Finding your Voice in B2B-Lessons that shape Modern Marketing by Rohan J. Tonde, published by BookMyStory

Storytelling in B2B: The Most Powerful Way to Rise Above the Sea of Sameness

In the world of business-to-business communication, data has long been considered the backbone of decision-making. Reports, analytics, and metrics dominate conversations, shaping strategies across industries. However, as markets evolve and attention spans shrink, a new truth is emerging—data informs, but storytelling persuades.

This shift is explored in Finding Your Voice in B2B by Rohan J. Tonde, where storytelling is presented not as a creative add-on, but as a strategic necessity.

At the heart of this argument lies a powerful observation—the rise of the “B2B Sea of Sameness.” In today’s environment, organisations often rely on similar data sets, comparable insights, and nearly identical messaging. As a result, communication becomes repetitive, predictable, and easy to ignore.

This is where storytelling becomes a differentiator.

Storytelling in B2B is not about dramatization; it is about context and connection. It transforms information into narratives that are relatable, memorable, and meaningful. While numbers may highlight trends, stories explain the journey behind those numbers—the challenges, decisions, and outcomes.

Rohan Tonde emphasizes that in a “Sea of Sameness,” facts alone rarely stand out. It is the story around those facts that captures attention and builds trust.

One of the key strengths of storytelling is its ability to simplify complexity. In modern B2B environments, products and solutions are often sophisticated, making them difficult to communicate effectively. Stories act as bridges, helping audiences understand without overwhelming them.

The book also highlights storytelling as a leadership capability. Leaders who can articulate vision through stories are better equipped to inspire teams, align stakeholders, and drive change. In uncertain environments, where data may not provide all answers, stories offer direction and meaning.

Another important dimension is differentiation. In competitive markets where offerings are similar, storytelling helps create a unique identity. It brings human experience into business conversations, making interactions more engaging and impactful.

However, the book cautions against superficial storytelling. Authenticity remains critical. Stories must be grounded in real experiences and genuine insights. Without this foundation, storytelling risks becoming another layer of noise in the “Sea of Sameness.”

As digital platforms expand and content becomes more abundant, the ability to communicate meaningfully is becoming a core business skill. Storytelling enables professionals to connect beyond transactions and build lasting relationships.

Finding Your Voice in B2B ultimately positions storytelling as the bridge between data and influence. In a world where everyone has access to information, those who can craft meaningful narratives will stand apart.

Because in the “B2B Sea of Sameness,” it is not the loudest voice that wins—it is the one that resonates.

From Helping the Homeless to Inspiring a Community: The Story Behind Parramatta’s Citizen of the Year

On any given week in Western Sydney, it is not unusual to see volunteers handing out groceries, food and essential supplies to people doing it tough. At the heart of many of these efforts is community advocate Moses Vedamuthu, whose quiet dedication to helping others has now earned him the title of City of Parramatta’s Citizen of the Year.Presented during the city’s Australia Day celebrations at Parramatta Town Hall, the honour recognises Vedamuthu’s years of service supporting vulnerable members of the community through the organisation he founded, SOHAS Charity (Support Organisation for Homeless and Asylum Seekers).

What began as a simple mission to help those struggling has grown into a wide-reaching community initiative. Over the past six years, SOHAS has been delivering weekly food and grocery support to elders, homeless individuals, refugees, survivors of domestic violence, single parents and international students across six local government areas in Western Sydney, including Parramatta. The organisation has recently extended its work to communities in the Hunter Region, broadening its reach to help even more people in need.

But for Vedamuthu, providing food relief is only one part of the mission. His work has increasingly focused on creating opportunities that allow people to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.

Through SOHAS initiatives, more than 30 students have received access to free Diploma education, while migrants and refugees have been supported with resume preparation, job training and employment guidance. These efforts have already helped 28 individuals secure jobs, giving them a pathway toward stability and a fresh start.

The charity also plays an active role in raising awareness about homelessness. During National Homelessness Week, Vedamuthu and his volunteers distributed over 100 blankets and sleeping bags to people sleeping rough, offering warmth and comfort during the colder months.

Despite the recognition, Vedamuthu remains focused on the purpose behind his work.

“This is an honour that fills me with pride and purpose,” he said. “I believe being a good citizen means taking responsibility for the wellbeing of our community. Even small acts of kindness can create meaningful change in someone’s life.”

Looking ahead, Vedamuthu hopes to establish a SOHAS Community Hub, which would provide free IT and digital skills training for First Nations students, creating new pathways to education and long-term empowerment.

His efforts have already been acknowledged with several honours, including the NSW Volunteer Team of the Year Award and the Australia Day Community Group Award, reflecting the growing recognition of SOHAS’s impact across New South Wales.

For many who have received support through the organisation, Vedamuthu’s work represents more than charity—it represents compassion, opportunity and hope.

And while the Citizen of the Year award celebrates one individual, Vedamuthu believes the recognition belongs to the volunteers and supporters who share the same belief: that communities grow stronger when people look out for one another.

#cmsiddaramaiahsaysbanonsocialmediauseforbelow16

"Capturing Holi Splendor: Rohan Saha's Lens Meets Harakutir's Vibrant Celebrations and Kolkata's Iconic Rolls-Royce Procession"

The Rolls-Royce Holi procession in Kolkata has a rich history dating back to 1921 when the car was imported from England by Mukund Lal Bagla, a prominent Marwari businessman. The tradition began when his son, Ram Kumar Bagla, started using the Rolls-Royce to carry Radha-Krishna idols during Holi, a practice continued by the family. Over time, the event has evolved into a grand celebration, attracting thousands of devotees and spectators. The procession typically starts at the Satyanarayan Jee Temple, winding through iconic Kolkata streets like Howrah Bridge and Burrabazar, showcasing the city's cultural heritage. The Rolls-Royce itself is a symbol of luxury and tradition, beautifully decorated with flowers and colors for the occasion. The Rolls-Royce, once owned by Rudyard Kipling, is adorned with flowers and colors, accompanied by traditional music and dance. Devotees and spectators join the procession, throwing gulal and celebrating the festival. This event blends heritage, spirituality, and joy, making it a must-see Holi celebration in Kolkata.

The event was marked by prayers, chanting, and the offering of cimar (puffs of burning cow dung) to ward off evil spirits. The tradition comes from a story in the Bhagavata Purana about the demon king Hiranyakashipu. He wanted everyone to worship him instead of Vishnu. However, his son Prahlada remained a devoted follower of Vishnu. Angry with his son, Hiranyakashipu asked his sister Holika, who had a boon that protected her from fire, to sit in a burning pyre with Prahlada on her lap. But due to divine protection, Prahlada survived while Holika was burned to ashes.

The next day, Harakutir came alive with the sounds of laughter and music as people gathered to celebrate Rangwali Holi. The air was filled with the sweet scent of colors, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement. Their celebration featured traditional Thandai, , a spiced milk drink, and gujiya, a sweet pastry filled with khoya and nuts alongside other Bengali sweets. Rajesh Babu K Soornaad’s ‘INI’ Raises a Powerful Voice Against Drugs and Child Exploitation in Malayalam Cinema

At a time when Kerala and the rest of India are witnessing increasing concern over drug abuse among school-going children, the upcoming Malayalam film “INI - The Unknown Tomorrow”, spearheaded by producer and music composer Rajesh Babu K Soornaad, arrives as a timely and socially conscious cinematic intervention. More than just a film, INI- The Unknown Tomorrow positions itself as an organic social movement that urges families, educators, and society to confront uncomfortable realities surrounding adolescence, addiction, and child exploitation.

The film tells its story through the eyes of a 13-year-old girl, making its message deeply personal and emotionally resonant. In an era where children are exposed to negative influences at a very young age, INI - The Unknown Tomorrow asks a simple yet disturbing question: Where are today’s children heading, and what kind of future are we preparing for them?

A Story Rooted in Reality

At the heart of INI is Shivada, a young adolescent portrayed with remarkable maturity by child actor Devananda Parveen. Her performance captures the fragile emotional world of a child standing at the crossroads of innocence and harsh reality. Through Shivada’s journey, the film explores how teenage curiosity, peer pressure, and emotional vulnerability can slowly push children towards addiction and exploitation.

Rather than sensationalising drug abuse, INI- The Unknown Tomorrow presents its consequences with honesty and restraint. The narrative highlights how seemingly harmless influences within schools and social circles can turn into life-altering traps. By doing so, the film reflects the silent struggles of countless children whose voices often go unheard.

Rajesh Babu K Soornaad’s Strong Social Commitment

Producer Rajesh Babu K Soornaad, who also serves as the film’s music composer, plays a crucial role in shaping the soul of IN- The Unknown TomorrowI. His involvement goes beyond production, reflecting a deep personal commitment to using cinema as a tool for social awareness. The music composed by Rajesh Babu K Soornaad subtly enhances the emotional depth of the film without overpowering its sensitive subject matter.

Complementing this is the impactful background score by Rev. Dr. Fr. Joy Mathew, which adds intensity to crucial moments, while Biju Mookkunnur also contributes significantly to the film’s musical elements.

Honest Direction and Powerful Performances

Directed by Anil Kaarakkulam, INI- The Unknown Tomorrow adopts a direct and unfiltered storytelling style. The director does not shy away from showing uncomfortable truths—be it the silent negligence of adults, the pressures within school environments, or the fragile mental state of adolescents. The film carefully avoids glorifying substance abuse, instead focusing on its devastating impact on young lives.

Adding further strength to the narrative is actor Shanoop, who has been steadily gaining recognition in Malayalam cinema. His significant role adds emotional weight and depth, reinforcing the film’s strong social relevance.

### Strong Technical Backbone

INI - The Unknown Tomorrow is produced by Rajesh K Babu Sooranad and Sibin Davis under the banners Voks Studios and Aniva Creations. The film is supported by a dedicated and experienced technical team. Shobin C Johnny’s cinematography brings realism and authenticity to the visuals, capturing both the innocence of childhood and the darkness that slowly creeps in.

The film’s editing is handled by Jijo Babu K, ensuring a tight and emotionally engaging narrative flow. Nilambur Sunny serves as the Production Controller, Shanoop* as Project Designer, and Jayaraman Poopathy manages makeup, contributing to the film’s realistic portrayal of its characters.

A Mirror to Today’s Society

Beyond its cinematic value, INI stands as a mirror to society. School life is often described as the most beautiful phase of one’s life—a time filled with dreams, friendships, and hope. But INI dares to ask whether this is still true for today’s children. Are they truly safe? Are we, as a society, doing enough to protect them from harmful influences?

The film does not offer easy solutions. Instead, it urges parents, teachers, policymakers, and the community at large to introspect and take responsibility. Through Shivada’s story, INI reminds viewers that childhood, once lost, can never be reclaimed.

With its strong message, honest storytelling, and committed vision led by Rajesh Babu K Soornaad, INI promises to be more than just another Malayalam film—it aims to spark conversations, awareness, and action against drug abuse and child exploitation in contemporary Ind
