ज़िलाधिकारी ने उत्तर कोयल जलाशय परियोजना के भू-अर्जन कार्य को 15 दिसंबर तक पूरा करने का दिया निर्देश


गया के ज़िलाधिकारी शशांक शुभंकर की अध्यक्षता में आज उत्तर कोयल जलाशय परियोजना (North Koel Reservoir Project) की प्रगति की विस्तृत समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की गई। यह परियोजना ₹1367.61 करोड़ की लागत से झारखंड और बिहार के बीच एक महत्वपूर्ण अंतर-राज्यीय सिंचाई और जल संसाधन परियोजना है, जो मुख्य रूप से बिहार के गया और औरंगाबाद जिलों में कृषि उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सिंचाई सुविधाएँ प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। 

उन्होंने परियोजना से संबंधित भू-अर्जन (Land Acquisition) के कार्य को 15 दिसंबर 2025 से पहले हर हाल में समाप्त करने का निर्देश संबंधित सभी अंचलाधिकारी को दिया। उन्होंने भू-अर्जन की प्रगति की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि गया जी ज़िला में 96.749 हेक्टेयर के लक्ष्य के विरुद्ध 5.350 हेक्टेयर ज़मीन प्राप्त की गई है। बैठक में बताया गया कि उत्तर कोयल जलाशय परियोजना फेज-1 के तहत कुल 206.153 एकड़ रकवा है। जिसमे मुख्य रूप से 3 अंचल के क्षेत्र पड़ता है। गुरारू अंचल में 190 एकड़ का क्षेत्र पड़ता है। इसमें 20 मौजा है और 400 से अधिक संख्या में रैयत हैं। गुरुआ अंचल में 46.50 एकड़ का क्षेत्र पड़ता है। इसमें 12 मौजा है और 450 की संख्या में रैयत हैं। कोच अंचल में 34.16 एकड़ का क्षेत्र पड़ता है। इसमें 5 मौजा है और 225 रैयत की संख्या है. ज़िलाधिकारी ने सभी 3 अंचलों के अंचलाधिकारी को निर्देश दिए हैं कि आज से ही सभी अपने क्षेत्रों में कैम्प लगाकर रैयतों का एलपीसी बनाने एवं निर्गत करवाने, कैम्प में ही बटवारा चार्ट, सहमति पत्र इत्यादि कागजात रैयतों को बनवाने में मदद करने को कहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि किस व्यक्ति के पास कितना रैयत है उसका मौजावार रैयतों की सूची तैयार करे। उन्होंने अपर समाहर्ता राजस्व को निर्देश दिया है कि प्रत्येक मौजावर एक एक अमीन कल से ही प्रतिनियुक्ति करें। इसके अलावा गुरारू अंचल के लिए भूमि सुधार उप समाहर्ता टेकारी, कोच अंचल के लिए अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी टिकारी एवं गुरुआ अंचल के लिए अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी शेरघाटी को वरीय पदाधिकारी के रूप में लगाया गया है ताकि उक्त परियोजना का प्रतिदिन दैनिक समीक्षा करेंगे एवं तेजी से भूअर्जन प्रक्रिया को पूर्ण करवाएंगे।

ज़िलाधिकारी ने जिला भूअर्जन पदाधिकारी को निर्देश दिया है कि रैयतों के बीच भूअर्जन संबंधित नोटिस तामिला तेजी से करवाने को कहा है। 

परियोजना की विवरण

उत्तर कोयल नदी झारखंड राज्य में बहती है। इसका उद्गम स्थल छोटा नागपुर पठार है और यह लातेहार जिले में प्रवेश करती है। यह नदी सोन नदी में मिल जाती है। यहां से सीधे पलामू, गढ़वा औरंगाबाद एवं गया जिले में सिंचाई प्रणाली को जोड़ता है। मुख्य नहर से शाखा नहर, शाखा नहर से वितरणी नहर- उप वितरणी नहर- लघु नहर के माध्यम से होते हुए किसानों के खेतों तक सिचाई के लिये पानी मिलता है. मुख्य नहर को पुनर्जीवित किया जा रहा है, संरचनाओं का पक्कीकरण किया जा रहा है ताकि अंतिम बिंदु तक सिचाई हेतु पानी जा सके. यह परियोजना के पूर्ण होने से गया ज़िले के लगभग 25 से 30 हजार हेक्टेयर से अधिक सिचाई क्षमता में और इजाफा होगा। इस परियोजना में मुख्य रूप से गया ज़िले के 5 अंचल क्षेत्र यथा आमस, गुरुआ, गुरारू, कोच एवं परैया में सिंचाई क्षमता बढ़ेगी. बैठक में सहायक समाहर्ता, अपर समाहर्ता राजस्व, ज़िला भूअर्जन पदाधिकारी, अनुमण्डल पदाधिकारी शेरघाटी, डीसीएलआर शेरघाटी, डीसीएलआर टिकारी, उत्तर कोयल नहर परियोजना सिंचाई विभाग के कार्यपालक अभियंता, संबंधित अंचलों के अंचल अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

राम मंदिर ध्वजारोहण कार्यक्रम के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज यानी 25 नवंबर को अयोध्या पहुंच गए हैं। पीएम मोदी का यह अयोध्या दौरा आध्यात्मिक रूप से बेहद खास है। यहां पीएम मोदी राम मंदिर के शिखर पर अभिजीत मुहूर्त में भगवा ध्वज फहराएंगे। ध्वाजारोहण का शुभ मुहूर्त 11 बजकर 52 मिनट से दोपहर 12 बजकर 35 मिनट तक है। ऐसा बताया जा रहा है कि 32 मिनट का यह शुभ योग भगवान श्रीराम के जन्म नक्षत्र अभिजीत मुहूर्त से मेल खाता है।

श्री राम जन्मभूमि मंदिर में ऐतिहासिक ‘ध्वजारोहण’ समारोह के लिए अयोध्या में सुरक्षा कड़ी कर दी गई। कार्यक्रम को लेकर 14 एसपी स्तर के अधिकारियों की तैनाती की गई है। इतना ही नहीं, सुरक्षा में 30 ASP, 90 डिप्टी एसपी, 242 इंस्पेक्टर, 1060 एसआई, 80 महिला एसआई, 3090 पुरुष हेड कांस्टेबल, 448 महिला हेड कांस्टेबल के नेतृत्व में पुलिस बलों को तैनात किया गया है। 

ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था भी मुस्तैद
साथ ही, कार्यक्रम के दौरान ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था को बेहतर बनाए रखने के लिए 16 टीआई, 130 टीएसआई और 820 ट्रैफिक सिपाही भी मुस्तैद रहेंगे। इनके अलावा एटीएस कमांडो की दो, एनएसजी स्नाइपर की दो, एंटी ड्रोन यूनिट की एक टीम भी तैनात की गई है. बम निरोधक दस्ते की 9 टीम, 15 स्पॉट चेक टीम,105 दरवाजा नुमा मेटल डिटेक्टर, 380 हाथ वाले मेटल डिटेक्टर के साथ चार साइबर कमांडो भी कार्यक्रम की सुरक्षा को लेकर मुस्तैद किए गए हैं।

अपने दमदार अभिनय के दम पर धर्मेद्र ने दर्शकों के दिलों में खास जगह बनाई। यही नहीं उन्होंने राजनीति में भी हाथ आजमाया था। भारत के पूर्व डिप्टी पीएम लालकृष्ण आडवाणी से मुलाकात के बाद उन्होंने पॉलिटिक्स में आने का फैसला लिया था। हालांकि, जल्द ही उनका राजनीति से मोहभंग हो गया। धर्मेंद्र का करियर सिनेमाई पर्दे पर जितना जादुई रहा उतना ही राजनीतिक पिच से वे निराश होकर लौटे।

बीकानेर से की राजनीतिक सफर की शुरुआत
धर्मेंद्र ने राजस्थान के बीकानेर से अपने राजनीतिक सफर की शुरुआत की थी। बीकानेर सीट से वो भारतीय जनता पार्टी के सांसद रह चुके हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी को भारी मतों से हराया था। इस चुनाव में धर्मेंद्र ने 57 हजार से ज्यादा वोटों से जीत दर्ज की और सांसद बन गए। उन्होंने इस संसदीय चुनाव में कांग्रेस के दिग्गज नेता रामेश्वर लाल डूडी को हराया था। 

आडवाणी के कहने पर आए राजनीति में
धर्मेंद्र ने राजनीति में आने का फैसला ले तो लिया, लेकिन पॉलिटिक्स उन्हें ज्यादा रास नहीं आई। आडवाणी के कहने पर राजनीति में आने वाले धर्मेंद्र का जल्द ही इससे मोहभंग हो गया। सांसद रहते हुए धर्मेंद्र भी ज्यादार समय मुंबई में व्यस्त रहते थे। इसे लेकर बीकानेर में उनकी काफी आलोचना भी हुई। शहर में उनकी गुमशुदगी के पोस्टर भी लगे थे। इसके बाद उन्होंने सक्रिय राजनीति से दूरी बना ली। सांसद के तौर पर पांच साल का कार्यकाल पूरा होने के बाद धर्मेंद्र ने राजनीति को अलविदा कह दिया।

क्यों राजनीति से हुआ मोहभंग
कई इंटरव्यू में धर्मेंद्र स्पष्ट कह चुके हैं कि राजनीति की भाषा, उसके तौर-तरीके और उसके लोग उन्हें रास नहीं आए। उनका कहना था कि उन्होंने बीकानेर के लिए कई विकास कार्य करवाए, लेकिन सत्ता और सिस्टम की उलझनों में क्रेडिट किसी और के खाते में चला जाता था। फिर धर्मेंद्र ने खुलकर मान लिया, संसद और राजनीति मेरे बस की बात नहीं थी।

पाकिस्तान के विदेश मंत्रालय ने एक बयान जारी कर कहा है कि पाकिस्तान के सिंध प्रांत के संबंध में भारतीय रक्षा मंत्री की भ्रम से भरे और खतरनाक बदलाव की मांग करने वाली टिप्पणियों की पाकिस्तान कड़ी निंदा करता है। बयान में कहा गया है कि भारतीय रक्षा मंत्री की तरफ से की गई टिप्पणी भारत की विस्तारवादी हिन्दुत्व वाली मानसिकता को दर्शाती है। पाकिस्तान ने कहा है कि राजनाथ सिंह का बयान पाकिस्तान की संप्रभुता, अंतरराष्ट्रीय कानून और 1947 में तय की गई सीमा के खिलाफ है।

राजनाथ सिंह के बयान पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए पाकिस्तानी विदेश मंत्रालय ने कश्मीर और भारत के अल्पसंख्यकों को लेकर टिप्पणी की है। पाकिस्तान की तरफ से जारी बयान में कहा गया है कि भारत को जम्मू-कश्मीर का समाधान संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद के प्रस्तावों और स्थानीय लोगों की मंशा के मुताबिक करना चाहिए। पाकिस्तान ने भारत में अल्पसंख्यकों और पूर्वोत्तर के राज्यों में हो रही हिंसा पर ध्यान देने की नसीहत दी है।

ज़िलाधिकारी ने उत्तर कोयल जलाशय परियोजना के भू-अर्जन कार्य को 15 दिसंबर तक पूरा करने का दिया निर्देश


गया के ज़िलाधिकारी शशांक शुभंकर की अध्यक्षता में आज उत्तर कोयल जलाशय परियोजना (North Koel Reservoir Project) की प्रगति की विस्तृत समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की गई। यह परियोजना ₹1367.61 करोड़ की लागत से झारखंड और बिहार के बीच एक महत्वपूर्ण अंतर-राज्यीय सिंचाई और जल संसाधन परियोजना है, जो मुख्य रूप से बिहार के गया और औरंगाबाद जिलों में कृषि उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सिंचाई सुविधाएँ प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। 

उन्होंने परियोजना से संबंधित भू-अर्जन (Land Acquisition) के कार्य को 15 दिसंबर 2025 से पहले हर हाल में समाप्त करने का निर्देश संबंधित सभी अंचलाधिकारी को दिया। उन्होंने भू-अर्जन की प्रगति की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि गया जी ज़िला में 96.749 हेक्टेयर के लक्ष्य के विरुद्ध 5.350 हेक्टेयर ज़मीन प्राप्त की गई है। बैठक में बताया गया कि उत्तर कोयल जलाशय परियोजना फेज-1 के तहत कुल 206.153 एकड़ रकवा है। जिसमे मुख्य रूप से 3 अंचल के क्षेत्र पड़ता है। गुरारू अंचल में 190 एकड़ का क्षेत्र पड़ता है। इसमें 20 मौजा है और 400 से अधिक संख्या में रैयत हैं। गुरुआ अंचल में 46.50 एकड़ का क्षेत्र पड़ता है। इसमें 12 मौजा है और 450 की संख्या में रैयत हैं। कोच अंचल में 34.16 एकड़ का क्षेत्र पड़ता है। इसमें 5 मौजा है और 225 रैयत की संख्या है. ज़िलाधिकारी ने सभी 3 अंचलों के अंचलाधिकारी को निर्देश दिए हैं कि आज से ही सभी अपने क्षेत्रों में कैम्प लगाकर रैयतों का एलपीसी बनाने एवं निर्गत करवाने, कैम्प में ही बटवारा चार्ट, सहमति पत्र इत्यादि कागजात रैयतों को बनवाने में मदद करने को कहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि किस व्यक्ति के पास कितना रैयत है उसका मौजावार रैयतों की सूची तैयार करे। उन्होंने अपर समाहर्ता राजस्व को निर्देश दिया है कि प्रत्येक मौजावर एक एक अमीन कल से ही प्रतिनियुक्ति करें। इसके अलावा गुरारू अंचल के लिए भूमि सुधार उप समाहर्ता टेकारी, कोच अंचल के लिए अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी टिकारी एवं गुरुआ अंचल के लिए अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी शेरघाटी को वरीय पदाधिकारी के रूप में लगाया गया है ताकि उक्त परियोजना का प्रतिदिन दैनिक समीक्षा करेंगे एवं तेजी से भूअर्जन प्रक्रिया को पूर्ण करवाएंगे।

ज़िलाधिकारी ने जिला भूअर्जन पदाधिकारी को निर्देश दिया है कि रैयतों के बीच भूअर्जन संबंधित नोटिस तामिला तेजी से करवाने को कहा है। 

परियोजना की विवरण

उत्तर कोयल नदी झारखंड राज्य में बहती है। इसका उद्गम स्थल छोटा नागपुर पठार है और यह लातेहार जिले में प्रवेश करती है। यह नदी सोन नदी में मिल जाती है। यहां से सीधे पलामू, गढ़वा औरंगाबाद एवं गया जिले में सिंचाई प्रणाली को जोड़ता है। मुख्य नहर से शाखा नहर, शाखा नहर से वितरणी नहर- उप वितरणी नहर- लघु नहर के माध्यम से होते हुए किसानों के खेतों तक सिचाई के लिये पानी मिलता है. मुख्य नहर को पुनर्जीवित किया जा रहा है, संरचनाओं का पक्कीकरण किया जा रहा है ताकि अंतिम बिंदु तक सिचाई हेतु पानी जा सके. यह परियोजना के पूर्ण होने से गया ज़िले के लगभग 25 से 30 हजार हेक्टेयर से अधिक सिचाई क्षमता में और इजाफा होगा। इस परियोजना में मुख्य रूप से गया ज़िले के 5 अंचल क्षेत्र यथा आमस, गुरुआ, गुरारू, कोच एवं परैया में सिंचाई क्षमता बढ़ेगी. बैठक में सहायक समाहर्ता, अपर समाहर्ता राजस्व, ज़िला भूअर्जन पदाधिकारी, अनुमण्डल पदाधिकारी शेरघाटी, डीसीएलआर शेरघाटी, डीसीएलआर टिकारी, उत्तर कोयल नहर परियोजना सिंचाई विभाग के कार्यपालक अभियंता, संबंधित अंचलों के अंचल अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

राम मंदिर ध्वजारोहण कार्यक्रम के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज यानी 25 नवंबर को अयोध्या पहुंच गए हैं। पीएम मोदी का यह अयोध्या दौरा आध्यात्मिक रूप से बेहद खास है। यहां पीएम मोदी राम मंदिर के शिखर पर अभिजीत मुहूर्त में भगवा ध्वज फहराएंगे। ध्वाजारोहण का शुभ मुहूर्त 11 बजकर 52 मिनट से दोपहर 12 बजकर 35 मिनट तक है। ऐसा बताया जा रहा है कि 32 मिनट का यह शुभ योग भगवान श्रीराम के जन्म नक्षत्र अभिजीत मुहूर्त से मेल खाता है।

सीएम योगी और राज्यपाल आनंदीबेन पटेल ने की आगवानी
साकेत कॉलेज में मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ, राज्यपाल आनंदीबेन पटेल, डिप्टी सीएम केशव प्रसाद मौर्य, ब्रजेश पाठक और स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों के साथ भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता मौजूद रहे। साकेत कॉलेज के हेलीपैड पर ही प्रधानमंत्री की अगवानी की गई।

अयोध्या में सुरक्षा कड़ी
श्री राम जन्मभूमि मंदिर में ऐतिहासिक ‘ध्वजारोहण’ समारोह के लिए अयोध्या में सुरक्षा कड़ी कर दी गई। कार्यक्रम को लेकर 14 एसपी स्तर के अधिकारियों की तैनाती की गई है। इतना ही नहीं, सुरक्षा में 30 ASP, 90 डिप्टी एसपी, 242 इंस्पेक्टर, 1060 एसआई, 80 महिला एसआई, 3090 पुरुष हेड कांस्टेबल, 448 महिला हेड कांस्टेबल के नेतृत्व में पुलिस बलों को तैनात किया गया है। 

ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था भी मुस्तैद
साथ ही, कार्यक्रम के दौरान ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था को बेहतर बनाए रखने के लिए 16 टीआई, 130 टीएसआई और 820 ट्रैफिक सिपाही भी मुस्तैद रहेंगे। इनके अलावा एटीएस कमांडो की दो, एनएसजी स्नाइपर की दो, एंटी ड्रोन यूनिट की एक टीम भी तैनात की गई है. बम निरोधक दस्ते की 9 टीम, 15 स्पॉट चेक टीम,105 दरवाजा नुमा मेटल डिटेक्टर, 380 हाथ वाले मेटल डिटेक्टर के साथ चार साइबर कमांडो भी कार्यक्रम की सुरक्षा को लेकर मुस्तैद किए गए हैं।

बॉलीबुड के ही-मैन कहे जाने वाले धर्मेंद्र ने 89 साल की उम्र में दुनिया को अलविदा कह दिया है। वह लंबे वक्त से बीमार चल रहे थे। धर्मेद्र के निधन के बाद देशभर में शोक की लहर है। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू और पीएम मोदी से लेकर बॉलीवुड के कई सेलेब्स ने दिग्गज अभिनेता को श्रद्धांजलि दी है।

अपने दमदार अभिनय के दम पर धर्मेद्र ने दर्शकों के दिलों में खास जगह बनाई। यही नहीं उन्होंने राजनीति में भी हाथ आजमाया था। भारत के पूर्व डिप्टी पीएम लालकृष्ण आडवाणी से मुलाकात के बाद उन्होंने पॉलिटिक्स में आने का फैसला लिया था। हालांकि, जल्द ही उनका राजनीति से मोहभंग हो गया। धर्मेंद्र का करियर सिनेमाई पर्दे पर जितना जादुई रहा उतना ही राजनीतिक पिच से वे निराश होकर लौटे।

बीकानेर से की राजनीतिक सफर की शुरुआत
धर्मेंद्र ने राजस्थान के बीकानेर से अपने राजनीतिक सफर की शुरुआत की थी। बीकानेर सीट से वो भारतीय जनता पार्टी के सांसद रह चुके हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी को भारी मतों से हराया था। इस चुनाव में धर्मेंद्र ने 57 हजार से ज्यादा वोटों से जीत दर्ज की और सांसद बन गए। उन्होंने इस संसदीय चुनाव में कांग्रेस के दिग्गज नेता रामेश्वर लाल डूडी को हराया था। 

आडवाणी के कहने पर आए राजनीति में
धर्मेंद्र ने राजनीति में आने का फैसला ले तो लिया, लेकिन पॉलिटिक्स उन्हें ज्यादा रास नहीं आई। आडवाणी के कहने पर राजनीति में आने वाले धर्मेंद्र का जल्द ही इससे मोहभंग हो गया। सांसद रहते हुए धर्मेंद्र भी ज्यादार समय मुंबई में व्यस्त रहते थे। इसे लेकर बीकानेर में उनकी काफी आलोचना भी हुई। शहर में उनकी गुमशुदगी के पोस्टर भी लगे थे। इसके बाद उन्होंने सक्रिय राजनीति से दूरी बना ली। सांसद के तौर पर पांच साल का कार्यकाल पूरा होने के बाद धर्मेंद्र ने राजनीति को अलविदा कह दिया।

क्यों राजनीति से हुआ मोहभंग
कई इंटरव्यू में धर्मेंद्र स्पष्ट कह चुके हैं कि राजनीति की भाषा, उसके तौर-तरीके और उसके लोग उन्हें रास नहीं आए। उनका कहना था कि उन्होंने बीकानेर के लिए कई विकास कार्य करवाए, लेकिन सत्ता और सिस्टम की उलझनों में क्रेडिट किसी और के खाते में चला जाता था। फिर धर्मेंद्र ने खुलकर मान लिया, संसद और राजनीति मेरे बस की बात नहीं थी।

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह की ओर से सिंधी समाज सम्मेलन में दिए गए एक बयान से पाकिस्तान को मिर्ची लगी है। भारत के रक्षा मंत्री ने पूर्व उपप्रधानमंत्री लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी का जिक्र करते हुए कहा था कि सभ्यतागत रूप से सिंध हमेशा भारत का हिस्सा रहा है और सीमाएं बदल सकती हैं। इस बयान से पाकिस्तान तिलमिला गया है। पाकिस्तान ने राजनाथ सिंह के इस बयान को खतरनाक और भड़काने वाला बताया है।

राजनाथ सिंह के बायन पर तिलमिलाया पाकिस्तान
पाकिस्तान के विदेश मंत्रालय ने एक बयान जारी कर कहा है कि पाकिस्तान के सिंध प्रांत के संबंध में भारतीय रक्षा मंत्री की भ्रम से भरे और खतरनाक बदलाव की मांग करने वाली टिप्पणियों की पाकिस्तान कड़ी निंदा करता है। बयान में कहा गया है कि भारतीय रक्षा मंत्री की तरफ से की गई टिप्पणी भारत की विस्तारवादी हिन्दुत्व वाली मानसिकता को दर्शाती है। पाकिस्तान ने कहा है कि राजनाथ सिंह का बयान पाकिस्तान की संप्रभुता, अंतरराष्ट्रीय कानून और 1947 में तय की गई सीमा के खिलाफ है।

पाकिस्तान ने फिर अलापा कश्मीर राग
राजनाथ सिंह के बयान पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए पाकिस्तानी विदेश मंत्रालय ने कश्मीर और भारत के अल्पसंख्यकों को लेकर टिप्पणी की है। पाकिस्तान की तरफ से जारी बयान में कहा गया है कि भारत को जम्मू-कश्मीर का समाधान संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद के प्रस्तावों और स्थानीय लोगों की मंशा के मुताबिक करना चाहिए। पाकिस्तान ने भारत में अल्पसंख्यकों और पूर्वोत्तर के राज्यों में हो रही हिंसा पर ध्यान देने की नसीहत दी है।

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने क्या कहा था?
रक्षामंत्री ने सिंधी समुदाय द्वारा दिल्ली में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, ‘‘आडवाणी जी ने अपनी एक पुस्तक में लिखा है कि सिंधी हिंदू, विशेषकर उनकी पीढ़ी के लोग, अब भी सिंध को भारत से अलग करने की बात को स्वीकार नहीं कर पाए हैं।'' पाकिस्तान का निर्माण 1947 में तत्कालीन भारत के विभाजन के परिणामस्वरूप हुआ था, और सिंधु नदी के पास का सिंध क्षेत्र तब से पाकिस्तान का हिस्सा है। उन्होंने कहा, केवल सिंध में ही नहीं, बल्कि पूरे भारत में हिंदू सिंधु नदी को पवित्र मानते थे। सिंध में कई मुसलमान भी मानते थे कि सिंधु नदी का पानी मक्का के आब-ए-जमजम (सबसे पवित्र जल) से कम पवित्र नहीं है।
