Nutri Activania Expands Focus on Women’s Nutrition, from PCOS to Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Nutri Activania, the Saket clinic founded in 2018 by Delhi-based dietician Avni Kaul, is strengthening its support for women’s health. Women’s health is a subject close to Avni Kaul’s heart, and as a hormone-focused nutritionist she now offers dedicated guidance for PCOS, endometriosis, PMS, fertility, perimenopause, menopause, pregnancy, postnatal recovery and lactation.
With PCOS increasingly common among Indian women, the clinic’s PCOS nutrition support focuses on meal structure, appetite, protein, fibre, energy and weight-related goals. Plans also take in sleep, stress, water intake and physical activity, all of which influence hormonal health. The guidance is designed to complement care from a woman’s gynaecologist or endocrinologist rather than replace diagnosis or treatment.
“Women often come to us after being handed a one-page diet sheet and told to lose weight,” said Avni Kaul, a dietician for PCOS in Delhi and Founder of Nutri Activania. “Hormones affect appetite, energy and mood, and PCOS, pregnancy and menopause each change what the body needs. A plan has to respect that, and it has to be something a busy woman can realistically follow. My goal is to give women the tools to take charge of their hormonal health through nutrition, rest, movement, self-care and a positive outlook.”
For women planning a family, the clinic offers pre-conception and fertility-related nutrition guidance, always alongside their doctor. For expectant and new mothers, its pre and postnatal nutrition programme covers dietary needs during pregnancy, postpartum recovery diets, breastfeeding and infant feeding, coordinated with the client’s obstetric and healthcare team. Avni Kaul is a Certified Lactation Counsellor (NHS, UK) with extensive training in maternal health and baby foods, and partners and family members are welcome to join sessions. Nutri Activania’s website also offers a free pregnancy weight gain calculator as a general starting-point tool.
Avni Kaul brings 12 years of practice, including her former role as a Dietician and Diabetes Educator in the Endocrinology Department at Max Hospital, where hormonal and metabolic conditions were central to daily care. She holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. qualifications in Food and Nutrition from the University of Delhi and was a Gold Medallist at Lady Irwin College.
Consultations are deliberately judgment-free, with every plan built around the woman’s routine, food preferences and emotional wellbeing. Support for thyroid management, which frequently overlaps with women’s hormonal concerns, and nutritional guidance for women prescribed GLP-1 agonist medications are also available, both in person and online.
About Nutri Activania
Founded in 2018 by dietician Avni Kaul, Nutri Activania is a Saket, New Delhi nutrition clinic providing evidence-based, personalised nutrition for women’s hormonal health, pregnancy and lactation, weight management and lifestyle conditions, in person and online across India.

The Lyricist with an M.Sc.: How Mohkam Singh is Rewriting the Rules of Punjabi Pop
In an industry driven by basslines and viral dance challenges, it is easy to forget that every hit begins with a blank page and a sharp pen. Even rarer is finding that pen in the hands of an international corporate strategist. Meet Mohkam Singh—the UK-based lyricist proving that global management credentials and grassroots Punjabi rhythm are not mutually exclusive.
Born in Punjab in 1996 and an alumnus of Guru Nanak Dev University, Singh spent over five years managing corporate development at Gocool International before moving to Britain to earn his Master's in International Business Management. That corporate discipline now shapes his creative workflow: while many view songwriting as purely spontaneous, Singh approaches the craft with architectural precision, tailoring cadence, vernacular slang, and thematic hooks to the algorithmic realities of global streaming platforms.
His creative breakthrough arrived through a string of independent label hits that quickly caught fire across regional airwaves. Tracks like the 2023 singles "Dashboard" and "Overdose" established his ear for club-ready pacing, but it was 2024's "BP High" (sung by J Attri under B Music) that cemented his reputation, picking up major nominations at both the PTC Punjabi Music Awards and the BritAsia TV Music Awards. Rather than sticking to a single formula, Singh pivoted in 2025 to romantic folk-fusion with "Jhanjra" (sung by
Deepkamal for HA Records), earning critical nods at the Mirchi Music Awards Punjabi for its seamless blend of heritage imagery and modern banter.
By early 2026, Singh's cross-border versatility showed no signs of slowing, as his club anthem "Ghunt Ghunt" alongside Meet Bhuker and Preet Mohit racked up an honors nomination at the Global Punjabi Media & Music Honors. Dividing his time between boardrooms, international transit hubs, and studio soundboards, Mohkam Singh embodies the modern Punjabi polymath—grounded in cultural storytelling, built for a global audience.

From Slum Lanes to a National Vision: Mangan Thomas Rijoy Introduces Desiya Suraksha Party
Chennai, India | October 8, 2026
Desiya Suraksha Party emerges from five years of grassroots work through the Secure Our City campaign, with a focus on safety, housing, education and healthcare.
“Why should a woman feel unsafe in her own street?” This question became the starting point of Secure Our City, a community safety campaign initiated by Mangan Thomas Rijoy (MTR), President of Desiya Suraksha Party (DSP)
According to the campaign's account, the initiative began in Chennai five years ago with a commitment to provide 10,000 free CCTV cameras in selected Indian cities. Working without NGO backing, corporate funding or political support, the campaign reports that it has helped secure 5,000 houses in Chennai's slum communities.
However, years of working closely with residents led MTR to reconsider what safety means for families facing economic hardship.
Living and interacting with communities helped bring wider challenges into focus, including inadequate housing, access to food, healthcare, clothing and education. The experience shaped a broader vision that extends beyond surveillance and neighbourhood security
“A camera cannot secure a hungry stomach. A camera cannot secure a homeless family,” MTR said, describing the thinking behind the next phase of his work
This experience eventually led to the formation of Desiya Suraksha Party (DSP), a political initiative intended, according to its stated mission, to raise questions about public accountability, resource distribution and the living conditions of ordinary citizens.

Desiya Suraksha Party's Key Prioritie
DSP has outlined five principal commitments in its proposed social agenda
Housing for every family: A minimum 500-square-foot home for every Indian family.
Dignity and basic necessities: Access to good-quality clothing and essential living conditions.
Free education and healthcare: Education and medical services at international standards, provided free of charge.
A future for every child: A home, family environment and future for children without parental care, with the state acting as guardian where necessary.
Safety for women and children: Recognition of personal safety as a fundamental right rather than merely a government scheme.
These commitments represent the party's stated policy vision. Their implementation would require detailed plans covering funding, administration, eligibility and delivery.

A Campaign with a Wider Purpose
The Secure Our City initiative was originally intended to establish a community safety model that could later expand through SecureCam India and potential corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding.
DSP now says the campaign will continue alongside its broader social agenda. Following its first Maanadu, scheduled for December 10, 2026, in Chennai, the party plans to expand the initiative across India.
The campaign also proposes security audits for homes and buildings, with a minimum security guarantee. Further details on implementation and coverage are expected to clarify how this proposal would operate.

Beginning in Tamil Nadu and Kerala

DSP has identified Tamil Nadu and Kerala as the starting points for its next phase. MTR has invited people interested in community safety and social welfare to learn about the party and its stated objectives.
The party's central message is that public safety involves more than preventing crime. It also encompasses access to shelter, healthcare, education and dignified living conditions.
As DSP prepares for its December gathering, the transition from a neighbourhood CCTV campaign to a broader political platform marks a new stage in MTR's stated public-service journey.

The People Behind the Spaces: How The KariGhars Built a Design-First Culture
A beautifully designed home may appear effortless when it is finally completed. Behind that finished space, however, are countless decisions involving design, materials, detailing, engineering, execution and coordination.
For The KariGhars, the people responsible for those decisions are at the heart of the organisation.
Founded by Abhishek Chadha and Aashita Chadha in 2009, The KariGhars has grown into a top interior design company in Bangalore with a multidisciplinary team involved in creating and executing residential spaces. Vinayak Chadha serves as the company’s Managing Director.
The company’s approach to its team is notably collaborative. According to The KariGhars, hierarchy takes a back seat to expertise, creativity and communication. Designers, architects, contractors and other stakeholders work together through discussions and brainstorming sessions during projects.
This collaborative model is particularly important in luxury residential interiors.
A high-end home is rarely the result of one person’s creative vision alone. A designer may establish the aesthetic direction, but translating that concept into reality requires technical planning, material knowledge, craftsmanship, project management and careful execution.
That is why The KariGhars places its designers at the centre of the project journey.
The company describes its designers as the “faces, voices and storytellers” behind its projects. Rather than treating design as a standardised output, the organisation encourages individual designers to bring their own creative perspectives while working within a collaborative project environment.
This philosophy is visible across the company’s portfolio.
The KariGhars works across different residential formats, from apartments and penthouses to villas and large-format homes. Its services cover spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, modular kitchens, wardrobes, dining areas, pooja rooms, home offices, bathrooms and balconies, alongside custom furniture and complete turnkey execution.
The scale of the organisation has also evolved with its project portfolio. The company currently highlights a team of more than 650 members and over 8,000 completed projects.
For a homeowner, this scale can translate into access to a broader range of expertise while still allowing the design to remain personalised.
The team’s role becomes particularly important during execution. Materials must be sourced and coordinated, dimensions need to be accurate, finishes must match the approved design, and multiple trades have to work in sequence. The smallest detail can influence the final appearance of a premium residence.
The KariGhars’ experience across thousands of homes provides its designers and execution teams with exposure to different architectural layouts, lifestyles, materials and design requirements.
Ultimately, the company’s work demonstrates an important principle of contemporary interior design: exceptional spaces are created not only through exceptional ideas, but through the people who have the expertise and discipline to turn those ideas into reality.
For The KariGhars, the team is not simply a support system behind the brand. It is an integral part of the design philosophy itself.
