महाराष्ट्र के उपमुख्यमंत्री और राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी (एनसीपी) प्रमुख अजित पवार का बुधवार सुबह विमान हादसे में निधन हो गया। अजित का अंतिम संस्कार आज बारामती के विद्या प्रतिष्ठान मैदान में किया गया।

  

महाराष्ट्र के उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार का अंतिम संस्कार बारामती में राजकीय सम्मान के साथ किया गया। बेटे पार्थ और जय पवार ने अपने पिता को मुखाग्नि दी। अपने नेता के आखिरी दर्शन करने के लिए समर्थकों की भारी भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी। लोग नम आंखों से अजित पवार को अंतिम विदाई दी।

राष्ट्रपति और प्रधानमंत्री ने दी श्रद्धांजलि
राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के नेताओं ने उनके निधन पर शोक व्यक्त करते हुए उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने एनसीपी (एसपी) प्रमुख और अजित पवार के चाचा शरद पवार से फोन पर बात कर संवेदना प्रकट की। उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में कहा, ‘बारामती में हुए दुखद विमान हादसे से बेहद आहत हूं। इस हादसे में अपने प्रियजनों को खोने वालों के साथ मेरी संवेदनाएं हैं। ईश्वर से प्रार्थना है कि इस कठिन समय में उन्हें शक्ति और साहस मिले।

Mumbai, India Band-It 2025, supported by Furtados School of Music, India’s largest inter-school performing arts competition, wrapped up its regional rounds across 11 locations nationwide, leaving behind a trail of energy, talent, and memorable performances. Organised in collaboration with Global Schools Group, the event brought together young performers from across the country, giving students a vibrant, professional platform to express themselves through music, dance, and speech & drama.From powerful performances to moments of confidence and creativity on stage, Band-It 2025 celebrated the joy of performing and the passion of young talent in its truest form.
The Band-It 2025 regional rounds were conducted across Mumbai, Pune, Noida, Udaipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Madurai, Kolkata, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad, witnessing enthusiastic participation from leading institutions such as the Narayana Group of Schools, National Hill View Public School, Ryan International School, JBCN, along with several other schools across the country.
Hundreds of young performers participated across categories including Solo Singing, Solo Instrument, Solo Dance, Speech & Drama, Choirs, and Bands. Their performances transformed the regional rounds into a dynamic celebration of creativity, confidence, and the rich diversity of India’s performing arts talent.
One of the key highlights of this year’s regional rounds was the strong participation and standout performances by students from GSG partner schools—including Witty International School, Glendale Academy, Vikaasa Group, One World International School, and Global Indian International School—who even emerged as winners across multiple categories. These achievements reflect GSG’s vision of nurturing young talent through structured exposure and professional performance opportunities, a vision that aligns seamlessly with FSM’s mission to promote artistic excellence. Together, GSG and FSM are all set to provide students with a credible, industry-ready platform that not only showcases their skills but also builds confidence and supports their creative growth.
For many students, the regional rounds marked an important milestone in their Band-It journey—offering a first opportunity to perform on a professional stage before experienced jury members and live audiences. From emotionally expressive vocal performances and technically refined instrumental pieces to powerful dance routines and confident speech & drama presentations, the regional rounds showcased not just talent, but also discipline, preparation, and artistic depth.
Band-It’s distinctive focus on learning beyond competition continued to be a defining feature of the event. Participants received constructive feedback from expert jury members, helping them gain insights into technique, stage presence, and performance maturity. Parents and educators alike appreciated Band-It’s emphasis on confidence-building, artistic growth, and experiential learning rather than competition alone.
Speaking on the success of the regionals, the organising team shared, “Band-It is designed to be a journey of growth for students. The regional rounds are not just qualifiers—they are experiences that shape confidence, discipline, and a lifelong connection with the performing arts.”
Winners and shortlisted participants from the regional rounds are all set to advance to the highly anticipated FSM x GSG Band-It 2025 Grand Finale, scheduled to take place on 15th January 2026 at St. Andrews Auditorium, Mumbai. The Grand Finale promises to be a mega celebration of talent, bringing together the best performers from across India on one prestigious stage.
Adding to the excitement, the Grand Finale will feature celebrity appearances by Sanam Puri and his band, one of India’s most popular independent music acts. Known for their strong youth connect and musical excellence, Sanam’s presence is expected to inspire young performers and elevate the finale into a truly memorable experience.
Now in its 9th edition, Band-It has inspired and empowered over 20,000 students across India, growing steadily into a nationally recognised performing arts platform. Supported by Furtados’ 150+ years of legacy in music education and instruments, the successful completion of the Band-It 2025 regional rounds celebrates the passion, hard work, and remarkable talent of young performers from across the country. शिवसेना (यूबीटी) और मनसे मिलकर बीएमसी चुनाव लड़ेंगे। बुधवार को दोनों भाईयों ने संयुक्त प्रेस वार्ता करके इसका एलान किया। घोषणा से पहले उद्धव ठाकरे और एमएनएस प्रमुख राज ठाकरे ने अपने परिवारों के साथ शिवाजी पार्क में बालासाहेब ठाकरे के स्मारक पर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।

दोनों भाईयों ने एक ही माइक से की बात
प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में दोनों भाईयों ने एक ही माइक से अपनी बात रखी। उद्धव ठाकरे जहां बीजेपी पर हमलावर रहे तो वहीं राज ठाकरे ने साफ कर दिया कि अगल मेयर मराठी होगा और हमारा होगा। उद्धव ठाकरे ने यह तक कह दिया कि दिल्ली में बैठे लोग महाराष्ट्र से मुंबई को तोड़ने की साजिश कर रहे हैं। हम उन्हें खत्म कर देंगे।

नासिक चुनाव के लिए भी साथ आए ठाकरे ब्रदर्स
राज ठाकरे ने मंच से कहा, ‘मैं अब ऑफिशियली अपने अलायंस की घोषणा कर रहा हूं। यह अलायंस नासिक म्युनिसिपैलिटी चुनाव के लिए भी है। आज हमारी मीटिंग के बाद हम दूसरे कॉर्पोरेशन्स के लिए भी घोषणा करेंगे। मुंबई का मेयर एक महाराष्ट्रियन होगा और वह हमारी पार्टी से होगा।

सीट बंटवारे पर क्या बोले ठाकरे ब्रदर्स
दोनों भाईयों ने शिवसेना यूबीटी-महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेना (मनसे) के गठबंधन का ऐलान कर दिया है लेकिन मुंबई की 227 सीटों पर कौन कितनी पर लड़ेगा? इसका ऐलान नहीं किया। राज ठाकरे ने यह कह दिया की सीटों की संख्या मायने नहीं रखती है।
