*বাস্তুশাস্ত্রের টিপস মেনেই বাড়ির ডাস্টবিন রাখা উচিত* 


ডেস্ক : প্রতিটি বাড়িতেই ঘরের নোংরা একজায়গায় ফেলার জন্য ডাস্টবিনও রাখা থাকে। বাস্তুশাস্ত্র অনুযায়ী প্রতিটি ঘরে থাকা প্রতিটা জিনিসের বিশেষ গুরুত্ব রয়েছে। তাই বাস্তু বিশেষজ্ঞদের মতে, ঘরের যে কোনও জিনিস সঠিক দিকে না রাখা হলে তা থেকে সমস্যা তৈরি হতে পারে। এমনকি ডাস্টবিন রাখারও একটি সঠিক ও নির্দিষ্ট দিক রয়েছে। সাধারণত, বেডরুম ছাড়া বাড়ির যেখানে-সেখানে, সুবিধামত ডাস্টবিন রাখা হয়। কিন্তু বাস্তুশাস্ত্র অনুযায়ী, ডাস্টবিন সঠিক দিকে না রাখলে তা পরিবারের জন্যে অশুভ হতে পারে। পাশাপাশি ঘরের মধ্যে নেগেটিভ শক্তিরও প্রভাব পরে। বাস্তুশাস্ত্র অনুসারে ডাস্টবিন সবসময় দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিম বা উত্তর-পশ্চিম দিকে রাখা উচিত। এছাড়া উত্তর-পশ্চিম দিকে ডাস্টবিনও রাখা যেতে পারে। শাস্ত্র মতে ডাস্টবিন কখনওই উত্তর-পূর্ব দিকে রাখা উচিত নয়। কারণ এই দিক দেবতাকে উৎসর্গ করা হয়। তাই এদিকে ডাস্টবিন রাখলে বাড়ির সদস্যদের মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যের অবনতি ঘটতে পারে।

বাস্তুশাস্ত্রের বিশেষজ্ঞরা বলছেন, ডাস্টবিন দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব দিকে রাখা উচিত নয়। কারণ এদিকে ডাস্টবিন রাখলে আর্থিক সমস্যা হতে পারে বলে মনে করা হয়। এছাড়া সঞ্চিত পুঁজির ওপরও নেতিবাচক প্রভাব পড়ে। বাস্তুশাস্ত্র অনুসারে ঘরের পূর্ব ও উত্তর দিকে ডাস্টবিন রাখা উচিত নয়।তাতে যে কোনও কাজের উন্নতিতে বাধা সৃষ্টি হয়। পরিবারের সদস্যরাও অলস হতে শুরু করে। কোনও কাজ করতে ভালো লাগছে না।

Sports Desk: In one of the most exciting run-chases in Bengal Pro T20 League, Adamas Howrah Warriors successfully chased down a challenging target to outclass Rashmi Medinipur Wizards by six wickets in a thrilling match at the Eden Gardens on Monday. 

Chasing 175 to win, Adamas Howrah Warriors went over the line comfortably, scoring 175/4 in 16.1 overs. 

Shakir Habib Gandhi was the star performer, smashing an unbeaten 73 off just 38 balls to single-handedly take Howrah to victory. Enroute his match-winning knock, Gandhi hit seven fours and four sixes. He was well supported by Pramod Chandila (43 off 32). 

Earlier, put into bat after the game was reduced to 17-overs-a-side, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards posted 174/4 in the allotted overs. 

Ranjot Singh Khaira (59 off 41), Sudip Chatterjee (33 not out off 15), Vivek Singh (30 off 23) were the pick of the Medinipur batters.

Kanishk Seth, Saksham Sharma, Aamir Gani and Agastya Shukla bagged a wicket each for Howrah.

 Sports Desk :  In an exciting clash at the JU 2nd Campus Ground, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers defeated Sobisco Smashers Malda by 7 wickets in Match 9 of the Bengal Pro T20 League (Women’s). After winning the toss and opting to field, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers showcased an all-round performance that secured them the win with 10 balls to spare.

Sobisco Smashers Malda, batting first, posted a total of 140 for 5 in 20 overs. The innings was anchored by Shrabani Pal, who scored a well-crafted 55 off 48 balls (4 fours), and Sukanya Parida, who contributed 31 off 25 balls (3 fours).

For Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers, the standout bowlers were Mita Paul, who claimed 2 wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs, and Salma Khatun (U-15), who also picked up 2 wickets conceding 40 runs in her spell.

In response, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers chased down the target, finishing at 141 for 3 in 18.2 overs. The innings was dominated by Mita Paul, who played a match-winning knock of 89 off 60 balls, studded with 14 fours and a six. Parna Paul supported the chase with a quick 26 off 11 balls (2 fours, 1 six).

Among the Sobisco bowlers, Nandini Biswas was the most economical, with 1 wicket for 26 runs from 4 overs, while Riya Kumari Mahato took 1 for 5 in 1 over.

Mita Paul was adjudged the Player of the Match for her outstanding all-round performance, contributing with both bat and ball.

This win reinforces Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers' strong position in the ongoing WBPTL 2025.

*Murshidabad Kings Ride on Rishabh and Toufik Brilliance to Clinch Victory in Bengal Pro T20 League*

Sports Desk :  A commanding run chase led by Rishabh Chaudhary and Toufik Uddin Mondal powered Murshidabad Kings to a confident five-wicket win over Shrachi Rarh Tigers in Season 2 of the Bengal Pro T20 League at the iconic Eden Gardens on Sunday.

Chasing 151 for victory, Murshidabad Kings made light work of the target, reaching 151/5 in just 18.4 overs. Veteran Rishabh Chaudhary top-scored with a brisk 50 off 35 balls, setting the tone for the innings. He was ably supported by Toufik Uddin Mondal, whose calm and composed unbeaten 42 off 37 balls anchored the chase.

Earlier, Shrachi Rarh Tigers posted a competitive 150/6 after being put in to bat. Opener Kazi Junaid Saifi was the standout performer with a fluent 78 off 54 deliveries. However, regular breakthroughs by the Kings' bowling unit—led by Saksham Chaudhary, Vikas Singh, and Sukhmeet Singh, who claimed two wickets apiece—kept the Tigers in check.

Despite efforts from the Tigers’ bowling attack, with wickets shared among Ravi Kumar, Pritam Chakrabarty, Shahbaz Ahmed, and Ashutosh Kumar, the Kings held their nerve in a well-paced chase.

With this win, Murshidabad Kings continue to assert themselves as strong contenders in the
BengalProT20League Season 2.

 Sports Desk : Rashmi Medinipur Wizards displayed a superb all-round show to outclass Shrachi Rarh Tigers by 3 wickets in the women’s competition of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at the JU, 2nd Campus, Salt Lake on Sunday.

Batting first, Shrachi Rarh Tigers managed to score 102/6 in 20 overs, thanks to Piyali Ghosh (33 not out). 

Protyusha Dey, Preyosree Pandey, Chandrima Biswas and Roshni Khatun bagged a wicket each.

In reply, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards went over the line scoring 104/7 in 19.3 overs. Sasthi Mondal (30) and Ipsita Mondal (28) impressed with the bat.

 *Sobisco Smashers Malda Clinch Stunning 62-Run Win in Bengal Pro T20 League*

 Sports Desk: Sobisco Smashers Malda pulled off a remarkable turnaround to defeat Harbour Diamonds by 62 runs in the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at Eden Gardens on Sunday.

After being reduced to 22/5, Arjun Bhardwaj (63) and Kaif Ahmed (39) staged a brilliant recovery to help Sobisco post 139/7. Harbour Diamonds were then bundled out for just 77 in 15 overs, with Writtick Chatterjee starring with the ball, claiming 4 wickets for just 5 runs.

This commanding performance cements Sobisco Smashers Malda as serious contenders in the tournament.

ডেস্ক : এমন বিলাসবহুল বাড়ি একজন চোরের? অবাক হয়ে গেছে পুলিশকর্মীরা। কী নেই সেই বাড়িতে! রাজকীয় পরিবেশ, মার্বেলে মোড়া ঘর। রয়েছে দামি-দামি আসবাব। বিরাট মিউজিক সিস্টেম, ঘরের ভিতর সাজিয়ে রাখা সারি সারি পিতলের বাসন ও শিল্পকীর্তি। শুধু তাই নয়, রয়েছে শরীর চর্চার সরঞ্জাম হিসাবে ট্রেড মিল-সহ আরও অনেক কিছু। চোরের বাড়ি দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার নোদাখালি থানার ভাটকাখালি গ্রামে। গত রবিবার, ১ জুন রাতে উলুবেড়িয়ার রাজাপুর থানার পুলিশ চুরির অভিযোগে অমিত দত্ত নামে অভিযুক্তকে গ্রেপ্তার করে।

হাওড়ার গ্রামীণ এলাকার পুলিশ সুপার সুবিমল পাল বলেন, “আমরা সুনির্দিষ্ট অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে তাকে এখন গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। তার বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হচ্ছে। তবে কীভাবে সে এত বড় বাড়ি করল, এতো সম্পদ কিনল, সেসবের আর্থিক উৎস কী? সেগুলো জানার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হচ্ছে।” পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, গত রবিবার সে ঘোষালচক হালদার পাড়ার বাসিন্দা বঙ্কিম হালদারের বাড়িতে চুরি করতে এসেছিল। সেই সময় খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে আসে রাজাপুর থানার পুলিশ। হাতেনাতে তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করে। এখনও সে পুলিশি হেফাজতে। সূত্রের খবর, প্রথমে সে তার নাম-ঠিকানা ভুল বলে পুলিশকে বিভ্রান্ত করার চেষ্টা করে। পরে সঠিক নাম, ঠিকানা জানায়। টানা জেরায় অমিত স্বীকার করেছে সে এক্কেবারে পেশাদার চোর!

 Sports Desk :  Sobisco Smashers Malda secured a well-fought 18-run victory over Servotech Siliguri Strikers in the women’s division of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2, held at the JU Second Campus, Salt Lake, on Saturday.

Opting to bat first, Sobisco Smashers Malda posted a competitive total of 115/9 in 20 overs. All-rounder Sukanya Parida led the scoring with a composed 23 runs, while the rest of the batting lineup contributed in bits to keep the scoreboard ticking.

The standout performer with the ball for Siliguri was Snigdha Bag, who delivered an incisive spell, finishing with 4 wickets for 19 runs. She received good support from Moli Mandal, who chipped in with 2 wickets for 15 runs, applying consistent pressure throughout the innings.

In reply, Servotech Siliguri Strikers could only muster 97/9 in their 20 overs, falling short by 18 runs. Batter Priyanka Bala offered the lone resistance with a fighting 37-run knock, but a disciplined bowling performance by Malda ensured her efforts went in vain.

The bowling attack was spearheaded by Aruna Burman, who returned impressive figures of 3 for 10, while Mamata Kisku also made her mark with 2 for 13 in 4 overs. Kisku’s economical and accurate bowling during the middle overs proved crucial in stifling the Siliguri chase.

 Sports Desk: A superb bowling performance helped Harbour Diamonds outclass Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers by 8 wickets in a one-sided encounter in the women’s competition of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at the JU, 2nd Campus, Salt Lake on Saturday.

Opting to bat, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers were bundled out for just 37 in 12.2 overs 

For Harbour Diamonds, Ariktha Manna (3-9), Rupal Tiwari (2-4), Priyanka Sarkar (2-5), Soumashree Bhowmick (1-9) were superb with the ball. 

In reply, Harbour Diamonds went over the line scoring 38/2 in 8.2 overs. Yogita Rawat top-scored with 16 runs.
