 KKNB : Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Mohammedan SC are set to face off in the first Kolkata Derby of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season at the Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday, October 5, at 7:30 pm IST. Both these teams have garnered four points from their first three matches so far and this game will mark the end of Matchweek 4 before the international break.

 Mohun Bagan’s record against debutant clubs 

This will be the first fixture between these two sides in the ISL. The Mariners have won seven matches and drawn and lost twice each in their 11 games against teams that they are facing for the first time in the league. Will they continue that promising run against the ISL debutants for this campaign too?

 Can Mohammedan SC set an away record? 

 After their victory against Chennaiyin FC, Mohammedan SC became only the fifth team in the ISL to win their first away match. If they clinch a victory against the Mariners, Mohammedan SC will become only the second team in ISL history (after ATK in 2014) to notch wins in both of their opening away games on the road.

 Key Players & Milestones 

 Mohammedan SC’s Mirjalol Kasimov has won 11 fouls in three appearances so far. He can help the visitors pounce upon set-piece goal-scoring opportunities.

Dimitrios Petratos (49) is one short of becoming the seventh player to complete 50 ISL appearances for the Mariners.

Mohammedan SC’s Amarjit Singh recorded four blocks in his team’s previous game against Chennaiyin FC, which is the joint-most by any player in a match this season (Hijazi Maher vs FC Goa and Stephen Eze vs FC Goa).

जम्मू और कश्मीर के उधमपुर और कठुआ जिलों के जंगलों में सुरक्षाबलों और आतंकवादियों के बीच मुठभेड़ हो गई है। मुठभेड़ के दौरान सेना के जवानों ने दो आतंकियों को ढेर कर दिया है।ये दोनों आतंकी जैश-ए-मोहम्मद के टॉप कमांडर थे।इनके पास सेएक एम-4 और एक एके सीरीज की राइफल, गोला-बारूद और खाद्य सामग्री बरामद हुई है।

मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, इलाके में जैश-ए-मोहम्मद आतंकी ग्रुप के भारी हथियारों से लैस 4 आतंकवादी फंसे हुए हैं। इन्हें सुरक्षाबलों ने घेर रखा है। जानकारी मिल रही है कि सुरक्षा बलों ने इस मुठभेड़ में 2 आतंकवादियों को मार गिराया है। 

थोड़ी देर पहले डिफेंस प्रवक्ता ने मामले पर जानकारी देते हुए बताया था कि विशेष खुफिया सूचना के आधार पर कठुआ में एक संयुक्त तलाशी अभियान शुरू किया गया और कठुआ-बसंतगढ़ बॉर्डर पर आतंकवादियों को घेरा गया। पुलिस ने बताया कि इलाके की घेराबंदी कर दी गई है और दोनों तरफ से कुछ राउंड फायरिंग भी हुई थी। 

जम्मू रीजन में मौजूद आतंकियों की तलाश और खात्मे के लिए सुरक्षाबलों की टीमें अलग-अलग इलाकों लगातार ऑपरेशन चला रही हैं। इस ऑपरेशन को भारतीय सेना, सीआरपीएफ और जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस की संयुक्त टीमें अंजाम दे रही हैं। इसी कड़ी में बुधवार को खंडारा इलाके में आतंकियों की मौजूदगी का इनपुट मिलने पर सुरक्षाबलों ने इलाके की घेराबंदी शुरू की। इस दौरान आतंकियों ने खुद को घिरता देख फायरिंग की। इस पर सतर्क जवानों ने मोर्चा संभाला। कई घंटे चली इस मुठभेड़ में सुरक्षाबलों ने दो आतंकियों को मार गिराया है।

KKNB: The Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 Media Day began in Kolkata with representatives from seven clubs, i.e. Mohun Bagan Super Giant, East Bengal FC, Mohammedan SC, Odisha FC, Jamshedpur FC, Punjab FC and NorthEast United FC previewing the upcoming season.

The event saw a blend of new and familiar faces, with Mohun Bagan's Jose Molina and Punjab FC's Panagiotis Dilmperis making their ISL debuts as head coaches, while veterans like Sergio Lobera, Khalid Jamil, Juan Pedro Benali, and Carles Cuadrat discussed their strategies for the campaign.

The discussions, however, began with the newly-promoted Mohammedan SC head coach Andrey Chernyshov expressing his pleasure at joining the ISL, with his captain Samad Ali Mallick underlining their ambitions to challenge for the playoffs straightaway.

“It’s a nice feeling to be a part of the ISL family. We did a great job last year by winning the I-League. I am thrilled about our supporters. They had been expecting this for many years. I can’t wait to get started with the league,” Chernyshov said.

The two other Kolkata heavyweights are on their desired track ahead of the coming ISL campaign. Whilst the Mariners embark on the coveted title defence, East Bengal FC are bolstered by solid reinforcements to their squad in the summer.

“It’s a process to prepare the team for the ISL. We have been working together for a month and there are still a few things to improve upon. We are confident in our players and the way we have trained until now,” Jose Molina said.

East Bengal FC tactician Cuadrat overlooked comparisons from their sluggish start last year to insist confidently that his team will hit the ground running from their opening fixture this time around.

“It’s a different season with different players, and hence I wouldn’t like to compare to the last campaign, because every team is in a different situation as they were last time around. We have the complete squad with us and we will have to be competitive from day one,” Cuadrat said.

 Lobera eyes ISL title with Odisha FC 

Odisha FC, who finished fourth last season, are basking on their storied run across multiple competitions in 2023-24 to produce similarly impressive outings this year too.

“It’s been six years in India for me now. We had an amazing season last year, finishing at the top of the group in the AFC Cup. We were close to winning the Super Cup and we reached the ISL semi-finals for the first time in the club’s history. It was an amazing run and we want to replicate that this year to put a smile on the faces of the fans,” Lobera said.



 Challengers for the playoffs spots 

The trio of Punjab FC, NorthEast United, and Jamshedpur FC had ignited an exciting late challenge for the playoffs last season, falling short at the final hurdle. Since then, the Highlanders have gone from strength to strength, winning the club’s first trophy with the Durand Cup last month.

“We are now starting to realise with what we did in the Durand Cup! But, now, we look forward to the ISL and there’s another story that’s waiting for us in the coming season. Trophies in the past don’t make you play better. You are only as good as your last game,” Benali mentioned.

Jamshedpur FC’s Khalid Jamil praised the ISL for bringing in new rules, such as the introduction of the concussion substitute, mandating an AFC Pro License holding (or equivalent) Indian assistant coach, amongst others. Considering that he is one of the two Indian head coaches in the ISL along with Thangboi Singto of Hyderabad FC, Jamil said, “These new rules will help in the development of Indian football. We shall study it in detail and see how they could help us benefit during the course of the season as well.”

For Punjab FC, they have a new coach at helm in Greek tactician Panagiotis Dilmperis. The team has made some smart acquisitions in the transfer window and Dimperis expressed satisfaction at the same, whereas skipper Luka Majcen stressed upon the importance of a positive start.

“I am really lucky with all the players we have got in the Punjab FC roster. They are all great personalities and our aim is to achieve greater heights than we did last year,” Dimperis said.

इजरायली सेना एक के बाद एक हमास को 3 बड़े जख्म दिए हैं। हमास के मुखिया इस्माइल हानिया और हिजबुल्ला कमांडर फउद शुकर के खात्मे के बाद इजरायली सेना ने हमास के सैन्य प्रमुख मोहम्मद देइफ को भी मार गिराया है। इजराइल ने खुद इसकी पुष्टि की है। इजरायली रक्षा मंत्री योव गैलेंट ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा है कि गाजा के ओसामा बिन लादेन कहा जाने वाला मुहम्मद देइफ को 13 जुलाई को खत्म कर दिया गया।मोहम्मद दइफ की मौत एक एयर स्ट्राइक में हुई।

इजराइल की सेना ने गुरुवार को एक बयान जारी कर बताया कि हमास का सैन्य कमांडर मोहम्मद दइफ जुलाई में ही एक एयर स्ट्राइक हमले में मारा गया था। यह एयर स्ट्राइक गाजा के दक्षिणी इलाके खान यूनिस में की गई थी। इजराइली सेना का यह बयान हमास की राजनीतिक शाखा के प्रमुख इस्माइल हानिया की मौत के एक दिन बाद ही आया है। हानिया का बुधवार को ईरान की राजधानी तेहरान में हत्या कर दी गई थी। 

जानकारी के मुताबिक गाजा के खान यूनिस में 13 जुलाई को स्ट्राइक किया था, जिसमें देइफ की मौत आज आधिकारिक पुष्टि की गई है। इस हमले में खान यूनिस ब्रिगेड के कमांडर राफा सलामेह और उनके साथ अन्य लड़ाके भी मारे गए थे।इजरायल का आरोप है कि देइफ ही 7 अक्टूबर के हमास के हमले का मास्टरमाइंड था। उस हमले में 1200 लोगों की मौत हुई थी और ढाई से ज्यादा लोगों को बंधक बना लिया गया था। 

इजरायली डिफेंस फोर्स (आईडीएफ) ने बताया है कि पिछले महीने दक्षिणी गाजा पट्टी में एक इजरायली हवाई हमले में देइफ मारा गया था।58 साल का देइफ करीब दो दशक से अधिक समय से अलदीन अल-कसम ब्रिगेड में था और इजरायल के लिए मोस्ट वॉन्टेड था। देइफ पर कई हमले हुए और इनमें उसकी एक आंख भी कुछ साल पहले खराब हो गई थी।

उमेश कुमार ने शुभांकर मिश्रा के पॉडकास्ट ‘अनप्लग्ड’ में उनके उस वक्त के हालात के बारे में बताया जब वो अपने ऊपर लगे मैच फिक्सिंग के आरोप झेल रहे थे। पत्नी रहीं हसीन जहां के लगाए इस जहरीले आरोप के चलते शमी अंदर से बुरी तरह से टूट चुके थे। उमेश कुमार ने पॉडकास्ट में शमी के उस वक्त का हाल और उनकी मानसिक स्थिति के बारे में ही बताया है। उमेश कुमार के मुताबिक शमी उस वक्त मेरे घर पर ही रह रहे थे। वो उस वक्त काफी चीजों से लड़ रहे थे। लेकिन, पाकिस्तान से मैच फिक्सिंग करने के आरोप ने उनकी रातों की नींदें, उनका चैन सब छिन रखा था। वो अपने दामन पर लगे मैच फिक्सिंग के छींटे से बिखर से गए थे। उमेश के मुताबिक शमी ने कहा भी था कि वो सब कुछ बर्दाश्त कर सकते हैं लेकिन देश के साथ धोखेबाजी का आरोप नहीं।

SB News Bureau: East Bengal and Mohun Bagan are in the same group in Kolkata League this year. League starts on 25th, June. The group format of the league was done through the lottery on Thursday. Bhavanipur is in the group of East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. Apart from this, Peerless, George Telegraph, Talleygunge pioneers are also in the two main groups. On the other hand, three-time league champions Mohammedan Sporting have Diamond Harbor FC, United Sports Club, Southern Samiti, Erian in their group.
  
Last year, there was no excitement surrounding the East-Mohun derby of the Super Six as Mohammedan were crowned league champions earlier. Even later, complications arose around the league derby. Mohun Bagan gives East Bengal a walkover. Green and Maroon wrote to IFA demanding change of schedule.
 

The Indian team has announced the 27-man squad for the World Cup qualifying match against Kuwait

Khabar kolkata: The Indian team will play one of the toughest matches of the World Cup qualifiers against Kuwait at the Yuva Bharati Stadium in Kolkata. Coach Igor Stimach announced the 27-man squad for the June 6 match. Forward Parthib Gogoi and defender Mohammed Hammad are not in the team. The coach of the national team said that they were left out due to injury. Captain Sunil Chhetri will retire from international football after playing this World Cup qualifying match.32 footballers participated in the national team preparation camp organized in Bhubaneswar. Five of them have been released Phurba Lachenpa, Parthib Gogoi, Imran Khan, Mohammed Hammad and Jitain MS. "All are very professional and hardworking. All of them have intense competition. Especially Jeetan and Parthib. However, Parthib and Hammad had minor injuries a few days back. They need 7-14 days of rest," Steimach said.    देश में लोकसभा चुनाव का आगाज हो चुका है। आज पहले चरण के लिए वोटिंग जारी है। इस बीच प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का प्रचार अभियान भी जारी है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शुक्रवार को उत्तर प्रदेश के अमरोहा में कंवर सिंह तंवर के समर्थन में एक चुनावी रैली को संबोधित किया। इस रैली में पीएम मोदी ने टीम इंडिया के तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्मद शमी का नाम लिया। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी मोहम्मद शमी की जमकर तारीफ की। दरअसल, मोहम्मद शमी अमरोहा के ही रहने वाले हैं। ऐसे में पीएम मोदी ने अमरोहा में आकर शमी का भी जिक्र कर दिया है। प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने संबोधन की शुरूआत राम-राम से की। उन्होंने कहा कि आज पहले चरण का मतदान हो रहा है। ये लोकतंत्र के सबसे बड़े उत्सव का बहुत बड़ा दिन है। मेरा सभी मतदाताओं से अनुरोध है कि संविधान से मिले इस अधिकार का उपयोग जरूर करें।पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि विशेषकर मैं अपने युवाओं से आग्रह करूंगा, जो पहली बार वोट डालने जा रहे हैं कि वे ऐसा मौका जाने न दें, वो अवश्य वोट करें। पीएम मोदी ने आगे कहा, अमरोहा केवल ढोलक ही नहीं, देश का डंका भी बजाता है। उन्होंने कहा, क्रिकेट वर्ल्ड कप में भाई मोहम्मद शमी ने जो कमाल किया वो पूरी दुनिया ने देखा है। खेलों में शानदार प्रदर्शन के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने उन्हें अर्जुन पुरस्कार दिया है और योगी सरकार यहां के युवाओं के लिए स्टेडियम भी बनवा रही है। उन्होंने कहा, अमरोहा की एक ही थाप है- कमल छाप और अमरोहा का एक ही स्वर है- फिर एक बार मोदी सरकार। इस दौरान विपक्ष पर हमला बोलते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि इंडी गठबंधन वाले सनातन से घृणा करते हैं। अभी मैं द्वारका गया और समुद्र में नीचे जाकर भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा की। लेकिन कांग्रेस के शहजादे कहते हैं कि समुद्र के नीचे पूजा करने योग्य कुछ है ही नहीं। हमारी हजारों वर्ष की आस्था और भक्ति को ये लोग सिर्फ वोटबैंक के लिए खारिज कर रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारे देश में पहले की सरकारें सामाजिक न्याय के नाम पर एसटी/एससी और ओबीसी को सिर्फ धोखा ही देती रही। भाजपा गांव, गरीब के लिए बड़े विजन और बड़े लक्ष्यों के साथ आगे बढ़ रही है। लेकिन इंडी गठबंधन के लोगों की सारी शक्ति गांव, देहात को पिछड़ा बनाने में लगती है। इस मानसिकता का सबसे बड़ा नुकसान अमरोहा और पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश जैसे क्षेत्रों को उठाना पड़ा है।

 KKNB : Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Mohammedan SC are set to face off in the first Kolkata Derby of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season at the Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday, October 5, at 7:30 pm IST. Both these teams have garnered four points from their first three matches so far and this game will mark the end of Matchweek 4 before the international break.

 Mohun Bagan’s record against debutant clubs 

This will be the first fixture between these two sides in the ISL. The Mariners have won seven matches and drawn and lost twice each in their 11 games against teams that they are facing for the first time in the league. Will they continue that promising run against the ISL debutants for this campaign too?

 Can Mohammedan SC set an away record? 

 After their victory against Chennaiyin FC, Mohammedan SC became only the fifth team in the ISL to win their first away match. If they clinch a victory against the Mariners, Mohammedan SC will become only the second team in ISL history (after ATK in 2014) to notch wins in both of their opening away games on the road.

 Key Players & Milestones 

 Mohammedan SC’s Mirjalol Kasimov has won 11 fouls in three appearances so far. He can help the visitors pounce upon set-piece goal-scoring opportunities.

Dimitrios Petratos (49) is one short of becoming the seventh player to complete 50 ISL appearances for the Mariners.

Mohammedan SC’s Amarjit Singh recorded four blocks in his team’s previous game against Chennaiyin FC, which is the joint-most by any player in a match this season (Hijazi Maher vs FC Goa and Stephen Eze vs FC Goa).

जम्मू-कश्मीर में उधमपुर-कठुआ के जंगलों में सुरक्षाबलों और आतंकवादियों के बीच मुठभेड़, जैश-ए-मोहम्मद के 2 आतंकी ढेर

जम्मू और कश्मीर के उधमपुर और कठुआ जिलों के जंगलों में सुरक्षाबलों और आतंकवादियों के बीच मुठभेड़ हो गई है। मुठभेड़ के दौरान सेना के जवानों ने दो आतंकियों को ढेर कर दिया है।ये दोनों आतंकी जैश-ए-मोहम्मद के टॉप कमांडर थे।इनके पास सेएक एम-4 और एक एके सीरीज की राइफल, गोला-बारूद और खाद्य सामग्री बरामद हुई है।

मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, इलाके में जैश-ए-मोहम्मद आतंकी ग्रुप के भारी हथियारों से लैस 4 आतंकवादी फंसे हुए हैं। इन्हें सुरक्षाबलों ने घेर रखा है। जानकारी मिल रही है कि सुरक्षा बलों ने इस मुठभेड़ में 2 आतंकवादियों को मार गिराया है। 

थोड़ी देर पहले डिफेंस प्रवक्ता ने मामले पर जानकारी देते हुए बताया था कि विशेष खुफिया सूचना के आधार पर कठुआ में एक संयुक्त तलाशी अभियान शुरू किया गया और कठुआ-बसंतगढ़ बॉर्डर पर आतंकवादियों को घेरा गया। पुलिस ने बताया कि इलाके की घेराबंदी कर दी गई है और दोनों तरफ से कुछ राउंड फायरिंग भी हुई थी। 

जम्मू रीजन में मौजूद आतंकियों की तलाश और खात्मे के लिए सुरक्षाबलों की टीमें अलग-अलग इलाकों लगातार ऑपरेशन चला रही हैं। इस ऑपरेशन को भारतीय सेना, सीआरपीएफ और जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस की संयुक्त टीमें अंजाम दे रही हैं। इसी कड़ी में बुधवार को खंडारा इलाके में आतंकियों की मौजूदगी का इनपुट मिलने पर सुरक्षाबलों ने इलाके की घेराबंदी शुरू की। इस दौरान आतंकियों ने खुद को घिरता देख फायरिंग की। इस पर सतर्क जवानों ने मोर्चा संभाला। कई घंटे चली इस मुठभेड़ में सुरक्षाबलों ने दो आतंकियों को मार गिराया है।

ISL 2024-25 Media Day: “Trophies in the past don’t matter; you are only as good as your last game”, says NorthEast United FC head coach Juan Pedro Benali





KKNB: The Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 Media Day began in Kolkata with representatives from seven clubs, i.e. Mohun Bagan Super Giant, East Bengal FC, Mohammedan SC, Odisha FC, Jamshedpur FC, Punjab FC and NorthEast United FC previewing the upcoming season.

The event saw a blend of new and familiar faces, with Mohun Bagan's Jose Molina and Punjab FC's Panagiotis Dilmperis making their ISL debuts as head coaches, while veterans like Sergio Lobera, Khalid Jamil, Juan Pedro Benali, and Carles Cuadrat discussed their strategies for the campaign.

The discussions, however, began with the newly-promoted Mohammedan SC head coach Andrey Chernyshov expressing his pleasure at joining the ISL, with his captain Samad Ali Mallick underlining their ambitions to challenge for the playoffs straightaway.

“It’s a nice feeling to be a part of the ISL family. We did a great job last year by winning the I-League. I am thrilled about our supporters. They had been expecting this for many years. I can’t wait to get started with the league,” Chernyshov said.

The two other Kolkata heavyweights are on their desired track ahead of the coming ISL campaign. Whilst the Mariners embark on the coveted title defence, East Bengal FC are bolstered by solid reinforcements to their squad in the summer.

“It’s a process to prepare the team for the ISL. We have been working together for a month and there are still a few things to improve upon. We are confident in our players and the way we have trained until now,” Jose Molina said.

East Bengal FC tactician Cuadrat overlooked comparisons from their sluggish start last year to insist confidently that his team will hit the ground running from their opening fixture this time around.

“It’s a different season with different players, and hence I wouldn’t like to compare to the last campaign, because every team is in a different situation as they were last time around. We have the complete squad with us and we will have to be competitive from day one,” Cuadrat said.

 Lobera eyes ISL title with Odisha FC 

Odisha FC, who finished fourth last season, are basking on their storied run across multiple competitions in 2023-24 to produce similarly impressive outings this year too.

“It’s been six years in India for me now. We had an amazing season last year, finishing at the top of the group in the AFC Cup. We were close to winning the Super Cup and we reached the ISL semi-finals for the first time in the club’s history. It was an amazing run and we want to replicate that this year to put a smile on the faces of the fans,” Lobera said.



 Challengers for the playoffs spots 

The trio of Punjab FC, NorthEast United, and Jamshedpur FC had ignited an exciting late challenge for the playoffs last season, falling short at the final hurdle. Since then, the Highlanders have gone from strength to strength, winning the club’s first trophy with the Durand Cup last month.

“We are now starting to realise with what we did in the Durand Cup! But, now, we look forward to the ISL and there’s another story that’s waiting for us in the coming season. Trophies in the past don’t make you play better. You are only as good as your last game,” Benali mentioned.

Jamshedpur FC’s Khalid Jamil praised the ISL for bringing in new rules, such as the introduction of the concussion substitute, mandating an AFC Pro License holding (or equivalent) Indian assistant coach, amongst others. Considering that he is one of the two Indian head coaches in the ISL along with Thangboi Singto of Hyderabad FC, Jamil said, “These new rules will help in the development of Indian football. We shall study it in detail and see how they could help us benefit during the course of the season as well.”

For Punjab FC, they have a new coach at helm in Greek tactician Panagiotis Dilmperis. The team has made some smart acquisitions in the transfer window and Dimperis expressed satisfaction at the same, whereas skipper Luka Majcen stressed upon the importance of a positive start.

“I am really lucky with all the players we have got in the Punjab FC roster. They are all great personalities and our aim is to achieve greater heights than we did last year,” Dimperis said.

इजरायली सेना एक के बाद एक हमास को 3 बड़े जख्म दिए हैं। हमास के मुखिया इस्माइल हानिया और हिजबुल्ला कमांडर फउद शुकर के खात्मे के बाद इजरायली सेना ने हमास के सैन्य प्रमुख मोहम्मद देइफ को भी मार गिराया है। इजराइल ने खुद इसकी पुष्टि की है। इजरायली रक्षा मंत्री योव गैलेंट ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा है कि गाजा के ओसामा बिन लादेन कहा जाने वाला मुहम्मद देइफ को 13 जुलाई को खत्म कर दिया गया।मोहम्मद दइफ की मौत एक एयर स्ट्राइक में हुई।

इजराइल की सेना ने गुरुवार को एक बयान जारी कर बताया कि हमास का सैन्य कमांडर मोहम्मद दइफ जुलाई में ही एक एयर स्ट्राइक हमले में मारा गया था। यह एयर स्ट्राइक गाजा के दक्षिणी इलाके खान यूनिस में की गई थी। इजराइली सेना का यह बयान हमास की राजनीतिक शाखा के प्रमुख इस्माइल हानिया की मौत के एक दिन बाद ही आया है। हानिया का बुधवार को ईरान की राजधानी तेहरान में हत्या कर दी गई थी। 

जानकारी के मुताबिक गाजा के खान यूनिस में 13 जुलाई को स्ट्राइक किया था, जिसमें देइफ की मौत आज आधिकारिक पुष्टि की गई है। इस हमले में खान यूनिस ब्रिगेड के कमांडर राफा सलामेह और उनके साथ अन्य लड़ाके भी मारे गए थे।इजरायल का आरोप है कि देइफ ही 7 अक्टूबर के हमास के हमले का मास्टरमाइंड था। उस हमले में 1200 लोगों की मौत हुई थी और ढाई से ज्यादा लोगों को बंधक बना लिया गया था। 

इजरायली डिफेंस फोर्स (आईडीएफ) ने बताया है कि पिछले महीने दक्षिणी गाजा पट्टी में एक इजरायली हवाई हमले में देइफ मारा गया था।58 साल का देइफ करीब दो दशक से अधिक समय से अलदीन अल-कसम ब्रिगेड में था और इजरायल के लिए मोस्ट वॉन्टेड था। देइफ पर कई हमले हुए और इनमें उसकी एक आंख भी कुछ साल पहले खराब हो गई थी।

SB News Bureau: East Bengal and Mohun Bagan are in the same group in Kolkata League this year. League starts on 25th, June. The group format of the league was done through the lottery on Thursday. Bhavanipur is in the group of East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. Apart from this, Peerless, George Telegraph, Talleygunge pioneers are also in the two main groups. On the other hand, three-time league champions Mohammedan Sporting have Diamond Harbor FC, United Sports Club, Southern Samiti, Erian in their group.

Khabar kolkata: The Indian team will play one of the toughest matches of the World Cup qualifiers against Kuwait at the Yuva Bharati Stadium in Kolkata. Coach Igor Stimach announced the 27-man squad for the June 6 match. Forward Parthib Gogoi and defender Mohammed Hammad are not in the team. The coach of the national team said that they were left out due to injury. Captain Sunil Chhetri will retire from international football after playing this World Cup qualifying match.32 footballers participated in the national team preparation camp organized in Bhubaneswar. Five of them have been released Phurba Lachenpa, Parthib Gogoi, Imran Khan, Mohammed Hammad and Jitain MS. "All are very professional and hardworking. All of them have intense competition.    देश में लोकसभा चुनाव का आगाज हो चुका है। आज पहले चरण के लिए वोटिंग जारी है। इस बीच प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का प्रचार अभियान भी जारी है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शुक्रवार को उत्तर प्रदेश के अमरोहा में कंवर सिंह तंवर के समर्थन में एक चुनावी रैली को संबोधित किया। इस रैली में पीएम मोदी ने टीम इंडिया के तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्मद शमी का नाम लिया। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी मोहम्मद शमी की जमकर तारीफ की। दरअसल, मोहम्मद शमी अमरोहा के ही रहने वाले हैं। ऐसे में पीएम मोदी ने अमरोहा में आकर शमी का भी जिक्र कर दिया है। प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने संबोधन की शुरूआत राम-राम से की। उन्होंने कहा कि आज पहले चरण का मतदान हो रहा है। ये लोकतंत्र के सबसे बड़े उत्सव का बहुत बड़ा दिन है। मेरा सभी मतदाताओं से अनुरोध है कि संविधान से मिले इस अधिकार का उपयोग जरूर करें।पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि विशेषकर मैं अपने युवाओं से आग्रह करूंगा, जो पहली बार वोट डालने जा रहे हैं कि वे ऐसा मौका जाने न दें, वो अवश्य वोट करें। पीएम मोदी ने आगे कहा, अमरोहा केवल ढोलक ही नहीं, देश का डंका भी बजाता है। उन्होंने कहा, क्रिकेट वर्ल्ड कप में भाई मोहम्मद शमी ने जो कमाल किया वो पूरी दुनिया ने देखा है। खेलों में शानदार प्रदर्शन के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने उन्हें अर्जुन पुरस्कार दिया है और योगी सरकार यहां के युवाओं के लिए स्टेडियम भी बनवा रही है। उन्होंने कहा, अमरोहा की एक ही थाप है- कमल छाप और अमरोहा का एक ही स्वर है- फिर एक बार मोदी सरकार। इस दौरान विपक्ष पर हमला बोलते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि इंडी गठबंधन वाले सनातन से घृणा करते हैं। अभी मैं द्वारका गया और समुद्र में नीचे जाकर भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा की। लेकिन कांग्रेस के शहजादे कहते हैं कि समुद्र के नीचे पूजा करने योग्य कुछ है ही नहीं। हमारी हजारों वर्ष की आस्था और भक्ति को ये लोग सिर्फ वोटबैंक के लिए खारिज कर रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारे देश में पहले की सरकारें सामाजिक न्याय के नाम पर एसटी/एससी और ओबीसी को सिर्फ धोखा ही देती रही। भाजपा गांव, गरीब के लिए बड़े विजन और बड़े लक्ष्यों के साथ आगे बढ़ रही है। लेकिन इंडी गठबंधन के लोगों की सारी शक्ति गांव, देहात को पिछड़ा बनाने में लगती है। इस मानसिकता का सबसे बड़ा नुकसान अमरोहा और पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश जैसे क्षेत्रों को उठाना पड़ा है।
