सीरिया के राष्ट्रपति अहमद अल-शरा शनिवार को आधिकारिक दौरे पर अमेरिका पहुंचे हैं। शरा सोमवार को वाइट हाउस में अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप से मुलाकात करेंगे। साल 1946 में देश की आजादी के बाद यानी करीब आठ दशक में यह पहली बार हो रहा है, जब कोई सीरियाई राष्ट्रपति अमेरिकी दौरा कर रहा है। सीरियाई राष्ट्रपति का अमेरिका दौरा ऐसे समय हो रहा है, जब अमेरिका ने सीरियाई राष्ट्रपति अहमद अल शरा का नाम आतंकवादी सूची से एक दिन पहले ही हटाया है।

  

दौरे से पहले आतंकी की ब्लैक लिस्ट से निकाला
सीरिया के राष्ट्रपति अहमद अल-शरा को अमेरिका ने पहले आतंकवाद की ब्लैक लिस्ट से निकाला। इसी के बाद अब शनिवार को शरा एक ऐतिहासिक आधिकारिक दौरे पर अमेरिका पहुंचे हैं। शरा ने इससे पहले मई में सऊदी अरब में ट्रंप से मुलाकात की थी। इस मुलाकात के बाद शरा के अमेरिकी दौरे का रास्ता साफ हुआ।

आईएसआईएस के खिलाफ दिख सकती है एकजुटता
शरा के नेतृत्व वाले गुट ने बीते साल बशर अल असद का तख्तापलट करते हुए सीरिया की सत्ता पर कब्जा किया था। सीरिया में अमेरिका के राजदूत टॉम बराक ने उम्मीद जताई कि अहमद अल शरा के इस अमेरिका दौरे पर सीरिया की सरकार, आतंकी संगठन इस्लामिक स्टेट के खिलाफ अमेरिका के नेतृत्व वाले गुट में शामिल होने के समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर कर सकती है। ट्रंप के साथ सोमवार को होने वाली बैठक के दौरान सीरियाई और अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति सीरिया के पुनर्निर्माण पर भी चर्चा कर सकते हैं।

आतंकी संगठन अल कायदा से रहा है जुड़ाव
अहमद अल शरा के पूर्व के संगठन हयात तहरीर अल-शाम का खूंखार आतंकी संगठन अल-कायदा से जुड़ाव था। यही वजह थी कि अमेरिका और संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद ने शरा का नाम आतंकवादी सूची में डाला हुआ था। हालांकि बाद में शरा सक्रिय राजनीति में उतरे और बीते साल बशर अल असद के खिलाफ विद्रोह का नेतृत्व किया। सत्ता संभालने के बाद से, शरा और सीरिया के नए नेतृत्व ने खुद को अपने उग्रवादी अतीत से दूर कर सीरियाई लोगों और अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय के सामने एक अधिक उदार छवि पेश करने की कोशिश की है।

 ग्रामीण भारत में नेत्र-चिकित्सा की पहुँच बढ़ाने पर मंथन गरीबों के लिए निःशुल्क रीडिंग चश्मा वितरण हेतु Restoring Vision, USA के साथ एमओयू अखंड ज्योति आई हॉस्पिटल, मस्तीचक स्थित सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस परिसर में रविवार को “साइट फॉर ऑल कॉन्क्लेव 2026” का आयोजन किया गया। इस राष्ट्रीय स्तर के कॉन्क्लेव का आयोजन अखंड ज्योति इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कम्युनिटी ऑप्थैल्मोलॉजी (AJICO) द्वारा किया गया। इसमें देश के विभिन्न भागों से आए नेत्र-विशेषज्ञ, नेत्र-अस्पतालों के प्रमुख विशेषज्ञों ने भाग लिया। इसमें 30 से अधिक नेत्र संस्थानों के 300 से अधिक प्रतिनिधि शामिल हुए। इस कॉन्क्लेव का विषय था- “कम्युनिटी केयर ऐज़ मार्केट इंटेलिजेंस: एन्हैंसिंग पेशेंट एक्विज़िशन इन आई केयर सिस्टम”। इस कॉन्क्लेव का मुख्य उद्देश्य यह समझना था कि ग्रामीण और वंचित समुदायों में नेत्र-स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता कैसे बढ़ाई जाए, लोगों में समय पर इलाज कराने की प्रवृत्ति कैसे विकसित की जाए और उन्हें सुलभ, गुणवत्तापूर्ण एवं किफायती नेत्र-चिकित्सा सेवाओं से बेहतर ढंग से कैसे जोड़ा जाए। कार्यक्रम में एम्स नई दिल्ली, शंकर नेत्रालय, अरविंद आई केयर सिस्टम, संकरा आई फाउंडेशन इंडिया, सीतापुर आई हॉस्पिटल तथा अन्य अनेक अग्रणी नेत्र-संस्थानों के प्रतिनिधि शामिल थे। इनमें कॉन्क्लेव में उपस्थित प्रमुख गणमान्य व्यक्तियों में डॉ. राजवर्धन आज़ाद- चेयरमैन, क्लिनिकल एंड रिसर्च एडवाइजरी बोर्ड, अखंड ज्योति आई हॉस्पिटल, प्रो. जी.वी.एस. मूर्ति- प्रेसिडेंट, PRASHO Foundation; श्री थुल्सीराज रविल्ला- डायरेक्टर-ऑपरेशंस, अरविंद आई केयर सिस्टम एवं एडवाइज़र-LAICO; डॉ. पार्थ बिस्वास- इमीडिएट पास्ट प्रेसिडेंट, AIOS; कर्नल डॉ. मधु भदौरिया- डायरेक्टर एवं चीफ मेडिकल ऑफिसर, सीतापुर आई हॉस्पिटल; डॉ. कौशिक मुरली- प्रेसिडेंट मेडिकल एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन, क्वालिटी एवं एजुकेशन, संकरा आई फाउंडेशन इंडिया; डॉ. प्रवीण वशिष्ठ- प्रोफेसर एवं ऑफिसर-इन-चार्ज, कम्युनिटी ऑप्थैल्मोलॉजी, डॉ. आर.पी. सेंटर, एम्स; डॉ. आर.आर. सुधीर- हेड, प्रिवेंटिव ऑप्थैल्मोलॉजी, शंकर नेत्रालय समेत कई शामिल रहे। Restoring Vision, USA के साथ हुआ एमओयू इस अवसर पर Restoring Vision, USA और और अखंड ज्योति आई हॉस्पिटल के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गये। अखंड ज्योति की ओर से मेडिकल डायरेक्टर डॉ. अजीत पोद्दार और Restoring Vision, USA की ओर से सीईओ इयान राॅजर्स के बीच एक महत्वपूर्ण समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए। एमओयू के तहत बिहार के गरीब एवं जरूरतमंद लोगों को निःशुल्क रीडिंग चश्मों का वितरण करने में सहयोग दिया जाएगा। यह पहल विशेष रूप से उन लोगों के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होगी जो उम्र बढ़ने के साथ निकट दृष्टि संबंधी समस्या से जूझते हैं, लेकिन आर्थिक या भौगोलिक कारणों से समय पर चश्मा नहीं प्राप्त कर पाते। यह समझौता बिहार में रिफ्रैक्टिव एरर और निकट दृष्टि समस्या से पीड़ित गरीब जनता के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम माना जा रहा है। समुदाय में जाकर जागरूकता और काम करने की जरूरत कॉन्क्लेव में विशेषज्ञों ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि नेत्र-सेवा प्रणाली को केवल अस्पताल तक सीमित नहीं रखा जा सकता। यदि लोगों को समय पर उपचार दिलाना है तो अस्पतालों और संस्थानों को समुदाय के बीच जाकर काम करना होगा, जागरूकता फैलानी होगी, लोगों की झिझक और डर कम करना होगा और उन्हें यह समझाना होगा कि समय पर जाँच और उपचार से अंधत्व एवं दृष्टिबाधा की गंभीरता को काफी हद तक कम किया जा सकता है। विशेषज्ञों ने इस बात पर भी जोर दिया कि रोगी जागरूकता और हेल्थ सीकिंग बिहेवियर को बढ़ाना आज की सबसे बड़ी आवश्यकता है, विशेषकर ग्रामीण बिहार जैसे क्षेत्रों में, जहाँ बड़ी संख्या में लोग केवल जानकारी के अभाव, दूरी, डर, या आर्थिक आशंका के कारण समय पर अस्पताल तक नहीं पहुँच पाते।

सीरिया के राष्ट्रपति अहमद अल-शरा शनिवार को आधिकारिक दौरे पर अमेरिका पहुंचे हैं। शरा सोमवार को वाइट हाउस में अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप से मुलाकात करेंगे। साल 1946 में देश की आजादी के बाद यानी करीब आठ दशक में यह पहली बार हो रहा है, जब कोई सीरियाई राष्ट्रपति अमेरिकी दौरा कर रहा है। सीरियाई राष्ट्रपति का अमेरिका दौरा ऐसे समय हो रहा है, जब अमेरिका ने सीरियाई राष्ट्रपति अहमद अल शरा का नाम आतंकवादी सूची से एक दिन पहले ही हटाया है।

  

दौरे से पहले आतंकी की ब्लैक लिस्ट से निकाला
सीरिया के राष्ट्रपति अहमद अल-शरा को अमेरिका ने पहले आतंकवाद की ब्लैक लिस्ट से निकाला। इसी के बाद अब शनिवार को शरा एक ऐतिहासिक आधिकारिक दौरे पर अमेरिका पहुंचे हैं। शरा ने इससे पहले मई में सऊदी अरब में ट्रंप से मुलाकात की थी। इस मुलाकात के बाद शरा के अमेरिकी दौरे का रास्ता साफ हुआ।

आईएसआईएस के खिलाफ दिख सकती है एकजुटता
शरा के नेतृत्व वाले गुट ने बीते साल बशर अल असद का तख्तापलट करते हुए सीरिया की सत्ता पर कब्जा किया था। सीरिया में अमेरिका के राजदूत टॉम बराक ने उम्मीद जताई कि अहमद अल शरा के इस अमेरिका दौरे पर सीरिया की सरकार, आतंकी संगठन इस्लामिक स्टेट के खिलाफ अमेरिका के नेतृत्व वाले गुट में शामिल होने के समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर कर सकती है। ट्रंप के साथ सोमवार को होने वाली बैठक के दौरान सीरियाई और अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति सीरिया के पुनर्निर्माण पर भी चर्चा कर सकते हैं।

आतंकी संगठन अल कायदा से रहा है जुड़ाव
अहमद अल शरा के पूर्व के संगठन हयात तहरीर अल-शाम का खूंखार आतंकी संगठन अल-कायदा से जुड़ाव था। यही वजह थी कि अमेरिका और संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद ने शरा का नाम आतंकवादी सूची में डाला हुआ था। हालांकि बाद में शरा सक्रिय राजनीति में उतरे और बीते साल बशर अल असद के खिलाफ विद्रोह का नेतृत्व किया। सत्ता संभालने के बाद से, शरा और सीरिया के नए नेतृत्व ने खुद को अपने उग्रवादी अतीत से दूर कर सीरियाई लोगों और अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय के सामने एक अधिक उदार छवि पेश करने की कोशिश की है।
