ईरान इंटरनेशनल की एक रिपोर्ट में दावा किया गया है कि सुप्रीम लीडर अयातुल्लाह अली खामेनेई के दूसरे बेटे मोजतबा खामेनेई को उनके उत्तराधिकारी के तौर पर चुना गया है।बताया जा रहा है कि यह फैसला 26 सितंबर को हुई एक सीक्रेट बैठक में लिया गया। दरअसल, वर्तमान में अयातुल्लाह अली खामेनेई की उम्र 85 वर्ष है। वह लंबे समय से गंभीर स्वास्थ्य चुनौतियों का सामना कर रहहे हैं। ऐसे में वह ईरान के सर्वोच्च नेता का पद छोड़ने की योजना बना रहे हैं, ताकि मोजतबा उनके जीवनकाल में ही देश का नेतृत्व संभाल सकें।

सर्वसम्मति से नेता चुने गए मोजतबा

इजराइली मीडिया आउटलेट वाईनेट न्यूज ने ईरान इंटरनेशनल की एक रिपोर्ट का हवाला देते हुए बताया कि ईरान के सुप्रीम लीडर अली खामेनेई के दूसरे बेटे मोजतबा खामेनेई को एक गुप्त बैठक के दौरान कथित तौर पर उनके पिता के उत्तराधिकारी के रूप में चुना गया है। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, 26 सितंबर को सर्वोच्च नेता अली खामेनेई के अनुरोध पर ईरान के विशेषज्ञों की सभा के 60 सदस्यों की बैठक बुलाई गई थी, जिन्होंने उन्हें अपने उत्तराधिकार के संबंध में तत्काल और गोपनीय निर्णय लेने का निर्देश दिया था। सर्वसम्मति से, सभा ने खामेनेई के बेटे मोजतबा को उनके उत्तराधिकारी के रूप में चुना।

सार्वजनिक विरोध से बचने के लिए गुप्त बैठक

ईरान इंटरनेशनल की रिपोर्ट बताती है कि सार्वजनिक विरोध से बचने के लिए इस फैसले को गुप्त रखा गया था। इसमें कहा गया है, व्यापक सार्वजनिक विरोध के डर से विधानसभा ने निर्णय पर अधिकतम गोपनीयता बनाए रखने का संकल्प लिया और सदस्यों को किसी भी लीक के लिए गंभीर परिणामों की चेतावनी दी गई थी।

परिणाम भुगतने की चेतावनी दी गई थी

ऐसा माना जा रहा है कि अलोकतांत्रिक प्रक्रिया के खिलाफ संभावित सार्वजनिक प्रतिक्रिया के डर ने इन चरम उपायों को लागू किया गया। बैठक के बारे में कोई भी जानकारी लीक होने पर विधानसभा सदस्यों को गंभीर परिणाम भुगतने की चेतावनी दी गई थी।

Khabar kolkata sports Desk: Riding on a brilliant performance by the bowlers, Bengal outclassed Madhya Pradesh by 11 runs in the Elite Group C match to register their first victory of the Ranji Trophy season on Saturday. 

Bengal, who bagged six points from the win, currently have 14 points from five games. 

Chasing 338 to win on the fourth and final day, Madhya Pradesh were bowled out for 326. Shahbaz Ahmed (4-48), Mohammad Shami (3-102), Rohit Kumar (2-47) and Md Kaif (1-50) were superb with the ball for Bengal. 

Earlier, after posting 228 in their first innings, Bengal bundled out MP for 167. In their second innings, Bengal scored 276 to hand a challenging target to the home side.

Shahbaz was awarded the player of the match for his all-round performance. 

Bengal will next face Haryana, followed by Punjab at home in their final two group-stage matches.

Khabar kolkata sports Desk: India star pacer Mohammad Shami made a remarkable return to competitive cricket for Bengal while all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed played a fighting knock of 92 against Madhya Pradesh on Day 1 in the Ranji Trophy Elite Group C match in Indore on Wednesday.

Shami, who was out of competitive action since India’s ODI World Cup final in Ahmedabad last November, bowled 10 overs including a maiden while giving away 34 runs.

While other Bengal batters found the going tough, Shahbaz hit 16 fours and 1 six in his 80-ball innings while skipper Anustup Majumdar (44) also impressed as Bengal scored 228 in their first innings.

For MP, Aryan Pandey and Kulwant Khejroliya bagged four wickets each.

In reply, MP, were 103/1 at stumps on the opening day. Md Kaif bagged the only wicket for Bengal. Rohit Kumar, who made his debut for Bengal, received his cap from Shami.

*Mayor's Cup off to a colourful start at the Eden Gardens today*

Khabar kolkata Sports Desk: The Mayor's Cup 2024-25, jointly organised by CAB & KMC in association with KKR, featuring students from 64 schools got off to a colourful start at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday, with CAB President Snehasish Ganguly sharing inspirational words and advice to all the participating teams in the tournament.

Also present for the inauguration was MMIC KMC Mr Debasish Kumar. Before the inaugural match, CAB President Ganguly felicitated Mr Kumar.

It was followed by CAB School Committee Chairman Sanjay Das felicitating CAB President Mr Ganguly. CAB Vice President Amalendu Biswas was felicitated by CAB School Committee member Koushik Mukherjee. CAB Hony Joint Secretary Debabrata Das was felicitated by CAB School Committee member Deep Chatterjee, while KKR representative Himanish Bhattacharjee was felicitated by CAB Medical Committee Chairman Pradip Kr Dey. The inauguration was well conducted by CAB Observers Committee Chairman Srimanta Kumar Mallick. Also present were Chairman of different CAB committees.

As all the captains of the participating teams stood with placards of their school names, the toss took place between St Johns Public School and Patha Bhavan. It was followed by the national anthem in front of the CAB Club House and special KKR merchandise caps were handed over to all the players. St Johns Public School won the toss and elected to bat.

Talking about the meet, Mr Ganguly said: "First of all, I would like to thank Mr Debasish Kumar for his presence here. I also thank KKR and KMC for their support. Through this tournament, I feel the next generation cricketers of India and Bengal will come forward."

"From this tournament, we had shortlisted a group of U-13 players who took part in a Vision camp. A lot of talents have come forward because of this tournament. I hope this year, too, this will be a success," Mr Ganguly added.

Mr. Kumar said, "At first, I would like to thank CAB for organizing a cricket tournament at the school level. I hope this tournament can produce more and more cricketers for the future. I also congratulate KKR for their support. I wish all the matches a success."

A total of 111 matches will be played in the tournament at different venues across the city. A total of 16 groups comprising 4 teams in each group will fight it out for the title. A total of 96 matches will be played in the group stage with 15 knockout matches.

The semifinals and final will be a two-day affair.

ईरान इंटरनेशनल की एक रिपोर्ट में दावा किया गया है कि सुप्रीम लीडर अयातुल्लाह अली खामेनेई के दूसरे बेटे मोजतबा खामेनेई को उनके उत्तराधिकारी के तौर पर चुना गया है।बताया जा रहा है कि यह फैसला 26 सितंबर को हुई एक सीक्रेट बैठक में लिया गया। दरअसल, वर्तमान में अयातुल्लाह अली खामेनेई की उम्र 85 वर्ष है। वह लंबे समय से गंभीर स्वास्थ्य चुनौतियों का सामना कर रहहे हैं। ऐसे में वह ईरान के सर्वोच्च नेता का पद छोड़ने की योजना बना रहे हैं, ताकि मोजतबा उनके जीवनकाल में ही देश का नेतृत्व संभाल सकें।

सर्वसम्मति से नेता चुने गए मोजतबा

इजराइली मीडिया आउटलेट वाईनेट न्यूज ने ईरान इंटरनेशनल की एक रिपोर्ट का हवाला देते हुए बताया कि ईरान के सुप्रीम लीडर अली खामेनेई के दूसरे बेटे मोजतबा खामेनेई को एक गुप्त बैठक के दौरान कथित तौर पर उनके पिता के उत्तराधिकारी के रूप में चुना गया है। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, 26 सितंबर को सर्वोच्च नेता अली खामेनेई के अनुरोध पर ईरान के विशेषज्ञों की सभा के 60 सदस्यों की बैठक बुलाई गई थी, जिन्होंने उन्हें अपने उत्तराधिकार के संबंध में तत्काल और गोपनीय निर्णय लेने का निर्देश दिया था। सर्वसम्मति से, सभा ने खामेनेई के बेटे मोजतबा को उनके उत्तराधिकारी के रूप में चुना।

सार्वजनिक विरोध से बचने के लिए गुप्त बैठक

ईरान इंटरनेशनल की रिपोर्ट बताती है कि सार्वजनिक विरोध से बचने के लिए इस फैसले को गुप्त रखा गया था। इसमें कहा गया है, व्यापक सार्वजनिक विरोध के डर से विधानसभा ने निर्णय पर अधिकतम गोपनीयता बनाए रखने का संकल्प लिया और सदस्यों को किसी भी लीक के लिए गंभीर परिणामों की चेतावनी दी गई थी।

परिणाम भुगतने की चेतावनी दी गई थी

ऐसा माना जा रहा है कि अलोकतांत्रिक प्रक्रिया के खिलाफ संभावित सार्वजनिक प्रतिक्रिया के डर ने इन चरम उपायों को लागू किया गया। बैठक के बारे में कोई भी जानकारी लीक होने पर विधानसभा सदस्यों को गंभीर परिणाम भुगतने की चेतावनी दी गई थी।

*Bowlers help Bengal script stunning win vs MP in Ranji Trophy*

Khabar kolkata sports Desk: Riding on a brilliant performance by the bowlers, Bengal outclassed Madhya Pradesh by 11 runs in the Elite Group C match to register their first victory of the Ranji Trophy season on Saturday. 

Bengal, who bagged six points from the win, currently have 14 points from five games. 

Chasing 338 to win on the fourth and final day, Madhya Pradesh were bowled out for 326. Shahbaz Ahmed (4-48), Mohammad Shami (3-102), Rohit Kumar (2-47) and Md Kaif (1-50) were superb with the ball for Bengal. 

Earlier, after posting 228 in their first innings, Bengal bundled out MP for 167. In their second innings, Bengal scored 276 to hand a challenging target to the home side.

Shahbaz was awarded the player of the match for his all-round performance. 

Bengal will next face Haryana, followed by Punjab at home in their final two group-stage matches.

Khabar kolkata sports Desk: India star pacer Mohammad Shami made a remarkable return to competitive cricket for Bengal while all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed played a fighting knock of 92 against Madhya Pradesh on Day 1 in the Ranji Trophy Elite Group C match in Indore on Wednesday.

Shami, who was out of competitive action since India’s ODI World Cup final in Ahmedabad last November, bowled 10 overs including a maiden while giving away 34 runs.

While other Bengal batters found the going tough, Shahbaz hit 16 fours and 1 six in his 80-ball innings while skipper Anustup Majumdar (44) also impressed as Bengal scored 228 in their first innings.

For MP, Aryan Pandey and Kulwant Khejroliya bagged four wickets each.

In reply, MP, were 103/1 at stumps on the opening day. Md Kaif bagged the only wicket for Bengal. Rohit Kumar, who made his debut for Bengal, received his cap from Shami.

*Mayor's Cup off to a colourful start at the Eden Gardens today*

Khabar kolkata Sports Desk: The Mayor's Cup 2024-25, jointly organised by CAB & KMC in association with KKR, featuring students from 64 schools got off to a colourful start at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday, with CAB President Snehasish Ganguly sharing inspirational words and advice to all the participating teams in the tournament.

Also present for the inauguration was MMIC KMC Mr Debasish Kumar. Before the inaugural match, CAB President Ganguly felicitated Mr Kumar.

It was followed by CAB School Committee Chairman Sanjay Das felicitating CAB President Mr Ganguly. CAB Vice President Amalendu Biswas was felicitated by CAB School Committee member Koushik Mukherjee. CAB Hony Joint Secretary Debabrata Das was felicitated by CAB School Committee member Deep Chatterjee, while KKR representative Himanish Bhattacharjee was felicitated by CAB Medical Committee Chairman Pradip Kr Dey. The inauguration was well conducted by CAB Observers Committee Chairman Srimanta Kumar Mallick. Also present were Chairman of different CAB committees.

As all the captains of the participating teams stood with placards of their school names, the toss took place between St Johns Public School and Patha Bhavan. It was followed by the national anthem in front of the CAB Club House and special KKR merchandise caps were handed over to all the players. St Johns Public School won the toss and elected to bat.

Talking about the meet, Mr Ganguly said: "First of all, I would like to thank Mr Debasish Kumar for his presence here. I also thank KKR and KMC for their support. Through this tournament, I feel the next generation cricketers of India and Bengal will come forward."

"From this tournament, we had shortlisted a group of U-13 players who took part in a Vision camp. A lot of talents have come forward because of this tournament. I hope this year, too, this will be a success," Mr Ganguly added.

Mr. Kumar said, "At first, I would like to thank CAB for organizing a cricket tournament at the school level. I hope this tournament can produce more and more cricketers for the future. I also congratulate KKR for their support. I wish all the matches a success."

A total of 111 matches will be played in the tournament at different venues across the city. A total of 16 groups comprising 4 teams in each group will fight it out for the title. A total of 96 matches will be played in the group stage with 15 knockout matches.

The semifinals and final will be a two-day affair.
