The Rolls-Royce itself is a symbol of luxury and tradition, beautifully decorated with flowers and colors for the occasion. The Rolls-Royce, once owned by Rudyard Kipling, is adorned with flowers and colors, accompanied by traditional music and dance. He’s currently a,Graduate Engineer Trainee in Technical Operations at Shrachi Agrimech Pvt. Ltd., handling agricultural vehicle systems and technical documentation. Rohan has expertise in automotive systems like hybrid & electric vehicle tech, transmission, and fuel injection, and is proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
The members of the royal Harakutir Ray-banerjee family of Pathuriaghata, Kolkata, West Bengal, meanwhile just celebrated their Holika Dahan and Holi at their premises in a vibrant, unique and joyous affair, reflecting the spirit of India's Festival of Colors. 
Harakutir’s iconic Holi festivities began this monday, with the traditional Holika Dahan ceremony, where a 15 feet tall effigy, made of of hay and wood was set up on fire in a bonfire to symbolize the victory of good over evil. The event was marked by prayers, chanting, and the offering of cimar (puffs of burning cow dung) to ward off evil spirits. The tradition comes from a story in the Bhagavata Purana about the demon king Hiranyakashipu. He wanted everyone to worship him instead of Vishnu. However, his son Prahlada remained a devoted follower of Vishnu. Angry with his son, Hiranyakashipu asked his sister Holika, who had a boon that protected her from fire, to sit in a burning pyre with Prahlada on her lap. But due to divine protection, Prahlada survived while Holika was burned to ashes.
 
The next day, Harakutir came alive with the sounds of laughter and music as people gathered to celebrate Rangwali Holi. The air was filled with the sweet scent of colors, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement. Their celebration featured traditional Thandai, , a spiced milk drink, and gujiya, a sweet pastry filled with khoya and nuts alongside other Bengali sweets. The evening was filled with soul-stirring performances, including traditional dance and music for their Kuldevta Sree Sree Sridhar Narayan Jew, which ages to 1692 and has been worshipped by eminent saints like Ramakrishna Parhamhans Deb, Shri Shri Mohanananda Brahmachari, Sadhak Bamakhepa and Trailanga Swami to name a few. The deity alongside others was placed in a all silver throne or “jhula” in their adi thakurghar or place of worship.
Harakutir, a 333-year-old heritage house in Kolkata, is a treasure trove of Bengali culture and tradition. This iconic mansion has been hosting several events like: Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Shivratri and Holi celebrations for the past 333 years, making it one of the oldest and most revered puja venues in the city.
 The brain behind this grand celebration is Archisman Ray Banerjee, a 12th-generation family member and senior researcher at lIT Kharagpur and works of the National Crime and Investigation Agency, Government of India. Archisman, also the CEO of Brand Harakutir, is a man of many talents - a scientist, innovator, and cultural preservationist. He's pursuing his PhD in Chemical Engineering as a senior research fellow , focusing on solid-state battery technologies, and has received more than 30 prestigious awards some of them of the likes of the National Icon Award 2025 and Desh Ratna Award 2025 by the Government of India.

FSM x GSG Band-It 2025 Sees Nationwide Participation; Grand Finale Scheduled for January 15, 2026


Mumbai, India Band-It 2025, supported by Furtados School of Music, India’s largest inter-school performing arts competition, wrapped up its regional rounds across 11 locations nationwide, leaving behind a trail of energy, talent, and memorable performances. Organised in collaboration with Global Schools Group, the event brought together young performers from across the country, giving students a vibrant, professional platform to express themselves through music, dance, and speech & drama.From powerful performances to moments of confidence and creativity on stage, Band-It 2025 celebrated the joy of performing and the passion of young talent in its truest form.
The Band-It 2025 regional rounds were conducted across Mumbai, Pune, Noida, Udaipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Madurai, Kolkata, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad, witnessing enthusiastic participation from leading institutions such as the Narayana Group of Schools, National Hill View Public School, Ryan International School, JBCN, along with several other schools across the country.
Hundreds of young performers participated across categories including Solo Singing, Solo Instrument, Solo Dance, Speech & Drama, Choirs, and Bands. Their performances transformed the regional rounds into a dynamic celebration of creativity, confidence, and the rich diversity of India’s performing arts talent.
One of the key highlights of this year’s regional rounds was the strong participation and standout performances by students from GSG partner schools—including Witty International School, Glendale Academy, Vikaasa Group, One World International School, and Global Indian International School—who even emerged as winners across multiple categories. For many students, the regional rounds marked an important milestone in their Band-It journey—offering a first opportunity to perform on a professional stage before experienced jury members and live audiences. From emotionally expressive vocal performances and technically refined instrumental pieces to powerful dance routines and confident speech & drama presentations, the regional rounds showcased not just talent, but also discipline, preparation, and artistic depth.
Band-It’s distinctive focus on learning beyond competition continued to be a defining feature of the event. Participants received constructive feedback from expert jury members, helping them gain insights into technique, stage presence, and performance maturity. Parents and educators alike appreciated Band-It’s emphasis on confidence-building, artistic growth, and experiential learning rather than competition alone.
Speaking on the success of the regionals, the organising team shared, “Band-It is designed to be a journey of growth for students. The regional rounds are not just qualifiers—they are experiences that shape confidence, discipline, and a lifelong connection with the performing arts.”
Winners and shortlisted participants from the regional rounds are all set to advance to the highly anticipated FSM x GSG Band-It 2025 Grand Finale, scheduled to take place on 15th January 2026 at St. Andrews Auditorium, Mumbai. The Grand Finale promises to be a mega celebration of talent, bringing together the best performers from across India on one prestigious stage.
Adding to the excitement, the Grand Finale will feature celebrity appearances by Sanam Puri and his band, one of India’s most popular independent music acts. Known for their strong youth connect and musical excellence, Sanam’s presence is expected to inspire young performers and elevate the finale into a truly memorable experience.
Now in its 9th edition, Band-It has inspired and empowered over 20,000 students across India, growing steadily into a nationally recognised performing arts platform. प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने कोयला घोटाले को लेकर कोलकाता में पॉलिटिकल कंसल्टेंट फर्म I-PAC के दफ्तर में छापेमारी की। I-PAC के प्रमुख प्रतीक जैन के घर पर भी छापेमारी की गई है। रेड के बीच पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी भी छापे की जगह पर पहुंच गईं। मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने प्रतीक जैन के घर पर ईडी की छापेमारी को लेकर नाराजगी जताई।

पश्चिम बंगाल की सीएम ममता बनर्जी ने गृह मंत्री अमित शाह और ईडी पर उनकी पार्टी के कागजात और डेटा शीट पर कब्जा करने का आरोप लगाया है। बंगाल की सीएम ने कहा कि अगर मैं भी बीजेपी की पार्टी ऑफिस में रेड मारूं तो क्या होगा?

छापेमारी बदले की भावना से प्रेरित-ममता
पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने आरोप लगाया कि ईडी के अधिकारी आईपीएसी प्रमुख प्रतीक जैन के आवास पर तलाशी अभियान के दौरान टीएमसी की हार्ड डिस्क, आंतरिक दस्तावेज और संवेदनशील संगठनात्मक डेटा जब्त करने का कोशिश कर रहे थे। बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि टीएमसी के आईटी प्रमुख के घर पर ईडी की छापेमारी राजनीतिक बदले की भावना से प्रेरित और असंवैधानिक है, यह गृह मंत्री का सबसे घिनौना काम है।

रेल मंत्री ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान बताया कि वंदे भारत स्लीपर ट्रेन लंबी दूरी की रात की यात्राओं के लिए डिजाइन की गई है। यह ट्रेन यात्रियों को विश्व स्तरीय सुविधाएं, बेहतर सुरक्षा और एक आधुनिक यात्रा का अनुभव प्रदान करेगी। इसे भारतीय रेलवे के लिए एक बड़ा मील का पत्थर माना जा रहा है, जो प्रीमियम यात्रा को और सुगम बनाएगी।

पूर्वोत्तर और पश्चिम बंगाल के बीच बेहतर रेल कनेक्टिविटी
वंदेभारत स्लीपर ट्रेन का ऐलान पूर्वोत्तर और पश्चिम बंगाल के बीच बेहतर रेल कनेक्टिविटी का वादा है। यह दोनों क्षेत्रों को आर्थिक और सामाजिक रूप से एकीकरण को बढ़ावा देगा। गुवाहाटी और कोलकाता पूर्वी भारत और पूर्वोत्तर के दो सबसे अहम शहर हैं। दोनों शहरों के बीच एक बड़ी आबादी नियमित रूप से ट्रेवल करती है। यह ट्रेन न केवल यात्रा समय को कम करेगी, बल्कि कंफर्ट और सेफ्टी के मामले में भी एक नया मानक स्थापित करेगी।

पश्चिम बंगाल में अगले साल चुनाव होने हैं। इससे पहले राज्य का सियासी पारा हाई है। इस बीच केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह बंगाल दौरे पर हैं। शाह ने मंगलवार को कोलकाता में प्रेस वार्ता की। जहां उन्होंने राज्य की तृणमूल कांग्रेस पार्टी पर जमकर निशाना साधा।

  

टीएमसी सरकार पर जमकर बरसे शाह
अमित शाह ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि, बंगाल के लिए आज से शुरू होकर अप्रैल तक का एक अहम समय है क्योंकि तब राज्य में विधानसभा चुनाव होंगे। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि पिछले 15 साल में टीएमसी सरकार के शासन में राज्य में भय, भ्रष्टाचार और गलत प्रशासन फैला है, जिसके कारण बंगाल में आम नागरिकों में चिंता का माहौल बन गया है। शाह ने कहा कि भ्रष्टाचार के कारण बंगाल का विकास रुक गया है। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की जनकल्याण योजनाएं यहां टोल सिंडिकेट की भेंट चढ़ गई हैं। पिछले 14 वर्षों से बंगाल की पहचान डर और भ्रष्टाचार बन गई है।

बंगाल की विरासत को करेंगे पुनर्जीवित-शाह
बंगाल में आगामी चुनाव से पहले अपनी पार्टी के उद्देश्य के बारे में बात करते हुए गृह मंत्री शाह ने कहा, बीजेपी पश्चिम बंगाल के लोगों को भरोसा और वादा करना चाहती है कि जैसे ही राज्य में बीजेपी की सरकार बनेगी, हम बंगाल की विरासत को फिर से ज़िंदा करेंगे और राज्य में विकास की नदी बहेगी। हम गरीबों की भलाई को भी प्राथमिकता देंगे।

घुसपैठ को रोकने के लिए राष्ट्रीय ग्रीड बनाने का भरोसा
अमित शाह ने ममता सरकार पर घुसपैठ रोकने में विफलता का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने कहा कि घुसपैठ रोकना अब राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा का मामला बन गया है और केवल भाजपा ही इसे रोक सकती है। शाह ने कहा, एक ऐसी मजबूत राष्ट्रीय ग्रीड बनाएंगे जो बंगाल से घुसपैठ को समाप्त कर देगी। इंसान छोड़ दीजिए परिंदा भी पर नहीं मार पाए हम इस प्रकार की ग्रीड की रचना करेंगे। ना केवल घुसपैठ रोकेंगे, सारे घुसपैठियों को चुन-चुन कर भारत के बाहर निकालने का काम भी भाजपा सरकार करेगी।

घुसपैठ मुद्दे पर चुनाव
अमित शाह ने अपने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में ममता सरकार पर हमला बोलते हुए कहा, बंगाल के लोग अब जान गए हैं और वे बदलाव लाएंगे। आने वाला चुनाव घुसपैठ के मुद्दे पर लड़ा जाएगा। यह चुनाव घुसपैठ पर होगा और यह मामला अब राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा का मामला है। हमें ऐसी सरकार चाहिए जो बॉर्डर को सील करे।

   *Khabar kolkata News Desk* : আজ ব্যারাকপুরের মঙ্গল পান্ডে মিলিটারি ট্রেনিং এরিয়াতে ইস্টার্ন কমান্ডের নেতৃত্বে বিজয় দিবস ২০২৫ উপলক্ষ্যে মিলিটারি ট্যাটু প্রদর্শিত হল। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর ইস্টান কমান্ডের জেনারেল অফিসার কম্যান্ডিং ইন চিফ তথা পরম বিশিষ্ট সেবা মেডেল, উত্তম যুদ্ধ সেবা মেডেল, অতি বিশিষ্ট সেবা মেডেল ও সেনা মেডেল সম্মানে সম্মানিত  লেফটেন্যান্ট জেনারেল রাম চন্দর তিওয়ারি। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন মণিপুরের গভর্নর, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের যুব ও ক্রীড়া মন্ত্রী অরূপ বিশ্বাস এবং প্রতিবেশী দেশ বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন প্রতিনিধি সহ বিশিষ্ট অতিথিরা। ১৯৭১ সালের ভারত-বাংলাদেশ যুদ্ধের ফলে বাংলাদেশকে স্বাধীন করার ক্ষেত্রে যে মুখ্য ভূমিকা ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনী নিয়েছিল, সেই কথাকে স্মরণ রেখেই ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর তরফ থেকে এই বিজয় দিবসের আয়োজন করা হয় প্রতিবছরই। সেনাবাহিনীর বিভিন্ন বিভাগের সেনানীরা তাঁদের কর্ম কুশলীর প্রদর্শনীর দ্বারা অনুষ্ঠানকে রঙিন করে তোলেন। এরমধ্যে শিখ ও মারাঠি রেজিমেন্টের নৃত্যের পাশাপাশি ঘোড় সাওয়ারদের ঘোড়ার পিঠে চেপে নানান কৌশল প্রদর্শন ছিল তারিফ যোগ্য। পাশাপাশি, ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর এভিয়েশন গ্রুপ নানান ধরনের হেলিকপ্টার দিয়ে বিভিন্ন ধরনের কৌশল প্রদর্শন করেন। তার মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য ছিল আপৎকালীন পরিস্থিতিতে শত্রুর মোকাবিলা করা, আহতদের দ্রুত স্থানান্তরিত করা, যুদ্ধকালীন পরিস্থিতিতে কম সময়ের মধ্যে প্যারা ট্রুপিং করে সেনাদের নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে পৌঁছে দেওয়া সহ নানান পদ্ধতির প্রদর্শন। শীতের মিঠে কড়া রোদে এই প্রদর্শনী দেখতে দর্শকদের উপস্থিতি ছিল চোখে পড়ার মতো।

फुटबॉल प्रेमियों के लिए ऐतिहासिक और यादगार बनने वाला लियोनेल मेसी का कोलकाता दौरा उस वक्त अव्यवस्था और हंगामे में बदल गया, जब सॉल्ट लेक स्थित विवेकानंद युवभारती स्टेडियम के अंदर हालात बेकाबू हो गए।

  


दुनिया के सबसे लोकप्रिय फुटबॉलर को देखने के लिए हजारों फैंस ने महंगे टिकट खरीदे थे लेकिन उन्हें निराशा हाथ लगी। मेसी का कार्यक्रम में बहुत कम समय के लिए आना और बिना किसी फुटबॉल गतिविधि के लौट जाना फैंस को रास नहीं आया। इसके बाद स्टेडियम में हंगामा हुआ, बोतलें फेंकी गईं और गेट तोड़ने की कोशिशें हुईं। फैंस ने खराब आयोजन और वादों के टूटने का आरोप लगाया।

लियोनल मेसी G.O.A.T दौरे पर भारत पहुंचे हैं। आज वह कोलकाता पहुंचे और सॉल्ट लेक स्टेडियम का दौरा किया। लैप ऑफ ऑनर के बाद वह स्टेडियम से जल्दी निकल गए। इसके बाद सॉल्ट लेक स्टेडियम में मौजूद फैंस ने जमकर हंगामा किया है। उन्होंने कुर्सियां और बोतलें फेंकी हैं। फैंस का कहना है कि वह अपने स्टार की एक झलक तक नहीं देख पाए जबकि वह टिकट खरीदकर ये कार्यक्रम देखने आए थे।

सिर्फ दस मिनट स्टेडियम में रहे मेसी
गुस्साए फैंस की प्रतिक्रियाएं भी सामने आई हैं। एक प्रशंसक का कहना है, 'बेहद निराशाजनक घटना। वे सिर्फ 10 मिनट के लिए आए। सभी नेता और मंत्री उनके चारों ओर जमा थे। हम कुछ भी नहीं देख पाए। उन्होंने एक भी किक या पेनल्टी नहीं ली। उन्होंने कहा था कि वे शाहरुख खान को भी लाएंगे। लेकिन वे किसी को नहीं लाए। वे 10 मिनट आए और चले गए। इतना पैसा, भावनाएं और समय बर्बाद हो गया। हम कुछ भी नहीं देख पाए...।' वहीं, दूसरे फैन ने कहा, 'मेसी के चारों ओर सिर्फ नेता और अभिनेता ही थे...तो फिर उन्होंने हमें क्यों बुलाया... हमें 12 हजार का टिकट मिला था, लेकिन हम उनका चेहरा तक नहीं देख पाए...।'

हजारों में बिके टिकट
इस इवेंट के टिकट काफी महेंगे थे। किसी ने ये टिकट 10,000 में खरीदे तो किसी ने 12 हजार में। वहीं किसी ने तो 45 हजार रुपये तक में टिकट खरीदे। रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक इस इवेंट के टिकट पांच से 45 हजार रुपये तक के थे। इतने पैसे खत्म करने के बाद जब फैंस को मेसी की झलक नहीं देखने को मिली तो वह नाराज हो गए।

ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ডের উদ্যোগে  বাংলাদেশ থেকে ভারতীয় জেলেদের প্রত্যাবর্তন


 Khabar kolkata News Desk: ভারত সরকারের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় বাংলাদেশে আটক ৪৭ জন ভারতীয় জেলে এবং তিনটি (০৩) ভারতীয় মাছ ধরার নৌকা (IFB) প্রত্যাবর্তনের অনুমোদন দিয়েছে। ০৯ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫-এ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য সরকারের সমন্বয়ে ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড সফলভাবে এই প্রত্যাবর্তন প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করে। বঙ্গোপসাগরে আন্তর্জাতিক সামুদ্রিক সীমারেখা বরাবর এই আদান-প্রদান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

এই প্রত্যাবর্তন প্রক্রিয়াটি পারস্পরিক ব্যবস্থার অংশ হিসেবে সম্পন্ন হয়, যেখানে ভারত ও তার জলসীমায় অবৈধ মাছ ধরার অভিযোগে ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড কর্তৃক আটক ৩২ জন বাংলাদেশি জেলে এবং একটি (০১) বাংলাদেশি মাছ ধরার নৌকা ফেরত দেয়। ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড জাহাজ বিজয়া নিরাপদে ওই বাংলাদেশি জেলেদের Bangladesh Coast Guard-এর জাহাজ BCGS Kamaruzzaman ও Sadhin Bangla-এর কাছে হস্তান্তর করে।

প্রত্যাবর্তিত ভারতীয় জেলেদের তিনটি IFB-সহ ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড জাহাজ বিজয়া পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ফ্রেজারগঞ্জে নিয়ে আসে এবং ১০ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫-এ ICGS Frazerganj-এর মাধ্যমে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য প্রশাসনের কাছে হস্তান্তর করে। জেলেদের ও তাদের নৌযানগুলোর এই পারস্পরিক বিনিময় ভারত সরকারের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় মানবিক দিক ও জেলে সম্প্রদায়ের জীবিকা-সংক্রান্ত বিষয় বিবেচনা করে সম্পন্ন করেছে। গত তিন মাসে ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড ভারতীয় EEZ-এর ভিতরে অবৈধভাবে পরিচালনাকারী ছয়টি বাংলাদেশি মাছ ধরার নৌকা আটক করেছে।

যদিও ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড নিয়মিতভাবে IMBL-এ ভারতীয় মাছ ধরার নৌকাগুলিকে পথনির্দেশ করে থাকে, তবুও নৌকাগুলি অগভীর জলসীমা ব্যবহার করে সীমারেখা অতিক্রম করছে। গত এক বছরে IMBL-এ ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ডের ইউনিটগুলো ৩০০-র বেশি IFB-কে ভারতীয় জলসীমায় ফেরত পাঠিয়েছে। পাশাপাশি, জেলেদের IMBL অতিক্রম না করতে উদ্বুদ্ধ করতে স্থানীয় মৎস্য বিভাগ ও মেরিন পুলিশের প্রতিনিধিদের সমন্বয়ে উপকূলবর্তী বিভিন্ন জেলেপল্লিতে নিয়মিতভাবে কমিউনিটি ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন প্রোগ্রাম (CIP) আয়োজন করা হচ্ছে।

IMBL অতিক্রম করে বৈধ নথিপত্র ছাড়া বিদেশি জলসীমায় মাছ ধরা একটি গুরুতর অপরাধ এবং এর মারাত্মক পরিণতি রয়েছে। এ ধরনের লঙ্ঘন বিদেশি আইন-শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী সংস্থা বা সামুদ্রিক সংস্থার দ্বারা নৌকা/জেলেদের আটক হওয়ার কারণ হয়। এর ফলে জেলেদের এবং তাদের পরিবারের অযথা শারীরিক ও মানসিক কষ্টের সৃষ্টি হয়।

এই প্রসঙ্গে ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য প্রশাসনকে স্থানীয় জেলে সম্প্রদায়কে IMBL অতিক্রমের আইনি ও নিরাপত্তাজনিত প্রভাব সম্পর্কে সচেতন করতে প্রয়োজনীয় নির্দেশ জারি করার অনুরোধ জানিয়েছে।

The members of the royal Harakutir Ray-banerjee family of Pathuriaghata, Kolkata, West Bengal, meanwhile just celebrated their Holika Dahan and Holi at their premises in a vibrant, unique and joyous affair, reflecting the spirit of India's Festival of Colors. 
Harakutir’s iconic Holi festivities began this monday, with the traditional Holika Dahan ceremony, where a 15 feet tall effigy, made of of hay and wood was set up on fire in a bonfire to symbolize the victory of good over evil. The event was marked by prayers, chanting, and the offering of cimar (puffs of burning cow dung) to ward off evil spirits. The tradition comes from a story in the Bhagavata Purana about the demon king Hiranyakashipu. He wanted everyone to worship him instead of Vishnu. However, his son Prahlada remained a devoted follower of Vishnu. Angry with his son, Hiranyakashipu asked his sister Holika, who had a boon that protected her from fire, to sit in a burning pyre with Prahlada on her lap. But due to divine protection, Prahlada survived while Holika was burned to ashes.
 
The next day, Harakutir came alive with the sounds of laughter and music as people gathered to celebrate Rangwali Holi. The air was filled with the sweet scent of colors, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement. Their celebration featured traditional Thandai, , a spiced milk drink, and gujiya, a sweet pastry filled with khoya and nuts alongside other Bengali sweets. The evening was filled with soul-stirring performances, including traditional dance and music for their Kuldevta Sree Sree Sridhar Narayan Jew, which ages to 1692 and has been worshipped by eminent saints like Ramakrishna Parhamhans Deb, Shri Shri Mohanananda Brahmachari, Sadhak Bamakhepa and Trailanga Swami to name a few. The deity alongside others was placed in a all silver throne or “jhula” in their adi thakurghar or place of worship.
Harakutir, a 333-year-old heritage house in Kolkata, is a treasure trove of Bengali culture and tradition. This iconic mansion has been hosting several events like: Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Shivratri and Holi celebrations for the past 333 years, making it one of the oldest and most revered puja venues in the city.
 The brain behind this grand celebration is Archisman Ray Banerjee, a 12th-generation family member and senior researcher at lIT Kharagpur and works of the National Crime and Investigation Agency, Government of India. Archisman, also the CEO of Brand Harakutir, is a man of many talents - a scientist, innovator, and cultural preservationist. He's pursuing his PhD in Chemical Engineering as a senior research fellow , focusing on solid-state battery technologies, and has received more than 30 prestigious awards some of them of the likes of the National Icon Award 2025 and Desh Ratna Award 2025 by the Government of India.

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने कोयला घोटाले को लेकर कोलकाता में पॉलिटिकल कंसल्टेंट फर्म I-PAC के दफ्तर में छापेमारी की। I-PAC के प्रमुख प्रतीक जैन के घर पर भी छापेमारी की गई है। रेड के बीच पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी भी छापे की जगह पर पहुंच गईं। मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने प्रतीक जैन के घर पर ईडी की छापेमारी को लेकर नाराजगी जताई।

रेल मंत्री ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान बताया कि वंदे भारत स्लीपर ट्रेन लंबी दूरी की रात की यात्राओं के लिए डिजाइन की गई है। यह ट्रेन यात्रियों को विश्व स्तरीय सुविधाएं, बेहतर सुरक्षा और एक आधुनिक यात्रा का अनुभव प्रदान करेगी। इसे भारतीय रेलवे के लिए एक बड़ा मील का पत्थर माना जा रहा है, जो प्रीमियम यात्रा को और सुगम बनाएगी।

पश्चिम बंगाल में अगले साल चुनाव होने हैं। इससे पहले राज्य का सियासी पारा हाई है। इस बीच केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह बंगाल दौरे पर हैं। शाह ने मंगलवार को कोलकाता में प्रेस वार्ता की। जहां उन्होंने राज्य की तृणमूल कांग्रेस पार्टी पर जमकर निशाना साधा।

  

टीएमसी सरकार पर जमकर बरसे शाह
अमित शाह ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि, बंगाल के लिए आज से शुरू होकर अप्रैल तक का एक अहम समय है क्योंकि तब राज्य में विधानसभा चुनाव होंगे। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि पिछले 15 साल में टीएमसी सरकार के शासन में राज्य में भय, भ्रष्टाचार और गलत प्रशासन फैला है, जिसके कारण बंगाल में आम नागरिकों में चिंता का माहौल बन गया है। शाह ने कहा कि भ्रष्टाचार के कारण बंगाल का विकास रुक गया है। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की जनकल्याण योजनाएं यहां टोल सिंडिकेट की भेंट चढ़ गई हैं। पिछले 14 वर्षों से बंगाल की पहचान डर और भ्रष्टाचार बन गई है।

बंगाल की विरासत को करेंगे पुनर्जीवित-शाह
बंगाल में आगामी चुनाव से पहले अपनी पार्टी के उद्देश्य के बारे में बात करते हुए गृह मंत्री शाह ने कहा, बीजेपी पश्चिम बंगाल के लोगों को भरोसा और वादा करना चाहती है कि जैसे ही राज्य में बीजेपी की सरकार बनेगी, हम बंगाल की विरासत को फिर से ज़िंदा करेंगे और राज्य में विकास की नदी बहेगी। हम गरीबों की भलाई को भी प्राथमिकता देंगे।

घुसपैठ को रोकने के लिए राष्ट्रीय ग्रीड बनाने का भरोसा
अमित शाह ने ममता सरकार पर घुसपैठ रोकने में विफलता का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने कहा कि घुसपैठ रोकना अब राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा का मामला बन गया है और केवल भाजपा ही इसे रोक सकती है। शाह ने कहा, एक ऐसी मजबूत राष्ट्रीय ग्रीड बनाएंगे जो बंगाल से घुसपैठ को समाप्त कर देगी। इंसान छोड़ दीजिए परिंदा भी पर नहीं मार पाए हम इस प्रकार की ग्रीड की रचना करेंगे। ना केवल घुसपैठ रोकेंगे, सारे घुसपैठियों को चुन-चुन कर भारत के बाहर निकालने का काम भी भाजपा सरकार करेगी।

घुसपैठ मुद्दे पर चुनाव
अमित शाह ने अपने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में ममता सरकार पर हमला बोलते हुए कहा, बंगाल के लोग अब जान गए हैं और वे बदलाव लाएंगे। आने वाला चुनाव घुसपैठ के मुद्दे पर लड़ा जाएगा। यह चुनाव घुसपैठ पर होगा और यह मामला अब राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा का मामला है। हमें ऐसी सरकार चाहिए जो बॉर्डर को सील करे।

   *Khabar kolkata News Desk* : আজ ব্যারাকপুরের মঙ্গল পান্ডে মিলিটারি ট্রেনিং এরিয়াতে ইস্টার্ন কমান্ডের নেতৃত্বে বিজয় দিবস ২০২৫ উপলক্ষ্যে মিলিটারি ট্যাটু প্রদর্শিত হল। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর ইস্টান কমান্ডের জেনারেল অফিসার কম্যান্ডিং ইন চিফ তথা পরম বিশিষ্ট সেবা মেডেল, উত্তম যুদ্ধ সেবা মেডেল, অতি বিশিষ্ট সেবা মেডেল ও সেনা মেডেল সম্মানে সম্মানিত  লেফটেন্যান্ট জেনারেল রাম চন্দর তিওয়ারি। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন মণিপুরের গভর্নর, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের যুব ও ক্রীড়া মন্ত্রী অরূপ বিশ্বাস এবং প্রতিবেশী দেশ বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন প্রতিনিধি সহ বিশিষ্ট অতিথিরা। ১৯৭১ সালের ভারত-বাংলাদেশ যুদ্ধের ফলে বাংলাদেশকে স্বাধীন করার ক্ষেত্রে যে মুখ্য ভূমিকা ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনী নিয়েছিল, সেই কথাকে স্মরণ রেখেই ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর তরফ থেকে এই বিজয় দিবসের আয়োজন করা হয় প্রতিবছরই। সেনাবাহিনীর বিভিন্ন বিভাগের সেনানীরা তাঁদের কর্ম কুশলীর প্রদর্শনীর দ্বারা অনুষ্ঠানকে রঙিন করে তোলেন। এরমধ্যে শিখ ও মারাঠি রেজিমেন্টের নৃত্যের পাশাপাশি ঘোড় সাওয়ারদের ঘোড়ার পিঠে চেপে নানান কৌশল প্রদর্শন ছিল তারিফ যোগ্য। পাশাপাশি, ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর এভিয়েশন গ্রুপ নানান ধরনের হেলিকপ্টার দিয়ে বিভিন্ন ধরনের কৌশল প্রদর্শন করেন। তার মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য ছিল আপৎকালীন পরিস্থিতিতে শত্রুর মোকাবিলা করা, আহতদের দ্রুত স্থানান্তরিত করা, যুদ্ধকালীন পরিস্থিতিতে কম সময়ের মধ্যে প্যারা ট্রুপিং করে সেনাদের নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে পৌঁছে দেওয়া সহ নানান পদ্ধতির প্রদর্শন। শীতের মিঠে কড়া রোদে এই প্রদর্শনী দেখতে দর্শকদের উপস্থিতি ছিল চোখে পড়ার মতো।

फुटबॉल प्रेमियों के लिए ऐतिहासिक और यादगार बनने वाला लियोनेल मेसी का कोलकाता दौरा उस वक्त अव्यवस्था और हंगामे में बदल गया, जब सॉल्ट लेक स्थित विवेकानंद युवभारती स्टेडियम के अंदर हालात बेकाबू हो गए।

  


दुनिया के सबसे लोकप्रिय फुटबॉलर को देखने के लिए हजारों फैंस ने महंगे टिकट खरीदे थे लेकिन उन्हें निराशा हाथ लगी। मेसी का कार्यक्रम में बहुत कम समय के लिए आना और बिना किसी फुटबॉल गतिविधि के लौट जाना फैंस को रास नहीं आया। इसके बाद स्टेडियम में हंगामा हुआ, बोतलें फेंकी गईं और गेट तोड़ने की कोशिशें हुईं। फैंस ने खराब आयोजन और वादों के टूटने का आरोप लगाया।

  

अपने स्टार की एक झलक भी ना मिलने से भड़के फैंस
लियोनल मेसी G.O.A.T दौरे पर भारत पहुंचे हैं। आज वह कोलकाता पहुंचे और सॉल्ट लेक स्टेडियम का दौरा किया। लैप ऑफ ऑनर के बाद वह स्टेडियम से जल्दी निकल गए। इसके बाद सॉल्ट लेक स्टेडियम में मौजूद फैंस ने जमकर हंगामा किया है। उन्होंने कुर्सियां और बोतलें फेंकी हैं। फैंस का कहना है कि वह अपने स्टार की एक झलक तक नहीं देख पाए जबकि वह टिकट खरीदकर ये कार्यक्रम देखने आए थे।

सिर्फ दस मिनट स्टेडियम में रहे मेसी
गुस्साए फैंस की प्रतिक्रियाएं भी सामने आई हैं। एक प्रशंसक का कहना है, 'बेहद निराशाजनक घटना। वे सिर्फ 10 मिनट के लिए आए। सभी नेता और मंत्री उनके चारों ओर जमा थे। हम कुछ भी नहीं देख पाए। उन्होंने एक भी किक या पेनल्टी नहीं ली। उन्होंने कहा था कि वे शाहरुख खान को भी लाएंगे। लेकिन वे किसी को नहीं लाए। वे 10 मिनट आए और चले गए। इतना पैसा, भावनाएं और समय बर्बाद हो गया। हम कुछ भी नहीं देख पाए...।' वहीं, दूसरे फैन ने कहा, 'मेसी के चारों ओर सिर्फ नेता और अभिनेता ही थे...तो फिर उन्होंने हमें क्यों बुलाया... हमें 12 हजार का टिकट मिला था, लेकिन हम उनका चेहरा तक नहीं देख पाए...।'

हजारों में बिके टिकट
इस इवेंट के टिकट काफी महेंगे थे। किसी ने ये टिकट 10,000 में खरीदे तो किसी ने 12 हजार में। वहीं किसी ने तो 45 हजार रुपये तक में टिकट खरीदे। रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक इस इवेंट के टिकट पांच से 45 हजार रुपये तक के थे। इतने पैसे खत्म करने के बाद जब फैंस को मेसी की झलक नहीं देखने को मिली तो वह नाराज हो गए।

ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ডের উদ্যোগে  বাংলাদেশ থেকে ভারতীয় জেলেদের প্রত্যাবর্তন


 Khabar kolkata News Desk: ভারত সরকারের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় বাংলাদেশে আটক ৪৭ জন ভারতীয় জেলে এবং তিনটি (০৩) ভারতীয় মাছ ধরার নৌকা (IFB) প্রত্যাবর্তনের অনুমোদন দিয়েছে। ০৯ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫-এ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য সরকারের সমন্বয়ে ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড সফলভাবে এই প্রত্যাবর্তন প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করে। বঙ্গোপসাগরে আন্তর্জাতিক সামুদ্রিক সীমারেখা বরাবর এই আদান-প্রদান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

এই প্রত্যাবর্তন প্রক্রিয়াটি পারস্পরিক ব্যবস্থার অংশ হিসেবে সম্পন্ন হয়, যেখানে ভারত ও তার জলসীমায় অবৈধ মাছ ধরার অভিযোগে ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড কর্তৃক আটক ৩২ জন বাংলাদেশি জেলে এবং একটি (০১) বাংলাদেশি মাছ ধরার নৌকা ফেরত দেয়। ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড জাহাজ বিজয়া নিরাপদে ওই বাংলাদেশি জেলেদের Bangladesh Coast Guard-এর জাহাজ BCGS Kamaruzzaman ও Sadhin Bangla-এর কাছে হস্তান্তর করে।

প্রত্যাবর্তিত ভারতীয় জেলেদের তিনটি IFB-সহ ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড জাহাজ বিজয়া পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ফ্রেজারগঞ্জে নিয়ে আসে এবং ১০ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫-এ ICGS Frazerganj-এর মাধ্যমে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য প্রশাসনের কাছে হস্তান্তর করে। জেলেদের ও তাদের নৌযানগুলোর এই পারস্পরিক বিনিময় ভারত সরকারের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় মানবিক দিক ও জেলে সম্প্রদায়ের জীবিকা-সংক্রান্ত বিষয় বিবেচনা করে সম্পন্ন করেছে। গত তিন মাসে ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড ভারতীয় EEZ-এর ভিতরে অবৈধভাবে পরিচালনাকারী ছয়টি বাংলাদেশি মাছ ধরার নৌকা আটক করেছে।

যদিও ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড নিয়মিতভাবে IMBL-এ ভারতীয় মাছ ধরার নৌকাগুলিকে পথনির্দেশ করে থাকে, তবুও নৌকাগুলি অগভীর জলসীমা ব্যবহার করে সীমারেখা অতিক্রম করছে। গত এক বছরে IMBL-এ ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ডের ইউনিটগুলো ৩০০-র বেশি IFB-কে ভারতীয় জলসীমায় ফেরত পাঠিয়েছে। পাশাপাশি, জেলেদের IMBL অতিক্রম না করতে উদ্বুদ্ধ করতে স্থানীয় মৎস্য বিভাগ ও মেরিন পুলিশের প্রতিনিধিদের সমন্বয়ে উপকূলবর্তী বিভিন্ন জেলেপল্লিতে নিয়মিতভাবে কমিউনিটি ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন প্রোগ্রাম (CIP) আয়োজন করা হচ্ছে।

IMBL অতিক্রম করে বৈধ নথিপত্র ছাড়া বিদেশি জলসীমায় মাছ ধরা একটি গুরুতর অপরাধ এবং এর মারাত্মক পরিণতি রয়েছে। এ ধরনের লঙ্ঘন বিদেশি আইন-শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী সংস্থা বা সামুদ্রিক সংস্থার দ্বারা নৌকা/জেলেদের আটক হওয়ার কারণ হয়। এর ফলে জেলেদের এবং তাদের পরিবারের অযথা শারীরিক ও মানসিক কষ্টের সৃষ্টি হয়।

এই প্রসঙ্গে ভারতীয় কোস্ট গার্ড পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য প্রশাসনকে স্থানীয় জেলে সম্প্রদায়কে IMBL অতিক্রমের আইনি ও নিরাপত্তাজনিত প্রভাব সম্পর্কে সচেতন করতে প্রয়োজনীয় নির্দেশ জারি করার অনুরোধ জানিয়েছে।
