#iranfmsaysusbeggingindiaandtheworldtobuyrussianoil

"Capturing Holi Splendor: Rohan Saha's Lens Meets Harakutir's Vibrant Celebrations and Kolkata's Iconic Rolls-Royce Procession"

The Rolls-Royce Holi procession in Kolkata has a rich history dating back to 1921 when the car was imported from England by Mukund Lal Bagla, a prominent Marwari businessman. The tradition began when his son, Ram Kumar Bagla, started using the Rolls-Royce to carry Radha-Krishna idols during Holi, a practice continued by the family. Over time, the event has evolved into a grand celebration, attracting thousands of devotees and spectators. The procession typically starts at the Satyanarayan Jee Temple, winding through iconic Kolkata streets like Howrah Bridge and Burrabazar, showcasing the city's cultural heritage. The Rolls-Royce itself is a symbol of luxury and tradition, beautifully decorated with flowers and colors for the occasion. The Rolls-Royce, once owned by Rudyard Kipling, is adorned with flowers and colors, accompanied by traditional music and dance. Devotees and spectators join the procession, throwing gulal and celebrating the festival. This event blends heritage, spirituality, and joy, making it a must-see Holi celebration in Kolkata.

The Rolls-Roycle Holi 2026 was captured very uniquely by Mr. Rohan Saha, who is a rising youth photographer who's making waves with his exceptional talent. Harakutir’s iconic Holi festivities began this monday, with the traditional Holika Dahan ceremony, where a 15 feet tall effigy, made of of hay and wood was set up on fire in a bonfire to symbolize the victory of good over evil. The event was marked by prayers, chanting, and the offering of cimar (puffs of burning cow dung) to ward off evil spirits. The tradition comes from a story in the Bhagavata Purana about the demon king Hiranyakashipu. He wanted everyone to worship him instead of Vishnu. However, his son Prahlada remained a devoted follower of Vishnu. Angry with his son, Hiranyakashipu asked his sister Holika, who had a boon that protected her from fire, to sit in a burning pyre with Prahlada on her lap. But due to divine protection, Prahlada survived while Holika was burned to ashes.

The next day, Harakutir came alive with the sounds of laughter and music as people gathered to celebrate Rangwali Holi. The air was filled with the sweet scent of colors, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement. Their celebration featured traditional Thandai, , a spiced milk drink, and gujiya, a sweet pastry filled with khoya and nuts alongside other Bengali sweets. The evening was filled with soul-stirring performances, including traditional dance and music for their Kuldevta Sree Sree Sridhar Narayan Jew, which ages to 1692 and has been worshipped by eminent saints like Ramakrishna Parhamhans Deb, Shri Shri Mohanananda Brahmachari, Sadhak Bamakhepa and Trailanga Swami to name a few. The deity alongside others was placed in a all silver throne or “jhula” in their adi thakurghar or place of worship.

Sacred School of Business Sets a New Benchmark for Career-Linked Management Education in India

Noida, India – February 2026 As India’s job market continues to evolve toward skill-based hiring and performance-driven roles, Sacred School of Business (SSB) is emerging as a strong example of how professional education can directly translate into employment and long-term career growth. With its flagship Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Sales & Marketing, the institution is redefining how young professionals transition from learning environments into corporate leadership pathways.

Founded in 2019, Sacred School of Business was established with a clear purpose: to close the gap between academic qualifications and real-world employability. The institution was built on the belief that education should not end with a certificate, but with a sustainable career. This philosophy has guided the design of its programs, faculty engagement, industry partnerships, and placement structure.

At the heart of SSB’s success is its six-month PGP in Sales & Marketing, a program designed to make learners job-ready through a blend of classroom learning and real corporate exposure. The program begins with structured training in sales execution, marketing strategy, business communication, and corporate professionalism, followed by a transition into full-time, paid roles with partner companies. This integrated model allows students to earn while they learn, apply concepts in live business settings, and build professional credibility from the early stages of their careers.

Unlike traditional postgraduate programs that defer employability to the end of the academic cycle, SSB embeds placement preparation throughout the learning journey. Students receive continuous guidance in interview readiness, resume positioning, and professional negotiation, ensuring that they are prepared not only to secure roles but to perform and grow within them. Alumni from recent batches are now working across healthcare, FMCG, banking and insurance, IT sales, education, logistics, real estate, automobile, and e-commerce sectors, holding roles in sales leadership, operations, business development, and account management.

Leadership has played a critical role in shaping this outcome-driven model. Founder and CEO Sanjeev Singh has consistently emphasized the importance of aligning education with real hiring needs, focusing on confidence, execution, and professional discipline. Supporting this vision is the institution’s business leadership, including Sudhanshu Shekhar, whose background in sales strategy, planning, and market execution has strengthened industry engagement and employer alignment. Together, the leadership team has positioned Sacred School of Business as a performance-focused institution rather than a theory-led academic center.

Institutional credibility further strengthens this positioning. Sacred School of Business operates as an IIM Bodh Gaya–incubated and government-funded initiative, providing a strong foundation for quality assurance, curriculum relevance, and long-term scalability. This backing has enabled the institute to prioritize outcomes, employer trust, and learner success over short-term enrollment-driven goals.

From its headquarters in Noida, Sacred School of Business continues to expand its corporate partnerships and placement network, responding to the growing demand for professionals who can contribute from day one. As India’s education ecosystem increasingly shifts toward accountability, skill validation, and employment outcomes, SSB’s model offers a practical alternative to conventional management education.

With a clear mission, strong leadership, and a flagship program built around real careers rather than academic abstraction, Sacred School of Business is steadily positioning itself as a trusted platform for developing the next generation of sales and marketing professionals in India.

At Sahityam (National Literature Festival,Chandigarh)2026, Anish Kanjilal Explores the Convergence of Literature, Leadership and Change

3rd February, Mohali:

“It is said that books do not merely narrate stories; they create stories within us.” With this resonant observation, author and speaker Anish Kanjilal inaugurated an atmosphere of reflection and intellectual vigor at Sahityam 2026, hosted by CGC University, Mohali. Widely regarded as one of India’s largest literature festivals, Sahityam emerged as a dynamic confluence of ideas, scholarship, and the enduring influence of the written word.

The university campus, transformed into a vibrant literary arena, welcomed thousands of books and an equally enthusiastic gathering of readers, scholars, and students. Day One unfolded as a compelling exchange between celebrated voices and inquisitive young minds, united by a shared curiosity about literature’s role in shaping contemporary thought.

A Confluence of Distinguished Voices

The opening day featured an eclectic panel of distinguished personalities, including author and speaker Anish Kanjilal, actress Pankhuri Gidwani, journalist Navjot Randhawa, and Olympian Ashish Kumar Chaudhary. The discussions traversed an expansive intellectual terrain—literature, leadership, language, and the evolving aspirations of Generation Z.

Reflecting on his session, Kanjilal observed that the dialogue flowed organically “from literature to leadership,” underscoring a central premise: books are not confined to shelves; they shape ideologies, movements, and nations.

Language in the Age of Gen Z

One of the most engaging moments emerged during a light-hearted yet perceptive exchange on linguistic evolution. Addressing a predominantly Gen Z audience, Kanjilal humorously juxtaposed traditional expressions such as “alright” and “okay” with today’s minimalist “K.”

Beneath the humor lay a deeper philosophical reflection. Language, he asserted, is in perpetual evolution. “Change is the greatest constant,” he remarked, describing language not as a static construct but as an ongoing progression.

Drawing from both philosophy and science, he invoked the concept of “progression” articulated by Swami Vivekananda, and alluded to notions resembling “time bending” long before they entered mainstream scientific discourse. His larger argument was unmistakable: literature, philosophy, and science do not exist in isolation; they intersect and inform one another in profound ways.

The Transformative Power of Words

Kanjilal reminded the audience that language has repeatedly altered the course of history. Citing Winston Churchill, who famously “mobilised the English language and sent it into battle,” he highlighted how Churchill’s wartime speeches during World War II rekindled national resolve at a moment of existential crisis.

Language, therefore, is not passive expression; it is an instrument of resilience and transformation.

At the same time, he encouraged students to preserve the dignity and richness of language even amid its evolution. A robust vocabulary, he argued, fosters confidence and clarity of thought. Words imbued with nuance—such as “bewitching”—or idiomatic expressions like “boil down to” enhance not merely communication but cognition itself.

Literature as the Architect of Leadership

The discourse expanded beyond language to examine literature’s profound influence on leadership and social transformation.

Kanjilal referenced Leo Tolstoy to illustrate how storytelling carries deep moral and philosophical resonance. Tolstoy’s reflections on greed, morality, and human responsibility profoundly influenced Mahatma Gandhi, particularly in shaping his philosophy of non-violence and Satyagraha. Gandhi’s intellectual formation was further enriched by thinkers such as John Ruskin—clear testimony to how books quietly shape world-altering leaders.

The conversation then turned to political philosophy. Karl Marx’s intellectual journey—from philosophical inquiry to political economy following the “theft of wood” debates of 1842—culminated in seminal works such as The Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital. Regardless of ideological alignment, Kanjilal noted, the global impact of Marx’s writings is indisputable. They reshaped geopolitics, influenced revolutions, and contributed significantly to the balance of power in the modern world.

“Imagine a world without communism,” he reflected—not as advocacy, but as recognition of literature’s far-reaching consequences.

From Tolstoy to Marx, from Gandhi to global superpowers, the underlying message was unequivocal: ideas inscribed in books possess the power to transform societies.

The Contemporary Challenge of Teaching and Oratory

The festival also addressed the challenges confronting educators and public speakers in an era marked by shrinking attention spans and digital distractions. Teaching and effective oratory, participants acknowledged, demand renewed adaptability. Yet the remedy, Kanjilal suggested, remains timeless: reading.

A disciplined reading habit cultivates depth, patience, and intellectual rigor. Confidence, he emphasised, is born of knowledge. A well-read mind, he asserted, can command silence even in a restless crowd.

He encapsulated his message in a single imperative: “Read”—perhaps, he suggested, the most powerful word in the English language.

A Call to Intellectual Commitment

Concluding the day’s deliberations, Kanjilal invoked a Scottish proverb: “Many a mickle makes a muckle,” underscoring that incremental intellectual efforts accumulate into transformative change. Literature, he reiterated, intertwines with politics, economics, science, and leadership in ways both subtle and monumental.

In an age defined by rapid linguistic, technological, and ideological evolution, Sahityam 2026 stands as a reminder that books remain humanity’s most steadfast companions. They challenge, refine, and prepare us—often quietly—for leadership and responsibility.

At CGC University, Mohali, Sahityam is not merely a festival. It is a reaffirmation that stories do not conclude on the final page—they begin within us.
