Desiya Suraksha Party emerges from five years of grassroots work through the Secure Our City campaign, with a focus on safety, housing, education and healthcare.
“Why should a woman feel unsafe in her own street?” This question became the starting point of Secure Our City, a community safety campaign initiated by Mangan Thomas Rijoy (MTR), President of Desiya Suraksha Party (DSP)
According to the campaign's account, the initiative began in Chennai five years ago with a commitment to provide 10,000 free CCTV cameras in selected Indian cities. Working without NGO backing, corporate funding or political support, the campaign reports that it has helped secure 5,000 houses in Chennai's slum communities.
However, years of working closely with residents led MTR to reconsider what safety means for families facing economic hardship.
Living and interacting with communities helped bring wider challenges into focus, including inadequate housing, access to food, healthcare, clothing and education. The experience shaped a broader vision that extends beyond surveillance and neighbourhood security
“A camera cannot secure a hungry stomach. A camera cannot secure a homeless family,” MTR said, describing the thinking behind the next phase of his work
This experience eventually led to the formation of Desiya Suraksha Party (DSP), a political initiative intended, according to its stated mission, to raise questions about public accountability, resource distribution and the living conditions of ordinary citizens.
 
Desiya Suraksha Party's Key Prioritie
DSP has outlined five principal commitments in its proposed social agenda
Housing for every family: A minimum 500-square-foot home for every Indian family.
Dignity and basic necessities: Access to good-quality clothing and essential living conditions.
Free education and healthcare: Education and medical services at international standards, provided free of charge.
A future for every child: A home, family environment and future for children without parental care, with the state acting as guardian where necessary.
Safety for women and children: Recognition of personal safety as a fundamental right rather than merely a government scheme.
These commitments represent the party's stated policy vision. Their implementation would require detailed plans covering funding, administration, eligibility and delivery.
 
A Campaign with a Wider Purpose
The Secure Our City initiative was originally intended to establish a community safety model that could later expand through SecureCam India and potential corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding.
DSP now says the campaign will continue alongside its broader social agenda. Following its first Maanadu, scheduled for December 10, 2026, in Chennai, the party plans to expand the initiative across India.
The campaign also proposes security audits for homes and buildings, with a minimum security guarantee. Further details on implementation and coverage are expected to clarify how this proposal would operate.
 
Beginning in Tamil Nadu and Kerala
 
DSP has identified Tamil Nadu and Kerala as the starting points for its next phase. MTR has invited people interested in community safety and social welfare to learn about the party and its stated objectives.
The party's central message is that public safety involves more than preventing crime. It also encompasses access to shelter, healthcare, education and dignified living conditions.
As DSP prepares for its December gathering, the transition from a neighbourhood CCTV campaign to a broader political platform marks a new stage in MTR's stated public-service journey.

लखनऊ । राष्ट्रीय साइबर सुरक्षा जागरूकता माह (National Cyber Security Awareness Month – NCSAM) अक्टूबर 2026 के अंतर्गत दिनांक 10 अक्टूबर 2026 को यूपी-112 परिसर, लखनऊ में साइबर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ  विनोद कुमार सिंह, पुलिस महानिदेशक, यू0पी0-112/सीआईडी एवं साइबर क्राइम, उत्तर प्रदेश द्वारा किया गया।
  

  
कार्यक्रम में दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल शहीद पथ, एलनहाउस पब्लिक स्कूल, विज्ञान फाउंडेशन सहित विभिन्न विद्यालयों एवं शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के लगभग 450 विद्यार्थियों एवं अध्यापकों ने प्रतिभाग किया।
  
कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों एवं अध्यापकों को साइबर अपराधों से बचाव, सुरक्षित इंटरनेट उपयोग, सोशल मीडिया के सुरक्षित एवं जिम्मेदार इस्तेमाल, ऑनलाइन धोखाधड़ी की पहचान तथा साइबर सुरक्षा से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियाँ प्रदान की गईं। प्रतिभागियों को अनजान लिंक पर क्लिक करने, संदिग्ध फाइल एवं एप डाउनलोड करने, ओटीपी साझा करने तथा ऑनलाइन ठगी के विभिन्न तरीकों से बचने के प्रति जागरूक किया गया। साथ ही, यूपी-112 की कार्यप्रणाली एवं आपातकालीन सहायता सेवाओं के संबंध में जानकारी देकर आपातकालीन परिस्थितियों में उपलब्ध सहायता के प्रति भी जागरूक किया गया।

कोलकाता एयरपोर्ट मस्जिद विवाद: नमाज पर रोक के खिलाफ हाई कोर्ट में सुनवाई, 7 अक्टूबर को अगली तारीख*


 
 
  कोलकाता: कोलकाता के नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे के अंदर स्थित मस्जिद में नमाज की अनुमति की मांग वाली याचिका पर गुरुवार को कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई। जस्टिस कृष्णा राव की बेंच ने सुनवाई के दौरान फ्लाईदुबई फ्लाइट की हालिया सुरक्षा घटना का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि पूरी दुनिया में सुरक्षा में चूक हो रही है। कोर्ट ने इस दिन कोई अंतरिम आदेश नहीं दिया। मामले की अगली सुनवाई 7 अक्टूबर को होगी।
  

  
याचिकाकर्ता के वकील किशोर दत्त ने कोर्ट में दलील दी कि एयरपोर्ट के अंदर मौजूद यह मस्जिद पिछले 40-50 सालों से नमाज के लिए इस्तेमाल हो रही है, लेकिन 11 जुलाई से वहां प्रार्थना पर रोक लगा दी गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि रास्ता बदलने या वैकल्पिक रास्ता देने पर कोई आपत्ति नहीं है, लेकिन पूरी तरह से नमाज बंद करना असंवैधानिक है। अगर 50 साल में सुरक्षा में कोई खल नहीं पड़ा तो अब भी नहीं पड़ेगा। जरूरत पड़े तो नामों की लिस्ट बनाकर नियंत्रित तरीके से प्रवेश की अनुमति दी जाए।
  

  
वहीं, एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी के वकील ने कहा कि कई तरफ से लोग अंदर आते हैं, वहां नमाज के साथ-साथ बैठकें भी होती हैं, यहां तक कि रनवे पर लोगों के घुसने की घटनाएं भी हुई हैं, जो सुरक्षा के लिए बड़ा खतरा है। केंद्र सरकार के वकील ने राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा का हवाला देते हुए 1993 के लाल किला कांड का उदाहरण दिया।
  

  
इसी दौरान जस्टिस राव ने कहा, "कल दुबई फ्लाइट की घटना देखिए।" एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी के वकील ने बताया कि उस घटना में एक भारतीय यात्री ने स्थिति को संभाला था और कोर्ट से अनुरोध किया कि उनका पक्ष सुने बिना कोई अंतरिम आदेश न दिया जाए।

কলকাতা: নিরাপত্তা প্রত্যাহারের অভিযোগ তুলে কলকাতা হাইকোর্টের দ্বারস্থ হলেন তৃণমূল সাংসদ অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। 
  

  
সোমবার তাঁর আইনজীবী অয়ন ভট্টাচার্য আদালতে জানান, তাঁর মক্কেল আগে জেড প্লাস ক্যাটাগরির নিরাপত্তা পেতেন। বিধানসভা নির্বাচনের পর সেই নিরাপত্তা প্রত্যাহার করে নেওয়া হয়েছে। বর্তমানে তাঁর কোনও কেন্দ্রীয় নিরাপত্তা নেই, শুধুমাত্র কয়েকজন হাউস গার্ড রয়েছেন। এই সময়ের মধ্যে তিনি বেশ কয়েকবার আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন বলেও আইনজীবী দাবি করেন। বিষয়টি নিয়ে দ্রুত শুনানির আর্জি জানানো হয়।
  

  
আবেদন শুনে বিচারপতি কৃষ্ণা রাও মামলা দায়ের করার অনুমতি দিয়েছেন। আগামী ৬ অক্টোবর এই মামলার শুনানি হবে বলে জানা গিয়েছে।

GAFA and IIRIS Consulting Push Forensic Investigation into the AI Era
NEW DELHI: The growing sophistication of financial fraud and technology-enabled crime is forcing a rethink of how investigations are conducted. Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming part of the investigator’s toolkit, not simply for automation, but for analysing large volumes of financial data, identifying anomalies and connecting information that may otherwise remain fragmented.
Against this backdrop, the Global Association of Forensic Accountants (GAFA) has joined hands with IIRIS Consulting to develop the Certified AI Investigator (CAII) programme, bringing artificial intelligence directly into the professional investigation curriculum. The programme is positioned at the intersection of forensic accounting, fraud investigation, financial intelligence and applied technology.
The initiative reflects a broader shift in the investigation profession. Fraudsters are increasingly using digital platforms, automated processes, complex transaction structures and technology to conceal financial activity. Investigators, consequently, need to be able to work with data at scale and use technology without losing the fundamentals of evidence-based investigation.
The CAII programme is built around practical application rather than AI theory alone. The current programme includes 48 hours of live instruction across eight modules and eight working platforms, with applications covering AI-assisted investigation, data and transaction analysis, fraud detection and investigative intelligence.
What makes the initiative particularly relevant is its emphasis on the investigator remaining in control. AI can identify patterns and accelerate analysis, but it cannot independently establish whether an unusual transaction is fraudulent, determine the credibility of evidence or replace professional skepticism. Those decisions still require human judgment, corroboration and investigative reasoning.
The collaboration also brings complementary capabilities. The skill enhancement capabilities of Global Association of Forensic Accountants (GAFA) operating across forensic accounting, fraud investigation, AML and financial-crime education, and IIRIS Consulting’s intelligence capabilities across risk advisory, security, intelligence, forensics and due diligence, with operations spanning India, MENA, Asia and Europe.
The development points to a larger transformation within forensic investigation: the next generation of professionals may need to be equally comfortable reading financial statements, interrogating datasets and questioning AI-generated findings. As financial crime continues to evolve, the advantage may increasingly belong not to investigators who simply use AI, but to those who understand when to use it, how to challenge it and how to turn its output into defensible investigative evidence.

বেআইনি বহুতল নির্মাণে দুর্নীতি, সিবিআই তদন্তের নির্দেশ হাইকোর্টের*

নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা, কলকাতা: শহরে বেআইনি বহুতল নির্মাণে বিপুল দুর্নীতির অভিযোগে এবার সিবিআই তদন্তের নির্দেশ দিল কলকাতা হাইকোর্ট। শুক্রবার প্রধান বিচারপতি রবীন্দ্র ভি ঘুগে এবং বিচারপতি তপোব্রত চক্রবর্তীর ডিভিশন বেঞ্চ এই নির্দেশ দেয়। প্রয়োজনে বিশেষ তদন্তকারী দল (সিট) গঠন করতে পারবে সিবিআই। আগামী ১৪ অক্টোবর প্রাথমিক রিপোর্ট পেশ করতে হবে।

মামলাটি বেলেঘাটা, মানিকতলা, রাজাবাজার এবং ক্যানাল ইস্ট রোড এলাকার ৫০টির বেশি বেআইনি বহুতল নির্মাণ সংক্রান্ত। অভিযোগ, এর আগে আদালত নির্মাণ ভাঙার নির্দেশ দিলেও তা কার্যকর হয়নি।

আবেদনকারী পক্ষের দাবি, এই নির্মাণ ব্যবসায় কয়েক হাজার কোটি টাকার দুর্নীতি হয়েছে। কালো টাকা সাদা করা এবং বেআইনি ভাবে বিদেশি মুদ্রা বিনিয়োগের অভিযোগও রয়েছে। বহু ক্ষেত্রে ন্যূনতম অনুমতি ছাড়াই বহুতল গড়ে উঠেছে। এর জেরে জাতীয় নিরাপত্তা বিঘ্নিত হওয়ার আশঙ্কা রয়েছে বলেও আদালতে জানানো হয়।

শুনানিতে প্রধান বিচারপতির বেঞ্চ প্রশ্ন তোলে, “কেন এতোদিন স্বতঃপ্রণোদিত অনুসন্ধান করা হয়নি? এটা পুরসভা বা রাজ্যের করার কথা। বেআইনি নির্মাণ হয়েই চলেছে। কলকাতায় যেমন, মুম্বইতেও তেমন। পুরসভার স্বতঃপ্রণোদিত পদক্ষেপ করা জরুরি। কেন বেআইনি হলে পুরসভা নিজে তা ভাঙবে না?”

এ সময় পুরসভার আইনজীবী সময় চেয়ে বলেন, তাঁরা বিস্তারিত তথ্য জমা দিতে চান। তাতে অসন্তোষ প্রকাশ করে বেঞ্চ বলে, “এটা সময় নষ্ট করার একটা পদ্ধতি। প্রয়োজনে আমরা কমিশনারকে ডেকে পাঠাচ্ছি। তাঁরা বেতন পাচ্ছেন কাজ করার জন্য, কাজ না করার জন্য নয়।”

আদালত জানায়, পুরসভার নিজের রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ীও নির্মাণগুলি বেআইনি। মামলাকারী পক্ষ জানায়, বহু নির্মাণের প্রকৃত মালিক কে, তার হদিস নেই। বিশাল অঙ্কের কালো টাকা লগ্নি হয়েছে, যা জাতীয় নিরাপত্তার পক্ষে উদ্বেগজনক। ইতিমধ্যেই ৪২টি বেআইনি বাড়ি চিহ্নিত করা হয়েছে।

এর পরই বেঞ্চ সিবিআইকে প্রাথমিক অনুসন্ধানের নির্দেশ দেয়। পুরসভা ও পুলিশের থেকে নথি নিয়ে তদন্ত এগোবে সংস্থা।

12 और 13 सितंबर को नई दिल्ली में 18वां ब्रिक्स समिट आयोजित हो रहा है। ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन के मद्देनजर दिल्ली में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी कर दी गई है। राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में शनिवार से शुरू हो रहे ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन के मद्देनजर दिल्ली पुलिस के 15,000 जवानों और अर्ध सैनिक बलों की 200 कंपनी तैनात की गई हैं। दिल्ली में 500 से अधिक सीसीटीवी कैमरों के जरिए निगरानी की जा रही है।

  

किले में तब्दील दिल्ली
दिल्ली यातायात पुलिस ने स्पष्ट किया है कि शिखर सम्मेलन के मद्देनजर पूरी दिल्ली बंद नहीं होगी लेकिन वीवीआईपी के काफिलों की आवाजाही के दौरान कुछ मार्गों पर अस्थायी रूप से ट्रैफिक को रोका जा सकता है। कुछ जगहों पर रूट डायवर्जन किया जा सकता है और कुछ रास्तों पर प्रतिबंध लगाए जा सकते हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि सुरक्षा के साथ आम लोगों को कम से कम परेशानी हो, इसके लिए व्यापक इंतजाम किए गए हैं और यातायात संबंधी एडवाइजरी पहले ही जारी की जा चुकी है।

  

खुफिया अलर्ट के बाद निगरानी बढ़ाई गई
खुफिया ब्यूरो (आईबी) के अलर्ट के बाद दिल्ली पुलिस और केंद्रीय सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने संभावित खतरों को देखते हुए निगरानी बढ़ा दी है। अधिकारियों को आशंका है कि कुछ संगठन या समूह वीवीआईपी नेताओं की आवाजाही में बाधा डालने, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था में सेंध लगाने या विरोध-प्रदर्शन के जरिए सम्मेलन को प्रभावित करने की कोशिश कर सकते हैं। खुफिया इनपुट में दीवारों पर आपत्तिजनक या विरोध से जुड़े नारे लिखने, ड्रोन उड़ाने और वीवीआईपी रूट में घुसने जैसी कोशिशों का खतरा बताया गया है। इसके बाद सम्मेलन स्थल, प्रमुख होटलों, वीवीआईपी रूट, महत्वपूर्ण सरकारी प्रतिष्ठानों और बड़े परिवहन केंद्रों पर सुरक्षा बढ़ाई गई है।

  

500 से अधिक सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए गए
सुरक्षा व्यवस्था हवाई अड्डे, विदेशी नेताओं को ठहराए जाने वाले होटलों, भारत मंडपम और उन अन्य स्थानों तक रहेगी जहां ये विदेशी मेहमान जाएंगे। नई दिल्ली इलाके में 500 से अधिक सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए गए हैं। इनमें हाई-रिजॉल्यूशन कैमरों के अलावा चेहरे की पहचान करने वाली प्रणाली और वाहनों की नंबर प्लेट पहचानने वाले कैमरे भी शामिल हैं। इन कैमरों के जरिए 24 घंटे निगरानी रखी जाएगी। सम्मेलन स्थल और विदेशी मेहमानों को ठहराए जाने वाले होटलों में प्रवेश नियंत्रण, पहचान सत्यापन, खुफिया जानकारी जुटाने, यातायात प्रबंधन और आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया की अतिरिक्त व्यवस्था की गई है।

पश्चिम बंगाल के दक्षिण 24 परगना जिले के बारुईपुर में 12 साल वर्षीय बच्ची के दुष्कर्म और हत्या के मामले को लेकर सूबे की राजनीति गरमा गई है। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और तृणमूल कांग्रेस प्रमुख ममता बनर्जी इस घटना के बाद बारुईपुर का दौरा करने वाली हैं। हालांकि, इससे पहले उनके आवास की सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई। आवास के बाहर सुरक्षा बलों को तैनात किया गया है।वहां बैरिकेड्स भी लगाए गए हैं। इसका मकसद ममता बनर्जी को बारुईपुर जाने से रोकना है। टीएमसी ने इसे पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री को नजरबंद करने की साजिश बताया है।

टीएमसी ने बताया कि ममता बनर्जी का घर कालीघाट में है। उनके घर के बाहर की संकरी गली में 10 से ज्यादा पुलिस की गाड़ियां खड़ी कर दी गई हैं। पास में ही पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव अभिषेक बनर्जी का भी घर है। वहां भी पुलिस तैनात है। टीएमसी विधायक कुणाल घोष ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा कि पूर्व सीएम बारुईपुर जाने वाली थीं। लेकिन उन्हें घर से निकलने से रोकने के लिए बाहर भारी पुलिस बल और बैरिकेड्स लगा दिए गए।

  

ममता ने पूछा- क्या वे मुझे नजरबंद करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं?
बारुईपुर में  एक नाबालिग लड़की से कथित दुष्कर्म और हत्या के बाद पीड़िता के परिवार से मिलने के उनके प्रस्तावित दौरे से पहले पूर्व सीएम ममता बनर्जी के कालीघाट स्थित घर के बाहर केंद्रीय बल और पुलिसकर्मी तैनात किए गए। इस पर ममता बनर्जी ने कहा कि उन्होंने 11 साल की लड़की के परिवार से मिलने के लिए बारुईपुर जाने का प्लान बनाया था। ऐसा क्या हुआ कि इतनी बड़ी संख्या में पुलिस तैनात की गई है? मैं बारुईपुर जाकर परिवार से मिलना चाहती थी। उन्होंने मेरे घर के बाहर इतनी पुलिस क्यों लगा दी है? क्यों? क्या वे मुझे नजरबंद करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं?’

  

टीएमसी ने कहा- सुपर इमरजेंसी
वहीं, टीएमसी सांसद डोला सेन ने इसे सुपर इमरजेंसी करार दिया। डोला सेन ने पत्रकारों से कहा कि बंगाल और कोलकाता में क्या हो रहा है? हर कोई जानता है कि बारुईपुर में क्या हुआ। दीदी (ममता बनर्जी) जन-नेता हैं। इतनी भयानक घटना के बाद वह वहां जाना चाहती थीं। लेकिन क्या उन्होंने उन्हें नजरबंद कर दिया है? ऐसा करके क्या वे दीदी को रोक पाएंगे? मुझे इसी वजह से यहां आना पड़ा। बिना किसी वजह के यहां इतनी पुलिस और प्रशासन तैनात कर दिया गया है। पुलिस प्रशासन जो कर रहा है, वह सही नहीं है। यह सुपर इमरजेंसी है।

  

क्या है मामला?
यह सारा विवाद बच्ची का शव मिलने के कुछ घंटों बाद शुरू हुआ। यह बच्ची एक दिन पहले लापता हो गई थी। उसका शव कोलकाता से करीब 15 किलोमीटर दूर बारुईपुर के सूर्यपुर हाट इलाके में मिला। बच्ची का शव एक बोरे में भरा हुआ था। इसके बाद स्थानीय लोग भड़क गए। लोगों ने सड़कें जाम कर दीं और टायर जलाए। गुस्साए लोगों ने पुलिस की गाड़ियों में भी तोड़फोड़ की। लोग दोषियों पर तुरंत कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे थे। बाद में यह घटना और हिंसक हो गई। एक गुस्साई भीड़ ने अपराध में शामिल होने के आरोपी एक व्यक्ति की पीट-पीटकर हत्या कर दी। पुलिस ने बच्ची की मौत के मामले में चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है।

“Why should a woman feel unsafe in her own street?” This question became the starting point of Secure Our City, a community safety campaign initiated by Mangan Thomas Rijoy (MTR), President of Desiya Suraksha Party (DSP)
According to the campaign's account, the initiative began in Chennai five years ago with a commitment to provide 10,000 free CCTV cameras in selected Indian cities. Working without NGO backing, corporate funding or political support, the campaign reports that it has helped secure 5,000 houses in Chennai's slum communities.
However, years of working closely with residents led MTR to reconsider what safety means for families facing economic hardship.
Living and interacting with communities helped bring wider challenges into focus, including inadequate housing, access to food, healthcare, clothing and education. The experience shaped a broader vision that extends beyond surveillance and neighbourhood security
“A camera cannot secure a hungry stomach. A camera cannot secure a homeless family,” MTR said, describing the thinking behind the next phase of his work
This experience eventually led to the formation of Desiya Suraksha Party (DSP), a political initiative intended, according to its stated mission, to raise questions about public accountability, resource distribution and the living conditions of ordinary citizens.

लखनऊ । राष्ट्रीय साइबर सुरक्षा जागरूकता माह (National Cyber Security Awareness Month – NCSAM) अक्टूबर 2026 के अंतर्गत दिनांक 10 अक्टूबर 2026 को यूपी-112 परिसर, लखनऊ में साइबर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ  विनोद कुमार सिंह, पुलिस महानिदेशक, यू0पी0-112/सीआईडी एवं साइबर क्राइम, उत्तर प्रदेश द्वारा किया गया।

कोलकाता एयरपोर्ट मस्जिद विवाद: नमाज पर रोक के खिलाफ हाई कोर्ट में सुनवाई, 7 अक्टूबर को अगली तारीख*


 
 
  कोलकाता: कोलकाता के नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे के अंदर स्थित मस्जिद में नमाज की अनुमति की मांग वाली याचिका पर गुरुवार को कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई। जस्टिस कृष्णा राव की बेंच ने सुनवाई के दौरान फ्लाईदुबई फ्लाइट की हालिया सुरक्षा घटना का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि पूरी दुनिया में सुरक्षा में चूक हो रही है। कोर्ट ने इस दिन कोई अंतरिम आदेश नहीं दिया। मामले की अगली सुनवाई 7 अक्टूबर को होगी।
  

  
याचिकाकर्ता के वकील किशोर दत्त ने कोर्ट में दलील दी कि एयरपोर्ट के अंदर मौजूद यह मस्जिद पिछले 40-50 सालों से नमाज के लिए इस्तेमाल हो रही है, लेकिन 11 जुलाई से वहां प्रार्थना पर रोक लगा दी गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि रास्ता बदलने या वैकल्पिक रास्ता देने पर कोई आपत्ति नहीं है, लेकिन पूरी तरह से नमाज बंद करना असंवैधानिक है। अगर 50 साल में सुरक्षा में कोई खल नहीं पड़ा तो अब भी नहीं पड़ेगा। जरूरत पड़े तो नामों की लिस्ट बनाकर नियंत्रित तरीके से प्रवेश की अनुमति दी जाए।
  

  
वहीं, एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी के वकील ने कहा कि कई तरफ से लोग अंदर आते हैं, वहां नमाज के साथ-साथ बैठकें भी होती हैं, यहां तक कि रनवे पर लोगों के घुसने की घटनाएं भी हुई हैं, जो सुरक्षा के लिए बड़ा खतरा है। केंद्र सरकार के वकील ने राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा का हवाला देते हुए 1993 के लाल किला कांड का उदाहरण दिया।
  

  
इसी दौरान जस्टिस राव ने कहा, "कल दुबई फ्लाइट की घटना देखिए।" एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी के वकील ने बताया कि उस घटना में एक भारतीय यात्री ने स्थिति को संभाला था और कोर्ट से अनुरोध किया कि उनका पक्ष सुने बिना कोई अंतरिम आदेश न दिया जाए।

সোমবার তাঁর আইনজীবী অয়ন ভট্টাচার্য আদালতে জানান, তাঁর মক্কেল আগে জেড প্লাস ক্যাটাগরির নিরাপত্তা পেতেন। বিধানসভা নির্বাচনের পর সেই নিরাপত্তা প্রত্যাহার করে নেওয়া হয়েছে। বর্তমানে তাঁর কোনও কেন্দ্রীয় নিরাপত্তা নেই, শুধুমাত্র কয়েকজন হাউস গার্ড রয়েছেন। এই সময়ের মধ্যে তিনি বেশ কয়েকবার আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন বলেও আইনজীবী দাবি করেন। বিষয়টি নিয়ে দ্রুত শুনানির আর্জি জানানো হয়।

Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming part of the investigator’s toolkit, not simply for automation, but for analysing large volumes of financial data, identifying anomalies and connecting information that may otherwise remain fragmented.
Against this backdrop, the Global Association of Forensic Accountants (GAFA) has joined hands with IIRIS Consulting to develop the Certified AI Investigator (CAII) programme, bringing artificial intelligence directly into the professional investigation curriculum. The programme is positioned at the intersection of forensic accounting, fraud investigation, financial intelligence and applied technology.
The initiative reflects a broader shift in the investigation profession. Fraudsters are increasingly using digital platforms, automated processes, complex transaction structures and technology to conceal financial activity. Investigators, consequently, need to be able to work with data at scale and use technology without losing the fundamentals of evidence-based investigation.
The CAII programme is built around practical application rather than AI theory alone. The current programme includes 48 hours of live instruction across eight modules and eight working platforms, with applications covering AI-assisted investigation, data and transaction analysis, fraud detection and investigative intelligence.
What makes the initiative particularly relevant is its emphasis on the investigator remaining in control. AI can identify patterns and accelerate analysis, but it cannot independently establish whether an unusual transaction is fraudulent, determine the credibility of evidence or replace professional skepticism. Those decisions still require human judgment, corroboration and investigative reasoning.
The collaboration also brings complementary capabilities. The skill enhancement capabilities of Global Association of Forensic Accountants (GAFA) operating across forensic accounting, fraud investigation, AML and financial-crime education, and IIRIS Consulting’s intelligence capabilities across risk advisory, security, intelligence, forensics and due diligence, with operations spanning India, MENA, Asia and Europe.
The development points to a larger transformation within forensic investigation: the next generation of professionals may need to be equally comfortable reading financial statements, interrogating datasets and questioning AI-generated findings. As financial crime continues to evolve, the advantage may increasingly belong not to investigators who simply use AI, but to those who understand when to use it, how to challenge it and how to turn its output into defensible investigative evidence.

নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা, কলকাতা: শহরে বেআইনি বহুতল নির্মাণে বিপুল দুর্নীতির অভিযোগে এবার সিবিআই তদন্তের নির্দেশ দিল কলকাতা হাইকোর্ট। শুক্রবার প্রধান বিচারপতি রবীন্দ্র ভি ঘুগে এবং বিচারপতি তপোব্রত চক্রবর্তীর ডিভিশন বেঞ্চ এই নির্দেশ দেয়। প্রয়োজনে বিশেষ তদন্তকারী দল (সিট) গঠন করতে পারবে সিবিআই। আগামী ১৪ অক্টোবর প্রাথমিক রিপোর্ট পেশ করতে হবে।

মামলাটি বেলেঘাটা, মানিকতলা, রাজাবাজার এবং ক্যানাল ইস্ট রোড এলাকার ৫০টির বেশি বেআইনি বহুতল নির্মাণ সংক্রান্ত। অভিযোগ, এর আগে আদালত নির্মাণ ভাঙার নির্দেশ দিলেও তা কার্যকর হয়নি।

আবেদনকারী পক্ষের দাবি, এই নির্মাণ ব্যবসায় কয়েক হাজার কোটি টাকার দুর্নীতি হয়েছে। কালো টাকা সাদা করা এবং বেআইনি ভাবে বিদেশি মুদ্রা বিনিয়োগের অভিযোগও রয়েছে। বহু ক্ষেত্রে ন্যূনতম অনুমতি ছাড়াই বহুতল গড়ে উঠেছে। এর জেরে জাতীয় নিরাপত্তা বিঘ্নিত হওয়ার আশঙ্কা রয়েছে বলেও আদালতে জানানো হয়।

শুনানিতে প্রধান বিচারপতির বেঞ্চ প্রশ্ন তোলে, “কেন এতোদিন স্বতঃপ্রণোদিত অনুসন্ধান করা হয়নি? এটা পুরসভা বা রাজ্যের করার কথা। বেআইনি নির্মাণ হয়েই চলেছে। কলকাতায় যেমন, মুম্বইতেও তেমন। পুরসভার স্বতঃপ্রণোদিত পদক্ষেপ করা জরুরি। কেন বেআইনি হলে পুরসভা নিজে তা ভাঙবে না?”

এ সময় পুরসভার আইনজীবী সময় চেয়ে বলেন, তাঁরা বিস্তারিত তথ্য জমা দিতে চান। তাতে অসন্তোষ প্রকাশ করে বেঞ্চ বলে, “এটা সময় নষ্ট করার একটা পদ্ধতি। প্রয়োজনে আমরা কমিশনারকে ডেকে পাঠাচ্ছি। তাঁরা বেতন পাচ্ছেন কাজ করার জন্য, কাজ না করার জন্য নয়।”

আদালত জানায়, পুরসভার নিজের রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ীও নির্মাণগুলি বেআইনি। মামলাকারী পক্ষ জানায়, বহু নির্মাণের প্রকৃত মালিক কে, তার হদিস নেই। বিশাল অঙ্কের কালো টাকা লগ্নি হয়েছে, যা জাতীয় নিরাপত্তার পক্ষে উদ্বেগজনক। ইতিমধ্যেই ৪২টি বেআইনি বাড়ি চিহ্নিত করা হয়েছে।

এর পরই বেঞ্চ সিবিআইকে প্রাথমিক অনুসন্ধানের নির্দেশ দেয়। পুরসভা ও পুলিশের থেকে নথি নিয়ে তদন্ত এগোবে সংস্থা।

12 और 13 सितंबर को नई दिल्ली में 18वां ब्रिक्स समिट आयोजित हो रहा है। ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन के मद्देनजर दिल्ली में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी कर दी गई है। राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में शनिवार से शुरू हो रहे ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन के मद्देनजर दिल्ली पुलिस के 15,000 जवानों और अर्ध सैनिक बलों की 200 कंपनी तैनात की गई हैं। दिल्ली में 500 से अधिक सीसीटीवी कैमरों के जरिए निगरानी की जा रही है।

दिल्ली यातायात पुलिस ने स्पष्ट किया है कि शिखर सम्मेलन के मद्देनजर पूरी दिल्ली बंद नहीं होगी लेकिन वीवीआईपी के काफिलों की आवाजाही के दौरान कुछ मार्गों पर अस्थायी रूप से ट्रैफिक को रोका जा सकता है। कुछ जगहों पर रूट डायवर्जन किया जा सकता है और कुछ रास्तों पर प्रतिबंध लगाए जा सकते हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि सुरक्षा के साथ आम लोगों को कम से कम परेशानी हो, इसके लिए व्यापक इंतजाम किए गए हैं और यातायात संबंधी एडवाइजरी पहले ही जारी की जा चुकी है।

  

खुफिया अलर्ट के बाद निगरानी बढ़ाई गई
खुफिया ब्यूरो (आईबी) के अलर्ट के बाद दिल्ली पुलिस और केंद्रीय सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने संभावित खतरों को देखते हुए निगरानी बढ़ा दी है। अधिकारियों को आशंका है कि कुछ संगठन या समूह वीवीआईपी नेताओं की आवाजाही में बाधा डालने, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था में सेंध लगाने या विरोध-प्रदर्शन के जरिए सम्मेलन को प्रभावित करने की कोशिश कर सकते हैं। खुफिया इनपुट में दीवारों पर आपत्तिजनक या विरोध से जुड़े नारे लिखने, ड्रोन उड़ाने और वीवीआईपी रूट में घुसने जैसी कोशिशों का खतरा बताया गया है। इसके बाद सम्मेलन स्थल, प्रमुख होटलों, वीवीआईपी रूट, महत्वपूर्ण सरकारी प्रतिष्ठानों और बड़े परिवहन केंद्रों पर सुरक्षा बढ़ाई गई है।

  

500 से अधिक सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए गए
सुरक्षा व्यवस्था हवाई अड्डे, विदेशी नेताओं को ठहराए जाने वाले होटलों, भारत मंडपम और उन अन्य स्थानों तक रहेगी जहां ये विदेशी मेहमान जाएंगे। नई दिल्ली इलाके में 500 से अधिक सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए गए हैं। इनमें हाई-रिजॉल्यूशन कैमरों के अलावा चेहरे की पहचान करने वाली प्रणाली और वाहनों की नंबर प्लेट पहचानने वाले कैमरे भी शामिल हैं। इन कैमरों के जरिए 24 घंटे निगरानी रखी जाएगी। सम्मेलन स्थल और विदेशी मेहमानों को ठहराए जाने वाले होटलों में प्रवेश नियंत्रण, पहचान सत्यापन, खुफिया जानकारी जुटाने, यातायात प्रबंधन और आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया की अतिरिक्त व्यवस्था की गई है।

पश्चिम बंगाल के दक्षिण 24 परगना जिले के बारुईपुर में 12 साल वर्षीय बच्ची के दुष्कर्म और हत्या के मामले को लेकर सूबे की राजनीति गरमा गई है। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और तृणमूल कांग्रेस प्रमुख ममता बनर्जी इस घटना के बाद बारुईपुर का दौरा करने वाली हैं। हालांकि, इससे पहले उनके आवास की सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई। आवास के बाहर सुरक्षा बलों को तैनात किया गया है।वहां बैरिकेड्स भी लगाए गए हैं। इसका मकसद ममता बनर्जी को बारुईपुर जाने से रोकना है। टीएमसी ने इसे पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री को नजरबंद करने की साजिश बताया है।

टीएमसी ने बताया कि ममता बनर्जी का घर कालीघाट में है। उनके घर के बाहर की संकरी गली में 10 से ज्यादा पुलिस की गाड़ियां खड़ी कर दी गई हैं। पास में ही पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव अभिषेक बनर्जी का भी घर है। वहां भी पुलिस तैनात है। टीएमसी विधायक कुणाल घोष ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा कि पूर्व सीएम बारुईपुर जाने वाली थीं। लेकिन उन्हें घर से निकलने से रोकने के लिए बाहर भारी पुलिस बल और बैरिकेड्स लगा दिए गए।

  

ममता ने पूछा- क्या वे मुझे नजरबंद करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं?
बारुईपुर में  एक नाबालिग लड़की से कथित दुष्कर्म और हत्या के बाद पीड़िता के परिवार से मिलने के उनके प्रस्तावित दौरे से पहले पूर्व सीएम ममता बनर्जी के कालीघाट स्थित घर के बाहर केंद्रीय बल और पुलिसकर्मी तैनात किए गए। इस पर ममता बनर्जी ने कहा कि उन्होंने 11 साल की लड़की के परिवार से मिलने के लिए बारुईपुर जाने का प्लान बनाया था। ऐसा क्या हुआ कि इतनी बड़ी संख्या में पुलिस तैनात की गई है? मैं बारुईपुर जाकर परिवार से मिलना चाहती थी। उन्होंने मेरे घर के बाहर इतनी पुलिस क्यों लगा दी है? क्यों? क्या वे मुझे नजरबंद करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं?’

  

टीएमसी ने कहा- सुपर इमरजेंसी
वहीं, टीएमसी सांसद डोला सेन ने इसे सुपर इमरजेंसी करार दिया। डोला सेन ने पत्रकारों से कहा कि बंगाल और कोलकाता में क्या हो रहा है? हर कोई जानता है कि बारुईपुर में क्या हुआ। दीदी (ममता बनर्जी) जन-नेता हैं। इतनी भयानक घटना के बाद वह वहां जाना चाहती थीं। लेकिन क्या उन्होंने उन्हें नजरबंद कर दिया है? ऐसा करके क्या वे दीदी को रोक पाएंगे? मुझे इसी वजह से यहां आना पड़ा। बिना किसी वजह के यहां इतनी पुलिस और प्रशासन तैनात कर दिया गया है। पुलिस प्रशासन जो कर रहा है, वह सही नहीं है। यह सुपर इमरजेंसी है।

यह सारा विवाद बच्ची का शव मिलने के कुछ घंटों बाद शुरू हुआ। यह बच्ची एक दिन पहले लापता हो गई थी। उसका शव कोलकाता से करीब 15 किलोमीटर दूर बारुईपुर के सूर्यपुर हाट इलाके में मिला। बच्ची का शव एक बोरे में भरा हुआ था। इसके बाद स्थानीय लोग भड़क गए। लोगों ने सड़कें जाम कर दीं और टायर जलाए। गुस्साए लोगों ने पुलिस की गाड़ियों में भी तोड़फोड़ की। लोग दोषियों पर तुरंत कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे थे। बाद में यह घटना और हिंसक हो गई। एक गुस्साई भीड़ ने अपराध में शामिल होने के आरोपी एक व्यक्ति की पीट-पीटकर हत्या कर दी। पुलिस ने बच्ची की मौत के मामले में चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है।
