जानकारी दे दें कि आज देश के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति, मिसाइल मैन डॉ. एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम की जंयती है। इन्हीं के सम्मान में कलाम साहब की जयंती को वर्ल्ड स्टूडेंट्स डे के रूप में मनाया जाता है। अब्दुल कलाम ने एजुकेशन सेक्टर में कई सराहनीय प्रयास किए हैं, जो छात्र जीवन केलिए प्रेरणास्त्रोत हैं। डॉ. एपी जे कलाम को लोग पीपुल्स प्रेसिडेंट के रूप में भी याद किया जाता है। एपी जे अब्दुल कलाम का जन्म 15 अक्टूबर 1931 को तमिलनाडु के रामेश्वरम में हुआ था। 18 जुलाई 2002 को इन्हें देश का 11वां राष्ट्रपति चुना गया।
  

  
UN की ओर से पहली बार साल 2010 में भारत रत्न डॉ. ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम की 79वीं जयंती को वर्ल्ड स्टूडेंट्स डे के रूप में मनाए जाने की घोषणा की गई। इसके बाद से अब तक हर साल यह दिन विश्व छात्र दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस दिन डॉ एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका, उनकी उपलब्धियां और स्टूडेंट्स को दी गई प्रेरणा को याद किया जाता है। उनका मानना था कि टीचर किसी भी सोसाइटी के निमार्ण के लिए अहम होते हैं क्योंकि वे छात्रों को उनके संबंधित विषयों में बेहतर बनाने के लिए जिम्मेदार होते हैं। कलाम ने अपना पूरा जीवन एजुकेशन और स्टूडेंट के भलाई के लिए समर्पित कर दिया।

The Grannus PHPN project operates under the guidance of a highly respected figure in Gujarat, Geetha Johri, the former Director General of Police (DGP) of Gujarat, who now serves as the President of Grannus Organization. Alongside her, Mayank Shah, a social entrepreneur and the CEO of Grannus Organization, envisioned this platform as a means to unite people through social-interest-based integration through his unique idea of making DGBSI SRPP/RTPP model for emergency management. The brilliant coding to make this technology live was done by Chirag Patel.

“We are leveraging digitalization to tackle India's most pressing social issues,” says Mayank Shah. “Grannus connects citizens who are committed to societal betterment by organizing them based on their location and social interests. Our app facilitates everything from ensuring women’s safety, locating missing persons, and managing medical emergencies, to responding to national crises and natural disasters. We also support food donation drives and environmental initiatives. Users can register for free, select their areas of interest, and receive real-time alerts when their assistance is needed. Together, we can create a safer, more connected community.”

 A Rising Success in Gujarat

Since its launch, the Grannus PHPN app has gained viral popularity in Gujarat, even trending at number one on the Google Play Store for several days. It is now the highest-rated Indian app focused on social issues. The app has drawn praise from prominent figures, including Gujarat’s Chief Minister, Bhupendra Bhai Patel, and various IAS and IPS officers, who have commended Grannus for its successful projects, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

How It Works

Joining the movement is simple. Volunteers can download the Grannus PHPN app from the Google Play Store, select their social interests—ranging from women's safety and disaster response to environmental work—and receive notifications when their help is needed. Users can choose one or more interests, and the app connects them with nearby volunteering opportunities, whether with local NGOs or during emergencies in their vicinity.

“Our population, often seen as a challenge, can become our greatest asset,” explains Shah. “The government is working tirelessly to address social issues, but by connecting people and empowering them with volunteering opportunities, we can solve many of our country's problems together.”

विशेषज्ञ बताते हैं, मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को बेहतर बनाए रखने के लिए सही खान-पान बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है। सही आहार मस्तिष्क की कार्यक्षमता को बढ़ावा देता है और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य पर सकारात्मक प्रभाव डालता है। मनोचिकित्सक कहते हैं, मानसिक स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं किसी को भी हो सकती हैं, चाहे वह बच्चा हो या बुजुर्ग।मानसिक और शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य एक-दूसरे से जुड़े हुए हैं। लंबे समय तक तनाव, चिंता या अवसाद जैसी मेंटल हेल्थ की समस्याएं शरीर में इंफ्लामेशन, हृदय रोग, उच्च रक्तचाप और अन्य स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं का कारण बन सकती हैं। इतना ही नहीं मानसिक विकार नींद को भी नकारात्मक रूप से प्रभावित सकते हैं, जिससे मोटापा और क्रोनिक स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं का जोखिम बढ़ जाता है।

जिला अस्पताल ज्ञानपुर में स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा विश्व मानसिक दिवस एवं 25वां विश्व दृष्टि दिवस मनाया गया। जिसका शुभारंभ मुख्य अतिथि डीएम विशाल सिंह ने फीता काटकर किया। कार्यक्रम में छात्रों को मानसिक स्वस्थ रहने की जानकारी दी गई एवं निशुल्क चश्मा वितरण किया गया।

स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा जिला अस्पताल महाराजा चेत सिंह परिसर में विश्व मानसिक दिवस एवं 25वां विश्व दृष्टि दिवस का आयोजन किया गया। जिसका शुभारंभ मुख्य अतिथि जिलाधिकारी विशाल सिंह ने फीता काटकर किया। कार्यक्रम में मौजूद छात्र-छात्राओं को विशेषज्ञों द्वारा मानसिक स्वस्थ रहने के जानकारी दी गई। विशेषज्ञों ने कहा कि स्वस्थ मानसिक व्यक्ति ही देश व समाज के लिए कुछ कर सकता है। ऐसे में हमें अपने मानसिक स्वस्थ रखना अति आवश्यक है । कार्यक्रम में स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा उपस्थित 25 लोगों को निशुल्क चश्मा का वितरण किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुख्य विकास अधिकारी डॉक्टर संतोष चक, सीएमएस राजेंद्र प्रसाद, एडिशनल सीएमओ बीएन सिंह सहित अन्य अधिकारी व स्वास्थ्य कर्मी मौजूद रहे।
