झारखंड विधानसभा के छठे सत्र के पांचवें (बजट) सत्र के शुरू होने से पूर्व, मुख्यमंत्री कक्ष में आयोजित इस बैठक में कई नीतिगत निर्णय लिए गए। यह सत्र 18 फरवरी से 19 मार्च 2026 तक चलेगा।

Kanjilal reminded the audience that language has repeatedly altered the course of history. Citing Winston Churchill, who famously “mobilised the English language and sent it into battle,” he highlighted how Churchill’s wartime speeches during World War II rekindled national resolve at a moment of existential crisis.

At the same time, he encouraged students to preserve the dignity and richness of language even amid its evolution. A robust vocabulary, he argued, fosters confidence and clarity of thought. Words imbued with nuance—such as “bewitching”—or idiomatic expressions like “boil down to” enhance not merely communication but cognition itself.

Kanjilal referenced Leo Tolstoy to illustrate how storytelling carries deep moral and philosophical resonance. Tolstoy’s reflections on greed, morality, and human responsibility profoundly influenced Mahatma Gandhi, particularly in shaping his philosophy of non-violence and Satyagraha. Gandhi’s intellectual formation was further enriched by thinkers such as John Ruskin—clear testimony to how books quietly shape world-altering leaders.

Karl Marx’s intellectual journey—from philosophical inquiry to political economy following the “theft of wood” debates of 1842—culminated in seminal works such as The Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital. Teaching and effective oratory, participants acknowledged, demand renewed adaptability. Yet the remedy, Kanjilal suggested, remains timeless: reading.

A disciplined reading habit cultivates depth, patience, and intellectual rigor. Confidence, he emphasised, is born of knowledge. A well-read mind, he asserted, can command silence even in a restless crowd.

He encapsulated his message in a single imperative: “Read”—perhaps, he suggested, the most powerful word in the English language.

Concluding the day’s deliberations, Kanjilal invoked a Scottish proverb: “Many a mickle makes a muckle,” underscoring that incremental intellectual efforts accumulate into transformative change. Guntur, Andhra Pradesh:The Science City of Andhra Pradesh successfully hosted the South India Rocket Challenge on 23rd January 2026 at Vignan University Guntur, marking a historic milestone as India’s first-ever large-scale student rocket challenge conducted outside the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). One of the key highlights of this year’s regional rounds was the strong participation and standout performances by students from GSG partner schools—including Witty International School, Glendale Academy, Vikaasa Group, One World International School, and Global Indian International School—who even emerged as winners across multiple categories. These achievements reflect GSG’s vision of nurturing young talent through structured exposure and professional performance opportunities, a vision that aligns seamlessly with FSM’s mission to promote artistic excellence. Together, GSG and FSM are all set to provide students with a credible, industry-ready platform that not only showcases their skills but also builds confidence and supports their creative growth.
For many students, the regional rounds marked an important milestone in their Band-It journey—offering a first opportunity to perform on a professional stage before experienced jury members and live audiences. From emotionally expressive vocal performances and technically refined instrumental pieces to powerful dance routines and confident speech & drama presentations, the regional rounds showcased not just talent, but also discipline, preparation, and artistic depth.
Band-It’s distinctive focus on learning beyond competition continued to be a defining feature of the event. Participants received constructive feedback from expert jury members, helping them gain insights into technique, stage presence, and performance maturity. Parents and educators alike appreciated Band-It’s emphasis on confidence-building, artistic growth, and experiential learning rather than competition alone.
Speaking on the success of the regionals, the organising team shared, “Band-It is designed to be a journey of growth for students. The regional rounds are not just qualifiers—they are experiences that shape confidence, discipline, and a lifelong connection with the performing arts.”
Winners and shortlisted participants from the regional rounds are all set to advance to the highly anticipated FSM x GSG Band-It 2025 Grand Finale, scheduled to take place on 15th January 2026 at St. Andrews Auditorium, Mumbai. The Grand Finale promises to be a mega celebration of talent, bringing together the best performers from across India on one prestigious stage.
Adding to the excitement, the Grand Finale will feature celebrity appearances by Sanam Puri and his band, one of India’s most popular independent music acts. Known for their strong youth connect and musical excellence, Sanam’s presence is expected to inspire young performers and elevate the finale into a truly memorable experience.
Now in its 9th edition, Band-It has inspired and empowered over 20,000 students across India, growing steadily into a nationally recognised performing arts platform. Supported by Furtados’ 150+ years of legacy in music education and instruments, the successful completion of the Band-It 2025 regional rounds celebrates the passion, hard work, and remarkable talent of young performers from across the country. More than a competition, Band-It continues to open doors—offering students valuable exposure, confidence, and meaningful national-level opportunities in the performing arts.

मुख्यमंत्री श्री हेमन्त सोरेन के विजन के अनुरूप झारखंड की प्राचीन और अमूल्य मेगालिथ (Megalith) और मोनोलिथ (Monolith) विरासत को विश्व पटल पर लाने की कवायद शुरू हो गई है। झारखंड सरकार के मंत्री श्री सुदिव्य कुमार के नेतृत्व में एक उच्च स्तरीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने यूनाइटेड किंगडम के दौरे पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय पुरातत्व और संरक्षण विशेषज्ञों के साथ महत्वपूर्ण बैठकें कीं।
विश्व धरोहर (UNESCO World Heritage) की ओर बढ़ते कदम
बैठक का मुख्य उद्देश्य झारखंड के प्राचीन पत्थरों और ऐतिहासिक संरचनाओं का वैज्ञानिक दस्तावेजीकरण (Documentation) और पुनर्स्थापन करना है। चर्चा में इस बात पर विशेष जोर दिया गया कि कैसे इन संरचनाओं को यूनेस्को की विश्व धरोहर सूची में शामिल करने के लिए एक ठोस प्रस्ताव तैयार किया जाए।

प्रमुख संस्थानों के साथ तकनीकी सहयोग
प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने लंदन के विख्यात संस्थानों और विशेषज्ञ समूहों के साथ संवाद किया, जिनमें प्रमुख हैं:

भविष्य का रोडमैप
राज्य सरकार इन बैठकों से प्राप्त सुझावों के आधार पर एक व्यावहारिक रोडमैप तैयार करेगी। इसमें अंतरराष्ट्रीय इंजीनियरिंग और परामर्श के अनुभवों का लाभ उठाकर झारखंड की मेगालिथिक विरासत का सांस्कृतिक और शैक्षणिक स्तर पर विकास किया जाएगा।

रांची: झारखंड के निर्माण के 25वें वर्ष में राज्य एक बड़ी वैश्विक छलांग लगाने के लिए तैयार है। विश्व आर्थिक मंच (World Economic Forum) की दावोस बैठक में झारखंड की भागीदारी महज एक संवाद नहीं, बल्कि भारत की आर्थिक प्रगति के लिए एक 'टर्निंग प्वाइंट' साबित होने वाली है। मुख्यमंत्री सचिवालय द्वारा जारी बयान के अनुसार, झारखंड अब विश्व के विकास की अगली कहानी को आकार देने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है।

प्रमुख रणनीतिक बिंदु:
1. खनिजों से औद्योगिक क्रांति तक: झारखंड, जो कोयला, लौह अयस्क, तांबा और यूरेनियम जैसे महत्वपूर्ण खनिजों से संपन्न है, अब खुद को केवल संसाधनों के स्रोत के रूप में नहीं, बल्कि मूल्यवर्धित उद्योगों (Value-added industries) और सतत आपूर्ति श्रृंखला (Sustainable Supply Chain) के भागीदार के रूप में पेश करेगा।

रांची: झारखंड के इतिहास में एक नया अध्याय जुड़ने जा रहा है। राज्य बनने के 25 वर्ष पूरे होने के शुभ अवसर पर, झारखंड पहली बार स्विट्जरलैंड के दावोस में आयोजित होने वाले विश्व आर्थिक मंच (World Economic Forum) की वार्षिक बैठक में भाग लेगा। भारत की ओर से भाग लेने वाले 10 विशिष्ट राज्यों की सूची में झारखंड को शामिल किया गया है, जो राज्य की बदलती आर्थिक प्राथमिकताओं और सुशासन का प्रमाण है।

प्रकृति और प्रगति का संतुलन दावोस में झारखंड की भागीदारी का मुख्य विषय (Theme) “प्रकृति के साथ सामंजस्यपूर्ण विकास” रखा गया है। मुख्यमंत्री हेमन्त सोरेन वैश्विक मंच पर यह संदेश देंगे कि कैसे एक खनिज और वन संपदा से समृद्ध राज्य, पर्यावरण की रक्षा करते हुए औद्योगिक विकास और सामाजिक समानता को बढ़ावा दे रहा है।

इन प्रमुख क्षेत्रों पर होगी चर्चा विश्व आर्थिक सम्मेलन के दौरान झारखंड का प्रतिनिधिमंडल निम्नलिखित विषयों पर केंद्रित सत्रों में भाग लेगा:

इलेक्ट्रिक मोबिलिटी और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा: राज्य को ग्रीन एनर्जी हब बनाने की दिशा में संवाद।

ऊर्जा सुरक्षा और क्रिटिकल मिनरल्स: झारखंड के प्रचुर खनिज संसाधनों का सतत दोहन।

महिला सशक्तिकरण और जैव-अर्थव्यवस्था: ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था और महिलाओं की आर्थिक भागीदारी को वैश्विक पहचान दिलाना।

खाद्य प्रसंस्करण और पर्यटन: राज्य की समृद्ध संस्कृति और पर्यटन संभावनाओं को निवेशकों के सामने रखना।

वैश्विक साझेदारी का उद्देश्य इस यात्रा का उद्देश्य बहुपक्षीय संस्थानों, निजी क्षेत्र के हितधारकों और विदेशी सरकारों के साथ साझेदारी को मजबूत करना है। मुख्यमंत्री कई द्विपक्षीय बैठकों (Bilateral Meetings) की मेजबानी करेंगे, जिससे राज्य में बड़े पैमाने पर विदेशी निवेश और अत्याधुनिक तकनीक आने की संभावना बढ़ेगी।
