 Khabar kolkata sports Desk : A total of 802 cricketers were drafted in the mega men’s draft of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at a glitzy ceremony at a city hotel on Monday.

The players were picked by the eight franchisees namely Sobisco Smashers Malda, Adamas Howrah Warriors, ServoTech Siliguri Strikers, Harbour Diamonds, Shrachi Rarh Tigers, Lux-Shyam Kolkata Royal Tigers, Murshidabad Kings and Rashmi Medinipur Wizards.  

CAB Office bearers led by President Snehasish Ganguly, Vice President Amalendu Biswas, Secretary Naresh Ojha, Treasurer Prabir Chakrabarty, Joint Secretary Debabrata Das along with India cricket legend Sourav Ganguly, women’s cricket icon Jhulan Goswami were present for the draft. Chairpersons of various CAB committees, former international players, former office bearers and Apex Council Members were also present.

Also present were Bengal Pro T20 League committee members - Deep Chatterjee, Subhradeep Ganguly, Lopamudra Banerjee, Keya Ray, Surajit Lahiri, Ambarish Mitra, Soumendu Chatterjee, Joydeep Mukherjee, along with other CAB members.  

Speaking about the draft, CAB President Mr Ganguly said: “I welcome to all the current office bearers, former office bearers, international players and all the franchises for the men’s draft of the second season of the Bengal Pro T20 League.

 *Vision 2028 fifth phase concludes*

 Khabar kolkata sports Desk : The fifth phase of Vision 2028, which began on May 7, concluded today at the JU 2nd Campus Ground, Salt Lake. 

The camp was attended by Bengal Under-14, U-16, U-19 and U-23 boys. 

The youngsters were guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad, former India spinner Narendra Hirwani along with Bengal’s Ashok Dinda.

During the fifth phase, the coaching trio, Prasad, Hirwani and Dinda, focused more on improving and bettering the technical skills of the youngsters. 

Other coaches Ajay Verma, Dattatreya Mukherjee, Sourav Sarkar, Sanjib Sanyal also guided the boys. 

At the start of each session, the coaches delivered inspirational and motivation words to the young boys. The coaches looked at the proceedings and watched the boys’ practice with hawk eyes. As the session went on, the coaches talked to the talents individually. 
 
The short-term goal of Vision 2028 will be to get the various age group squads ready for the domestic season by improving their skills while the long-term goals will be to nurture the future talents and make them fit for various Bengal age group squads.

Tiranga Yatra Organized in Budhanpur



 
 
  

  









grand Tiranga Yatra (tricolor march) was organized in the Budhanpur Tehsil area, starting from Radha Krishna Temple in Koilsa. The event was graced by Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, the State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who led the yatra.
  
The Tiranga Yatra commenced from the Radha Krishna Temple and concluded at the Shaheed Smarak (Martyrs’ Memorial) in Budhanpur, where floral tributes were paid to the martyrs. Addressing the gathering, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary said that the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, which struck Pakistan on its own soil, is a matter of immense pride for the nation. He added that the Tiranga Yatra was organized to celebrate this victory and to boost the morale of the armed forces.
  
Vinod Rajbhar, District President of Lalganj, who presided over the event, encouraged all party workers and stated that whenever the pride and honor of our nation is challenged, our three armed forces give a befitting reply to the enemy.
  
Former District President Jayanath Singh expressed his pride in being born in a country like India and praised the bravery of Indian soldiers who risk their lives for the safety of the nation.
  
Budhanpur Nagar Panchayat Chairman's representative, Goodluck Singh, extended his gratitude to all the dignitaries who participated in the event.

रायपुर- ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ को लेकर छत्तीसगढ़ में सियासी घमासान तेज हो गया है। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और कांग्रेस महासचिव भूपेश बघेल द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री विष्णुदेव साय के बयान पर तंज कसने के बाद अब वित्त मंत्री ओपी चौधरी ने तीखा पलटवार किया है। साथ ही कड़ी नसीहत दी है।

भूपेश बघेल के इस प्रतिक्रिया पर वित्त मंत्री ओपी चौधरी ने पलटवार किया है। ओपी चौधरी ने एक्स पर पर लिखा कि प्रदेश के लोकप्रिय मुख्यमंत्री के विरुद्ध भूपेश बघेल की ऐसी हल्की बयानबाजी यह दिखाता है कि वे बुरी तरह हीनता बोध से ग्रस्त हैं। देश हित से जुड़े इतने बड़े विषय का इस तरह मजाक उड़ाने का अर्थ यही है कि पाकिस्तान के विरुद्ध भारत की यह जीत पूर्व सीएम पचा नहीं पा रहे हैं।
उन्होंने आगे लिखा कि वैसे कांग्रेस महासचिव भूपेश बघेल की जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि हिन्दी में सबसे प्रामाणिक माने जाने वाले ‘नागरी प्रचारिणी सभा’ के शब्दकोष में ‘आयोजन’ का अर्थ है – ‘किसी कार्य या गतिविधि को सुनियोजित और व्यवस्थित ढंग से करने की प्रक्रिया।’ इसमें योजना बनाना, संसाधनों का प्रबंधन और कार्य को निर्धारित समय पर पूरा करना शामिल है।
तो क्या कांग्रेस नेता यह कहना चाहते हैं कि ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ के तहत चला अभियान सुनियोजित नहीं था या अव्यवस्थित था? या सेना ने योजना सही नहीं बनायी थी, कि संसाधनों का प्रबंधन सेना ने सही नहीं किया? कभी सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक का इसी तरह मजाक बनाते हुए भूपेश बघेल ने यह कहा था कि ‘वहां केवल कौए मरे हैं।’ जनता ने उस भद्दे मजाक का माकूल जवाब भी दे दिया उन्हें।हमारे सैनिकों के शौर्य पर सवाल खड़ा करते रहने की परिपाटी बंद होना चाहिये। यह राजनीति का विषय नहीं है।

*Vision 2028 fifth phase begins with U-16, U-19 boys’ camps* 




 Khabar kolkata sports Desk: The fifth phase of Vision 2028 got underway today at the JU 2nd Campus Ground, Salt Lake, with the Bengal Under-16 and Under-19 boys attending the camps. 

The bowling department was guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad along with Bengal’s Ashok Dinda. 

Other coaches Ajay Verma, Dattatreya Mukherjee, Sourav Sarkar, Sanjib Sanyal also guided the boys. 

The fifth phase of the camp will be divided into two sessions for the first two days. From the third day onwards, the camp will be divided into three sessions being attended by U-16, U-19 and U-23 boys.  

The opening day’s session began with Prasad and Dinda delivering inspirational and motivation words to the young boys. The duo told the boys to use the camp as a learning experience. 

After a brief introduction, the batters took their stance at the crease and the bowlers prepared for their run-up, by practicing their bowling action. The coaches looked at the proceedings and watched the boys’ practice with hawk eyes. As the session went on, the coaches talked to the talents individually. 
 
The short-term goal of Vision 2028 will be to get the various age group squads ready for the domestic season by improving their skills while the long-term goals will be to nurture the future talents and make them fit for various Bengal age group squads.

  *Bengal Pro T20 League Women’s draft featured 188 cricketers*

 Khabar kolkata sports Desk: A total of 128 women players were drafted from a pool of 188 cricketers in the second edition of the Bengal Pro T20 League at a glitzy ceremony at a city hotel on Monday.

The players were picked by the eight franchisees namely Sobisco Smashers Malda, Adamas Howrah Warriors, ServoTech Siliguri Strikers, Harbour Diamonds, Rarh Tigers Burdwan| Birbhum, Lux-Shyam Kolkata Tigers, Murshidabad Kueens and Reshmi Medinipur Wizards.  

CAB Office bearers led by President Snehasish Ganguly, CAB Joint Secretary Debabrata Das, women’s cricket icon Jhulan Goswami, CAB Tour, Fixture and Technical Committee Chairman Sanjay Das were present along with Chairpersons of various CAB committees, former international players and former office bearers. 

Also present were Bengal Pro T20 League committee members - Deep Chatterjee, Subhradeep Ganguly, Lopamudra Banerjee, Keya Ray, Surajit Lahiri, Ambarish Mitra, Soumendu Chatterjee, Joydeep Mukherjee, along with other CAB members.

*CAB pays tribute to victims of Pahalgam terror attack*

Khabar kolkata News report : In a gesture of respect and solidarity, the Cricket Association of Bengal paid tribute to the victims of the terror attack in Pahalgam before the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings at the iconic Eden Gardens on Saturday.

To honour those who lost their lives, a minute’s silence was observed before the start of play.

The customary Eden bell, which has been rung for several years before the start of a match, was not done so on Saturday to pay tribute to the victims.

Present for the occasion were CAB President Snehasish Ganguly, CAB Secretary Naresh Ojha, CAB Treasurer Prabir Chakrabarty, CAB Vice President Amalendu Biswas, CAB Joint Secretary Debabrata Das along with other CAB officials and members. Also present was former Australia cricketer Brad Haddin.

इसरो के पूर्व अध्यक्ष के कस्तूरीरंगन का निधन, 84 साल की आयु में ली अंतिम सांस

भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) के पूर्व अध्यक्ष कृष्णस्वामी कस्तूरीरंगन का शुक्रवार को बेंगलुरु में निधन हो गया। बेंगलुरु स्थित आवास पर उन्होंने 84 साल की आयु में अंतिम सांस ली। बताया जा रहा है कि वे पिछले कुछ समय से अस्वस्थ चल रहे थे। उनका पार्थिव शरीर 27 अप्रैल को अंतिम दर्शन के लिए रमन रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट (आरआरआई) में रखा जाएगा। 

पूर्व इसरो प्रमुख के निधन पर पीएम मोदी ने शोक जताया। पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि के कस्तूरीरंगन ने इसरो में बहुत परिश्रम से काम किया और भारत के अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम को नई ऊंचाइयों पर पहुंचाया। राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति का मसौदा तैयार करने के लिए भारत हमेशा डॉ. कस्तूरीरंगन का आभारी रहेगा।

कस्तूरीरंगन सबसे लम्बे समय तक इसरो चीफ के पद पर कार्यरत रहे हैं। वह 10 साल तक इसरो के चेयरमैन रहे। इसके अलावा कस्तूरी रंगन के सरकारी नीतियों के फार्मूलेशन में भी योगदान दिया। डॉ कस्तूरीरंगन ने 27 अगस्त, 2003 को रिटायरमेंट से पहले भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन, अंतरिक्ष आयोग के अध्यक्ष और अंतरिक्ष विभाग में भारत सरकार के सचिव के रूप में 9 वर्षों से अधिक समय तक काम किया। 

कस्तूरीरंगन के नेतृत्व में इसरो ने रचा इतिहास
डॉ. कस्तूरीरंगन के नेतृत्व में इसरो ने भारत के ध्रुवीय उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण यान (पीएसएलवी) के सफल प्रक्षेपण और संचालन सहित कई उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धियां हासिल की। डॉ. कस्तूरीरंगन ने जियोसिंक्रोनस सैटेलाइट लॉन्च व्हीकल (जीएसएलवी) के पहले सफल उड़ान परीक्षण की भी देखरेख की। उनके कार्यकाल में आईआरएस-1सी और 1डी सहित प्रमुख उपग्रहों का विकास और प्रक्षेपण और दूसरी और तीसरी पीढ़ी के इनसैट उपग्रहों की शुरुआत हुई। इन प्रगति ने भारत को वैश्विक अंतरिक्ष क्षेत्र में एक प्रमुख शक्ति के रूप में मजबूती से स्थापित कर दिया। 
इसरो के अध्यक्ष बनने से पहले डॉ. कस्तूरीरंगन इसरो उपग्रह केंद्र के निदेशक थे, जहां उन्होंने भारतीय राष्ट्रीय उपग्रह (इनसैट-2) और भारतीय सुदूर संवेदन उपग्रहों (आईआरएस-1ए और आईआरएस-1बी) जैसे अगली पीढ़ी के अंतरिक्ष यान के विकास का नेतृत्व किया। उपग्रह आईआरएस-1ए के विकास में उनका योगदान भारत की उपग्रह क्षमताओं के विस्तार में महत्वपूर्ण था।

एनईपी मसौदा समिति के अध्यक्ष रहे
इसरो के पूर्व प्रमुख महत्वाकांक्षी नयी राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (एनईपी) को तैयार करने वाली मसौदा समिति के अध्यक्ष थे। कस्तूरीरंगन ने जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय के कुलाधिपति और कर्नाटक नॉलेज कमीशन के अध्यक्ष के रूप में भी कार्य किया था।

2003 से 2009 तक रहे राज्यसभा सदस्य
कस्तूरीरंगन 2003 से 2009 तक राज्यसभा के सदस्य रहे। भारत के तत्कालीन योजना आयोग के सदस्य के रूप में भी अपनी सेवाएं दी थीं। कस्तूरीरंगन अप्रैल 2004 से 2009 तक नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ एडवांस्ड स्टडीज, बेंगलुरु के निदेशक भी रहे थे।

आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता और पूर्व पीडब्ल्यूडी मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन की मुश्किलें बढ़ती दिख रही है। भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक शाखा (एसीबी) ने दिल्ली सरकार के पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन के खिलाफ रिश्वत लेने के मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज की है। यह मामला 571 करोड़ रुपये की सीसीटीवी परियोजना में बड़े पैमाने पर भ्रष्टाचार से जुड़ा हुआ है। आरोप है कि उन्होंने प्रोजेक्ट में 16 करोड़ रुपये का जुर्माना माफ करने के लिए 7 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत ली।

दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार के दौरान पीडब्ल्यूडी मंत्री रहे सत्येंद्र जैन के खिलाफ एबीसी ने भ्रष्टाचार के एक गंभीर मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज की है। आरोप है कि सत्येंद्र जैन सात करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत लेकर मनमाने ढंग से भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेड (बीईएल) पर लगाए गए 16 करोड़ रुपये के लिक्विडेटेड डैमेज (एलडी) को माफ कर दिया। इस जुर्माने को सुलझाने के बदले में 7 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत ली गई। बीईएल पर यह जुर्माना दिल्ली के 70 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में 1.4 लाख सीसीटीवी लगाने में देरी पर लगाया गया था।

क्या है पूरा मामला?
दिल्ली सरकार ने 2019 में राजधानी के 70 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में 1.4 लाख सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाने के लिए 571 करोड़ रुपये का प्रोजेक्ट शुरू किया था। इस प्रोजेक्ट को भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेड (बीईएल) और उसके ठेकेदारों को दिया गया था। लेकिन समय पर काम पूरा न होने के कारण दिल्ली सरकार ने बीईएल और उसके ठेकेदारों पर 16 करोड़ रुपये का जुर्माना लगा दिया था।
लेकिन अब एबीसी को एक शिकायत मिली है कि यह जुर्माना बिना किसी ठोस कारण के माफ कर दिया गया। आरोप यह भी है कि इसके बदले सत्येंद्र जैन को 7 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत दी गई। यह रिश्वत उन ठेकेदारों के जरिए दी गई, जिन्हें बीईएल से आगे का काम मिला था। शिकायत के अनुसार, यह रिश्वत भुगतान विभिन्न विक्रेताओं के माध्यम से की गई थी, जो आदेश की कीमतों को बढ़ा कर किया गया था।

 Khabar kolkata sports Desk: The third phase of Vision 2028 got underway today at the JU 2nd Campus Ground, Salt Lake, with the Bengal Under-19 girls attending the first session of the camp that ends on March 24. 

While Bengal’s Manoj Tiwary will be the batting coach, the bowling department will be guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad along with Bengal’s Ashok Dinda and spin bowling will be taken care of by Narendra Hirwani. Former India and Bengal women's cricketer Purnima Chowdhury will also guide the girls. 

The third phase of the camp is divided into two sessions every day. The first half will be attended by the U19 girls and the second by the U15 girls.

 Khabar kolkata sports Desk : A total of 802 cricketers were drafted in the mega men’s draft of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at a glitzy ceremony at a city hotel on Monday.

The players were picked by the eight franchisees namely Sobisco Smashers Malda, Adamas Howrah Warriors, ServoTech Siliguri Strikers, Harbour Diamonds, Shrachi Rarh Tigers, Lux-Shyam Kolkata Royal Tigers, Murshidabad Kings and Rashmi Medinipur Wizards.  

CAB Office bearers led by President Snehasish Ganguly, Vice President Amalendu Biswas, Secretary Naresh Ojha, Treasurer Prabir Chakrabarty, Joint Secretary Debabrata Das along with India cricket legend Sourav Ganguly, women’s cricket icon Jhulan Goswami were present for the draft. Chairpersons of various CAB committees, former international players, former office bearers and Apex Council Members were also present.

Also present were Bengal Pro T20 League committee members - Deep Chatterjee, Subhradeep Ganguly, Lopamudra Banerjee, Keya Ray, Surajit Lahiri, Ambarish Mitra, Soumendu Chatterjee, Joydeep Mukherjee, along with other CAB members.  

Speaking about the draft, CAB President Mr Ganguly said: “I welcome to all the current office bearers, former office bearers, international players and all the franchises for the men’s draft of the second season of the Bengal Pro T20 League.

 Khabar kolkata sports Desk : The fifth phase of Vision 2028, which began on May 7, concluded today at the JU 2nd Campus Ground, Salt Lake. 

The camp was attended by Bengal Under-14, U-16, U-19 and U-23 boys. 

The youngsters were guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad, former India spinner Narendra Hirwani along with Bengal’s Ashok Dinda.

During the fifth phase, the coaching trio, Prasad, Hirwani and Dinda, focused more on improving and bettering the technical skills of the youngsters. 

Other coaches Ajay Verma, Dattatreya Mukherjee, Sourav Sarkar, Sanjib Sanyal also guided the boys. 

At the start of each session, the coaches delivered inspirational and motivation words to the young boys. The coaches looked at the proceedings and watched the boys’ practice with hawk eyes. As the session went on, the coaches talked to the talents individually. 
 
The short-term goal of Vision 2028 will be to get the various age group squads ready for the domestic season by improving their skills while the long-term goals will be to nurture the future talents and make them fit for various Bengal age group squads.

grand Tiranga Yatra (tricolor march) was organized in the Budhanpur Tehsil area, starting from Radha Krishna Temple in Koilsa. The event was graced by Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, the State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who led the yatra.
  
The Tiranga Yatra commenced from the Radha Krishna Temple and concluded at the Shaheed Smarak (Martyrs’ Memorial) in Budhanpur, where floral tributes were paid to the martyrs. Addressing the gathering, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary said that the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, which struck Pakistan on its own soil, is a matter of immense pride for the nation. He added that the Tiranga Yatra was organized to celebrate this victory and to boost the morale of the armed forces.
  
Vinod Rajbhar, District President of Lalganj, who presided over the event, encouraged all party workers and stated that whenever the pride and honor of our nation is challenged, our three armed forces give a befitting reply to the enemy.
  
Former District President Jayanath Singh expressed his pride in being born in a country like India and praised the bravery of Indian soldiers who risk their lives for the safety of the nation.
  
Budhanpur Nagar Panchayat Chairman's representative, Goodluck Singh, extended his gratitude to all the dignitaries who participated in the event.

रायपुर- ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ को लेकर छत्तीसगढ़ में सियासी घमासान तेज हो गया है। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और कांग्रेस महासचिव भूपेश बघेल द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री विष्णुदेव साय के बयान पर तंज कसने के बाद अब वित्त मंत्री ओपी चौधरी ने तीखा पलटवार किया है। साथ ही कड़ी नसीहत दी है।

भूपेश बघेल के इस प्रतिक्रिया पर वित्त मंत्री ओपी चौधरी ने पलटवार किया है। ओपी चौधरी ने एक्स पर पर लिखा कि प्रदेश के लोकप्रिय मुख्यमंत्री के विरुद्ध भूपेश बघेल की ऐसी हल्की बयानबाजी यह दिखाता है कि वे बुरी तरह हीनता बोध से ग्रस्त हैं। देश हित से जुड़े इतने बड़े विषय का इस तरह मजाक उड़ाने का अर्थ यही है कि पाकिस्तान के विरुद्ध भारत की यह जीत पूर्व सीएम पचा नहीं पा रहे हैं।
उन्होंने आगे लिखा कि वैसे कांग्रेस महासचिव भूपेश बघेल की जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि हिन्दी में सबसे प्रामाणिक माने जाने वाले ‘नागरी प्रचारिणी सभा’ के शब्दकोष में ‘आयोजन’ का अर्थ है – ‘किसी कार्य या गतिविधि को सुनियोजित और व्यवस्थित ढंग से करने की प्रक्रिया।’ इसमें योजना बनाना, संसाधनों का प्रबंधन और कार्य को निर्धारित समय पर पूरा करना शामिल है।
तो क्या कांग्रेस नेता यह कहना चाहते हैं कि ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ के तहत चला अभियान सुनियोजित नहीं था या अव्यवस्थित था? या सेना ने योजना सही नहीं बनायी थी, कि संसाधनों का प्रबंधन सेना ने सही नहीं किया? कभी सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक का इसी तरह मजाक बनाते हुए भूपेश बघेल ने यह कहा था कि ‘वहां केवल कौए मरे हैं।’ जनता ने उस भद्दे मजाक का माकूल जवाब भी दे दिया उन्हें।हमारे सैनिकों के शौर्य पर सवाल खड़ा करते रहने की परिपाटी बंद होना चाहिये। यह राजनीति का विषय नहीं है।

*Vision 2028 fifth phase begins with U-16, U-19 boys’ camps* 




 Khabar kolkata sports Desk: The fifth phase of Vision 2028 got underway today at the JU 2nd Campus Ground, Salt Lake, with the Bengal Under-16 and Under-19 boys attending the camps. 

The bowling department was guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad along with Bengal’s Ashok Dinda. 

Other coaches Ajay Verma, Dattatreya Mukherjee, Sourav Sarkar, Sanjib Sanyal also guided the boys. 

The fifth phase of the camp will be divided into two sessions for the first two days. From the third day onwards, the camp will be divided into three sessions being attended by U-16, U-19 and U-23 boys.  

The opening day’s session began with Prasad and Dinda delivering inspirational and motivation words to the young boys. The duo told the boys to use the camp as a learning experience. 

After a brief introduction, the batters took their stance at the crease and the bowlers prepared for their run-up, by practicing their bowling action. The coaches looked at the proceedings and watched the boys’ practice with hawk eyes. As the session went on, the coaches talked to the talents individually. 
 
The short-term goal of Vision 2028 will be to get the various age group squads ready for the domestic season by improving their skills while the long-term goals will be to nurture the future talents and make them fit for various Bengal age group squads.

  *Bengal Pro T20 League Women’s draft featured 188 cricketers*

 Khabar kolkata sports Desk: A total of 128 women players were drafted from a pool of 188 cricketers in the second edition of the Bengal Pro T20 League at a glitzy ceremony at a city hotel on Monday.

The players were picked by the eight franchisees namely Sobisco Smashers Malda, Adamas Howrah Warriors, ServoTech Siliguri Strikers, Harbour Diamonds, Rarh Tigers Burdwan| Birbhum, Lux-Shyam Kolkata Tigers, Murshidabad Kueens and Reshmi Medinipur Wizards.  

CAB Office bearers led by President Snehasish Ganguly, CAB Joint Secretary Debabrata Das, women’s cricket icon Jhulan Goswami, CAB Tour, Fixture and Technical Committee Chairman Sanjay Das were present along with Chairpersons of various CAB committees, former international players and former office bearers. 

Also present were Bengal Pro T20 League committee members - Deep Chatterjee, Subhradeep Ganguly, Lopamudra Banerjee, Keya Ray, Surajit Lahiri, Ambarish Mitra, Soumendu Chatterjee, Joydeep Mukherjee, along with other CAB members.

*CAB pays tribute to victims of Pahalgam terror attack*

Khabar kolkata News report : In a gesture of respect and solidarity, the Cricket Association of Bengal paid tribute to the victims of the terror attack in Pahalgam before the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings at the iconic Eden Gardens on Saturday.

To honour those who lost their lives, a minute’s silence was observed before the start of play.

The customary Eden bell, which has been rung for several years before the start of a match, was not done so on Saturday to pay tribute to the victims.

Present for the occasion were CAB President Snehasish Ganguly, CAB Secretary Naresh Ojha, CAB Treasurer Prabir Chakrabarty, CAB Vice President Amalendu Biswas, CAB Joint Secretary Debabrata Das along with other CAB officials and members. Also present was former Australia cricketer Brad Haddin.

इसरो के पूर्व अध्यक्ष के कस्तूरीरंगन का निधन, 84 साल की आयु में ली अंतिम सांस

भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) के पूर्व अध्यक्ष कृष्णस्वामी कस्तूरीरंगन का शुक्रवार को बेंगलुरु में निधन हो गया। बेंगलुरु स्थित आवास पर उन्होंने 84 साल की आयु में अंतिम सांस ली। बताया जा रहा है कि वे पिछले कुछ समय से अस्वस्थ चल रहे थे। उनका पार्थिव शरीर 27 अप्रैल को अंतिम दर्शन के लिए रमन रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट (आरआरआई) में रखा जाएगा। 

पूर्व इसरो प्रमुख के निधन पर पीएम मोदी ने शोक जताया। पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि के कस्तूरीरंगन ने इसरो में बहुत परिश्रम से काम किया और भारत के अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम को नई ऊंचाइयों पर पहुंचाया। राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति का मसौदा तैयार करने के लिए भारत हमेशा डॉ. कस्तूरीरंगन का आभारी रहेगा।

कस्तूरीरंगन सबसे लम्बे समय तक इसरो चीफ के पद पर कार्यरत रहे हैं। वह 10 साल तक इसरो के चेयरमैन रहे। इसके अलावा कस्तूरी रंगन के सरकारी नीतियों के फार्मूलेशन में भी योगदान दिया। डॉ कस्तूरीरंगन ने 27 अगस्त, 2003 को रिटायरमेंट से पहले भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन, अंतरिक्ष आयोग के अध्यक्ष और अंतरिक्ष विभाग में भारत सरकार के सचिव के रूप में 9 वर्षों से अधिक समय तक काम किया। 

कस्तूरीरंगन के नेतृत्व में इसरो ने रचा इतिहास
डॉ. कस्तूरीरंगन के नेतृत्व में इसरो ने भारत के ध्रुवीय उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण यान (पीएसएलवी) के सफल प्रक्षेपण और संचालन सहित कई उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धियां हासिल की। डॉ. कस्तूरीरंगन ने जियोसिंक्रोनस सैटेलाइट लॉन्च व्हीकल (जीएसएलवी) के पहले सफल उड़ान परीक्षण की भी देखरेख की। उनके कार्यकाल में आईआरएस-1सी और 1डी सहित प्रमुख उपग्रहों का विकास और प्रक्षेपण और दूसरी और तीसरी पीढ़ी के इनसैट उपग्रहों की शुरुआत हुई। इन प्रगति ने भारत को वैश्विक अंतरिक्ष क्षेत्र में एक प्रमुख शक्ति के रूप में मजबूती से स्थापित कर दिया। 
इसरो के अध्यक्ष बनने से पहले डॉ. कस्तूरीरंगन इसरो उपग्रह केंद्र के निदेशक थे, जहां उन्होंने भारतीय राष्ट्रीय उपग्रह (इनसैट-2) और भारतीय सुदूर संवेदन उपग्रहों (आईआरएस-1ए और आईआरएस-1बी) जैसे अगली पीढ़ी के अंतरिक्ष यान के विकास का नेतृत्व किया। उपग्रह आईआरएस-1ए के विकास में उनका योगदान भारत की उपग्रह क्षमताओं के विस्तार में महत्वपूर्ण था।

एनईपी मसौदा समिति के अध्यक्ष रहे
इसरो के पूर्व प्रमुख महत्वाकांक्षी नयी राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (एनईपी) को तैयार करने वाली मसौदा समिति के अध्यक्ष थे। कस्तूरीरंगन ने जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय के कुलाधिपति और कर्नाटक नॉलेज कमीशन के अध्यक्ष के रूप में भी कार्य किया था।

2003 से 2009 तक रहे राज्यसभा सदस्य
कस्तूरीरंगन 2003 से 2009 तक राज्यसभा के सदस्य रहे। भारत के तत्कालीन योजना आयोग के सदस्य के रूप में भी अपनी सेवाएं दी थीं। कस्तूरीरंगन अप्रैल 2004 से 2009 तक नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ एडवांस्ड स्टडीज, बेंगलुरु के निदेशक भी रहे थे।

आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता और पूर्व पीडब्ल्यूडी मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन की मुश्किलें बढ़ती दिख रही है। भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक शाखा (एसीबी) ने दिल्ली सरकार के पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन के खिलाफ रिश्वत लेने के मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज की है। यह मामला 571 करोड़ रुपये की सीसीटीवी परियोजना में बड़े पैमाने पर भ्रष्टाचार से जुड़ा हुआ है। आरोप है कि उन्होंने प्रोजेक्ट में 16 करोड़ रुपये का जुर्माना माफ करने के लिए 7 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत ली।

दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार के दौरान पीडब्ल्यूडी मंत्री रहे सत्येंद्र जैन के खिलाफ एबीसी ने भ्रष्टाचार के एक गंभीर मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज की है। आरोप है कि सत्येंद्र जैन सात करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत लेकर मनमाने ढंग से भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेड (बीईएल) पर लगाए गए 16 करोड़ रुपये के लिक्विडेटेड डैमेज (एलडी) को माफ कर दिया। इस जुर्माने को सुलझाने के बदले में 7 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत ली गई। बीईएल पर यह जुर्माना दिल्ली के 70 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में 1.4 लाख सीसीटीवी लगाने में देरी पर लगाया गया था।

क्या है पूरा मामला?
दिल्ली सरकार ने 2019 में राजधानी के 70 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में 1.4 लाख सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाने के लिए 571 करोड़ रुपये का प्रोजेक्ट शुरू किया था। इस प्रोजेक्ट को भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेड (बीईएल) और उसके ठेकेदारों को दिया गया था। लेकिन समय पर काम पूरा न होने के कारण दिल्ली सरकार ने बीईएल और उसके ठेकेदारों पर 16 करोड़ रुपये का जुर्माना लगा दिया था।
लेकिन अब एबीसी को एक शिकायत मिली है कि यह जुर्माना बिना किसी ठोस कारण के माफ कर दिया गया। आरोप यह भी है कि इसके बदले सत्येंद्र जैन को 7 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत दी गई। यह रिश्वत उन ठेकेदारों के जरिए दी गई, जिन्हें बीईएल से आगे का काम मिला था। शिकायत के अनुसार, यह रिश्वत भुगतान विभिन्न विक्रेताओं के माध्यम से की गई थी, जो आदेश की कीमतों को बढ़ा कर किया गया था।

 Khabar kolkata sports Desk: The third phase of Vision 2028 got underway today at the JU 2nd Campus Ground, Salt Lake, with the Bengal Under-19 girls attending the first session of the camp that ends on March 24. 

While Bengal’s Manoj Tiwary will be the batting coach, the bowling department will be guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad along with Bengal’s Ashok Dinda and spin bowling will be taken care of by Narendra Hirwani. Former India and Bengal women's cricketer Purnima Chowdhury will also guide the girls.
