Rajesh Babu K Soornaad’s ‘INI’ Raises a Powerful Voice Against Drugs and Child Exploitation in Malayalam Cinema

At a time when Kerala and the rest of India are witnessing increasing concern over drug abuse among school-going children, the upcoming Malayalam film “INI - The Unknown Tomorrow”, spearheaded by producer and music composer Rajesh Babu K Soornaad, arrives as a timely and socially conscious cinematic intervention. More than just a film, INI- The Unknown Tomorrow positions itself as an organic social movement that urges families, educators, and society to confront uncomfortable realities surrounding adolescence, addiction, and child exploitation.

The film tells its story through the eyes of a 13-year-old girl, making its message deeply personal and emotionally resonant. In an era where children are exposed to negative influences at a very young age, INI - The Unknown Tomorrow asks a simple yet disturbing question: Where are today’s children heading, and what kind of future are we preparing for them?

A Story Rooted in Reality

At the heart of INI is Shivada, a young adolescent portrayed with remarkable maturity by child actor Devananda Parveen. Her performance captures the fragile emotional world of a child standing at the crossroads of innocence and harsh reality. Through Shivada’s journey, the film explores how teenage curiosity, peer pressure, and emotional vulnerability can slowly push children towards addiction and exploitation.

Rather than sensationalising drug abuse, INI- The Unknown Tomorrow presents its consequences with honesty and restraint. The narrative highlights how seemingly harmless influences within schools and social circles can turn into life-altering traps. By doing so, the film reflects the silent struggles of countless children whose voices often go unheard.

Rajesh Babu K Soornaad’s Strong Social Commitment

Producer Rajesh Babu K Soornaad, who also serves as the film’s music composer, plays a crucial role in shaping the soul of IN- The Unknown TomorrowI. His involvement goes beyond production, reflecting a deep personal commitment to using cinema as a tool for social awareness. The music composed by Rajesh Babu K Soornaad subtly enhances the emotional depth of the film without overpowering its sensitive subject matter.

Complementing this is the impactful background score by Rev. Dr. Fr. Joy Mathew, which adds intensity to crucial moments, while Biju Mookkunnur also contributes significantly to the film’s musical elements.

Honest Direction and Powerful Performances

Directed by Anil Kaarakkulam, INI- The Unknown Tomorrow adopts a direct and unfiltered storytelling style. The director does not shy away from showing uncomfortable truths—be it the silent negligence of adults, the pressures within school environments, or the fragile mental state of adolescents. The film carefully avoids glorifying substance abuse, instead focusing on its devastating impact on young lives.

Adding further strength to the narrative is actor Shanoop, who has been steadily gaining recognition in Malayalam cinema. His significant role adds emotional weight and depth, reinforcing the film’s strong social relevance.

### Strong Technical Backbone

INI - The Unknown Tomorrow is produced by Rajesh K Babu Sooranad and Sibin Davis under the banners Voks Studios and Aniva Creations. The film is supported by a dedicated and experienced technical team. Shobin C Johnny’s cinematography brings realism and authenticity to the visuals, capturing both the innocence of childhood and the darkness that slowly creeps in.

The film’s editing is handled by Jijo Babu K, ensuring a tight and emotionally engaging narrative flow. Nilambur Sunny serves as the Production Controller, Shanoop* as Project Designer, and Jayaraman Poopathy manages makeup, contributing to the film’s realistic portrayal of its characters.

A Mirror to Today’s Society

Beyond its cinematic value, INI stands as a mirror to society. School life is often described as the most beautiful phase of one’s life—a time filled with dreams, friendships, and hope. But INI dares to ask whether this is still true for today’s children. Are they truly safe? Are we, as a society, doing enough to protect them from harmful influences?

The film does not offer easy solutions. Instead, it urges parents, teachers, policymakers, and the community at large to introspect and take responsibility. Through Shivada’s story, INI reminds viewers that childhood, once lost, can never be reclaimed.

With its strong message, honest storytelling, and committed vision led by Rajesh Babu K Soornaad, INI promises to be more than just another Malayalam film—it aims to spark conversations, awareness, and action against drug abuse and child exploitation in contemporary Ind

Parvathy Ananthanarayanan Mangala: Spreading Ancient Wisdom for Modern Living

In the sacred city of Ayodhya, where timeless wisdom meets modern aspiration, Parvathy Ananthanarayanan Mangala is crafting a unique literary legacy through her initiative, Ram SwaRajya Library. A writer, thinker, and believer in the transformative power of spirituality, Parvathy has dedicated herself to bridging the gap between ancient Indian values and contemporary life.Through her collection of short spiritual fiction books, written under the pen name Ram SwaRajya, she weaves stories that draw inspiration from Lord Rama’s ideals of truth, compassion, and righteousness. Each story — designed to be read in just 15 to 20 minutes — offers readers a spark of inspiration, reminding them that age-old wisdom still holds the key to peace and purpose in the 21st century.

Her goal is simple yet profound: to make spirituality accessible and relevant to everyone, regardless of age or background.

Looking ahead, Parvathy envisions expanding the Ram SwaRajya Library to include 1,000 books that celebrate Indian culture, spirituality, and human values. Her mission is not just to write books but to build a global repository of wisdom that inspires readers to live more meaningful, compassionate lives.

*Three unknown facts about Ramayana*

Desk: Ramayana is not just about the story of the war between Ram and Ravana. This story contains various pictures of the life of the people of that era. Naturally, many anecdotes have been created - most of which are unknown to us. Three such facts are -

1) Bali of the Ramayana is the hunter named Jara of the Mahabharata who was responsible for the killing of Krishna during the Dwapara Yuga.

2) According to many Ramayanas other than Valmiki, Surpanakha was married and instigated Ravana to abduct Sita in revenge for Rama killing her husband, the 'evil-minded demon'.

3) In the last war between Rama and Ravana, Bali's son Angad played a huge role in Rama's victory. Ravana was performing a yagna before going to war. Angad and some of the monkey army arrived there to spoil the yagna, but Ravana's attention could not be diverted by anything. Finally, Angad started pulling on Queen Mandodari's braid. Even then, Ravana remained steadfast. But Mandodari taunted Ravana and said that Rama was doing so much for his wife and Ravana was unable to protect his wife from this monkey clan. After hearing this, Ravana broke the yagna and chased away Angad and his army, and needless to say, he was defeated in the war.

Prabhat Sharma: The Visionary Entrepreneur Behind Labwala’s Nationwide Diagnostic Revolution

Every great journey begins with small steps, and the story of Labwala is no different.

Born in a humble middle-class family in Jaipur, Prabhat Sharma was raised in a home where education and values were deeply rooted. His mother and father, both teachers, shaped his early outlook on life with discipline, curiosity, and compassion. These qualities became the foundation of his personality and later the backbone of his entrepreneurial journey.

From childhood, he was never afraid to try experimental things. Whether it was science models, creative projects, or simply finding new ways of doing routine tasks, his inclination towards innovation was evident. Until 8th standard, he consistently achieved top ranks in academics, but as he grew older, his focus began to shift. While his academic performance slowed down a little, his participation in co-curricular activities and practical explorations gained momentum. Looking back, this shift played an important role in preparing him for the real world—where creativity and practical skills matter as much as grades.

After completing higher secondary education, he chose to pursue a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT). This decision set the foundation for his professional career in healthcare diagnostics. Unlike many students who wait for formal education to end before working, he decided to start early.

Parallel to his studies, he took up his first job as a lab technician trainee. Handling patient samples, observing diagnostic processes, and learning the discipline of healthcare laboratories gave him strong technical knowledge at a young age. This was the beginning of a career that would span over 16 years in the diagnostic industry.

From being a technician, he gradually moved into management roles. His leadership skills and understanding of both technical and business aspects helped him climb the ladder quickly. Eventually, he became a Sales Manager in a large diagnostic center, managing teams, clients, and operations. Over the years, he worked in senior roles in reputed healthcare companies, gaining expertise in business development, customer relations, and diagnostic operations.

Life changed dramatically in 2020 with the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many professionals, he faced uncertainty when he lost his well-settled corporate job. But instead of looking at it as an end, he saw it as a new beginning.

Along with a few colleagues who were also jobless, he decided to take a bold step. They launched Labwala, with the vision of making diagnostics more accessible, reliable, and patient-friendly.

The company began with a pioneering initiative—the home collection of COVID-19 RT-PCR samples. At that time, this service was first introduced in Rajasthan, filling a crucial gap in healthcare access during the crisis. The idea of bringing diagnostic services to the doorstep resonated strongly with people, and Labwala quickly gained trust.

What started as a small initiative during the pandemic soon transformed into a fast-growing healthcare enterprise.

2021–2023 – Labwala expanded into three states, building a strong presence in diagnostic services.

By 2025 – Labwala had grown into a national brand, operating in 124 cities across 20 states in India.

Today, Labwala provides a wide range of diagnostic services including:

Blood Tests & Preventive Health Packages

Complete Full-Body Checkups with Home Sample Collection

Sonography, X-Ray, MRI, CT, and PET Scans

Specialized and advanced diagnostic tests

The company has built one of the largest phlebotomist fleets in India and established the strongest service partner network of reputed labs. This ensures quality and convenience for patients while maintaining nationwide reach.

Labwala is not just about collecting samples and delivering reports. For the first time in India, the company introduced Report Evalution—a unique value-added feature with full-body checkups. Instead of only sharing raw numbers and medical terms, Labwala goes a step further by including:

Personalized Diet Plans

Yoga & Lifestyle Recommendations

Insights into Possible Symptoms

Doctor Suggestions for further consultation

Reports available in 13 regional languages, making healthcare inclusive for all

This innovation bridges the gap between diagnostic reports and actionable healthcare guidance, empowering patients to understand and manage their health better.

The journey of Labwala is not just about business growth—it is about building a healthcare movement.

Vision: To be the Largest Diagnostic Services Network in India, providing cost-effective, reliable, and accessible diagnostic services to every common man.

Mission: To deliver healthcare with trust, affordability, and innovation, ensuring that people in every corner of India have access to world-class diagnostic services at their doorstep.

From being a young boy in Jaipur curious about experiments, to a top student till middle school, to a healthcare professional and finally an entrepreneur, Prabhat Sharma has walked a path full of challenges, learning, and growth. His 16 years of industry experience, resilience during the pandemic, and vision to serve society shaped Labwala into one of the fastest-growing diagnostic networks in India.

His story is not just about building a company; it is about turning adversity into opportunity, about showing that healthcare can be both affordable and inclusive, and about inspiring others to think beyond jobs and build solutions that truly make a difference.

The vision behind the Ram SwaRajya Library was born from Parvathy’s personal journey through emotional pain and resilience. Despite facing misunderstandings and life’s challenges, she chose not to surrender but to transform her experiences into meaningful stories that could uplift others walking similar paths. Her goal is simple yet profound: to make spirituality accessible and relevant to everyone, regardless of age or background.

Parvathy’s journey is one of courage and conviction. Leaving behind her home in Dombivli, Maharashtra, she moved to Ayodhya in July 2025, funding her dream entirely through personal savings, credit loans, and the generosity of a few well-wishers. In just 60 days, she wrote 11 books, two of which are already available on Amazon. Her dedication stands as a powerful example of what faith and determination can achieve.

Digital technology, including tools like WhatsApp, online publishing, and AI, played a vital role in turning her vision into reality—proving how tradition and technology can coexist harmoniously for a greater purpose.

In every sense, Parvathy’s work embodies the essence of humanity—using words as her instrument to heal, inspire, and elevate the collective consciousness of society.
