   आज़मगढ़  । शासन के निर्देश के क्रम में बिद्युत उपभोक्ताओ की समस्या के निदान के लिए तीन दिवसीय मेगा कैम्प का आयोजन उपखण्ड अधिकारी विद्युत फूलपुर भूप सिह की अध्यक्षता में 17 18 और 19 जुलाई  2025 को आयोजित होगा । उपखंड अधिकारी फूलपुर भूप सिंह ने बताया कि मेगा कैम्प का आयोजन   सुबह 20 से 5 बजे शाम तक चलेगा। जिसमे विद्युत उपभोक्ताओ की बिद्युत बिल संशोधन के अलावा नए बिद्युत कनेक्शन, कनेक्शन भार बृद्धि ,खराब मीटर विधा परिवर्तन, बिल जमा से सम्बंधित सभी शिकायतों का निस्तारण किया जाएगा ।इस मेगा कैम्प से बिद्युत उपभोक्ताओ को एक ही स्थान पर सभी समस्याओ का निदान किया जाएगा ।इस मेगा कैम्प लगाए जाने के सम्बंध में उपखण्ड अधिकारी बिद्युत फूलपुर भूपसिह ने बताया कि सरकार की मंशा है । एक ही स्थान पर कैम्प लगा कर बिद्युत उपभोक्ताओ के समस्या का निस्तारण हो।  
  
 

बिहार में मतदाता सूची पुनरीक्षण: 86.32% गणना प्रपत्र जमा, अंतिम 10 दिनों में बीएलओ करेंगे घर-घर संपर्क

पटना, 15 जुलाई 2025 – बिहार में चल रहे विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण (SIR) अभियान के तहत मतदाता सूची को अद्यतन करने का कार्य तेजी से जारी है। अब तक राज्य में 86.32% गणना प्रपत्र (Enumeration Forms - EF) एकत्र किए जा चुके हैं, और शेष मतदाताओं से संपर्क स्थापित करने के लिए लगभग 1 लाख बीएलओ (बूथ लेवल ऑफिसर) जल्द ही घर-घर जाकर सर्वेक्षण का तीसरा दौर शुरू करेंगे। यह अभियान यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए है कि कोई भी पात्र मतदाता प्रारूप मतदाता सूची में शामिल होने से वंचित न रहे।

  


राज्य में कुल 7,89,69,844 मतदाताओं में से 6,81,67,861 ने अपने गणना प्रपत्र जमा कर दिए हैं। मृत, स्थायी रूप से स्थानांतरित और एक से अधिक स्थानों पर नामांकित व्यक्तियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, एसआईआर के ईएफ संग्रह चरण में बिहार के लगभग 7.9 करोड़ मतदाताओं में से 90.84% को कवर किया गया है। अब 25 जुलाई की अंतिम समय-सीमा से पहले केवल 9.16% मतदाताओं को अपने भरे हुए ईएफ जमा करने हैं।

शेष मतदाताओं को समय पर अपने प्रपत्र भरने और 1 अगस्त, 2025 को प्रकाशित होने वाली प्रारूप मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम शामिल कराने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किया जा रहा है। बिहार के सभी 261 शहरी स्थानीय निकायों (ULBs) के 5,683 वार्डों में विशेष शिविर स्थापित किए गए हैं और समाचार पत्रों में विज्ञापन भी जारी किए गए हैं। बीएलओ मतदाताओं को अपने मोबाइल फोन का उपयोग करके ECINet ऐप या https://voters.eci.gov.in पर ऑनलाइन फॉर्म के माध्यम से अपने फॉर्म ऑनलाइन भरने के लिए भी प्रोत्साहित कर रहे हैं।
ECINet के माध्यम से, मतदाता अपने EF ऑनलाइन भर सकते हैं और 2003 ईआर में अपने नाम भी खोज सकते हैं। वे ECINet ऐप का उपयोग करके अपने बीएलओ सहित अपने चुनाव अधिकारियों से भी जुड़ सकते हैं। आज शाम 6.00 बजे तक प्लेटफॉर्म पर 6.20 करोड़ से अधिक गणना प्रपत्र अपलोड किए जा चुके हैं। अपने ईएफ जमा करने की स्थिति की जांच के लिए एक नया मॉड्यूल आज रात https://voters.eci.gov.in पर लाइव हो जाएगा।

बीएलओ के प्रयासों में सभी राजनीतिक दलों द्वारा नियुक्त 1.5 लाख बीएलए (बूथ लेवल एजेंट) भी सहायता कर रहे हैं, जिनमें से प्रत्येक प्रतिदिन 50 ईएफ तक प्रमाणित और जमा कर सकता है। शहरी क्षेत्रों में किसी भी पात्र मतदाता के छूटने को रोकने के लिए, सभी 261 शहरी स्थानीय निकायों (ULBs) के सभी 5,683 वार्डों में विशेष शिविर भी लगाए जा रहे हैं।

लखनऊ । उत्तर प्रदेश आर्थिक अपराध अनुसंधान संगठन (EOW की जून 2025 के कार्य प्रदर्शन की मासिक समीक्षा बैठक शुक्रवार को लखनऊ स्थित पुलिस मुख्यालय में सम्पन्न हुई। इस समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता पुलिस महानिदेशक EOW नीरा रावत ने की। उन्होंने कहा कि आर्थिक अपराधों पर नकेल कसने के लिए कार्य में तत्परता, पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही अनिवार्य है। प्रत्येक अधिकारी यह सुनिश्चित करे कि दोषियों को न्यायालय से सजा मिले और जनता में ईओडब्लू की सख्त छवि बनी रहे।

पिछले कुछ समय से कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर अपनी ही पार्टी पर हमलावर हैं। अब थरूर ने 1975 में लगी इमरजेंसी पर सवाल उठाए हैं। थरूर ने इमरजेंसी पर एक आर्टिकल लिखा है और इसमें आपातकाल की जमकर आलोचना की है। उन्होंने आपातकाल को लेकर कांग्रेस को घेरा है। थरूर ने कहा कि आपातकाल के नाम पर आजादी छीनी गई।उन्होंने आपातकाल में इंदिरा गांधी और संजय गांधी के कामों को लेकर सवाल उठाए।

मलयालम भाषा के अखबार 'दीपिका' में गुरुवार को प्रकाशित अपने लेख में शशि थरूर ने आपातकाल को सिर्फ भारतीय इतिहास के 'काले अध्याय' के रूप में याद नहीं करके, इससे सबक लेने की बात कही। उन्होंने कहा कि अनुशासन और व्यवस्था के लिए उठाए गए कदम कई बार ऐसी क्रूरता में बदल जाते हैं, जिन्हें किसी भी तरह उचित नहीं ठहराया जा सकता।

दुनिया के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र ने अपनी सांस रोक ली-थरूर
अपने लेख में कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर ने 25 जून 1975 और 21 मार्च 1977 के बीच प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी द्वारा घोषित आपातकाल के काले युग को याद किया। थरूर ने कहा, 25 जून, 1975 को भारत एक नई रियालिटी के साथ जागा। हवाएं सामान्य सरकारी घोषणाओं से नहीं, बल्कि एक भयावह आदेश से गूंज रही थीं। इमरजेंसी की घोषणा कर दी गई थी। 21 महीनों तक, मौलिक अधिकारों को सस्पेंड कर दिया गया, प्रेस पर लगाम लगा दी गई और राजनीतिक असहमति को बेरहमी से दबा दिया गया। दुनिया के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र ने अपनी सांस रोक ली। 50 साल बाद भी, वो काल भारतीयों की याद में “आपातकाल” के रूप में जिंदा है।

संजय गांधी ने जबरन नसबंदी अभियान चलाया-थरूर
आर्टिकल में आगे कहा गया, अनुशासन और व्यवस्था के लिए किए गए प्रयास क्रूरता में बदल दिए गए। जिन्हें उचित नहीं ठहराया जा सकता। थरूर ने कहा कि इंदिरा गांधी के पुत्र संजय गांधी ने जबरन नसबंदी अभियान चलाया। यह आपातकाल का गलत उदाहरण बना। ग्रामीण इलाकों में मनमाने लक्ष्यों को पूरा करने के लिए हिंसा और जबरदस्ती की गई। नई दिल्ली जैसे शहरों में झुग्गियों को बेरहमी से ध्वस्त कर दिया गया और उन्हें साफ कर दिया गया। हजारों लोग बेघर हो गए। उनके कल्याण पर ध्यान नहीं दिया गया।

इंदिरा गांधी को लेकर क्या बोले थरूर
थरूर ने आगे लिखा, पीएम इंदिरा गांधी को लगा था कि सिर्फ आपातकाल की स्थिति ही आंतरिक अव्यवस्था और बाहरी खतरों से निपट सकती है। अराजक देश में अनुशासन ला सकती है। जब इमरजेंसी का ऐलान हुआ, तब मैं भारत में था, हालांकि मैं जल्द ही ग्रेजुएशन की पढ़ाई के लिए अमेरिका चला गया और बाकी की सारी चीजें वहीं दूर से देखी। जब इमरजेंसी लगी तो मैं काफी बैचेन हो गया था। भारत के वो लोग जो ज़ोरदार बहस और स्वतंत्र अभिव्यक्ति के आदी थे, एक भयावह सन्नाटे में बदल गया था। प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी ने जोर देकर कहा कि ये कठोर कदम जरूरी थे।

न्यायपालिका भारी दबाव में झुक गई-थरूर
थरूर ने कहा, न्यायपालिका इस कदम का समर्थन करने के लिए भारी दबाव में झुक गई, यहां तक कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बंदी प्रत्यक्षीकरण और नागरिकों के स्वतंत्रता के मौलिक अधिकार के निलंबन को भी बरकरार रखा। पत्रकारों, कार्यकर्ताओं और विपक्षी नेताओं को जेल की सलाखों के पीछे जाना पड़ा। व्यापक संवैधानिक उल्लंघनों ने मानवाधिकारों के हनन की एक भयावह तस्वीर को जन्म दिया। शशि थरूर ने आगे कहा, उस समय जिन लोगों ने शासन के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने का साहस किया उन सभी को हिरासत में लिया गया। उनको यातनाएं झेलनी पड़ी।

लोकतंत्र को हल्के में नहीं लेने की सलाह
थरूर ने अपने आर्टिकल में लोकतंत्र को हल्के में नहीं लेने की बात पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने इसे एक 'बहुमूल्य विरासत' बताया, जिसे लगातार संरक्षित करना आवश्यक है। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि सत्ता को केंद्रित करने, असहमति को दबाने और संविधान को दरकिनार करने का असंतोष कई रूपों में फिर सामने आ सकता है।
थरूर ने कहा कि अक्सर ऐसे कार्यों को देशहित या स्थिरता के नाम पर उचित ठहराया जाता है। इस अर्थ में, इमरजेंसी एक चेतावनी के रूप में खड़ी है। उन्होंने निष्कर्ष में कहा कि लोकतंत्र के संरक्षकों को हमेशा सतर्क रहना होगा, ताकि ऐसी स्थितियां दोबारा पैदा न हों। थरूर का यह लेख इमरजेंसी के 50 साल पूरे होने से पहले आया है।

डेस्क: · दिल्ली के मजनू का टीला में अपनी पूर्व प्रेमिका और छह महीने की बच्ची की गला रेतकर बेरहमी से हत्या करने के आरोप में एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। एक अधिकारी ने बुधवार को यह जानकारी दी। आरोपी की पहचान निखिल के रूप में हुई है, जिसकी उम्र 22 से 25 वर्ष के बीच है। उसे उत्तराखंड के हल्द्वानी से पकड़ा गया, जहां का वह मूल निवासी है। पुलिस ने बताया कि सिविल लाइंस थाने की एक टीम घटनास्थल पर पहुंची और दोनों पीड़ितों को एक कमरे में खून से लथपथ पाया।

मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, तिमारपुर स्थित एक रेस्तरां में काम करने वाले निखिल और पीड़िता के रिश्ते के बारे में दोनों के परिवार वालों को पता था और वे दोनों की शादी कराने की योजना भी बना रहे थे। बताया कि वे लगभग छह साल से रिश्ते में थे। महिला के बड़े भाई-बहनों की शादी के बाद उनके परिवार वाले उनकी शादी कराने की योजना बना रहे थे। लेकिन, निखिल ने पिछले साल से पीड़िता को पीटना शुरू कर दिया था और दोनों के बीच अक्सर झगड़े होते थे। पीड़िता हाल ही में उसके साथ रिश्ता खत्म करने के बाद अपनी सहेली के घर रहने लगी थी। उसके चले जाने से क्रोधित होकर निखिल पूर्व प्रेमिका के दोस्त के घर गया, जहां वह रह रही थी और मंगलवार दोपहर को उसने महिला और बच्ची की हत्या कर दी।

इसके बाद निखिल ने घर में आत्महत्या करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन असफल होने पर वह ​हल्द्वानी​ में अपनी बहन के घर भाग गया। आरोपी ने हत्या में इस्तेमाल चाकू को पानी से साफ किया और अपराध छिपाने के लिए उसे अपने साथ ले गया। पकड़े जाने से बचने के लिए उसने अपना मोबाइल फोन भी अपराध स्थल पर छोड़ दिया ताकि पुलिस उसे पकड़ न सके। महिला के भाई ने बताया कि उन्हें पता ही नहीं चला कि मामला कैसे बढ़ गया और खबर सुनते ही वे नैनीताल से तुरंत आ गए। उन्होंने कहा कि मेरी मां खबर सुनने के बाद से ही बेसुध हैं। हम पूरी तरह टूट चुके हैं।

पुलिस उपायुक्त राजा बंथिया ने बताया कि महिला को निखिल के साथ कई समस्याएं थी और अक्सर उनके झगड़े होते रहते थे। जिस कारण वह उसे छोड़कर सहेली (शिकायतकर्ता महिला) के परिवार के साथ रहने लगी। घटना के समय, बच्ची की मां (सूचना देने वाली महिला) अपने पति के साथ पांच-वर्षीय अपनी दूसरी बेटी को स्कूल से लाने बाहर गई हुई थी। 

पुलिस सूत्रों के अनुसार, महिला निखिल को छोड़कर चली गई थी, जिससे नाराज होकर उसने (आरोपी ने) कथित तौर पर पीड़िता की हत्या कर दी, जबकि महिला को सहारा देने के कारण उसकी सहेली से बदला लेने के लिए उसकी बेटी को भी मार डाला। दोनों मृतकों के शव उनके परिवारों को सौंप दिए गए। महिला का शव उसके परिवार वाले नैनीताल ले गए, जबकि बच्ची को दिल्ली में दफनाया जाएगा।

   आज़मगढ़  । शासन के निर्देश के क्रम में बिद्युत उपभोक्ताओ की समस्या के निदान के लिए तीन दिवसीय मेगा कैम्प का आयोजन उपखण्ड अधिकारी विद्युत फूलपुर भूप सिह की अध्यक्षता में 17 18 और 19 जुलाई  2025 को आयोजित होगा । उपखंड अधिकारी फूलपुर भूप सिंह ने बताया कि मेगा कैम्प का आयोजन   सुबह 20 से 5 बजे शाम तक चलेगा। जिसमे विद्युत उपभोक्ताओ की बिद्युत बिल संशोधन के अलावा नए बिद्युत कनेक्शन, कनेक्शन भार बृद्धि ,खराब मीटर विधा परिवर्तन, बिल जमा से सम्बंधित सभी शिकायतों का निस्तारण किया जाएगा ।इस मेगा कैम्प से बिद्युत उपभोक्ताओ को एक ही स्थान पर सभी समस्याओ का निदान किया जाएगा ।इस मेगा कैम्प लगाए जाने के सम्बंध में उपखण्ड अधिकारी बिद्युत फूलपुर भूपसिह ने बताया कि सरकार की मंशा है । एक ही स्थान पर कैम्प लगा कर बिद्युत उपभोक्ताओ के समस्या का निस्तारण हो।  
  
 

बिहार में मतदाता सूची पुनरीक्षण: 86.32% गणना प्रपत्र जमा, अंतिम 10 दिनों में बीएलओ करेंगे घर-घर संपर्क

पटना, 15 जुलाई 2025 – बिहार में चल रहे विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण (SIR) अभियान के तहत मतदाता सूची को अद्यतन करने का कार्य तेजी से जारी है। अब तक राज्य में 86.32% गणना प्रपत्र (Enumeration Forms - EF) एकत्र किए जा चुके हैं, और शेष मतदाताओं से संपर्क स्थापित करने के लिए लगभग 1 लाख बीएलओ (बूथ लेवल ऑफिसर) जल्द ही घर-घर जाकर सर्वेक्षण का तीसरा दौर शुरू करेंगे। यह अभियान यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए है कि कोई भी पात्र मतदाता प्रारूप मतदाता सूची में शामिल होने से वंचित न रहे।

  


राज्य में कुल 7,89,69,844 मतदाताओं में से 6,81,67,861 ने अपने गणना प्रपत्र जमा कर दिए हैं। मृत, स्थायी रूप से स्थानांतरित और एक से अधिक स्थानों पर नामांकित व्यक्तियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, एसआईआर के ईएफ संग्रह चरण में बिहार के लगभग 7.9 करोड़ मतदाताओं में से 90.84% को कवर किया गया है। अब 25 जुलाई की अंतिम समय-सीमा से पहले केवल 9.16% मतदाताओं को अपने भरे हुए ईएफ जमा करने हैं।

शेष मतदाताओं को समय पर अपने प्रपत्र भरने और 1 अगस्त, 2025 को प्रकाशित होने वाली प्रारूप मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम शामिल कराने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किया जा रहा है। बिहार के सभी 261 शहरी स्थानीय निकायों (ULBs) के 5,683 वार्डों में विशेष शिविर स्थापित किए गए हैं और समाचार पत्रों में विज्ञापन भी जारी किए गए हैं। बीएलओ मतदाताओं को अपने मोबाइल फोन का उपयोग करके ECINet ऐप या https://voters.eci.gov.in पर ऑनलाइन फॉर्म के माध्यम से अपने फॉर्म ऑनलाइन भरने के लिए भी प्रोत्साहित कर रहे हैं।
ECINet के माध्यम से, मतदाता अपने EF ऑनलाइन भर सकते हैं और 2003 ईआर में अपने नाम भी खोज सकते हैं। वे ECINet ऐप का उपयोग करके अपने बीएलओ सहित अपने चुनाव अधिकारियों से भी जुड़ सकते हैं। आज शाम 6.00 बजे तक प्लेटफॉर्म पर 6.20 करोड़ से अधिक गणना प्रपत्र अपलोड किए जा चुके हैं। अपने ईएफ जमा करने की स्थिति की जांच के लिए एक नया मॉड्यूल आज रात https://voters.eci.gov.in पर लाइव हो जाएगा।

बीएलओ के प्रयासों में सभी राजनीतिक दलों द्वारा नियुक्त 1.5 लाख बीएलए (बूथ लेवल एजेंट) भी सहायता कर रहे हैं, जिनमें से प्रत्येक प्रतिदिन 50 ईएफ तक प्रमाणित और जमा कर सकता है। शहरी क्षेत्रों में किसी भी पात्र मतदाता के छूटने को रोकने के लिए, सभी 261 शहरी स्थानीय निकायों (ULBs) के सभी 5,683 वार्डों में विशेष शिविर भी लगाए जा रहे हैं।

लखनऊ । उत्तर प्रदेश आर्थिक अपराध अनुसंधान संगठन (EOW की जून 2025 के कार्य प्रदर्शन की मासिक समीक्षा बैठक शुक्रवार को लखनऊ स्थित पुलिस मुख्यालय में सम्पन्न हुई। इस समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता पुलिस महानिदेशक EOW नीरा रावत ने की। उन्होंने कहा कि आर्थिक अपराधों पर नकेल कसने के लिए कार्य में तत्परता, पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही अनिवार्य है। प्रत्येक अधिकारी यह सुनिश्चित करे कि दोषियों को न्यायालय से सजा मिले और जनता में ईओडब्लू की सख्त छवि बनी रहे।

पिछले कुछ समय से कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर अपनी ही पार्टी पर हमलावर हैं। अब थरूर ने 1975 में लगी इमरजेंसी पर सवाल उठाए हैं। थरूर ने इमरजेंसी पर एक आर्टिकल लिखा है और इसमें आपातकाल की जमकर आलोचना की है। उन्होंने आपातकाल को लेकर कांग्रेस को घेरा है। थरूर ने कहा कि आपातकाल के नाम पर आजादी छीनी गई।उन्होंने आपातकाल में इंदिरा गांधी और संजय गांधी के कामों को लेकर सवाल उठाए।

मलयालम भाषा के अखबार 'दीपिका' में गुरुवार को प्रकाशित अपने लेख में शशि थरूर ने आपातकाल को सिर्फ भारतीय इतिहास के 'काले अध्याय' के रूप में याद नहीं करके, इससे सबक लेने की बात कही। उन्होंने कहा कि अनुशासन और व्यवस्था के लिए उठाए गए कदम कई बार ऐसी क्रूरता में बदल जाते हैं, जिन्हें किसी भी तरह उचित नहीं ठहराया जा सकता।

दुनिया के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र ने अपनी सांस रोक ली-थरूर
अपने लेख में कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर ने 25 जून 1975 और 21 मार्च 1977 के बीच प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी द्वारा घोषित आपातकाल के काले युग को याद किया। थरूर ने कहा, 25 जून, 1975 को भारत एक नई रियालिटी के साथ जागा। हवाएं सामान्य सरकारी घोषणाओं से नहीं, बल्कि एक भयावह आदेश से गूंज रही थीं। इमरजेंसी की घोषणा कर दी गई थी। 21 महीनों तक, मौलिक अधिकारों को सस्पेंड कर दिया गया, प्रेस पर लगाम लगा दी गई और राजनीतिक असहमति को बेरहमी से दबा दिया गया। दुनिया के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र ने अपनी सांस रोक ली। 50 साल बाद भी, वो काल भारतीयों की याद में “आपातकाल” के रूप में जिंदा है।

संजय गांधी ने जबरन नसबंदी अभियान चलाया-थरूर
आर्टिकल में आगे कहा गया, अनुशासन और व्यवस्था के लिए किए गए प्रयास क्रूरता में बदल दिए गए। जिन्हें उचित नहीं ठहराया जा सकता। थरूर ने कहा कि इंदिरा गांधी के पुत्र संजय गांधी ने जबरन नसबंदी अभियान चलाया। यह आपातकाल का गलत उदाहरण बना। ग्रामीण इलाकों में मनमाने लक्ष्यों को पूरा करने के लिए हिंसा और जबरदस्ती की गई। नई दिल्ली जैसे शहरों में झुग्गियों को बेरहमी से ध्वस्त कर दिया गया और उन्हें साफ कर दिया गया। हजारों लोग बेघर हो गए। उनके कल्याण पर ध्यान नहीं दिया गया।

इंदिरा गांधी को लेकर क्या बोले थरूर
थरूर ने आगे लिखा, पीएम इंदिरा गांधी को लगा था कि सिर्फ आपातकाल की स्थिति ही आंतरिक अव्यवस्था और बाहरी खतरों से निपट सकती है। अराजक देश में अनुशासन ला सकती है। जब इमरजेंसी का ऐलान हुआ, तब मैं भारत में था, हालांकि मैं जल्द ही ग्रेजुएशन की पढ़ाई के लिए अमेरिका चला गया और बाकी की सारी चीजें वहीं दूर से देखी। जब इमरजेंसी लगी तो मैं काफी बैचेन हो गया था। भारत के वो लोग जो ज़ोरदार बहस और स्वतंत्र अभिव्यक्ति के आदी थे, एक भयावह सन्नाटे में बदल गया था। प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी ने जोर देकर कहा कि ये कठोर कदम जरूरी थे।

न्यायपालिका भारी दबाव में झुक गई-थरूर
थरूर ने कहा, न्यायपालिका इस कदम का समर्थन करने के लिए भारी दबाव में झुक गई, यहां तक कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बंदी प्रत्यक्षीकरण और नागरिकों के स्वतंत्रता के मौलिक अधिकार के निलंबन को भी बरकरार रखा। पत्रकारों, कार्यकर्ताओं और विपक्षी नेताओं को जेल की सलाखों के पीछे जाना पड़ा। व्यापक संवैधानिक उल्लंघनों ने मानवाधिकारों के हनन की एक भयावह तस्वीर को जन्म दिया। शशि थरूर ने आगे कहा, उस समय जिन लोगों ने शासन के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने का साहस किया उन सभी को हिरासत में लिया गया। उनको यातनाएं झेलनी पड़ी।

लोकतंत्र को हल्के में नहीं लेने की सलाह
थरूर ने अपने आर्टिकल में लोकतंत्र को हल्के में नहीं लेने की बात पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने इसे एक 'बहुमूल्य विरासत' बताया, जिसे लगातार संरक्षित करना आवश्यक है। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि सत्ता को केंद्रित करने, असहमति को दबाने और संविधान को दरकिनार करने का असंतोष कई रूपों में फिर सामने आ सकता है।
थरूर ने कहा कि अक्सर ऐसे कार्यों को देशहित या स्थिरता के नाम पर उचित ठहराया जाता है। इस अर्थ में, इमरजेंसी एक चेतावनी के रूप में खड़ी है। उन्होंने निष्कर्ष में कहा कि लोकतंत्र के संरक्षकों को हमेशा सतर्क रहना होगा, ताकि ऐसी स्थितियां दोबारा पैदा न हों। थरूर का यह लेख इमरजेंसी के 50 साल पूरे होने से पहले आया है।

दूसरे युवक से हुई नजदीकी तो प्रेमी के सिर पर हुआ खून सवार, प्रेमिका और 6 माह की बच्ची का गला रेतकर बेरहमी से की हत्या


डेस्क: · दिल्ली के मजनू का टीला में अपनी पूर्व प्रेमिका और छह महीने की बच्ची की गला रेतकर बेरहमी से हत्या करने के आरोप में एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। एक अधिकारी ने बुधवार को यह जानकारी दी। आरोपी की पहचान निखिल के रूप में हुई है, जिसकी उम्र 22 से 25 वर्ष के बीच है। उसे उत्तराखंड के हल्द्वानी से पकड़ा गया, जहां का वह मूल निवासी है। पुलिस ने बताया कि सिविल लाइंस थाने की एक टीम घटनास्थल पर पहुंची और दोनों पीड़ितों को एक कमरे में खून से लथपथ पाया।

मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, तिमारपुर स्थित एक रेस्तरां में काम करने वाले निखिल और पीड़िता के रिश्ते के बारे में दोनों के परिवार वालों को पता था और वे दोनों की शादी कराने की योजना भी बना रहे थे। बताया कि वे लगभग छह साल से रिश्ते में थे। महिला के बड़े भाई-बहनों की शादी के बाद उनके परिवार वाले उनकी शादी कराने की योजना बना रहे थे। लेकिन, निखिल ने पिछले साल से पीड़िता को पीटना शुरू कर दिया था और दोनों के बीच अक्सर झगड़े होते थे। पीड़िता हाल ही में उसके साथ रिश्ता खत्म करने के बाद अपनी सहेली के घर रहने लगी थी। उसके चले जाने से क्रोधित होकर निखिल पूर्व प्रेमिका के दोस्त के घर गया, जहां वह रह रही थी और मंगलवार दोपहर को उसने महिला और बच्ची की हत्या कर दी।

इसके बाद निखिल ने घर में आत्महत्या करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन असफल होने पर वह ​हल्द्वानी​ में अपनी बहन के घर भाग गया। आरोपी ने हत्या में इस्तेमाल चाकू को पानी से साफ किया और अपराध छिपाने के लिए उसे अपने साथ ले गया। पकड़े जाने से बचने के लिए उसने अपना मोबाइल फोन भी अपराध स्थल पर छोड़ दिया ताकि पुलिस उसे पकड़ न सके। महिला के भाई ने बताया कि उन्हें पता ही नहीं चला कि मामला कैसे बढ़ गया और खबर सुनते ही वे नैनीताल से तुरंत आ गए। उन्होंने कहा कि मेरी मां खबर सुनने के बाद से ही बेसुध हैं। हम पूरी तरह टूट चुके हैं।

पुलिस उपायुक्त राजा बंथिया ने बताया कि महिला को निखिल के साथ कई समस्याएं थी और अक्सर उनके झगड़े होते रहते थे। जिस कारण वह उसे छोड़कर सहेली (शिकायतकर्ता महिला) के परिवार के साथ रहने लगी। घटना के समय, बच्ची की मां (सूचना देने वाली महिला) अपने पति के साथ पांच-वर्षीय अपनी दूसरी बेटी को स्कूल से लाने बाहर गई हुई थी। 

पुलिस सूत्रों के अनुसार, महिला निखिल को छोड़कर चली गई थी, जिससे नाराज होकर उसने (आरोपी ने) कथित तौर पर पीड़िता की हत्या कर दी, जबकि महिला को सहारा देने के कारण उसकी सहेली से बदला लेने के लिए उसकी बेटी को भी मार डाला। दोनों मृतकों के शव उनके परिवारों को सौंप दिए गए। महिला का शव उसके परिवार वाले नैनीताल ले गए, जबकि बच्ची को दिल्ली में दफनाया जाएगा।
