देहरादून। उत्तराखंड सरकार ने साहसिक पर्यटन और पर्वतारोहण को वैश्विक पहचान दिलाने की दिशा में एक ऐतिहासिक निर्णय लिया है। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के निर्देश पर उत्तराखंड पर्यटन विकास परिषद (UTDB) और वन विभाग के संयुक्त प्रयास से गढ़वाल और कुमाऊं हिमालय क्षेत्र की 83 प्रमुख हिमालयी चोटियों को पर्वतारोहण अभियानों के लिए खोल दिया गया है। यह कदम न केवल राज्य के पर्यटन इतिहास में मील का पत्थर है, बल्कि युवाओं के लिए नए अवसर और सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में रोजगार का सशक्त माध्यम भी बनेगा।
  

  
इन अधिसूचित चोटियों की ऊंचाई 5,700 मीटर से 7,756 मीटर तक है। इनमें कामेट (7,756 मीटर), नंदा देवी ईस्ट, चौखंबा समूह, त्रिशूल समूह, शिवलिंग, सतोपंथ, चांगाबांग, पंचाचूली और नीलकंठ जैसी विश्वविख्यात चोटियां शामिल हैं। ये चोटियां चमोली, उत्तरकाशी, पिथौरागढ़, बागेश्वर, रुद्रप्रयाग और टिहरी गढ़वाल जिलों में स्थित हैं।

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh:The Science City of Andhra Pradesh successfully hosted the South India Rocket Challenge on 23rd January 2026 at Vignan University Guntur, marking a historic milestone as India’s first-ever large-scale student rocket challenge conducted outside the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The event was technically designed and executed by Muskan Aerospace, with Spacekidz India serving as Co-Mentor for the challenge.


The initiative brought together school and college students from across South India, offering them hands-on exposure to real-world rocketry. Under the structured mentorship framework jointly delivered by Muskan Aerospace and Spacekidz India, more than 1,000 school teams participated in the Hydro Rocket Challenge, while over 250 college teams competed in the Chemical Rocket Challenge.Speaking at the event, Mr Venkateswarlu Kesineni, CEO, Science City of Andhra Pradesh, said,
“The South India Rocket Challenge represents a significant step in advancing experiential science education. Hosting India’s first student rocket challenge outside ISRO reflects our commitment to creating platforms where students can engage with advanced scientific concepts through practical learning.”
As the technical execution partner, Muskan Aerospace managed the complete end-to-end execution of the event, including student orientation and training, technical documentation, safety protocols, launch operations, evaluation parameters, and coordination with expert mentors and institutions.

राज्य सरकार ने भारतीय पर्वतारोहियों को बड़ी राहत देते हुए इन सभी चोटियों पर लगने वाले पीक फीस, कैंपिंग शुल्क, ट्रेल मैनेजमेंट फीस और पर्यावरण शुल्क को पूरी तरह समाप्त कर दिया है। इससे देश के युवा पर्वतारोहियों को हजारों रुपये की बचत होगी और पर्वतारोहण गतिविधियों को नया प्रोत्साहन मिलेगा।
  

  
विदेशी पर्वतारोहियों के लिए भी नियमों को सरल किया गया है। अब उनसे वन विभाग द्वारा लिया जाने वाला अभियान शुल्क समाप्त कर दिया गया है। विदेशी पर्वतारोहियों को केवल भारतीय पर्वतारोहण फाउंडेशन (IMF) द्वारा निर्धारित शुल्क ही देना होगा।
  

  
पर्वतारोहण अभियानों के लिए सभी आवश्यक अनुमतियां अब उत्तराखंड माउंटेनियरिंग परमिशन सिस्टम (UKMPS) के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन ली जा सकेंगी। इससे अनुमति प्रक्रिया पारदर्शी, त्वरित और सुविधाजनक होगी तथा कागजी औपचारिकताओं में कमी आएगी।
  

  
सरकार का मानना है कि इस पहल से उत्तराखंड को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर एक प्रमुख पर्वतारोहण और एडवेंचर टूरिज्म डेस्टिनेशन के रूप में पहचान मिलेगी। दूरस्थ और सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में पर्यटन गतिविधियां बढ़ेंगी, जिससे स्थानीय लोगों को गाइड, पोर्टर, होमस्टे और अन्य सेवाओं के माध्यम से रोजगार के नए अवसर प्राप्त होंगे।
  

  
उत्तराखंड सरकार ने देश-विदेश के सभी पर्वतारोहियों से अपील की है कि वे अभियानों के दौरान सुरक्षा मानकों का पालन करें, पर्यावरण संरक्षण के नियमों का सम्मान करें और हिमालय की संवेदनशील पारिस्थितिकी की रक्षा में सहयोग दें। यह निर्णय राज्य को साहसिक पर्यटन के क्षेत्र में नई ऊंचाइयों तक ले जाने वाला साबित होगा।
 

Science City of Andhra Pradesh Hosts India’s First-Ever Student Rocket Challenge Outside ISRO under guidance from INSpace, ISRO


Guntur, Andhra Pradesh:The Science City of Andhra Pradesh successfully hosted the South India Rocket Challenge on 23rd January 2026 at Vignan University Guntur, marking a historic milestone as India’s first-ever large-scale student rocket challenge conducted outside the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The event was technically designed and executed by Muskan Aerospace, with Spacekidz India serving as Co-Mentor for the challenge.


The initiative brought together school and college students from across South India, offering them hands-on exposure to real-world rocketry. Under the structured mentorship framework jointly delivered by Muskan Aerospace and Spacekidz India, more than 1,000 school teams participated in the Hydro Rocket Challenge, while over 250 college teams competed in the Chemical Rocket Challenge.Speaking at the event, Mr Venkateswarlu Kesineni, CEO, Science City of Andhra Pradesh, said,
“The South India Rocket Challenge represents a significant step in advancing experiential science education. Hosting India’s first student rocket challenge outside ISRO reflects our commitment to creating platforms where students can engage with advanced scientific concepts through practical learning.”
As the technical execution partner, Muskan Aerospace managed the complete end-to-end execution of the event, including student orientation and training, technical documentation, safety protocols, launch operations, evaluation parameters, and coordination with expert mentors and institutions.

“It is inspiring to see such a large number of students actively designing and launching rockets. This initiative shows that with proper mentorship and safety standards, students can meaningfully engage with advanced aerospace concepts at a young age.”
Spacekidz India, as Co-Mentor, contributed expert guidance in rocket design principles, propulsion concepts, stability analysis, and launch methodologies, strengthening the technical depth of the program.
The event also featured interactions with scientists, aerospace professionals, and academicians, inspiring students to explore careers in space science and technology. Stringent safety measures were followed throughout the program, ensuring a secure and disciplined learning environment.
With the successful hosting of the South India Rocket Challenge, Science City of Andhra Pradesh reaffirmed its role as a catalyst for scientific innovation, while Muskan Aerospace, supported by Spacekidz India, demonstrated the impact of collaborative mentorship in nurturing India’s next generation of aerospace innovators.
