अमेरिका से तहव्वुर राणा का भारत प्रत्यपर्ण हो चुका है। मुंबई हमले 26/11 के मास्टरमाइंड तहव्वुर राणा इस वक्त भारत में है। एनआईए कोर्ट ने उसे 18 दिनों की कस्टडी में भेज दिया है। इस दौरान एनआईए मुंबई हमले से जुड़े तमाम पहलुओं पर पूछताछ करेगी। अब तहव्वुर राणा की बेड़ियों में जकड़ी हुई तस्वीरें सामने आई हैं। 

तहव्वुर राणा की ये तस्वीर उस वक्त की है, जब अमेरिकी अधिकारी उसे एनआईए के हवाले कर रहे हैं। प्रत्यर्पण की तस्वीर में राणा के पैरों में बेड़ियां, कमर में जंजीर बंधी हुई दिखाई दे रही है। इसके साथ ही अमेरिकी मार्शल प्रत्यर्पण की प्रक्रिया को पूरा करते हुए नजर आ रहे हैं, वहीं एनआईए के अधिकारी भी वहां मौजूद हैं। 

अमेरिका के न्याय विभाग ने यह तस्वीर जारी की है। अमेरिकी न्याय विभाग ने जेल द्वारा जारी की गई तस्वीर में राणा ब्राउन कलर की वर्दी पहने और अमेरिकी मार्शलों के साथ खड़ा है। फोटो में राणा की शक्ल तो नहीं दिख रही, लेकिन उसे ले जाता हुआ जरूर देखा जा सकता है। उसके शरीर को जंजीर से बांध रखा है, यानी कि काफी सुरक्षा के बीच उसे भारत को सौंपा गया है।

अमेरिकी न्याय विभाग कैलिपोर्निया के सेंट्रल डिस्ट्रिक्ट में अमेरिकी मार्शलों ने मंगलवार को पाकिस्तानी नागरिक और कनाडाई नागरिक तहव्वुर राणा की हिरासत भारत के विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रतिनिधियों को सौंप दी। तहव्वुर राणा अब 18 दिनों के लिए एनआईए की हिरासत में है। तहव्वुर राणा को एनआईए के मुख्यालय में ग्राउंड फ्लोर पर ही एक लॉकअप में रखा गया है। लॉकअप के ठीक बगल में एक इंटोरेगेशन रूम बना है. इसी में उससे आज पूछताछ होगी। ताकि 2008 के हमलों के पीछे की पूरी साजिश का पता लगाया जा सके। इन हमलों में कुल 166 लोग मारे गए थे और 238 से अधिक घायल हुए थे।

26/11 मुंबई हमले को अंजाम देने में अहम भूमिका निभाने वाले तहव्वुर राणा भारत आ चुका है। अमेरिका से तहव्वुर राणा का प्रत्यार्पण सरकार, भारतीय एजेंसियों और भारत की डिप्लोमेसी की बहुत बड़ी जीत मानी जा रही है। राणा पर आतंकी हमलों की साजिश रचने का आरोप है। इसका खुलासा उसके बचपन के दोस्त और आतंकी हमलों के मुख्य आरोपी डेविड कोलमैन हेडली की गवाही से हुआ था।

सबसे पहले जानते हैं डॉक्टर से बिजनेसमैन और फिर आतंकी बना तहव्वुर हुसैन राणा के बारे में। 26/11 आतंकी हमले का साजिशकर्ता 64 वर्षीय तहव्वुर राणा का जन्म पाकिस्तान के पंजाब प्रांत के चिचावतनी शहर में हुआ था। मेडिकल की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद वह पाकिस्तानी सेना की मेडिकल कोर में शामिल हो गया। लेकिन, 1990 के दशक के आखिर में तहव्वुर राणा ने पाकिस्तानी आर्मी छोड़ दी और कनाडा चला गया। लेकिन, यहां भी कुछ साल रहने के बाद वह अमेरिका चला गया और यहां इसने शिकागो में अपना इमिग्रेशन बिजनेस शुरू किया। तहव्वुर ने ‘फर्स्ट वर्ल्ड इमिग्रेशन सर्विसेज’ नाम से अपना कारोबार जमाया।

हेडली के संपर्क में आकर राणा आतंकी गतिविधियों से जुड़ा
राणा के इसी ऑफिस ने हेडली को भारत में आने में मदद की। हेडली का असली नाम दाऊद सईद गिलानी था। वह एक पाकिस्तानी-अमेरिकी नागरिक है। उसका पिता पाकिस्तानी है और मां अमेरिका से ताल्लुक रखती हैं। अमेरिका में डेविड हेडली के संपर्क में आने के बाद तहव्वुर राणा आतंकी गतिविधियों में शामिल हो गया। इस दौरान वह लश्कर-ए-तैयबा से जुड़ गया। भारतीय जांच एजेंसियों के अनुसार, राणा ने 26/11 मुंबई हमलों की योजना बनाने में हेडली की मदद की थी। हेडली और राणा ने कथित तौर पर लश्कर-ए-तैयबा और हरकत-उल जिहादी इस्लामी के साथ मिलकर मुंबई और अन्य भारतीय शहरों में हमले करने की साजिश रची थी।

2016 में हेडली मुंबई की विशेष कोर्ट में हुआ था पेश
मुंबई में हुए आतंकवादी हमले के करीब एक साल बाद दोनों को गिरफ्तार किया गया था। अक्टूबर 2009 में अमेरिकी अधिकारियों ने हेडली और तहव्वुर राणा को गिरफ्तार किया था। 2010 में हेडली ने सभी आरोपों को स्वीकार कर लिया था। उसने यह बात कबूल की थी कि 26/11 आतंकी हमले में उसकी भूमिका थी। 2016 में हेडली अमेरिका की अज्ञात जगह से वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए मुंबई की एक विशेष कोर्ट के समक्ष पेश हुआ था। उससे विशेष लोक अभियोजक उज्ज्वल निकम और बचाव पक्ष के वकील वहाब खान ने पूछताछ की थी।
इस दौरान हेडली ने खुलासा किया कि वह राणा के साथ लगातार संपर्क में था। दोनों ने अपनी अवैध गतिविधियों को छिपाने के लिए मुंबई में एक व्यावसायिक कार्यालय खोलने की अनुमति भी ली थी।

5 साल का बिजनेस वीजा दिलाने में मदद की
गवाही के दौरान हेडली ने कहा था, जुलाई 2006 में मैं राणा से मिलने के लिए शिकागो गया था और उसे उस मिशन (मुंबई पर हमले) के बारे में बताया था जो लश्कर ने मुझे सौंपा था। राणा ने मुंबई में एक फर्स्ट वर्ल्ड इमिग्रेशन सर्विसेज नाम से कार्यालय स्थापित करने की मेरी योजना को मंजूरी दी थी और उसे 5 साल का बिजनेस वीजा प्राप्त करने में मदद की थी।

हमलों से पहले 8 बार भारत आ हेडली
हेडली ने कहा था, मुंबई पर हमला करने वाले 10 आतंकवादियों ने उसी साल सितंबर-अक्टूबर में हमले के असफल प्रयास किए थे। हेडली ने कहा कि वह हमलों से पहले 8 बार और बाद में एक बार भारत आया था। हेडली ने बताया कि उसने रैकी की और बॉलीवुड सितारों से दोस्ती की। हेडली ने ये भी बताया कि उसने आईएसआई के मेजर अली और मेजर इकबाल से मुलाकात की, जिन्होंने उसकी मुलाकात हैंडलर साजिद मीर से करवाई।

The Knockouts will be played on 29th & 30th March 2025, followed by the two-legged Semi-finals on 2nd-3rd & 6th-7th April. The much-anticipated Final of the 2024-25 season will be played on Saturday, 12th April 2025.

Mohun Bagan SG created history by clinching the League Shield for the second season in a row, becoming the first team in the competition to do so. Along with Mohun Bagan SG, FC Goa (2nd), Bengaluru FC (3rd), NorthEast United FC (4th), Jamshedpur FC (5th) & Mumbai City FC (6th) all confirmed their spots in the Playoffs.
 

 In the Playoffs, the teams ranked third to sixth will battle it out in two single-legged Knockout matches to determine the opponents for Mohun Bagan SG and FC Goa, who make it directly to the Semi-finals. The Semi-finals will be played in a home and away format with the winners over the two legs playing the Final on 12th April at the home of the higher-ranked team in the League Table.

Fauji to Fauji: The Corporate Transition Playbook – An Interview
Interviewer: Welcome, Cdr Pasricha! There’s always a lot of buzz around military personnel transitioning to the corporate world. Many serving officers are on the fence about making the switch. What’s the most common question you hear from your fellow faujis?
Cdr Pasricha: Oh, I get a range of them! "Will I adjust to the new world order?", "How is corporate life?", "Is there stability at work?", "What do I need to plan before leaving service?"—the list goes on. The transition can feel like stepping into uncharted territory, but trust me, it's nothing a Fauji can't handle!

Interviewer: That’s reassuring! But let's be honest—military life is all about discipline, structure, and a well-defined purpose. The corporate world, on the other hand, is more profit-driven. How does this impact retired personnel?
Cdr Pasricha: Ah, the great shift in purpose! In the military, every mission serves a greater good—national security, saving lives, protecting borders. In the corporate world, success is measured by profits, market shares, and business growth. Many veterans initially struggle to find meaning in their work. The trick is to align yourself with roles that resonate with your core values—leadership development, consulting, or even CSR initiatives. Find your mission within the mission!

Interviewer: Well said! Now, the work culture is another massive change. In the military, hierarchy is everything—orders are followed, no questions asked. But in corporate life, collaboration and debate are encouraged. How do retired officers adapt?
Cdr Pasricha: You nailed it! In the forces, when a command is given, it’s executed—period. In the corporate world, questioning, brainstorming, and debating ideas are the norm. Initially, this can feel chaotic for veterans. My advice? Observe first. Soak in the dynamics. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll see that leadership here is more about influence than authority.
And here’s a pro tip: Instead of giving orders, ask, "What do you think?"—it works wonders!

Interviewer: That’s a gold nugget right there! Another big shift must be decision-making. Military officers are trained to take quick, high-pressure decisions. But the corporate world thrives on stakeholder consensus. Is that a tough adjustment?
Cdr Pasricha: Absolutely! In the military, a delay in decision-making can be life-threatening. In business, it’s all about buy-in from different stakeholders, endless meetings, and navigating office politics. Initially, the pace can be frustrating. But once you learn the game, you’ll see that your ability to make firm, informed decisions is a superpower. Just learn to balance decisiveness with diplomacy.

Interviewer: Speaking of adjustments, work-life balance is another big one. Defence personnel live in a close-knit community. But in corporate life, people clock out and go their own way. How does this impact retired officers?
Cdr Pasricha: Oh, this is a real shocker! In the armed forces, your colleagues are your family. You live together, train together, celebrate together. Then suddenly, you’re in a world where relationships are transactional, and weekend plans are personal. The key is to build new networks—join corporate clubs, alumni groups, or even veteran communities. Find your tribe, and you won’t feel alone!

Interviewer: That makes sense. Now, let’s talk money. The military offers a structured salary, benefits, housing, and medical perks. In corporate life, it’s all about negotiations. How can veterans ensure they get their due?
Cdr Pasricha: Negotiating salaries? That’s foreign territory for most of us! In the forces, our pay scales are fixed. But in corporate life, everything is negotiable. My advice? Do your homework. Know your market value. Speak to other veterans who have transitioned. And don’t undersell yourself—your leadership, discipline, and crisis-management skills are priceless.

Interviewer: What about career progression? In the military, promotions are structured. But in business, growth depends on networking and performance. How do retired personnel adapt to this?
Cdr Pasricha: That’s a mindset shift! In the armed forces, you rise through the ranks over time. In corporate, you must actively chase opportunities—network, take on new challenges, switch functions if needed. It’s more of a jungle gym than a ladder. My tip? Be open to lateral moves; they often lead to bigger roles down the line!

Interviewer: This has been enlightening! Before we wrap up, can you share some tips for faujis planning their corporate transition?
Cdr Pasricha: Of course! Here are my top five:
Upskill yourself – An executive MBA, project management certification, or industry-specific training will make you job-ready.
Leverage veteran networks – Connect with those who have successfully transitioned; they’ll guide you through.
Embrace change – Be open to feedback, learn new skills, and adapt quickly.
Play to your strengths – Leadership, crisis management, discipline—these are gold in the corporate world.
Use specialized agencies – There are organizations that help veterans with job placements, resumes, and career counseling.

Interviewer: This has been an eye-opener! Thank you, Cdr Pasricha, for sharing your insights. One last question—would you say this transition is difficult?
Cdr Pasricha: Difficult? Not at all! Challenging? Yes. But show me a Fauji who doesn’t love a challenge! We’ve conquered tougher terrains—this is just another mission. Plan well, adapt fast, and march forward. The corporate world isn’t ready for the force that’s coming their way!

मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कहा कि किस प्रकार की मंशा से यह हमला हुआ है सभी चीजें जल्द ही सामने आएंगी। फडणवीस ने मीडिया से कहा, मुझे लगता है कि मुंबई देश के बड़े शहरों में सबसे सुरक्षित है। यह सच है कि कभी-कभी कुछ घटनाएं होती हैं और उन्हें गंभीरता से लिया जाना चाहिए। लेकिन यह कहना कि ऐसी घटनाओं के कारण मुंबई असुरक्षित है, सही नहीं है। ऐसी टिप्पणियों के कारण मुंबई की छवि खराब होती है। शहर को सुरक्षित बनाने के लिए सरकार निश्चित रूप से प्रयास करेगी।

The judges, alongside chief guests Harmeet and Inderjit, brought an emotional and lively vibe to the celebration, reliving fond college memories while applauding the creativity and talent of the current generation. The event, choreographed by Rohan, was managed by a dynamic committee comprising Dr. Gaganjyot Kaur, Dr. Gursimran Kaur Uppal, Dr. Charanjit Kaur, Dr. Sharad Tripathi, Mohd Shahid Qureshi, Sheetal, Komal Kaur, and Jagdeep Kaur. Together, they delivered an evening of unmatched artistry and elegance.

Weeks of meticulous planning, rigorous rehearsals, and unwavering dedication were evident in every performance. The BCCI SGM was held at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai for the introduction of the newly-appointed BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia and BCCI Treasurer Prabhtej Singh Bhatia.

मुंबई नाव हादसा: 13 लोगों की मौत, जानें क्या हैं वो 4 बड़े कारण जिनसे हुआ यह दर्दनाक हादसा।


  


महाराष्ट्र में गेटवे ऑफ इंडिया के पास बुधवार शाम को हुए दर्दनाक नाव हादसे (Mumbai Boat Accident Update) में 13 लोगों की मौत हो गई. 100 से ज्यादा लोगों को रेस्क्यू कर बचा लिया गया है. इस पूरी घटना में कहां और क्या लापरवाही हुई, इसे लेकर कई सवाल उठ रहे हैं. अब तक हुई जांच से जो तथ्य सामने आए हैं, उसके मुताबिक 4 कारणों से यह हादसा हुआ है. तो चलिए जानते हैं क्या हैं वो 4 कारण (Boat Accident Reasons) जिससे यह दर्दनाक हादसा हो गया.

हर दिन हजारों की संख्या में लोग मुंबई के गेटवे ऑफ इंडिया को देखने के लिए पहुंचते हैं. इस दौरान इनमें से ज्यादातर एलिफेंटा आईलैंड को भी देखने के लिए जाते हैं. एलिफेंटा आईलैंड के लिए नाव से जाना होता है. बुधवार दोपहर को भी लोग आईलैंड को देखने के लिए एक नीलकमल नाम की बड़ी नाव से जा रहे थे, लेकिन लापरवाही की वजह से यहां दर्दनाक हादसा हो गया. तेज रफ्तार नेवी की बोट यात्रियों से भरी नाव से टकरा गई और फिर 13 लोगों की मौत हो गई.

हादसे के पीछे ये 4 कारण सामने आए हैं-

बताया जा रहा है जिस समय यह हादसा हुआ उस समय नीलकमल नाव में करीब 120 से ज्यादा लोग सवार थे. हालांकि, नाव की केपेसिटी केवल 80 लोगों की ही थी. प्रशासन की लापरवाही के कारण धड़ल्ले से यहां केपेसिटी से ज्यादा लोगों को बैठाकर नाव चलाई जा रही है, जो बीते बुधवार को 13 लोगों की मौत का कारण बनी हैं. हादसे को लेकर पीड़ित परिवार जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ सख्त से सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहा है.

सुरक्षित जगह पर टेस्टिंग

नाव हादसे को लेकर नेवी का बयान भी सामने आया है, जिसमें उन्होंने बताया कि नेवी की स्पीड बोट इंजन टेस्टिंग चल रही थी. इसी दौरान इंजन ने अपना नियंत्रण खो दिया और एक बड़ा हादसा हो गया. हादसे को लेकर सवाल उठने लगे हैं कि जब सभी को पता है कि यह रास्ता यात्री बोट के लिए है, तो यहां टेस्टिंग की क्या जरूरती थी. टेस्टिंग हमेशा ऐसी जगह पर करनी चाहिए जहां कोई यात्री बोट आती-जाती ना हो.

नीलकमल बोट में सेफ्टी गैजेटकी कमी

नेवी की तेज रफ्तार वोट के टकराते ही नीलकमल बोट में एक छेद हो गया था. यात्रियों के देखते ही देखते ही नाव समुद्र में डूबने लगी थी. सभी लोगों ने बचने की कोशिश की, लेकिन बोट पर सुरक्षा के पूरे उपकरण ही नहीं थे, जो थे भी वह बहुत कम थे. इस कारण से यह हादसा और भी ज्यादा बड़ा होता चला गया. लोग पानी में डूब रहे थे, लेकिन उनके पास सेफ्टी गैजेट नहीं थे. हादसे से पहले अगर सुरक्षा बिंदुओं की जांच की जाती तो, शायद इतना बड़ा हादसा नहीं होता.

नौसेना नाव चालकों का स्टंट

हादसे को लेकर प्रत्यश्रदर्थियों का कहना है कि नौसेना नाव के चालक बहुत ही तेजी से नाव पर स्टंट कर रहे थे. उनकी स्पीड लगभग 100 किलोमीटर घंटा थी. वह हवा में खुब तेजी से नाव गोल-गोल लहरा रहे थे. साथ ही नाव को हवा में उड़ा के खतरनाक स्टंट कर रहे थे. इसी दौरान नौसेना के नाव चालकों की लापरवाही के कारण उनकी नाव यात्रियों से भरी नाव में टकरा गई थी.

अमेरिका से तहव्वुर राणा का भारत प्रत्यपर्ण हो चुका है। मुंबई हमले 26/11 के मास्टरमाइंड तहव्वुर राणा इस वक्त भारत में है। एनआईए कोर्ट ने उसे 18 दिनों की कस्टडी में भेज दिया है। इस दौरान एनआईए मुंबई हमले से जुड़े तमाम पहलुओं पर पूछताछ करेगी। अब तहव्वुर राणा की बेड़ियों में जकड़ी हुई तस्वीरें सामने आई हैं। 

तहव्वुर राणा की ये तस्वीर उस वक्त की है, जब अमेरिकी अधिकारी उसे एनआईए के हवाले कर रहे हैं। प्रत्यर्पण की तस्वीर में राणा के पैरों में बेड़ियां, कमर में जंजीर बंधी हुई दिखाई दे रही है। इसके साथ ही अमेरिकी मार्शल प्रत्यर्पण की प्रक्रिया को पूरा करते हुए नजर आ रहे हैं, वहीं एनआईए के अधिकारी भी वहां मौजूद हैं। 

अमेरिका के न्याय विभाग ने यह तस्वीर जारी की है। अमेरिकी न्याय विभाग ने जेल द्वारा जारी की गई तस्वीर में राणा ब्राउन कलर की वर्दी पहने और अमेरिकी मार्शलों के साथ खड़ा है। फोटो में राणा की शक्ल तो नहीं दिख रही, लेकिन उसे ले जाता हुआ जरूर देखा जा सकता है। उसके शरीर को जंजीर से बांध रखा है, यानी कि काफी सुरक्षा के बीच उसे भारत को सौंपा गया है।

अमेरिकी न्याय विभाग कैलिपोर्निया के सेंट्रल डिस्ट्रिक्ट में अमेरिकी मार्शलों ने मंगलवार को पाकिस्तानी नागरिक और कनाडाई नागरिक तहव्वुर राणा की हिरासत भारत के विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रतिनिधियों को सौंप दी। तहव्वुर राणा अब 18 दिनों के लिए एनआईए की हिरासत में है। तहव्वुर राणा को एनआईए के मुख्यालय में ग्राउंड फ्लोर पर ही एक लॉकअप में रखा गया है। लॉकअप के ठीक बगल में एक इंटोरेगेशन रूम बना है. इसी में उससे आज पूछताछ होगी। ताकि 2008 के हमलों के पीछे की पूरी साजिश का पता लगाया जा सके। इन हमलों में कुल 166 लोग मारे गए थे और 238 से अधिक घायल हुए थे।

26/11 मुंबई हमले को अंजाम देने में अहम भूमिका निभाने वाले तहव्वुर राणा भारत आ चुका है। अमेरिका से तहव्वुर राणा का प्रत्यार्पण सरकार, भारतीय एजेंसियों और भारत की डिप्लोमेसी की बहुत बड़ी जीत मानी जा रही है। राणा पर आतंकी हमलों की साजिश रचने का आरोप है। इसका खुलासा उसके बचपन के दोस्त और आतंकी हमलों के मुख्य आरोपी डेविड कोलमैन हेडली की गवाही से हुआ था।

सबसे पहले जानते हैं डॉक्टर से बिजनेसमैन और फिर आतंकी बना तहव्वुर हुसैन राणा के बारे में। 26/11 आतंकी हमले का साजिशकर्ता 64 वर्षीय तहव्वुर राणा का जन्म पाकिस्तान के पंजाब प्रांत के चिचावतनी शहर में हुआ था। मेडिकल की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद वह पाकिस्तानी सेना की मेडिकल कोर में शामिल हो गया। लेकिन, 1990 के दशक के आखिर में तहव्वुर राणा ने पाकिस्तानी आर्मी छोड़ दी और कनाडा चला गया। लेकिन, यहां भी कुछ साल रहने के बाद वह अमेरिका चला गया और यहां इसने शिकागो में अपना इमिग्रेशन बिजनेस शुरू किया। तहव्वुर ने ‘फर्स्ट वर्ल्ड इमिग्रेशन सर्विसेज’ नाम से अपना कारोबार जमाया।

हेडली के संपर्क में आकर राणा आतंकी गतिविधियों से जुड़ा
राणा के इसी ऑफिस ने हेडली को भारत में आने में मदद की। हेडली का असली नाम दाऊद सईद गिलानी था। वह एक पाकिस्तानी-अमेरिकी नागरिक है। उसका पिता पाकिस्तानी है और मां अमेरिका से ताल्लुक रखती हैं। अमेरिका में डेविड हेडली के संपर्क में आने के बाद तहव्वुर राणा आतंकी गतिविधियों में शामिल हो गया। इस दौरान वह लश्कर-ए-तैयबा से जुड़ गया। भारतीय जांच एजेंसियों के अनुसार, राणा ने 26/11 मुंबई हमलों की योजना बनाने में हेडली की मदद की थी। हेडली और राणा ने कथित तौर पर लश्कर-ए-तैयबा और हरकत-उल जिहादी इस्लामी के साथ मिलकर मुंबई और अन्य भारतीय शहरों में हमले करने की साजिश रची थी।

2016 में हेडली मुंबई की विशेष कोर्ट में हुआ था पेश
मुंबई में हुए आतंकवादी हमले के करीब एक साल बाद दोनों को गिरफ्तार किया गया था। अक्टूबर 2009 में अमेरिकी अधिकारियों ने हेडली और तहव्वुर राणा को गिरफ्तार किया था। 2010 में हेडली ने सभी आरोपों को स्वीकार कर लिया था। उसने यह बात कबूल की थी कि 26/11 आतंकी हमले में उसकी भूमिका थी। 2016 में हेडली अमेरिका की अज्ञात जगह से वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए मुंबई की एक विशेष कोर्ट के समक्ष पेश हुआ था। उससे विशेष लोक अभियोजक उज्ज्वल निकम और बचाव पक्ष के वकील वहाब खान ने पूछताछ की थी।
इस दौरान हेडली ने खुलासा किया कि वह राणा के साथ लगातार संपर्क में था। दोनों ने अपनी अवैध गतिविधियों को छिपाने के लिए मुंबई में एक व्यावसायिक कार्यालय खोलने की अनुमति भी ली थी।

5 साल का बिजनेस वीजा दिलाने में मदद की
गवाही के दौरान हेडली ने कहा था, जुलाई 2006 में मैं राणा से मिलने के लिए शिकागो गया था और उसे उस मिशन (मुंबई पर हमले) के बारे में बताया था जो लश्कर ने मुझे सौंपा था। राणा ने मुंबई में एक फर्स्ट वर्ल्ड इमिग्रेशन सर्विसेज नाम से कार्यालय स्थापित करने की मेरी योजना को मंजूरी दी थी और उसे 5 साल का बिजनेस वीजा प्राप्त करने में मदद की थी।

हमलों से पहले 8 बार भारत आ हेडली
हेडली ने कहा था, मुंबई पर हमला करने वाले 10 आतंकवादियों ने उसी साल सितंबर-अक्टूबर में हमले के असफल प्रयास किए थे। हेडली ने कहा कि वह हमलों से पहले 8 बार और बाद में एक बार भारत आया था। हेडली ने बताया कि उसने रैकी की और बॉलीवुड सितारों से दोस्ती की। हेडली ने ये भी बताया कि उसने आईएसआई के मेजर अली और मेजर इकबाल से मुलाकात की, जिन्होंने उसकी मुलाकात हैंडलर साजिद मीर से करवाई।

Interviewer: Welcome, Cdr Pasricha! There’s always a lot of buzz around military personnel transitioning to the corporate world. Many serving officers are on the fence about making the switch. What’s the most common question you hear from your fellow faujis?
Cdr Pasricha: Oh, I get a range of them! "Will I adjust to the new world order?", "How is corporate life?", "Is there stability at work?", "What do I need to plan before leaving service?"—the list goes on. The transition can feel like stepping into uncharted territory, but trust me, it's nothing a Fauji can't handle!

Interviewer: That’s reassuring! But let's be honest—military life is all about discipline, structure, and a well-defined purpose. The corporate world, on the other hand, is more profit-driven. How does this impact retired personnel?
Cdr Pasricha: Ah, the great shift in purpose! In the military, every mission serves a greater good—national security, saving lives, protecting borders. In the corporate world, success is measured by profits, market shares, and business growth. Many veterans initially struggle to find meaning in their work. The trick is to align yourself with roles that resonate with your core values—leadership development, consulting, or even CSR initiatives. Find your mission within the mission!

Interviewer: Well said! Now, the work culture is another massive change. In the military, hierarchy is everything—orders are followed, no questions asked. But in corporate life, collaboration and debate are encouraged. How do retired officers adapt?
Cdr Pasricha: You nailed it! In the forces, when a command is given, it’s executed—period. In the corporate world, questioning, brainstorming, and debating ideas are the norm. Initially, this can feel chaotic for veterans. My advice? Observe first. Soak in the dynamics. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll see that leadership here is more about influence than authority.
And here’s a pro tip: Instead of giving orders, ask, "What do you think?"—it works wonders!

Interviewer: That’s a gold nugget right there! Another big shift must be decision-making. Military officers are trained to take quick, high-pressure decisions. But the corporate world thrives on stakeholder consensus. Is that a tough adjustment?
Cdr Pasricha: Absolutely! In the military, a delay in decision-making can be life-threatening. In business, it’s all about buy-in from different stakeholders, endless meetings, and navigating office politics. Initially, the pace can be frustrating. But once you learn the game, you’ll see that your ability to make firm, informed decisions is a superpower. Just learn to balance decisiveness with diplomacy.

Interviewer: Speaking of adjustments, work-life balance is another big one. Defence personnel live in a close-knit community. But in corporate life, people clock out and go their own way. How does this impact retired officers?
Cdr Pasricha: Oh, this is a real shocker! In the armed forces, your colleagues are your family. You live together, train together, celebrate together. Then suddenly, you’re in a world where relationships are transactional, and weekend plans are personal. The key is to build new networks—join corporate clubs, alumni groups, or even veteran communities. Find your tribe, and you won’t feel alone!

Interviewer: That makes sense. Now, let’s talk money. The military offers a structured salary, benefits, housing, and medical perks. In corporate life, it’s all about negotiations. How can veterans ensure they get their due?
Cdr Pasricha: Negotiating salaries? That’s foreign territory for most of us! In the forces, our pay scales are fixed. But in corporate life, everything is negotiable. My advice? Do your homework. Know your market value. Speak to other veterans who have transitioned. And don’t undersell yourself—your leadership, discipline, and crisis-management skills are priceless.

Interviewer: What about career progression? In the military, promotions are structured. But in business, growth depends on networking and performance. How do retired personnel adapt to this?
Cdr Pasricha: That’s a mindset shift! In the armed forces, you rise through the ranks over time. In corporate, you must actively chase opportunities—network, take on new challenges, switch functions if needed. It’s more of a jungle gym than a ladder. My tip? Be open to lateral moves; they often lead to bigger roles down the line!

Interviewer: This has been enlightening! Before we wrap up, can you share some tips for faujis planning their corporate transition?
Cdr Pasricha: Of course! Here are my top five:
Upskill yourself – An executive MBA, project management certification, or industry-specific training will make you job-ready.
Leverage veteran networks – Connect with those who have successfully transitioned; they’ll guide you through.
Embrace change – Be open to feedback, learn new skills, and adapt quickly.
Play to your strengths – Leadership, crisis management, discipline—these are gold in the corporate world.
Use specialized agencies – There are organizations that help veterans with job placements, resumes, and career counseling.

Interviewer: This has been an eye-opener! Thank you, Cdr Pasricha, for sharing your insights. One last question—would you say this transition is difficult?
Cdr Pasricha: Difficult? Not at all! Challenging? Yes. But show me a Fauji who doesn’t love a challenge! We’ve conquered tougher terrains—this is just another mission. Plan well, adapt fast, and march forward. The corporate world isn’t ready for the force that’s coming their way!

शिवसेना (यूबीटी) के सांसद संजय राउत ने कहा कि महाराष्ट्र में कोई भी सुरक्षित नहीं है। आम लोगों की तो बात ही छोड़िए, यहां तक कि जिन मशहूर हस्तियों के पास अपनी सुरक्षा है, वे भी सुरक्षित नहीं हैं। राउत ने कटाक्ष करते हुए कहा कि राज्य में पुलिस को ज्यादातर राजनेताओं की सुरक्षा के लिए तैनात किया जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि कानून का कोई डर नहीं है। सरकार पूरी तरह बेनकाब हो चुकी है।

When Alumni Became Chief Guests: RV, Harmeet, and Inderjit Return to Nazrana 2025
Guru Nanak Khalsa College hosted the grand spectacle of Nazrana 2025, an evening brimming with creativity, glamour, and cultural pride. The much-anticipated fashion show was the centerpiece of the event, captivating the audience with its stunning sequences and impeccable execution.

The judging panel evoked waves of nostalgia as Rajveer Singh (RV), Harmeet Singh Gupta, and Inderjit Singh, all proud alumni of the college, returned to grace the occasion. Rajveer, a celebrated influencer, branding expert, and winner of 13 prestigious awards, inspired the audience with his charisma and expertise. Joining him in the judging panel was Tamanna Bharat, an international beauty queen, crowned Miss Asia Global 2024, Miss Queen of India Runner-Up 2024, and Miss Navi Mumbai 2024. Their insightful commentary and radiant presence added a touch of stardom to the evening.

The judges, alongside chief guests Harmeet and Inderjit, brought an emotional and lively vibe to the celebration, reliving fond college memories while applauding the creativity and talent of the current generation. Trustee Chairman S. Gurinder Singh Bawa, Dr. Jasbir Kaur Makkar, and Dr. Kiran Mangaonkar provided steadfast support, ensuring every aspect of the event was executed seamlessly.

The Fashion Show: A Creative Extravaganza

The fashion show, meticulously planned under the leadership of Principal Dr. Ratna Sharma, was a testament to the teamwork and dedication of hundreds of students and non-teaching staff.  Dr Jasmeet Kaur Ghai & Latit Bhodare were the head of Nazrana 2025.
The event, choreographed by Rohan, was managed by a dynamic committee comprising Dr. Gaganjyot Kaur, Dr. Gursimran Kaur Uppal, Dr. Charanjit Kaur, Dr. Sharad Tripathi, Mohd Shahid Qureshi, Sheetal, Komal Kaur, and Jagdeep Kaur. Together, they delivered an evening of unmatched artistry and elegance.

The sequences included:

Non-Teaching Staff Walk: A tribute to the unsung heroes of the college.

Kapoor Group: A vibrant Bollywood-inspired showcase, crowned the winner.

Dream Sequence: An ethereal and imaginative performance.

Chemistry: A creative depiction of bonds and unity.

Cabaret: A dazzling high-energy presentation.

Kishore Kumar Group: A nostalgic musical tribute, winning third place.

Sikh Group: A rich cultural celebration, securing second place.



The evening reached its peak when the Giddha and Bhangra performances ignited the stage, compelling even the judges and chief guests to join the teachers in dancing, much to the crowd's delight.

A Collective Effort Behind the Success

The collaborative efforts of students, teachers, and non-teaching staff transformed Nazrana 2025 into an unforgettable celebration. Weeks of meticulous planning, rigorous rehearsals, and unwavering dedication were evident in every performance. Beyond a showcase of fashion, the event became a symbol of unity, creativity, and cultural pride.

For alumni Rajveer, Harmeet, and Inderjit, the evening was an emotional reunion, celebrating not just the talent of today but also the cherished memories of their college years.

With over 7,000 attendees, Nazrana 2025 was a resounding success, setting a new benchmark for future celebrations and leaving everyone eagerly awaiting the next chapter of this remarkable tradition.

The BCCI SGM was held at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai for the introduction of the newly-appointed BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia and BCCI Treasurer Prabhtej Singh Bhatia.

Mr Ganguly, who represented the CAB at the SGM, met and congratulated BCCI Secretary Mr Saikia and BCCI Treasurer Mr Bhatia.

"World’s Biggest Gujarati Food Festival 2025 Opens to a Grand Start with 13,000+ footfall  on day one!"
Mumbai, 12th Jan 2025: The inaugural day of the world's largest Gujarati Food Festival 2025, held at Kora Kendra Ground, Borivali West, Mumbai, on January 10, was a massive success. मुंबई नाव हादसा: 13 लोगों की मौत, जानें क्या हैं वो 4 बड़े कारण जिनसे हुआ यह दर्दनाक हादसा।


  


महाराष्ट्र में गेटवे ऑफ इंडिया के पास बुधवार शाम को हुए दर्दनाक नाव हादसे (Mumbai Boat Accident Update) में 13 लोगों की मौत हो गई. 100 से ज्यादा लोगों को रेस्क्यू कर बचा लिया गया है. इस पूरी घटना में कहां और क्या लापरवाही हुई, इसे लेकर कई सवाल उठ रहे हैं. अब तक हुई जांच से जो तथ्य सामने आए हैं, उसके मुताबिक 4 कारणों से यह हादसा हुआ है. तो चलिए जानते हैं क्या हैं वो 4 कारण (Boat Accident Reasons) जिससे यह दर्दनाक हादसा हो गया.

हर दिन हजारों की संख्या में लोग मुंबई के गेटवे ऑफ इंडिया को देखने के लिए पहुंचते हैं. इस दौरान इनमें से ज्यादातर एलिफेंटा आईलैंड को भी देखने के लिए जाते हैं. एलिफेंटा आईलैंड के लिए नाव से जाना होता है. बुधवार दोपहर को भी लोग आईलैंड को देखने के लिए एक नीलकमल नाम की बड़ी नाव से जा रहे थे, लेकिन लापरवाही की वजह से यहां दर्दनाक हादसा हो गया. तेज रफ्तार नेवी की बोट यात्रियों से भरी नाव से टकरा गई और फिर 13 लोगों की मौत हो गई.

हादसे के पीछे ये 4 कारण सामने आए हैं-

नाव में क्षमता से अधिक यात्रियों का होना

गलत जगह पर नेवी बोट की टेस्टिंग

सेफ्टी गैजेट की कमी

नौसेना नाव के चालकों का स्टंट करना

कैपेसिटी से ज्यादा लोग

बताया जा रहा है जिस समय यह हादसा हुआ उस समय नीलकमल नाव में करीब 120 से ज्यादा लोग सवार थे. हालांकि, नाव की केपेसिटी केवल 80 लोगों की ही थी. प्रशासन की लापरवाही के कारण धड़ल्ले से यहां केपेसिटी से ज्यादा लोगों को बैठाकर नाव चलाई जा रही है, जो बीते बुधवार को 13 लोगों की मौत का कारण बनी हैं. हादसे को लेकर पीड़ित परिवार जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ सख्त से सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहा है.

सुरक्षित जगह पर टेस्टिंग

नाव हादसे को लेकर नेवी का बयान भी सामने आया है, जिसमें उन्होंने बताया कि नेवी की स्पीड बोट इंजन टेस्टिंग चल रही थी. इसी दौरान इंजन ने अपना नियंत्रण खो दिया और एक बड़ा हादसा हो गया. हादसे को लेकर सवाल उठने लगे हैं कि जब सभी को पता है कि यह रास्ता यात्री बोट के लिए है, तो यहां टेस्टिंग की क्या जरूरती थी. टेस्टिंग हमेशा ऐसी जगह पर करनी चाहिए जहां कोई यात्री बोट आती-जाती ना हो.

नीलकमल बोट में सेफ्टी गैजेटकी कमी

नेवी की तेज रफ्तार वोट के टकराते ही नीलकमल बोट में एक छेद हो गया था. यात्रियों के देखते ही देखते ही नाव समुद्र में डूबने लगी थी. सभी लोगों ने बचने की कोशिश की, लेकिन बोट पर सुरक्षा के पूरे उपकरण ही नहीं थे, जो थे भी वह बहुत कम थे. इस कारण से यह हादसा और भी ज्यादा बड़ा होता चला गया. लोग पानी में डूब रहे थे, लेकिन उनके पास सेफ्टी गैजेट नहीं थे. हादसे से पहले अगर सुरक्षा बिंदुओं की जांच की जाती तो, शायद इतना बड़ा हादसा नहीं होता.

नौसेना नाव चालकों का स्टंट

हादसे को लेकर प्रत्यश्रदर्थियों का कहना है कि नौसेना नाव के चालक बहुत ही तेजी से नाव पर स्टंट कर रहे थे. उनकी स्पीड लगभग 100 किलोमीटर घंटा थी. वह हवा में खुब तेजी से नाव गोल-गोल लहरा रहे थे. साथ ही नाव को हवा में उड़ा के खतरनाक स्टंट कर रहे थे. इसी दौरान नौसेना के नाव चालकों की लापरवाही के कारण उनकी नाव यात्रियों से भरी नाव में टकरा गई थी.
