टीएमसी ने बताया कि ममता बनर्जी का घर कालीघाट में है। उनके घर के बाहर की संकरी गली में 10 से ज्यादा पुलिस की गाड़ियां खड़ी कर दी गई हैं। पास में ही पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव अभिषेक बनर्जी का भी घर है। वहां भी पुलिस तैनात है। टीएमसी विधायक कुणाल घोष ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा कि पूर्व सीएम बारुईपुर जाने वाली थीं। लेकिन उन्हें घर से निकलने से रोकने के लिए बाहर भारी पुलिस बल और बैरिकेड्स लगा दिए गए।

बारुईपुर में  एक नाबालिग लड़की से कथित दुष्कर्म और हत्या के बाद पीड़िता के परिवार से मिलने के उनके प्रस्तावित दौरे से पहले पूर्व सीएम ममता बनर्जी के कालीघाट स्थित घर के बाहर केंद्रीय बल और पुलिसकर्मी तैनात किए गए। इस पर ममता बनर्जी ने कहा कि उन्होंने 11 साल की लड़की के परिवार से मिलने के लिए बारुईपुर जाने का प्लान बनाया था। ऐसा क्या हुआ कि इतनी बड़ी संख्या में पुलिस तैनात की गई है? मैं बारुईपुर जाकर परिवार से मिलना चाहती थी। उन्होंने मेरे घर के बाहर इतनी पुलिस क्यों लगा दी है? क्यों? क्या वे मुझे नजरबंद करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं?’

वहीं, टीएमसी सांसद डोला सेन ने इसे सुपर इमरजेंसी करार दिया। डोला सेन ने पत्रकारों से कहा कि बंगाल और कोलकाता में क्या हो रहा है? हर कोई जानता है कि बारुईपुर में क्या हुआ। दीदी (ममता बनर्जी) जन-नेता हैं। इतनी भयानक घटना के बाद वह वहां जाना चाहती थीं। लेकिन क्या उन्होंने उन्हें नजरबंद कर दिया है? ऐसा करके क्या वे दीदी को रोक पाएंगे? मुझे इसी वजह से यहां आना पड़ा। बिना किसी वजह के यहां इतनी पुलिस और प्रशासन तैनात कर दिया गया है। पुलिस प्रशासन जो कर रहा है, वह सही नहीं है। यह सुपर इमरजेंसी है।

यह सारा विवाद बच्ची का शव मिलने के कुछ घंटों बाद शुरू हुआ। यह बच्ची एक दिन पहले लापता हो गई थी। उसका शव कोलकाता से करीब 15 किलोमीटर दूर बारुईपुर के सूर्यपुर हाट इलाके में मिला। बच्ची का शव एक बोरे में भरा हुआ था। इसके बाद स्थानीय लोग भड़क गए। लोगों ने सड़कें जाम कर दीं और टायर जलाए। गुस्साए लोगों ने पुलिस की गाड़ियों में भी तोड़फोड़ की। लोग दोषियों पर तुरंत कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे थे। बाद में यह घटना और हिंसक हो गई। एक गुस्साई भीड़ ने अपराध में शामिल होने के आरोपी एक व्यक्ति की पीट-पीटकर हत्या कर दी। पुलिस ने बच्ची की मौत के मामले में चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है।

यह सारा विवाद बच्ची का शव मिलने के कुछ घंटों बाद शुरू हुआ। यह बच्ची एक दिन पहले लापता हो गई थी। उसका शव कोलकाता से करीब 15 किलोमीटर दूर बारुईपुर के सूर्यपुर हाट इलाके में मिला। बच्ची का शव एक बोरे में भरा हुआ था। इसके बाद स्थानीय लोग भड़क गए। लोगों ने सड़कें जाम कर दीं और टायर जलाए। गुस्साए लोगों ने पुलिस की गाड़ियों में भी तोड़फोड़ की। लोग दोषियों पर तुरंत कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे थे। बाद में यह घटना और हिंसक हो गई। एक गुस्साई भीड़ ने अपराध में शामिल होने के आरोपी एक व्यक्ति की पीट-पीटकर हत्या कर दी। पुलिस ने बच्ची की मौत के मामले में चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है।
