers, chanting, and the offering of cimar (puffs of burning cow dung) to ward off evil spirits. The tradition comes from a story in the Bhagavata Purana about the demon king Hiranyakashipu. He wanted everyone to worship him instead of Vishnu. However, his son Prahlada remained a devoted follower of Vishnu. Angry with his son, Hiranyakashipu asked his sister Holika, who had a boon that protected her from fire, to sit in a burning pyre with Prahlada on her lap. But due to divine protection, Prahlada survived while Holika was burned to ashes.
 
The next day, Harakutir came alive with the sounds of laughter and music as people gathered to celebrate Rangwali Holi. The air was filled with the sweet scent of colors, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement. Their celebration featured traditional Thandai, , a spiced milk drink, and gujiya, a sweet pastry filled with khoya and nuts alongside other Bengali sweets. The evening was filled with soul-stirring performances, including traditional dance and music for their Kuldevta Sree Sree Sridhar Narayan Jew, which ages to 1692 and has been worshipped by eminent saints like Ramakrishna Parhamhans Deb, Shri Shri Mohanananda Brahmachari, Sadhak Bamakhepa and Trailanga Swami to name a few. The deity alongside others was placed in a all silver throne or “jhula” in their adi thakurghar or place of worship.
Harakutir, a 333-year-old heritage house in Kolkata, is a treasure trove of Bengali culture and tradition. This iconic mansion has been hosting several events like: Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Shivratri and Holi celebrations for the past 333 years, making it one of the oldest and most revered puja venues in the city.
 The brain behind this grand celebration is Archisman Ray Banerjee, a 12th-generation family member and senior researcher at lIT Kharagpur and works of the National Crime and Investigation Agency, Government of India. Archisman, also the CEO of Brand Harakutir, is a man of many talents - a scientist, innovator, and cultural preservationist. He's pursuing his PhD in Chemical Engineering as a senior research fellow , focusing on solid-state battery technologies, and has received more than 30 prestigious awards some of them of the likes of the National Icon Award 2025 and Desh Ratna Award 2025 by the Government of India.

  मुंबई। महाराष्ट्र और गोवा बार काउंसिल चुनाव की तारीख का ऐलान होने के साथ नामांकन की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है, पूरे महाराष्ट्र और गोवा से अधिवक्ता अपना नामांकन करने के लिए अपने समर्थकों के साथ बार काउंसिल ऑफ महाराष्ट्र और गोवा के मुंबई कार्यालय में पहुंच रहे हैं। नामांकन करने की अंतिम तारीख 26 फरवरी तथा चुनाव की तारीख 24 फरवरी है । मतगणना 7 अप्रैल को होगा।

ममता सरकार के 7 अधिकारियों को चुनाव आयोग ने किया संस्पेंड, जानें क्या है वजह?

पश्चिम बंगाल में चुनाव आयोग का बड़ा एक्शन लिया है। चुनाव आयोग का ममता बनर्जी के अफसरों पर डंडा चला है। चुनाव आयोग ने पश्चिम बंगाल में 7 अधिकारियों को तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित कर दिया है। यह एक्‍शन SIR (मतदाता सूची विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण) से जुड़ा हुआ है। 

  


चुनाव आयोग ने ममता बनर्जी सरकार यानी पश्चिम बंगाल के 7 अधिकारियों को सस्पेंड कर दिया है। यह कार्रवाई एसआईआर के संबंध में गंभीर गलत काम, ड्यूटी में लापरवाही और कानूनी शक्तियों के गलत इस्तेमाल के लिए की गई है। आयोग ने जन प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1950 की धारा 13CC के तहत अपने अधिकारों का उपयोग करते हुए यह सख्त कदम उठाया है।

पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्य सचिव को खास निर्देश
इसके साथ ही पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्य सचिव को निर्देश दिया गया है कि संबंधित अधिकारियों के विरुद्ध उनके अपने कैडर द्वारा तत्काल विभागीय अनुशासनात्मक कार्यवाही शुरू की जाए। आयोग ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि इस संबंध में की गई कार्रवाई की जानकारी बिना किसी देरी के उसे उपलब्ध कराई जाए।

इन अधिकारियों पर गिरी गाज
ईसीआई ने जिन अधिकारियों को सस्पेंड किया गया है, उनके नामों की लिस्ट भी सामने आ गई है। ये नाम AERO, डॉक्टर सेफौर रहमान, एग्रीकल्चर डिपार्टमेंट के असिस्टेंट डायरेक्टर, 56-समसेरगंज असेंबली सीट, जिला मुर्शिदाबाद। नीतीश दास, रेवेन्यू ऑफिसर, फरक्का और 55-फरक्का असेंबली सीट के लिए AERO पर तैनात थे। AERO, दलिया रे चौधरी, महिला डेवलपमेंट ऑफिस, मयनागुड़ी डेवलपमेंट ब्लॉक और AERO, 16-मयनागुड़ी असेंबली सीट, एसके. मुर्शिद आलम, ADA, सुती ब्लॉक और AERO 57-सुती विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए काम करते थे। सत्यजीत दास, संयुक्त BDO और जॉयदीप कुंडू, FEO दोनों AERO 139-कैनिंग पुरबो विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए काम करते थे। देबाशीष बिस्वास, संयुक्त BDO और AERO 229-डेबरा विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए के काम करते थे।

चुनाव से पहले आयोग सख्त
पश्चिम बंगाल में आगामी चुनावी गतिविधियों को देखते हुए यह निर्णय और भी अहम माना जा रहा है। पश्चिम बंगाल में आने वाले कुछ सप्‍ताह में विधानसभा चुनाव की तिथियों का ऐलान हो सकता है। उससे पहले चुनाव आयोग का ममता बनर्जी के अफसरों पर डंडा चला है।

यूनाइटेड नेशंस ह्यूमन राइट काउंसिल (UNHRC) में भारत की कूटनीति में बड़ा बदलाव देखा गया। UNHRC में भारत ने डंके की चोट पर ईरान का साथ दिया। भारत ने ईरान पर पश्चिमी देशों के प्रस्ताव के खिलाफ वोट डाला। भारत के साथ साथ चीन और पाकिस्तान ने भी प्रस्ताव के खिलाफ 'NO' वोट किया है। हालांकि भारत, चीन और पाकिस्तान के समर्थन के बावजूद UNHRC में ईरान के खिलाफ प्रस्ताव पास हो गया है। 

दरअसल, संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार परिषद ने शुक्रवार (23 जनवरी 2026) को ईरान में विरोध प्रदर्शनों पर हुई कार्रवाई को लेकर अपनी जांच को और गहरा करने का फैसला किया है। इसमें बच्चों सहित हजारों लोगों के मारे जाने की बात कही गई है। इस प्रस्ताव में ईरान से "क्रूर दमन" खत्म करने की मांग भी की गई है।

UNHRC में कुल 47 सदस्य देश हैं, जिन्होंने इस प्रस्ताव के जरिए ईरान में "सुरक्षा बलों द्वारा शांतिपूर्ण विरोध प्रदर्शनों पर हिंसक कार्रवाई के अभूतपूर्व पैमाने" पर चिंता जताई है। ईरान के खिलाफ लाए गये पश्चिमी देशों के प्रस्ताव के समर्थन में 25 वोट, विरोध में 7 वोट और 15 देशों ने वोटिंग से दूर रहने का फैसला किया है। भारत, चीन और पाकिस्तान ने विरोध में यानि NO में वोट किया है।

भारत आंतरिक मामलों में बाहरी हस्तक्षेप के खिलाफ
पश्चिमी देश और नाटो सदस्य जैसे अमेरिका, फ्रांस और दक्षिण कोरिया ईरान के खिलाफ थे। वे सख्त कार्रवाई चाहते थे। लेकिन भारत ने डंके की चोट पर ईरान का साथ दिया। भारत ने साफ कर दिया कि वह ईरान के आंतरिक मामलों में बाहरी हस्तक्षेप के खिलाफ है। इससे भारत की विदेश नीति की ताकत दिखी, जो संतुलित और स्वतंत्र है। पश्चिमी देशों को लगा कि वे आसानी से ईरान को अलग-थलग कर लेंगे, लेकिन भारत के वोट ने उनके प्लान पर पानी फेर दिया। भारत की तरह ही चीन ने भी ईरान का साथ दिया है।

पश्चिमी दबाव के आगे नहीं झुकता भारत
भारत की यह नीति उसके रणनीतिक हितों से जुड़ी है, जिसमें ईरान से ऊर्जा आयात, चाबहार पोर्ट जैसे प्रोजेक्ट और क्षेत्रीय संतुलन बनाए रखना शामिल है। भारत हमेशा जोर देता है कि मानवाधिकार के मुद्दों पर राजनीतिकरण नहीं होना चाहिए और देशों के आंतरिक मामलों में हस्तक्षेप से बचा जाना चाहिए। इस वोट से भारत ने अपनी स्वतंत्र विदेश नीति को दोहराया, जिसमें वह पश्चिमी दबाव के आगे नहीं झुकता और दोस्त देशों के साथ खड़ा रहता है। ईरान के साथ भारत के संबंध मजबूत हैं, और यह कदम दोनों देशों के बीच विश्वास को और मजबूत करता है।

दिल्ली-एनसीआर समेत उत्तर भारत के कई हिस्सों में घने कोहरे से राहत मिल गई है।बीते कुछ दिनों से धूप खिल रही है और दिन के समय हल्की गर्मी महसूस हो रही है। जिससे लोगों ने हाड़ कंपाने वाली सर्दी से राहत की सांस ली है। हालांकि, मौसम का मिजाज एक बार फिर बिगड़ने वाला है। 

पश्चिमी विक्षोभ सक्रिय हुआ
भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग के अनुसार 19 जनवरी से एक नया पश्चिमी विक्षोभ सक्रिय होगा, जिसके चलते दिल्ली, यूपी, बिहार सहित कई राज्यों में बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। पहाड़ों पर भारी हिमपात और मैदानी इलाकों में ओलावृष्टि के साथ बारिश की चेतावनी जारी की गई है. पश्चिमी हिमालयी क्षेत्रों में 22 और 23 जनवरी को भारी बर्फबारी और बारिश की संभावना को देखते हुए प्रशासन ने ‘ऑरेंज अलर्ट’ जारी किया है।

10 राज्यों में भारी बारिश की चेतावनी
मौसम विभाग ने अगले 24 घंटे में देश के 10 राज्यों में भारी बारिश और तेज हवा की चेतावनी जारी कर दी है। इस बारिश के बाद 2 से 3 दिन तक कड़ाके की ठंड पड़ेगी। इसके अलावा उत्तर भारत के 26 जिलों में घने कोहरे मुश्किलें बढ़ाने वाली हैं।

इन राज्यों में तेज आंधी और बारिश के आसार
आएमडी के अनुसार 22 से 24 जनवरी को उत्तर प्रदेश, पंजाब, हरियाणा, दिल्ली, हिमाचल, उत्तराखंड, पश्चिमी राजस्थान, पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश और पूर्वी राजस्थान और 24 जनवरी को पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश में बिजली कड़कने और तेज हवाओं (30-50 किमी प्रति घंटा की गति) के साथ गरज के साथ बारिश होने की संभावना है। 21 जनवरी को जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख में कहीं-कहीं हल्की से मध्यम बारिश तो 22-26 जनवरी के दौरान पश्चिमी हिमालयी क्षेत्र में भारी बारिश-बर्फबारी होने की संभावना है।
