ईरान और इजरायल के बीच चल रहा युद्ध अब 19वें दिन में पहुंच गया है और संकट और भी ज्यादा गहरा गया है। ईरान-अमेरिका युद्ध के 18वें दिन इजरायल ने तेहरान में जो कार्रवाई की, उसमें ईरान के दो सबसे वरिष्ठ लीडर भी मारे गए। ईरान के सुरक्षा प्रमुख और खामेनेई के करीबी अली लारिजानी और बसीज बलों के कमांडर गुलारजा सुलेमानी इजरायली हवाई हमले में मारे गए हैं।

  

ईरान की सुप्रीम नेशनल सिक्योरिटी काउंसिल ने मंगलवार को अली लारीजानी की मौत की पुष्टि कर दी है। लारीजानी सिक्योरिटी काउंसिल के सचिव थे और कहा जाता था कि पूर्व सुप्रीम लीडर अली खामेनेई के मारे जाने के बाद पर्दे के पीछे से वही ईरान को चला रहे थे। इसके पहले इजरायल ने कहा था कि उसने अली लारीजानी को एक हमले में मार दिया है।

खामेनेई की मौत के बाद थी अहम भूमिका
लारीजानी को ईरान के सबसे ताकतवर शख्स माना जाता है, खासकर सुप्रीम लीडर अयातुल्ला अली खामेनेई की मौत के बाद उनकी भूमिका और महत्वपूर्ण हो गई थी। लारीजानी पूर्व में संसद अध्यक्ष और वरिष्ठ नीति सलाहकार भी रह चुके थे। परमाणु वार्ता में भी उनकी भूमिका रही थी। जनरल सुलेमानी पर अमेरिका, यूरोपीय संघ और अन्य देशों द्वारा प्रतिबंध लगाए गए थे, क्योंकि उन पर वर्षों से विरोध प्रदर्शनों को दबाने में भूमिका निभाने का आरोप था।

अली लारीजानी के साथ उनके बेटे की भी मौत
ईरान के सरकारी टीवी और सुरक्षा परिषद के अनुसार अली लारीजानी की उनके बेटे मोर्तेजा और एक सहयोगी के साथ हत्या कर दी गई। ईरान के कई नेताओं ने इस हत्या की निंदा की है। विदेश मंत्री अब्बास अरागची ने कहा कि इससे सिस्टम पर कोई असर नहीं पड़ेगा, क्योंकि यह संस्थाओं पर आधारित है। अब सभी की नजर इस बात पर है कि लारिजानी की जगह कौन लेगा, क्या सईद जलीली या फिर नए सर्वोच्च नेता मोजतबा खामेनेई कोई नई नियुक्ति करेंगे।

इजरायल ने किया मारे जाने का दावा
इजरायल के रक्षा मंत्री इजरायल काट्ज ने सबसे पहले लारीजानी के मारे जाने का ऐलान किया था। इजरायली सेना ने बताया कि सोमवार देर रात हुए हवाई हमले में अली लारीजानी और ईरान की एलीट बासिज फोर्स के कमांडर को मार दिया गया। मंगलवार शाम के इजरायली प्रधानमंत्री नेतन्याहू ने भी लारीजानी के मारे जाने घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि इन हमलों का मकसद ईरान के नेतृत्व कमजोर करना था, ताकि ईरानी लोगों को उसे हटाने का मौका मिल सके।

गुलाम रज़ा सुलेमानी की भी मौत

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने शराब नीति मामले में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल और पूर्व डिप्टी सीएम मनीष सिसोदिया से जवाब मांगा है। सीबीआई की याचिका पर ये जवाब मांगा गया है। हाई कोर्ट ने केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया समेत 23 अन्य लोगों को अधीनस्थ अदालत की ओर से आरोप मुक्त किये जाने के खिलाफ सीबीआई की याचिका पर सोमवार को आरोपियों से उनका पक्ष बताने को कहा।

  

सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने रखी दलीलें
दिल्ली शराब घोटाला केस की सुनवाई दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में जस्टिस स्वर्ण कांता शर्मा की बेंच के सामने हुई। जस्टिस स्वर्ण कांता शर्मा ने राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट को इस मामले से जुड़े मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग केस की सुनवाई तब तक टालने का भी निर्देश दिया, जब तक कि ट्रायल कोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ सीबीआई की याचिका पर फैसला नहीं कर लिया जाता।

सॉलीसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने क्या तर्क दिया?
इस दौरान सीबीआई की ओर से सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने दलीलें रखीं। मेहता ने तर्क दिया कि आबकारी नीति मामले में अरविंद केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया को आरोप मुक्त करने का निचली अदालत का आदेश अनुचित था और आपराधिक कानून को ही उलट देता है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि शराब नीति का मामला सबसे बड़े घोटालों में से एक था और भ्रष्टाचार का स्पष्ट उदाहरण था। मेहता ने दावा किया कि निचली अदालत ने केजरीवाल, सिसोदिया और अन्य के पक्ष में बिना सुनवाई के आरोप मुक्त करने का आदेश सुना दिया।

16 मार्च को अगली सुनवाई
वहीं, दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने शराब नीति मामले में दिल्ली के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल, पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया और 21 अन्य लोगों को ट्रायल कोर्ट द्वारा आरोप मुक्त किये जाने के विरूद्ध सीबीआई की याचिका पर सोमवार को आरोपियों से उनका पक्ष बताने को कहा। याचिका पर सुनवाई के लिए अगली तारीख 16 मार्च तय की।

राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट ने सभी आरोपियों को किया था बरी
बता दें कि राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट ने 27 फरवरी को अरविंद केजरीवाल और मनीष सिसोदिया को आबकारी नीति मामले में 23 अन्य लोगों के साथ बरी कर दिया था। केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया को महीनों जेल में रहने के बाद बरी कर दिया गया था। कोर्ट से बरी होने पर आम आदमी पार्टी और इंडिया गठबंधन ने बीजेपी पर राजनीतिक लाभ के लिए केंद्रीय एजेंसियों के इस्तेमाल करने का आरोप लगाया था। अरविंद केजरीवाल का आरोप था कि दिल्ली में सरकार बनाने के लिए बीजेपी ने उनके खिलाफ साजिश रची थी। सीबीआई ने राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट के फैसले को चुनौती देते हुए हाईकोर्ट में याचिका दाखिल की थी।

दिल्‍ली शराब घोटाला मामले में बड़ी खबर है। शराब घोटाला मामले में आरोपी आम आदमी पार्टी के संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल और मनीष सिसोदिया को कोर्ट ने बरी कर दिया है। राउज एवेन्‍यू कोर्ट का आदेश आते ही अरविंद केजरीवाल बाहर नि‍कले और पब्‍लि‍क के सामने ही फफक-फफक कर रो पड़े।

  

अदालत ने कहा- आरोप पत्र में कई कमियां
दिल्ली की राउज एवेन्यू अदालत ने कथित आबकारी नीति घोटाले से जुड़े भ्रष्टाचार के मामले में सीबीआई की ओर से दाखिल आरोपपत्र का संज्ञान लेने से इनकार कर दिया। विशेष न्यायाधीश जितेंद्र सिंह ने कहा कि आरोप पत्र में कई ऐसी कमियां हैं जिनका सबूतों से समर्थन नहीं मिलता। उसमें लगाए गए आरोप किसी गवाह या बयान से समर्थित नहीं हैं।

कोर्ट की सीबीआई जांच पर कड़ी टिप्पणी
अदालत ने सीबीआई की जांच पर कड़ी टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा कि केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया को बिना ठोस सामग्री के मामले में आरोपित किया गया। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने मामले में आम आदमी पार्टी के दोनों नेताओं के अलावा 21 अन्य आरोपियों को भी बरी कर दिया। साथ ही और किसी के खिलाफ आरोप तय करने से इनकार कर दिया।

केजरीवाल ने कहा-मैं भ्रष्ट नहीं हूं
राउज एवेन्‍यू कोर्ट का आदेश आते ही अरविंद केजरीवाल बाहर नि‍कले और पब्‍लि‍क के सामने ही फफक-फफक कर रो पड़े। इस दौरान साथ उनके खड़े मनीष सिसोदिया उन्हें गले लगाकर ढांढस बंधाते रहे। काफी देर बाद अरविंद केजरीवाल ने रुंधे गले से कहा, ‘मैं भ्रष्ट नहीं हूं। कोर्ट ने भी कहा कि केजरीवाल और मनीष सिसोदिया ईमानदार हैं। कोर्ट ने इस मामले में सभी आरोपियों को बरी कर दिया है। हमने हमेशा कहा कि सत्य ही जीतता है। हमें भारतीय कानून पर पूरा भरोसा है’।

सिसोदिया ने कहा- सत्य की जीत
वहीं, बरी होने पर मनीष सिसोदिया ने भी इसे सत्य की जीत बताया। सिसोदिया ने कहा, ‘सत्यमेव जयते, एक बार फिर मुझे बाबा साहब अंबेडकर की दूरदर्शी सोच और उनके बनाए संविधान पर गर्व हो रहा है। मोदी जी, उनकी पूरी पार्टी और उनकी एजेंसियों के द्वारा हमें बेईमान साबित करने के लिए पूरा जोर लगाने के बावजूद आज यह साबित हो गया कि अरविंद केजरीवाल और मनीष सिसोदिया कट्टर ईमानदार हैं।’

क्या था पूरा मामला
पूरा मामला नवंबर 2021 का है, जब दिल्‍ली की नई आबकारी नीति लागू हुई, तब दावा हुआ कि राजस्व बढ़ेगा। हालांकि, उस मामले को लेकर दिल्‍ली सरकार की मुसीबतें जरूर बढ़ गईं। सालभर भी नहीं हुआ और आबकारी नीति भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों से घिर गई। बीजेपी ने आरोप लगाए थे कि शराब लाइसेंस बांटने में धांधली हुई। चुनिंदा डीलर्स को फायदा पहुंचाया गया। जुलाई 2022 आते-आते आंच इतनी तेज हो गई कि उपराज्‍यपाल ने मुख्य सचिव से रिपोर्ट मांग ली। रिपोर्ट के आधार पर केंद्रीय एजेंसियों ने जांच तेज की, जिसमें कई गिरफ्तारी भी हुई। केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया की गिरफ्तारी के साथ यह बवाल चरम पर पहुंच गया था।

Bonu Komali suicide case: हैदराबाद से एक दुखद खबर सामने आई है। 21 साल की युवा यूट्यूबर बोनू कोमाली ने कथित तौर पर आत्महत्या कर ली। मौत से कुछ घंटे पहले ही उसने कुवैत में काम कर रही अपनी मां को एक मैसेज भेजा – “आई लव यू मम्मी सो मच”।

मां को भेजा आखिरी मैसेज

सोमवार तड़के करीब 1:34 बजे कोमाली ने अपनी मां बी. सत्य वरलक्ष्मी को मैसेज किया। उसने लिखा – “आई लव यू मम्मी सो मच, छोटे भाई का अच्छे से ख्याल रखना।”
मां ने तुरंत कॉल किया, लेकिन फोन स्विच ऑफ आ रहा था। कई बार कोशिश के बाद उन्होंने कोमाली की दोस्त मनसा को इसकी जानकारी दी।

दरवाजा तोड़कर अंदर पहुंची पुलिस

दोपहर करीब 3 बजे दोस्त फ्लैट पर पहुंची, लेकिन दरवाजा अंदर से बंद था। पड़ोसियों की मदद से पुलिस को बुलाया गया। दरवाजा तोड़कर अंदर जाने पर कोमाली छत के पंखे से लटकी मिली। मौके पर ही उसकी मौत हो चुकी थी।

कोमाली मूल रूप से Visakhapatnam की रहने वाली थी। वह पिछले 11 महीनों से हैदराबाद में अकेले रहकर बीएससी की पढ़ाई कर रही थी। साथ ही यूट्यूब पर लाइफस्टाइल और पर्सनल वीडियो बनाती थी।

ब्रेकअप बना वजह?

पुलिस की शुरुआती जांच में सामने आया है कि कोमाली पिछले तीन साल से एक सॉफ्टवेयर इंजीनियर और साथी यूट्यूबर के साथ रिलेशनशिप में थी। हाल ही में दोनों का ब्रेकअप हुआ था, जिससे वह काफी परेशान थी। बताया जा रहा है कि छह महीने पहले भी उसने आत्महत्या की कोशिश की थी, लेकिन तब परिवार ने बचा लिया था।

ईरान की सुप्रीम नेशनल सिक्योरिटी काउंसिल ने मंगलवार को अली लारीजानी की मौत की पुष्टि कर दी है। लारीजानी सिक्योरिटी काउंसिल के सचिव थे और कहा जाता था कि पूर्व सुप्रीम लीडर अली खामेनेई के मारे जाने के बाद पर्दे के पीछे से वही ईरान को चला रहे थे। इसके पहले इजरायल ने कहा था कि उसने अली लारीजानी को एक हमले में मार दिया है।

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने शराब नीति मामले में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल और पूर्व डिप्टी सीएम मनीष सिसोदिया से जवाब मांगा है। सीबीआई की याचिका पर ये जवाब मांगा गया है। हाई कोर्ट ने केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया समेत 23 अन्य लोगों को अधीनस्थ अदालत की ओर से आरोप मुक्त किये जाने के खिलाफ सीबीआई की याचिका पर सोमवार को आरोपियों से उनका पक्ष बताने को कहा।

  

सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने रखी दलीलें
दिल्ली शराब घोटाला केस की सुनवाई दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में जस्टिस स्वर्ण कांता शर्मा की बेंच के सामने हुई। जस्टिस स्वर्ण कांता शर्मा ने राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट को इस मामले से जुड़े मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग केस की सुनवाई तब तक टालने का भी निर्देश दिया, जब तक कि ट्रायल कोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ सीबीआई की याचिका पर फैसला नहीं कर लिया जाता।

सॉलीसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने क्या तर्क दिया?
इस दौरान सीबीआई की ओर से सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने दलीलें रखीं। मेहता ने तर्क दिया कि आबकारी नीति मामले में अरविंद केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया को आरोप मुक्त करने का निचली अदालत का आदेश अनुचित था और आपराधिक कानून को ही उलट देता है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि शराब नीति का मामला सबसे बड़े घोटालों में से एक था और भ्रष्टाचार का स्पष्ट उदाहरण था। मेहता ने दावा किया कि निचली अदालत ने केजरीवाल, सिसोदिया और अन्य के पक्ष में बिना सुनवाई के आरोप मुक्त करने का आदेश सुना दिया।

16 मार्च को अगली सुनवाई
वहीं, दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने शराब नीति मामले में दिल्ली के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल, पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया और 21 अन्य लोगों को ट्रायल कोर्ट द्वारा आरोप मुक्त किये जाने के विरूद्ध सीबीआई की याचिका पर सोमवार को आरोपियों से उनका पक्ष बताने को कहा। याचिका पर सुनवाई के लिए अगली तारीख 16 मार्च तय की।

राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट ने सभी आरोपियों को किया था बरी
बता दें कि राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट ने 27 फरवरी को अरविंद केजरीवाल और मनीष सिसोदिया को आबकारी नीति मामले में 23 अन्य लोगों के साथ बरी कर दिया था। केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया को महीनों जेल में रहने के बाद बरी कर दिया गया था। कोर्ट से बरी होने पर आम आदमी पार्टी और इंडिया गठबंधन ने बीजेपी पर राजनीतिक लाभ के लिए केंद्रीय एजेंसियों के इस्तेमाल करने का आरोप लगाया था। अरविंद केजरीवाल का आरोप था कि दिल्ली में सरकार बनाने के लिए बीजेपी ने उनके खिलाफ साजिश रची थी। सीबीआई ने राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट के फैसले को चुनौती देते हुए हाईकोर्ट में याचिका दाखिल की थी।

दिल्‍ली शराब घोटाला मामले में बड़ी खबर है। शराब घोटाला मामले में आरोपी आम आदमी पार्टी के संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल और मनीष सिसोदिया को कोर्ट ने बरी कर दिया है। राउज एवेन्‍यू कोर्ट का आदेश आते ही अरविंद केजरीवाल बाहर नि‍कले और पब्‍लि‍क के सामने ही फफक-फफक कर रो पड़े।

  

अदालत ने कहा- आरोप पत्र में कई कमियां
दिल्ली की राउज एवेन्यू अदालत ने कथित आबकारी नीति घोटाले से जुड़े भ्रष्टाचार के मामले में सीबीआई की ओर से दाखिल आरोपपत्र का संज्ञान लेने से इनकार कर दिया। विशेष न्यायाधीश जितेंद्र सिंह ने कहा कि आरोप पत्र में कई ऐसी कमियां हैं जिनका सबूतों से समर्थन नहीं मिलता। उसमें लगाए गए आरोप किसी गवाह या बयान से समर्थित नहीं हैं।

कोर्ट की सीबीआई जांच पर कड़ी टिप्पणी
अदालत ने सीबीआई की जांच पर कड़ी टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा कि केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया को बिना ठोस सामग्री के मामले में आरोपित किया गया। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने मामले में आम आदमी पार्टी के दोनों नेताओं के अलावा 21 अन्य आरोपियों को भी बरी कर दिया। साथ ही और किसी के खिलाफ आरोप तय करने से इनकार कर दिया।

केजरीवाल ने कहा-मैं भ्रष्ट नहीं हूं
राउज एवेन्‍यू कोर्ट का आदेश आते ही अरविंद केजरीवाल बाहर नि‍कले और पब्‍लि‍क के सामने ही फफक-फफक कर रो पड़े। इस दौरान साथ उनके खड़े मनीष सिसोदिया उन्हें गले लगाकर ढांढस बंधाते रहे। काफी देर बाद अरविंद केजरीवाल ने रुंधे गले से कहा, ‘मैं भ्रष्ट नहीं हूं। कोर्ट ने भी कहा कि केजरीवाल और मनीष सिसोदिया ईमानदार हैं। कोर्ट ने इस मामले में सभी आरोपियों को बरी कर दिया है। हमने हमेशा कहा कि सत्य ही जीतता है। हमें भारतीय कानून पर पूरा भरोसा है’।

सिसोदिया ने कहा- सत्य की जीत
वहीं, बरी होने पर मनीष सिसोदिया ने भी इसे सत्य की जीत बताया। सिसोदिया ने कहा, ‘सत्यमेव जयते, एक बार फिर मुझे बाबा साहब अंबेडकर की दूरदर्शी सोच और उनके बनाए संविधान पर गर्व हो रहा है। मोदी जी, उनकी पूरी पार्टी और उनकी एजेंसियों के द्वारा हमें बेईमान साबित करने के लिए पूरा जोर लगाने के बावजूद आज यह साबित हो गया कि अरविंद केजरीवाल और मनीष सिसोदिया कट्टर ईमानदार हैं।’

क्या था पूरा मामला
पूरा मामला नवंबर 2021 का है, जब दिल्‍ली की नई आबकारी नीति लागू हुई, तब दावा हुआ कि राजस्व बढ़ेगा। हालांकि, उस मामले को लेकर दिल्‍ली सरकार की मुसीबतें जरूर बढ़ गईं। सालभर भी नहीं हुआ और आबकारी नीति भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों से घिर गई। बीजेपी ने आरोप लगाए थे कि शराब लाइसेंस बांटने में धांधली हुई। चुनिंदा डीलर्स को फायदा पहुंचाया गया। जुलाई 2022 आते-आते आंच इतनी तेज हो गई कि उपराज्‍यपाल ने मुख्य सचिव से रिपोर्ट मांग ली। रिपोर्ट के आधार पर केंद्रीय एजेंसियों ने जांच तेज की, जिसमें कई गिरफ्तारी भी हुई। केजरीवाल और सिसोदिया की गिरफ्तारी के साथ यह बवाल चरम पर पहुंच गया था।

Bonu Komali suicide case: हैदराबाद से एक दुखद खबर सामने आई है। 21 साल की युवा यूट्यूबर बोनू कोमाली ने कथित तौर पर आत्महत्या कर ली। मौत से कुछ घंटे पहले ही उसने कुवैत में काम कर रही अपनी मां को एक मैसेज भेजा – “आई लव यू मम्मी सो मच”।

मां को भेजा आखिरी मैसेज

सोमवार तड़के करीब 1:34 बजे कोमाली ने अपनी मां बी. सत्य वरलक्ष्मी को मैसेज किया। उसने लिखा – “आई लव यू मम्मी सो मच, छोटे भाई का अच्छे से ख्याल रखना।”
मां ने तुरंत कॉल किया, लेकिन फोन स्विच ऑफ आ रहा था। कई बार कोशिश के बाद उन्होंने कोमाली की दोस्त मनसा को इसकी जानकारी दी।

दरवाजा तोड़कर अंदर पहुंची पुलिस

दोपहर करीब 3 बजे दोस्त फ्लैट पर पहुंची, लेकिन दरवाजा अंदर से बंद था। पड़ोसियों की मदद से पुलिस को बुलाया गया। दरवाजा तोड़कर अंदर जाने पर कोमाली छत के पंखे से लटकी मिली। मौके पर ही उसकी मौत हो चुकी थी।

कोमाली मूल रूप से Visakhapatnam की रहने वाली थी। वह पिछले 11 महीनों से हैदराबाद में अकेले रहकर बीएससी की पढ़ाई कर रही थी। साथ ही यूट्यूब पर लाइफस्टाइल और पर्सनल वीडियो बनाती थी।

ब्रेकअप बना वजह?

पुलिस की शुरुआती जांच में सामने आया है कि कोमाली पिछले तीन साल से एक सॉफ्टवेयर इंजीनियर और साथी यूट्यूबर के साथ रिलेशनशिप में थी। हाल ही में दोनों का ब्रेकअप हुआ था, जिससे वह काफी परेशान थी। बताया जा रहा है कि छह महीने पहले भी उसने आत्महत्या की कोशिश की थी, लेकिन तब परिवार ने बचा लिया था।

जांच जारी

पुलिस ने संदिग्ध मौत का मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। शव को पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए Osmania General Hospital भेजा गया है। फोन रिकॉर्ड, मैसेज और करीबियों के बयान के आधार पर जांच की जा रही है।

कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता मणिशंकर अय्यर ने पिछले कुछ समय से कांग्रेस विरोधी अपने बयानों को लेकर सुर्खियों में हैं। मणिसंकर अय्यर ने एक बार फिर कांग्रेस नेतृत्व पर सवाल उठाते हुए इंडिया गठबंधन को लेकर बड़ा बयान दिया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि इंडी गठबंधन की अगुवाई क्षेत्रीय दलों के नेताओं को करनी चाहिए। उन्होंने सलाह दी कि राहुल गांधी को गठबंधन की ड्राइविंग सीट छोड़ देनी चाहिए।

पश्चिम बंगाल में विधान सभा चुनाव में अब ज्यादा समय बाकी नहीं है, इससे पहले ही मणिशंकर अय्यर ने नए राजनीतिक विवाद को जन्म दे दिया है। रविवार को कोलकाता में पत्रकारों से बातचीत में अय्यर ने कहा, तृणमूल कांग्रेस प्रमुख और पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी इंडिया गठबंधन की नेता हैं। उनके बिना इंडी गठबंधन कुछ नहीं रहेगा।

स्टालिन और अखिलेश यादव का भी लिया नाम
इसके अलावा अय्यर ने कई अन्य बड़े क्षेत्रियों नेताओं का भी नाम लिया। उन्होंने कहा कि इंडिया गठबंधन में ऐसे कई क्षेत्रीय नेता हैं जो नेतृत्व की भूमिका निभा सकते हैं। उन्होंने तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एम.के. स्टालिन, समाजवादी पार्टी के अखिलेश यादव और राजद नेता तेजस्वी यादव जैसे नेताओं का भी उल्लेख किया।

राहुल को इंडिया ब्लॉक की बागडोर छोड़ने की सलाह
मणिशंकर अय्यर ने राहुल गांधी को नसीहत देते हुए कहा कि उनको इंडिया ब्लॉक की बागडोर को छोड़ देना चाहिए और इसे किसी क्षेत्रीय दल को सौंप देना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि राहुल गांधी इस जिम्मेदारी को साझा करें।

“It is said that books do not merely narrate stories; they create stories within us.” With this resonant observation, author and speaker Anish Kanjilal inaugurated an atmosphere of reflection and intellectual vigor at Sahityam 2026, hosted by CGC University, Mohali. Widely regarded as one of India’s largest literature festivals, Sahityam emerged as a dynamic confluence of ideas, scholarship, and the enduring influence of the written word.

The university campus, transformed into a vibrant literary arena, welcomed thousands of books and an equally enthusiastic gathering of readers, scholars, and students. Day One unfolded as a compelling exchange between celebrated voices and inquisitive young minds, united by a shared curiosity about literature’s role in shaping contemporary thought.

A Confluence of Distinguished Voices
The opening day featured an eclectic panel of distinguished personalities, including author and speaker Anish Kanjilal, actress Pankhuri Gidwani, journalist Navjot Randhawa, and Olympian Ashish Kumar Chaudhary. The discussions traversed an expansive intellectual terrain—literature, leadership, language, and the evolving aspirations of Generation Z.

Reflecting on his session, Kanjilal observed that the dialogue flowed organically “from literature to leadership,” underscoring a central premise: books are not confined to shelves; they shape ideologies, movements, and nations.

Kanjilal reminded the audience that language has repeatedly altered the course of history. Citing Winston Churchill, who famously “mobilised the English language and sent it into battle,” he highlighted how Churchill’s wartime speeches during World War II rekindled national resolve at a moment of existential crisis.

Language, therefore, is not passive expression; it is an instrument of resilience and transformation.

At the same time, he encouraged students to preserve the dignity and richness of language even amid its evolution. A robust vocabulary, he argued, fosters confidence and clarity of thought. Words imbued with nuance—such as “bewitching”—or idiomatic expressions like “boil down to” enhance not merely communication but cognition itself.

Literature as the Architect of Leadership
The discourse expanded beyond language to examine literature’s profound influence on leadership and social transformation.

Kanjilal referenced Leo Tolstoy to illustrate how storytelling carries deep moral and philosophical resonance. Tolstoy’s reflections on greed, morality, and human responsibility profoundly influenced Mahatma Gandhi, particularly in shaping his philosophy of non-violence and Satyagraha. Gandhi’s intellectual formation was further enriched by thinkers such as John Ruskin—clear testimony to how books quietly shape world-altering leaders.

The conversation then turned to political philosophy. Karl Marx’s intellectual journey—from philosophical inquiry to political economy following the “theft of wood” debates of 1842—culminated in seminal works such as The Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital. Regardless of ideological alignment, Kanjilal noted, the global impact of Marx’s writings is indisputable. They reshaped geopolitics, influenced revolutions, and contributed significantly to the balance of power in the modern world.

“Imagine a world without communism,” he reflected—not as advocacy, but as recognition of literature’s far-reaching consequences.

From Tolstoy to Marx, from Gandhi to global superpowers, the underlying message was unequivocal: ideas inscribed in books possess the power to transform societies.

The Contemporary Challenge of Teaching and Oratory
The festival also addressed the challenges confronting educators and public speakers in an era marked by shrinking attention spans and digital distractions. Teaching and effective oratory, participants acknowledged, demand renewed adaptability. Yet the remedy, Kanjilal suggested, remains timeless: reading.

A disciplined reading habit cultivates depth, patience, and intellectual rigor. Confidence, he emphasised, is born of knowledge. A well-read mind, he asserted, can command silence even in a restless crowd.

He encapsulated his message in a single imperative: “Read”—perhaps, he suggested, the most powerful word in the English language.

A Call to Intellectual Commitment
Concluding the day’s deliberations, Kanjilal invoked a Scottish proverb: “Many a mickle makes a muckle,” underscoring that incremental intellectual efforts accumulate into transformative change. Literature, he reiterated, intertwines with politics, economics, science, and leadership in ways both subtle and monumental.

In an age defined by rapid linguistic, technological, and ideological evolution, Sahityam 2026 stands as a reminder that books remain humanity’s most steadfast companions. They challenge, refine, and prepare us—often quietly—for leadership and responsibility.
