মালদহের লোকসভা নির্বাচনে  দুটি আসনে তৃণমূলের ফল খারাপ ফলের জন্য তৃণমূল নেতাদের দায়ী করলেন রাজ্যসভার তৃণমূল সাংসদ মৌসম নূর


 
 
  এসবি নিউজ ব্যুরো: মালদহের লোকসভা নির্বাচনে দুটি আসনে তৃণমূলের ফল খারাপ হয়েছে। এই ফল খারাপের জন্য স্থানীয় তৃণমূল নেতাদেরকেই দায়ী করলেন রাজ্যসভার তৃণমূল সাংসদ মৌসম নূর। সারা রাজ্যে তৃণমূলের ভাল ফল হলেও মালদা জেলার দুটি আসনে তৃণমূল জয় পায়নি। এবার এই দুইটি আসনকে পাখির চোখ করে জেলায় বারবার সভা ও রোড শো করেছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ও তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের সর্বভারতীয় সাধারণ সম্পাদক অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। এরপরেও দক্ষিণ মালদা লোকসভা কেন্দ্রে জিতেছে কংগ্রেস। তৃণমূল তৃতীয় নম্বরে। অন্যদিকে, উত্তর মালদা লোকসভা কেন্দ্রে জয়ী হয় বিজেপি প্রার্থী। এই আসনে দ্বিতীয় স্থানে রয়েছে তৃণমূল। ভোট গণনার শেষে কেন দলের এই অবস্থা তা নিয়ে পর্যালোচনা করেন স্থানীয় তৃণমূল নেতৃত্বে। এরপরই সংবাদ মাধ্যমের সামনে মুখ খুললেন সাংসদ মৌসুম নূর। কেন মালদায় দুটি আসন জিততে পারল না তৃণমূল তা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন করা হলে মৌসুম নূর জানান, "এর জন্য দায়ী জেলা তৃণমূল নেতৃত্ব। ২০১৯ সালে তিনি জেলা সভানেত্রী ছিলেন। সেই সময় ভালো ফল হয়েছিল তৃণমূলের। মালদা জেলা পরিষদ, দুটি পৌরসভা, গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত, পঞ্চায়েত সমিতি সমস্তটাই তৃণমূলের দখলে ছিল। তারপরেও ফল খারাপ? প্রার্থী বাছাই নিয়ে সাধারণ মানুষের ক্ষোভ ছিল। বহিরাগত প্রার্থীদের মেনে নিতে পারেননি সাধারণ মানুষ। রাজ্যজুড়ে তৃণমূলের ভালো ফল হয়েছে। মালদা জেলার দুটি আসন দখল করতে পারেনি তৃণমূল। কোথায় খামতি রয়েছে সমস্তটাই জানানো হবে রাজ্য নেতৃত্বদের। আগামী নির্বাচনগুলিতে যাতে তৃণমূলের ভালো ফল হয় সেই লক্ষ্যে এগোবে জেলা তৃণমূল"। তবে জেলায় তৃণমূলের ভরাডুবির জন্য তিনি জেলা নেতৃত্বকেই কাঠগড়ায় দাঁড় করিয়েছেন।

এসবি নিউজ ব্যুরো:মেদিনীপুর লোকসভা কেন্দ্রটি বরাবর বিজেপির শক্ত ঘাঁটি ছিল।২০১৯ এর লোকসভা নির্বাচনে তৎকালীন বিজেপির রাজ্য সভাপতি দিলীপ ঘোষ জয়লাভ করে তা প্রমাণ করে দিয়েছিলেন। এই লোকসভা কেন্দ্রের অন্তর্গত মেদিনীপুর বিধানসভা ও খড়গপুর বিধানসভা সবথেকে বেশি ব্যবধান দিয়েছিল ২০১৯ এ। সব মিলিয়ে ৮৭ হাজার এর ব্যবধান ছিল মেদিনীপুর লোকসভা কেন্দ্রে। তাকে ছাড়িয়ে ২৯ হাজার ভোটে এবার জয়ী হয়েছেন তৃণমূল প্রার্থী জুন মালিয়া। নিজেদের শক্তঘাঁটিতে বিপুল হারের পর টানা দুদিন ধরে পর্যালোচনা করে বিজেপি প্রার্থী অগ্নিমিত্রা পালের উপলব্ধি," লক্ষী ভান্ডারই আমাদের হারের পেছনে বড় কারণ"। নির্বাচনের ফল ঘোষণা হওয়ার পরেই পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে বহু বিজেপি কর্মী আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন বলে দাবি বিজেপির। বিভিন্ন হুমকি আসছে বিজেপি কর্মীদের উপর।এর ই মধ্যেই আক্রান্ত হয়ে অন্তত ৩৫ জন মেদিনীপুর শহরে বিজেপি জেলা কার্যালয়ে আশ্রয় নিয়েছেন বলে দাবি করেছেন অগ্নিমিত্র পাল। বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে কর্মীদের সঙ্গে কথা বলার জন্য হাজির হয়েছিলেন অগ্নিমিত্রা জেলা কার্যালয়ে। সকলের সঙ্গে কথা বলে আশ্বাস দেন নিরাপত্তার ও বাড়ি ফিরিয়ে দেওয়ার। এই প্রসঙ্গে তিনি বলেন," আমার খুব কাছের বন্ধু জয়ী হয়েছেন। ২০২১ এও তিনি যখন বিধানসভায় জয়ী হয়েছিলেন আবেদন ছিল এই ধরনের আক্রমণ যাতে না হয়। কিন্তু রক্ষা হয়নি। এবারও পরাজিত হওয়ার পর খড়গপুরেই সংবাদ মাধ্যম দিয়ে আবেদন করেছিলাম কেউ যাতে আক্রান্ত না হয়। কিন্তু কোন লাভ হয়নি। সুতরাং এবার আমাদের কর্মীদের রক্ষা আমরাই করব।" সেই সঙ্গে পরাজয়ের কারণ আত্মবিশ্লেষণ করেছেন দুদিন ধরে। তারপর তিনি জানান-"আমাদের পরাজয়ের অন্যতম কারণ লক্ষ্মী ভান্ডার। জানিনা বাংলার মা বোনেদের কাছে তাদের পরিবারের আত্মসম্মান সন্দেশখালি নারী নির্যাতনের থেকে লক্ষ্মী ভান্ডার এত প্রিয় হল কিভাবে ।যাই হোক সেটা হয়েছে। তবে মেদিনীপুর একজন ভালো সাংসদকে হারালো। ভেবেছিলাম আমি জয়ী হয়ে এইমস্ ধাঁচের একটা হাসপাতাল বানাবো এখানে। কিছু ইন্ড্রাস্ট্রি আনবো। কিন্তু যেহেতু সংসদ হতে পারলাম না সেটা নিয়ে আসার ক্ষমতা ততখানি আমার নেই।"

শিলিগুড়ি পুরনিগমের মেয়র পারিষদের ভাইজির ঝুলন্ত দেহ উদ্ধার ঘিরে চাঞ্চল্য এলাকায়


 
 
  
  
এসবি নিউজ ব্যুরো: শিলিগুড়ি সংহতি মোড় এলাকায় ঘর থেকে উদ্ধার হল শিলিগুড়ি পুরনিগমের স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের মেয়র পারিষদ দুলাল দত্তের ভাইজির ঝুলন্ত দেহ। এই ঘটনায় ব্যাপক চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়েছে গোটা এলাকায়। মৃতার নাম কেয়া দত্ত(২৬)। তিনি পেশায় আইনজীবী ছিলেন। শিলিগুড়ি আদালতে কর্মরত ছিলেন। জানা গিয়েছে শিলিগুড়ির সংহতি মোড় এলাকায় একটি ফ্ল্যাটে তার মায়ের সঙ্গে‌ থাকতেন তিনি। গতকাল রাতে পরিবারের সদস্যদের সঙ্গে খাওয়া-দাওয়া করে সে নিজের ঘরে ঘুমোতে যান। এরপর তার মা ডাকতে গেলে কোন সারা শব্দ না মেলায় সন্দেহ হয়। পরিবারের সদস্য ও স্থানীয়রা মিলে ঘরের দরজা ভেঙে দেখতে পান ঝুলন্ত অবস্থায় রয়েছেন।তারপরেই তাকে উদ্ধার করে শিলিগুড়ি জেলা হাসপাতালে নিয়ে গেলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসকেরা তাকে মৃত বলে ঘোষণা করে। এরপরই এই ঘটনা খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছায় পুলিশ। পুলিশ গিয়ে মৃতদেহটি ময়না তদন্তের জন্য উত্তরবঙ্গ মেডিকেল কলেজে হাসপাতালে পাঠিয়েছে। এই বিষয়ে মেয়র পারিষদ দুলাল দত্ত জানিয়েছেন ,"কেয়া খুব শান্ত স্বভাবের  মেয়ে ছিল।তবে কি কারণে এই ঘটনা ঘটাল তা কারোর জানা নেই। তবে পরিবারে কোন সমস্যা ছিল না।" ইতিমধ্যে গোটা ঘটনার তদন্ত নেমেছে শিলিগুড়ি মেট্রোপলিটন পুলিশের আশিঘর ফাঁড়ির পুলিশ।ঘটনায় শোকের ছায়া  গোটা এলাকায়।

যুবকের মৃত্যু ঘিরে ধুন্ধুমার কান্ড ব্যারাকপুর বিএনবসু মহকুমা হাসপাতালে


 
 
  প্রবীর রায়: যুবকের মৃত্যু ঘিরে ধুন্ধুমার কান্ড ঘটে গেল ব্যারাকপুর বি এন বসু হাসপাতালে। শুক্রবার সকালে শিয়ালদহ মেইন শাখায় টিটাগড় ও খড়দহ স্টেশনের মাঝে ভিড়ের চাপে ট্রেন থেকে পড়ে জখম হন এক যুবক। টিটাগড়ের ১০ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের পুরানিবাজার এলাকার বাসিন্দা মহম্মদ আলি হাসান আনসারী (২২) নামে ওই যুবককে আনা হয় ব্যারাকপুর বি এন বসু হাসপাতালে। সেখানেই তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়। 
  
  
অভিযোগ, চিকিৎসায় গাফিলতির কারনে ওই যুবকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। চিকিৎসায় গাফিলতির অভিযোগ তুলে মৃতের পরিবারের সদস্যরা ও পড়শিরা   হাসপাতালের এমার্জেন্সি বিভাগে ভাঙচুর চালায়। টিটাগড় থানার পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে তপ্ত পরিস্থিতির সামাল দেয়।  যদিও হাসপাতাল সুপার ডঃ অমিতাভ ভট্টাচার্য হাসপাতালের গাফিলতির অভিযোগ মানতে নারাজ।।

Khabar kolkata:  India's hopes for qualifying for the third round of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup 2027 Preliminary Joint Qualification took a hit as they were held 0-0 by Kuwait in their penultimate Group A game at the Salt Lake Yubo bharati Stadium on Thursday.
  

  
In what was Sunil Chhetri's 151st and last dance in Indian colours, victory may have eluded him at the full-time whistle, but emotions couldn't. After a lap around the 58,921 fans at the Salt Lake Stadium, the captain, leader, legend, let out his farewell tears when the Indian players and team officials gave him a guard of honour to the tunnel. In a warm gesture, each one of Kuwait's players and officials also paid their respects with handshakes and hugs with the Indian skipper.
  

  
As far as the match is concerned, it was far from a drab affair, with a host of chances at both ends, particularly in the first half. But some top-notch defending and fine saves reduced the contest to a goalless one.
  

  
Igor Stimac handed out a full India debut to left-back Jay Gupta, while Edmund Lalrindika came on in the last seven minutes in Gupta's place to make his debut too.
  

  
With the draw, India remain in second place with five points (Qatar will play Afghanistan later in the day), but importantly for Kuwait, they stay alive with four points. India will now hope for Qatar's victory over Afghanistan, and a draw between Kuwait and Afghanistan on June 11. In that scenario, a point for India against Qatar in five days' time in Doha will be enough to progress to the third round.
  

  
Kuwait made the earliest inroad in the fifth minute when left-winger Mohammad Abdulah shouldered his way into the box and came one-on-one with Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, but the Indian custodian stood strong, sticking his leg out to make a vital save early on.
  

  
India also responded with frantic pace on the left courtesy of Liston Colaco, who raced his way past the Kuwait right-back and put in a low cross, but Hasan Alanezi stabbed the ball clear for the visitors. India had their first shot from the resulting Anirudh Thapa corner, with an unmarked Anwar Ali heading it inches over the bar.
  

  
In the 25th minute, both teams had their heart-in-the-mouth moments in the space of a few seconds. First, it was Eid Alrashidi breaking the offside trap to stray clear on goal before dinking the ball over an onrushing Gurpreet. It landed just wide of the goal net. Immediately after, Jay Gupta burst forward and put an inviting low cross from the left. But Alanezi was on hand again to clear the danger for Kuwait at full stretch.
  

  
Slowly and steadily, India grew in confidence and began stringing attacks patiently, mostly utilising the speed of their wingers. Lallianzuala Chhangte got the better of left-back Meshari Alenezi on a couple of occasions and swung in dangerous crosses from the right, but Kuwait actively hacked them clear. Stimac's men were quicker to the second balls as well, winning the ball in the final third and making Kuwait sweat at the back.
  

  
On a couple of occasions, Liston also tried his luck from distance, first smashing the side-netting, before skying it wayward from an audacious 40-yard attempt.
  

  
At half-time, Stimac made two changes, sacrificing midfielder Thapa to bring on striker Rahim Ali, while Brandon Fernandes replaced Sahal Abdul Samad in the middle.
  

  
The start to the second half was as wild as the first. Both goalkeepers were tested to the fullest in and came out on top. Faisal Alharbi's stinging volley from barely six yards out was met with a stunning reflex save from Gurpreet, who dipped his entire 196-centimetre figure to palm it out. A few minutes later, he had to stretch to the top corner to push out Yousef Alsulaiman's effort.
  

  
Sandwiched between Gurpreet's heroics was Sulaiman Abdulghafoor's one-on-one save for Kuwait. He made himself big to deny Rahim, who had latched on to a great through ball.
  

  
India struggled to maintain their first-half intensity and the tempo shifted towards Kuwait for a while. Substitute Ali Matar got plenty of space near the edge of the box, but he hesitated to shoot early and by the time he did, Rahul Bheke had thrown his body to make a solid block.
  

  
For those in blue, time seemed to pass quicker as they were left frustrated by Kuwait slowing down the tempo of the game.
  

  
The Blue Tigers sprang to some life in injury time, but it was not enough. Brandon Fernandes flashed a low ball across the face of the goal, but it was Alenezi once again to clear the danger for Kuwait for the umpteenth time on the night. Seconds later, Chhangte picked out Manvir with an inch-perfect cross but the latter nodded it wide of the near post.

দুষ্কৃতীমূলক কাজকর্ম রুখতে মালদহ জেলা পুলিশের কড়া পদক্ষেপ


 
 
  এসবি নিউজ ব্যুরো: দুষ্কৃতীমূলক কাজকর্ম রুখতে এবং অপরাধ দমনে কড়া পদক্ষেপ নিল মালদহ জেলা পুলিশ। মালদহ শহরের প্রতিটি মূল প্রবেশদ্বারের রাস্তার মোড়ে বসানো হল নাকা চেকিং পয়েন্ট। পরবর্তীতে এইসব নাকা চেকিং পয়েন্টে বসানো হবে সিসি ক্যামেরা। এই নাকা চেকিং পয়েন্ট গুলোতে একজন এএসআই পদমর্যাদার পুলিশ অফিসার তার সাথে বেশ কয়েকজন সিভিক ভলেন্টিয়ার ও পুলিশ কর্মী নজরদারিতে যুক্ত থাকবেন। 
  

  
মালদহ শহরের ঢোকার ক্ষেত্রে যেগুলোই মূল রাস্তা রয়েছে সেইসব জায়গাগুলিকে বেছে নিয়েই এই নাকা চেকিং পয়েন্ট তৈরি করেছে জেলা পুলিশ। এরফলে সন্দেহজনক গতিবিধির যে কোনো যানবাহন অথবা মানুষদের দাঁড় করিয়ে তদারকি চালাতে পারবে কর্তব্যরত পুলিশ অফিসার ও কর্মীরা । জেলা পুলিশের এই পদক্ষেপকে সাধুবাদ জানিয়েছে মালদহের ব্যবসায়ী মহল থেকে শুরু করে সাধারণ মানুষ। 
  

  
পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, মালদহ শহরের প্রবেশের অন্যতম রাস্তা মহানন্দার দ্বিতীয় সেতু বালুচর রোড, প্রতিদিনই অসংখ্য যানবাহন এবং বিপুল পরিমাণ মানুষ এই মহানন্দার নদীর দ্বিতীয় সেতু দিয়ে যাতায়াত করে। এই সেতুর ওঠার মুখেই বসানো হয়েছে নাকা চেকিং পয়েন্ট । 
  

  

  
পাশাপাশি, রবীন্দ্র ভবন, মঙ্গলবাড়ি  যাওয়ার মুখে মহানন্দার প্রথম সেতু,সুস্তানী মোড় একইভাবে এই নাকা চেকিং পয়েন্ট বসিয়েছে জেলা পুলিশ। ২৪ ঘন্টা এই নাকা চেকিং থেকেই পুলিশ অফিসার ও কর্মীরা নিয়মিত গাড়ীর গতিবিধির ওপর নজরদারি চালাবে।কোথাও কোনো সন্দেহভাজন মনে হলে সেই গাড়িকে দাঁড় করিয়ে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করতে পারে কর্তব্যরত পুলিশ অফিসার ও কর্তব্যরত সিভিক পুলিশ।

Khabar kolkata News bureau:At the end of Sunil Chhetri's penultimate training session of his 19-year international career for India, he quietly picked up a ball, delicately placed it on the penalty spot and signalled Vishal Kaith to take his place between the sticks. As he's done at the end of every training session, he wanted to take a few attempts from 12 yards out before wrapping up for the day.
  

  
Chhetri shot four and scored all four of them. A slight grin appeared on his face after every shot. It wasn't just the joy of a successful strike, but of living every last moment of his national team career to the fullest. When the captain announced his retirement, for everyone else, everything became about June 6. But for Chhetri, it was about every single training session leading up to the big day. Every drop of sweat, every stride in his run, every swing of his boot attempting to score every shot in every practice session.
  

  
But on June 6, the captain wants it to be all about India. His life has been all about football. After the lights of the Salt Lake Stadium dim on Thursday night, he won't be part of the game for his country on the pitch, but will become another one of the billion-and-a-half fans of the national team. The 90 minutes before that could change Indian football completely. And perhaps fate had it that they would be Chhetri's last 90 minutes too. But there's nothing more the legend wants than bidding adieu to the sacred blue jersey, one which absorbed all of his sweat for nearly two decades, with all three points, which could potentially propel India to the third round. All he wishes for the post-Chhetri Indian team is to see them rub shoulders with Asia's elite.
  

  
"I've been fighting a small battle every day. Don't ask me how I feel (about retirement). Because I don't want to address it. We really need to win tomorrow. Once we win this game, it gives us a great chance to go to the third round, which we have never been to. One thing we know for sure is that this is not going to be easy. And one thing we are very happy about is that we're playing in Kolkata. We'll have tremendous support," said Chhetri.
  

  
The fan life will be different, but it's something the 39-year-old has already visualised.
  

  
"I'll be there wearing a nice suit, coming to watch all our boys play. That's the dream. We win tomorrow, hopefully, and we'll be almost qualified. It's not 100% guaranteed. There are some permutations and combinations, but we'll qualify. There will be 10 top games against the best in Asia, home and away. We'll go and watch the games. I get free tickets so I can enjoy it. That's the whole plan but again, this is only after the hard work that we put in tomorrow. Every day when I talk to the boys I keep telling them this. Hopefully, everything goes according to plan and I can go and watch them (in the third round). Just imagine playing against Japan and Australia in the third round.
