 Khabar kolkata sports Desk: India cricket legend and former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly after filing his nomination for the post of CAB President unopposed today said taking Bengal cricket to new heights will be the primary goal. 

“I would like to thank everyone for their support. At CAB, there is no opposition, everyone is a part of this Association. We will all work together to take CAB & Bengal cricket ahead. There are important events coming up- Eden Gardens India’s Test match against South Africa, T20 World Cup, Bengal Pro T20 League. I will try and do my best,” Ganguly said.  

The unopposed panel that filed nominations today were Sourav Ganguly (President), Nitish Ranjan Dutta (Vice President), Bablu Koley (Secretary), Madan Mohan Ghosh (Joint Secretary), Sanjay Das (Treasurer). 

Speaking about his team, Ganguly said, “Bablu Koley is very experienced. It’s important to have someone with his experience and knowledge. Nitish Ranjan Dutta, Madan Mohan Ghosh and Sanjay Das are also experienced and are in this field for a long time. All their experience will be immensely helpful for Bengal cricket.”

देश के 15वें उपराष्ट्रपति बने सीपी राधाकृष्णन, राष्ट्रपति मुर्मु ने दिलाई शपथ

देश को 15वें उपराष्ट्रपति मिल चुके हैं। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने सीपी राधाकृष्णन को 15वें उपराष्ट्रपति का शपथ दिलायी। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने राष्ट्रपति भवन में आयोजित समारोह में 67 वर्षीय राधाकृष्णन को शपथ दिलाई। राजग उम्मीदवार राधाकृष्णन ने इंडिया गठबंधन के उम्मीदवार पूर्व जस्टिस बी सुदर्शन रेड्डी को हराकर उपराष्ट्रपति पद का चुनाव जीत था। 21 जुलाई को जगदीप धनखड़ के अचानक इस्तीफे के बाद 9 सितंबर को नए उपराष्ट्रपति के लिए चुनाव हुआ था। 

जगदीप धनखड़ भी समारोह में नजर आए
शुक्रवार को हुए शपथग्रहण समारोह में पीएम मोदी, गृहमंत्री अमित शाह, रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह समेत कैबिनेट के कई बड़े मंत्री मौजूद रहे। खास बात ये रही कि समारोह के दौरान पूर्व उपराष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ भी मौजूद थे। वह पहली कतार में दो अन्य पूर्व उपराष्ट्रपतियों वेंकैया नायडू और हामिद अंसारी के साथ बैठे थे। उपराष्ट्रपति के पद से इस्तीफा देने के बाद यह पहला मौका था जब जगदीप धनखड़ किसी सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए।

सीपी राधाकृष्णन ने 152 मतो से जीता था चुनाव
एनडीए उम्मीदवार राधाकृष्णन को मंगलवार को भारत के 15वें उपराष्ट्रपति के रूप में चुना गया। मंगलवार को हुए उपराष्ट्रपति पद चुनाव में सीपी राधाकृष्णन ने विपक्ष के प्रत्याशी सुदर्शन रेड्डी को 152 प्रथम वरीयता के मतों से हरा कर उपराष्ट्रपति का चुनाव जीता था। सुदर्शन रेड्डी को 300 प्रथम वरीयता के मत मिले, जबकि सीपी राधाकृष्णन के पक्ष में 452 वोट पड़े।

जगदीप धनखड़ के अचानक इस्तीफे के बाद हुए चुनाव
जगदीप धनखड़ ने 21 जुलाई को अचानक इस्तीफा दे दिया था। संसद के हालिया मानसून सत्र के दौरान जगदीप धनखड़ ने स्वास्थ्य कारणों का हवाला देते हुए उपराष्ट्रपति पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था, हालांकि उनका कार्यकाल दो साल बचा हुआ था। उनके इस्तीफे के कारण मध्यावधि चुनाव कराया गया।

उपराष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए वोटिंग शुरू हो गई है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी उपराष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए मतदान करने संसद भवन पहुंचे। इस चुनाव में एनडीए उम्मीदवार और महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन का मुकाबला विपक्षी दल इंडिया ब्लॉक के उम्मीदवार और सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व न्यायाधीश बी. सुदर्शन रेड्डी से है। मतगणना शाम में होगी। 

  


इस चुनाव में सत्तापक्ष यानी एनडीए की ओर से सीपी राधाकृष्णन हैं तो दूसरी ओर इंडिया गठबंधन की ओर से सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व जस्टिस बी सुदर्शन रेड्डी हैं। इन दोनों के बीच में ही टक्कर है और जो जीतेगा उसे उपराष्ट्रपति की गद्दी पर बैठाया जाएगा। चुनाव से पहले जानते हैं वोटों का गणित।

जीत के लिए कुल 386 वोटों की जरूरत
लोकसभा में सांसदों की संख्या 542 है जबकि राज्यसभा में 239 सांसद हैं। दोनों सदनों को मिलाकर कुल वोट करने वाले सांसदों की संख्या 781 होती है। कुल सांसदों के हिसाब से जीत के लिए किसी भी प्रत्याशी को कुल 391 वोटों की जरूरत पड़ेगी। इसी बीच नवीन पटनायक की बीजेडी, चंद्रशेखर राव की बीआरएस और शिरोमणि अकाली दल ने मतदान से अलग रहने की घोषणा कर दी है, जिससे अब जीत के आंकड़ें में थोड़ा फेरबदल होगा। नवीन पटनायक की बीजेडी, शिरोमणि अकाली दल और तेलंगाना के पूर्व सीएम के चंद्रशेखर राव की बीआरएस को हटा दें तो वोट करने वाले बचे कुल सांसदों की संख्या 770 पर आ जाती है। इन दोनों ने खुद को चुनाव से बाहर रखने का फैसला किया है। इस हिसाब से एक उम्मीदवार को जीत के लिए 386 वोट चाहिए। 

एनडीए के पास कुल सांसदों की संख्या 425
एनडीए के पास कुल सांसदों की संख्या 425 है। इसके अलावा जगन रेड्डी के दल का समर्थन (11 सांसद) भी जोड़ लेते हैं तो यह संख्या 436 पहुंच जाती है। दूसरी ओर इंडिया ब्लॉक के पास सांसदों की संख्या 324 है। यानी दोनों के बीच कुल 112 वोटों का अंतर है। यहां यह भी ध्यान रखना जरूरी है कि फिलहाल निर्दलीय और स्वाति मालीवाल, गिरधारी लाल यादव जैसे अपने दल से अलग थलग सांसदों को मिलाकर 10 ऐसे हैं जिनका वोट किस तरफ जाएगा या वो वोट करेंगे या नहीं करेंगे ये साफ नहीं है। कुल मिलाकर आकंड़ों के लिहाज से एनडीए उम्मीदवार की जीत महज औपचारिकता ही दिखती है।

कांग्रेस नेता सोनिया गांधी के खिलाफ राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट में एक आपराधिक शिकायत दायर की गई है, जिसमें उनके भारतीय नागरिक बनने से तीन साल पहले मतदाता सूची में नाम शामिल होने के आरोप में एफआईआर दर्ज करने की मांग की गई है। राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट के अतिरिक्त मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट वैभव चौरसिया ने 10 सितंबर को इस मामले में सुनवाई की तारीख तय की है।

  


नागरिक बनने से पहले वोटर लिस्ट में नाम शामिल
वकील विकास त्रिपाठी ने यह शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। वकील विकास त्रिपाठी का कहना है कि सोनिया गांधी का नाम 1980 में नई दिल्ली की मतदाता सूची में था। जबकि उन्हें भारतीय नागरिकता 30 अप्रैल 1983 को मिली थी। त्रिपाठी ने आरोप लगाया है कि गांधी का नाम 1980 में मतदाता सूची में शामिल किया गया था, 1982 में हटाया गया और फिर 1983 में फिर से जोड़ा गया। त्रिपाठी के वकील ने कहा कि उनका भारतीय नागरिकता के लिए आवेदन भी अप्रैल 1983 का है। 1980 में नई दिल्ली निर्वाचन क्षेत्र की मतदाता सूची में उनका नाम कैसे शामिल हुआ, जिसे फिर 1982 में हटाया गया और 1983 में फिर से दर्ज किया गया। 

जाली दस्तावेज के इस्तेमाल का गंभीर आरोप
वकील ने आरोप लगाया कि तीन साल पहले यानी 1980 में मतदाता सूची में सोनिया गांधी का नाम शामिल होने का मतलब है कि उनके द्वारा कुछ जाली डॉक्यूमेंट दिए गए होंगे। वकील ने कहा कि इस तरह से जाली डॉक्यूमेंट बनवाकर मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम शामिल करवाना एक संज्ञेय अपराध के बराबर है। 

230 पेज की शिकायत, सुनवाई की तारीख तय
अतिरिक्त मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट वैभव चौरसिया ने 230 पेज की शिकायत देखने के बाद सुनवाई की तारीख तय की। शिकायत में सोनिया गांधी और आईपी एस्टेट पुलिस स्टेशन के एसएचओ को भी शामिल किया गया है। त्रिपाठी की तरफ से वकील ने दलीलें पूरी करने के बाद अदालत ने कहा कि मामले पर अगले सप्ताह फिर से विचार किया जाएगा। हालांकि, गांधी या दिल्ली पुलिस को अभी तक कोई औपचारिक नोटिस जारी नहीं किया गया है।

चीन के तियानजिन में शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) के शिखर सम्मेलन का आयोजन हो रहा है। तियानजिन से पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी और रूसी राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन की एक खास तस्वीर सामने आई है। राष्ट्रपति पुतिन और प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने एक-दूसरे का गले लगाकर गर्मजोशी से अभिवादन किया। इस दौरान प्रधानमंत्री मोदी, चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग और रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन एससीसो मंच पर एक साथ नजर आए। इसकी तस्वीर सामने आई है। तीनों नेता आपस में बातचीत करते दिखे। इस दौरान तीनों देशों की ट्रायो डिप्लोमेसी देखने को मिली, यानी ये देश आपसी सहयोग बढ़ाने पर जोर दे रहे हैं।

पुतिन और मोदी की द्विपक्षीय बैठक से पहले हुई मुलाकात
पीएम मोदी ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफार्म एक्स पर दो तस्वीरें शेयर की। एक तस्वीर में मोदी पुतिन को गले लगाते नजर आ रहे हैं। दूसरी तस्वीर में दोनों नेता हाथ मिलाते हुए नजर आ रहे हैं। तस्वीर शेयर करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने लिखा कि राष्ट्रपति पुतिन से मिलना हमेशा खुशी की बात होती है। बता दें कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और राष्ट्रपति पुतिन के बीच यह मुलाकात उनकी द्विपक्षीय बैठक से पहले हुई, जो पूर्ण सत्र के बाद होने वाली है।

एससीओ का अब तक का सबसे बड़ा समिट
एससीओ समिट चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग की मेजबानी में हो रही है। यह एससीओ का अब तक का सबसे बड़ा समिट है, जिसमें 20 से अधिक देशों के नेता और 10 अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगठनों के प्रमुख शामिल हैं। सदस्य देशों में भारत, चीन, रूस, पाकिस्तान, ईरान, बेलारूस, कजाकिस्तान, किर्गिजिस्तान, ताजिकिस्तान और उज्बेकिस्तान शामिल हैं, जबकि पर्यवेक्षक और संवाद साझेदार देशों में तुर्की, मालदीव, नेपाल, म्यांमार, मिस्र और संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरेस जैसे नाम हैं।



समिट का फोकस क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा, आर्थिक सहयोग, आतंकवाद विरोधी प्रयासों और सांस्कृतिक आदान-प्रदान पर है। चीनी विदेश मंत्रालय के सहायक मंत्री लिउ बिन ने कहा कि शी जिनपिंग तियानजिन घोषणा जारी करेंगे, जो एससीओ के अगले 10 वर्षों की विकास रणनीति को रेखांकित करेगी।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इस समय चीन के दौरे पर हैं। मोदी शनिवार को चीन के तियानजिन पहुंचे हैं, जहां वे दो दिवसीय शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) समिट में भाग लेंगे। चीन के तियानजिन में 31 अगस्त से 1 सितंबर तक होने वाले एससीओ समिट में कई देशों के नेता भाग ले रहे हैं। इससे पहले पीएम मोदी रविवार को चीनी राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठक की। चीनी राष्ट्रपति और पीएम मोदी की मुलाकात 7 सालों बाद हुई।

10 महीनों में पहली मुलाकात
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और चीनी राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग ने रविवार को तियानजिन में अहम मुलाकात की। अमेरिकी टैरिफ से जूझ रही दुनिया की नजर इस बैठक पर रही। पीएम मोदी और जिनपिंग के बीच करीब 10 महीनों में यह पहली मुलाकात है। दोनों नेताओं की पिछली मुलाकात अक्तूबर 2024 में रूस के कजान में ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन से इतर हुई थी।

सीमा पर शांति और स्थिरता का माहौल बना-पीएम मोदी
चीनी राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठक के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा, पिछले साल कजान में हमारी बहुत ही उपयोगी चर्चा हुई थी, जिससे हमारे संबंधों को सकारात्मक दिशा मिली। सीमा पर सैनिकों की वापसी के बाद शांति और स्थिरता का माहौल बना है। हमारे विशेष प्रतिनिधियों के बीच सीमा प्रबंधन को लेकर समझौता हो गया है।

हमारे सहयोग से दोनों देशों के 2.8 अरब लोगों के हित जुड़े-पीएम मोदी
पीएम मोदी ने आगे कहा, कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा फिर से शुरू कर दी गई है। दोनों देशों के बीच सीधी उड़ानें भी बहाल की जा रही हैं। हमारे सहयोग से दोनों देशों के 2.8 अरब लोगों के हित जुड़े हुए हैं। इससे पूरी मानवता के कल्याण का मार्ग भी प्रशस्त होगा। हम आपसी विश्वास, सम्मान और संवेदनशीलता के आधार पर अपने संबंधों को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं।

7 साल चीन पहुंचे पीएम मोदी
बता दें कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पूरे 7 सालों के बाद चीन दौरे पर गए हैं। जून 2020 में गलवान घाटी में हुई झड़प के बाद भारत और चीन के बीच संबंध काफी खराब हो गए थे। हालांकि हाल के दिनों में चीन और भारत के संबंध एक बार फिर ठीक करने की कवायद की जा रही है। इस यात्रा का मकसद दोनों देशों के बीच सीमा विवाद को कम करना भी है।

 Khabar kolkata sports Desk: In a glittering Annual Awards Ceremony on Saturday, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) handed the Kartick Bose Lifetime Achievement Award to former cricketers Arup Bhattacharjee and Shyama Shaw.

India and Bengal fast bowler Akash Deep received a special award for his performance in the recent Test series against in England while Abhimanyu Easwaran also received a special award for being an important member in the India Test squad.

The sparkling ceremony, which was held at the gorgeous Dhono Dhanyo auditorium, saw CAB President Snehasish Ganguly rendering some inspirational words for the Bengal cricketers. 

“It is a special day for all the cricketers of Bengal. It’s a day of recognition for their hard work and also reward for their sacrifice they have done throughout the season. I would like to congratulate all the individuals who have received an award this evening for their performance in the season 2024-2025. I wish everyone the best for the upcoming season,” Mr Ganguly said.

Alongside CAB President Mr Ganguly, CAB Hony Secretary Naresh Ojha, CAB Vice President Amalendu Biswas, CAB Treasurer Prabir Chakrabarty were present. Also present were former BCCI and CAB President Sourav Ganguly, former CAB office bearers, Chairperson of various CAB committees, former international players, Apex Council Members and members of all affiliated units.

Also present was Kolkata Mayor Janab Firhad Hakim who was the chief guest for the Awards. West Bengal Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Aroop Biswas and Member Mayor-In-Council Kolkata Municipal Corporation Debashish Kumar were also present. 

Arup Bhattacharjee, who received the lifetime achievement award, was a left-handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler, who played 48 first-class matches for Bengal. 

Thanking the CAB for bestowing the prestigious award, Bhattacharjee said, “It is an emotional moment for me. I am honoured to receive this award from CAB. I want to thank everyone involved in my life for being a part of my cricketing journey. There are lots of memories. Thank you again."

Shyama Shaw, who received the lifetime achievement award, was a left-handed batsman and a left-arm seam bowler. She represented India in three Tests and five ODIs. 

“I want to thank CAB for honouring me with this award. It has been a long journey for me from my the start of my cricketing career. Thank you again," Shaw said.

Akash Deep, after receiving the award, said, "I would like to thank the CAB for this award. This Association has helped me in my cricketing journey immensely and helped me where I am today. I want to thank each and every one at CAB."

Sourav Ganguly praising the award winners said, "I would like to congratulate all the winners. Each and every player has worked hard to reach this stage. I wish everyone the best for the upcoming season."

Bengal Umpire Abhijit Bhattacharya was handed a special award for his contribution as an umpire not only in Bengal but also in Indian cricket, which includes Women’s Premier League and Indian Premier League.

The Bengal Under-15 women’s team and support staff were also felicitated for being champions in the BCCI One-Day tournament. 

Ratan Chowdhury, Rabi Shankar Chakraborty and Dhiman Biswas also received special awards for their immense contribution to Bengal local cricket as an umpire.

CAB Hony Secretary Naresh Ojha, during his speech, said, "Thank you all for being here for the Awards Ceremony. I want to thank CAB President Snehasish Ganguly, other office bearers, and members of media for being here for the ocassion. My congratulations to all the winners."

The winners who were awarded for their excellent performance on the field last season were – Sudip Kr Gharami, who was awarded with the Cricketer of the Year while Shahbaz Ahamad was awarded the Gentleman Cricketer of the Year. 

Sayan Ghosh won the Best Fast Bowler of the Year award while Sudip Chatterjee was awarded for being the highest run getter for Bengal in Ranji Trophy. Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal was awarded for being the highest wicket taker for Bengal in Ranji Trophy. 

Tanushree Sarkar received the Best Senior Women’s Cricketer of the Year award. Rahul Prasad received the Best Men’s U-23 Cricketer of the Year award. Dyuti Paul received the Best Women’s U-23 Cricketer of the Year award. Vishal Bhati received the Best Men’s U-19 Cricketer of the Year award. Yudhajit Guha received the Best Men’s U-19 Bowler of the Year award.

Ipshita Mondal received the Best Women’s U-19 Cricketer of the Year award. Sachin Yadav received the Best Men’s U-16 Cricketer of the Year award. Sandipta Patra received the Best Women’s U-15 Cricketer of the Year award. 

Arin Roy received the Best Men’s Senior District Cricketer of the Year award.

In the Sadar region of Dhanbad district, Jai Dharti Maa Foundation was honored with the “Kala Heera Samman” for its outstanding contributions in the fields of agriculture and environmental conservation. The award was conferred during a special ceremony organized under the aegis of KBCCNS & NS, recognizing the foundation’s continuous efforts in creating positive impact across the region.

This prestigious honor has given new recognition to the foundation’s work and has significantly increased awareness among local communities.

For several years, Jai Dharti Maa Foundation has been tirelessly working for the welfare of farmers. Its mission is to connect farmers with modern agricultural practices, promote organic farming, and encourage environmental sustainability. To achieve this, the foundation regularly organizes awareness camps, training sessions, and environmental campaigns.

So far, the foundation has successfully inspired hundreds of farmers to shift from chemical-based farming to organic methods. Alongside this, it has initiated large-scale tree plantation drives, planting thousands of saplings in rural areas. Dedicated volunteers are also actively involved in nurturing and protecting these plants, ensuring long-term impact.

Amidst the challenges of environmental imbalance and climate change, such initiatives are seen as highly commendable and necessary.

On receiving the award, the foundation’s president remarked:
“This honor is not just for the organization but for all the farmers and villagers who are bringing positive changes in their lives to protect Mother Earth. In the coming years, the foundation will expand its work to more regions so that every village can witness a green revolution along with a clean and balanced environment.”

The event also witnessed the presence of renowned Hindi film writer Shri Vipul Rawal, who has written several acclaimed films, including Mission Raniganj. Local representatives, social workers, and villagers attended in large numbers, extending their appreciation to the foundation and promising their cooperation for future initiatives.

At a time when the excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides is reducing soil fertility and contaminating water sources, the shift towards organic farming is crucial. In this direction, Jai Dharti Maa Foundation has emerged as a source of inspiration.

अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने भारत और रूस को लेकर एक बार फिर तीखा हमला बोला है। भारत के खिलाफ 25 फीसदी का टैरिफ लगाने के बाद भी उन्हें चैन नहीं आया। भारत पर अचानक टैरिफ बम फोड़ने के बाद ट्रंप ने तंज कसा है। सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म ‘ट्रुथ सोशल’ पर पोस्ट करते हुए ट्रंप ने कहा कि उन्हें इस बात की कोई परवाह नहीं कि भारत रूस के साथ क्या करता है। उन्होंने तंज कसते हुए लिखा, ‘ये दोनों अपनी मरी हुई अर्थव्यवस्थाएं साथ लेकर डूबें, मुझे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता।’

डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने टैरिफ लगाने के बाद भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था को डेड कहा। इस पर राजनीतिक घमासान तेज होने लगा है। कांग्रेस सांसद और लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता ने इस पर रिएक्ट किया है। उन्होंने ट्रंप के कमेंट पर कहा कि हां, वह सही हैं। प्रधानमंत्री और वित्त मंत्री को छोड़कर हर कोई यह जानता है। हर कोई जानता है कि भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था एक मृत अर्थव्यवस्था है।

“I would like to thank everyone for their support. At CAB, there is no opposition, everyone is a part of this Association. We will all work together to take CAB & Bengal cricket ahead. There are important events coming up- Eden Gardens India’s Test match against South Africa, T20 World Cup, Bengal Pro T20 League. I will try and do my best,” Ganguly said.  

The unopposed panel that filed nominations today were Sourav Ganguly (President), Nitish Ranjan Dutta (Vice President), Bablu Koley (Secretary), Madan Mohan Ghosh (Joint Secretary), Sanjay Das (Treasurer). 

Speaking about his team, Ganguly said, “Bablu Koley is very experienced. It’s important to have someone with his experience and knowledge. Nitish Ranjan Dutta, Madan Mohan Ghosh and Sanjay Das are also experienced and are in this field for a long time. All their experience will be immensely helpful for Bengal cricket.”

देश के 15वें उपराष्ट्रपति बने सीपी राधाकृष्णन, राष्ट्रपति मुर्मु ने दिलाई शपथ

देश को 15वें उपराष्ट्रपति मिल चुके हैं। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने सीपी राधाकृष्णन को 15वें उपराष्ट्रपति का शपथ दिलायी। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने राष्ट्रपति भवन में आयोजित समारोह में 67 वर्षीय राधाकृष्णन को शपथ दिलाई। राजग उम्मीदवार राधाकृष्णन ने इंडिया गठबंधन के उम्मीदवार पूर्व जस्टिस बी सुदर्शन रेड्डी को हराकर उपराष्ट्रपति पद का चुनाव जीत था। 21 जुलाई को जगदीप धनखड़ के अचानक इस्तीफे के बाद 9 सितंबर को नए उपराष्ट्रपति के लिए चुनाव हुआ था। 

जगदीप धनखड़ भी समारोह में नजर आए
शुक्रवार को हुए शपथग्रहण समारोह में पीएम मोदी, गृहमंत्री अमित शाह, रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह समेत कैबिनेट के कई बड़े मंत्री मौजूद रहे। खास बात ये रही कि समारोह के दौरान पूर्व उपराष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ भी मौजूद थे। वह पहली कतार में दो अन्य पूर्व उपराष्ट्रपतियों वेंकैया नायडू और हामिद अंसारी के साथ बैठे थे। उपराष्ट्रपति के पद से इस्तीफा देने के बाद यह पहला मौका था जब जगदीप धनखड़ किसी सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए।

सीपी राधाकृष्णन ने 152 मतो से जीता था चुनाव
एनडीए उम्मीदवार राधाकृष्णन को मंगलवार को भारत के 15वें उपराष्ट्रपति के रूप में चुना गया। मंगलवार को हुए उपराष्ट्रपति पद चुनाव में सीपी राधाकृष्णन ने विपक्ष के प्रत्याशी सुदर्शन रेड्डी को 152 प्रथम वरीयता के मतों से हरा कर उपराष्ट्रपति का चुनाव जीता था। सुदर्शन रेड्डी को 300 प्रथम वरीयता के मत मिले, जबकि सीपी राधाकृष्णन के पक्ष में 452 वोट पड़े।

जगदीप धनखड़ के अचानक इस्तीफे के बाद हुए चुनाव
जगदीप धनखड़ ने 21 जुलाई को अचानक इस्तीफा दे दिया था। संसद के हालिया मानसून सत्र के दौरान जगदीप धनखड़ ने स्वास्थ्य कारणों का हवाला देते हुए उपराष्ट्रपति पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था, हालांकि उनका कार्यकाल दो साल बचा हुआ था। उनके इस्तीफे के कारण मध्यावधि चुनाव कराया गया।

उपराष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए वोटिंग शुरू हो गई है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी उपराष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए मतदान करने संसद भवन पहुंचे। इस चुनाव में एनडीए उम्मीदवार और महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन का मुकाबला विपक्षी दल इंडिया ब्लॉक के उम्मीदवार और सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व न्यायाधीश बी. सुदर्शन रेड्डी से है। मतगणना शाम में होगी। 

  


इस चुनाव में सत्तापक्ष यानी एनडीए की ओर से सीपी राधाकृष्णन हैं तो दूसरी ओर इंडिया गठबंधन की ओर से सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व जस्टिस बी सुदर्शन रेड्डी हैं। इन दोनों के बीच में ही टक्कर है और जो जीतेगा उसे उपराष्ट्रपति की गद्दी पर बैठाया जाएगा। चुनाव से पहले जानते हैं वोटों का गणित।

जीत के लिए कुल 386 वोटों की जरूरत
लोकसभा में सांसदों की संख्या 542 है जबकि राज्यसभा में 239 सांसद हैं। दोनों सदनों को मिलाकर कुल वोट करने वाले सांसदों की संख्या 781 होती है। कुल सांसदों के हिसाब से जीत के लिए किसी भी प्रत्याशी को कुल 391 वोटों की जरूरत पड़ेगी। इसी बीच नवीन पटनायक की बीजेडी, चंद्रशेखर राव की बीआरएस और शिरोमणि अकाली दल ने मतदान से अलग रहने की घोषणा कर दी है, जिससे अब जीत के आंकड़ें में थोड़ा फेरबदल होगा। नवीन पटनायक की बीजेडी, शिरोमणि अकाली दल और तेलंगाना के पूर्व सीएम के चंद्रशेखर राव की बीआरएस को हटा दें तो वोट करने वाले बचे कुल सांसदों की संख्या 770 पर आ जाती है। इन दोनों ने खुद को चुनाव से बाहर रखने का फैसला किया है। इस हिसाब से एक उम्मीदवार को जीत के लिए 386 वोट चाहिए। 

एनडीए के पास कुल सांसदों की संख्या 425
एनडीए के पास कुल सांसदों की संख्या 425 है। इसके अलावा जगन रेड्डी के दल का समर्थन (11 सांसद) भी जोड़ लेते हैं तो यह संख्या 436 पहुंच जाती है। दूसरी ओर इंडिया ब्लॉक के पास सांसदों की संख्या 324 है। यानी दोनों के बीच कुल 112 वोटों का अंतर है। यहां यह भी ध्यान रखना जरूरी है कि फिलहाल निर्दलीय और स्वाति मालीवाल, गिरधारी लाल यादव जैसे अपने दल से अलग थलग सांसदों को मिलाकर 10 ऐसे हैं जिनका वोट किस तरफ जाएगा या वो वोट करेंगे या नहीं करेंगे ये साफ नहीं है। कुल मिलाकर आकंड़ों के लिहाज से एनडीए उम्मीदवार की जीत महज औपचारिकता ही दिखती है।

कांग्रेस नेता सोनिया गांधी के खिलाफ राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट में एक आपराधिक शिकायत दायर की गई है, जिसमें उनके भारतीय नागरिक बनने से तीन साल पहले मतदाता सूची में नाम शामिल होने के आरोप में एफआईआर दर्ज करने की मांग की गई है। राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट के अतिरिक्त मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट वैभव चौरसिया ने 10 सितंबर को इस मामले में सुनवाई की तारीख तय की है।

  


नागरिक बनने से पहले वोटर लिस्ट में नाम शामिल
वकील विकास त्रिपाठी ने यह शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। वकील विकास त्रिपाठी का कहना है कि सोनिया गांधी का नाम 1980 में नई दिल्ली की मतदाता सूची में था। जबकि उन्हें भारतीय नागरिकता 30 अप्रैल 1983 को मिली थी। त्रिपाठी ने आरोप लगाया है कि गांधी का नाम 1980 में मतदाता सूची में शामिल किया गया था, 1982 में हटाया गया और फिर 1983 में फिर से जोड़ा गया। त्रिपाठी के वकील ने कहा कि उनका भारतीय नागरिकता के लिए आवेदन भी अप्रैल 1983 का है। 1980 में नई दिल्ली निर्वाचन क्षेत्र की मतदाता सूची में उनका नाम कैसे शामिल हुआ, जिसे फिर 1982 में हटाया गया और 1983 में फिर से दर्ज किया गया। 

जाली दस्तावेज के इस्तेमाल का गंभीर आरोप
वकील ने आरोप लगाया कि तीन साल पहले यानी 1980 में मतदाता सूची में सोनिया गांधी का नाम शामिल होने का मतलब है कि उनके द्वारा कुछ जाली डॉक्यूमेंट दिए गए होंगे। वकील ने कहा कि इस तरह से जाली डॉक्यूमेंट बनवाकर मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम शामिल करवाना एक संज्ञेय अपराध के बराबर है। 

230 पेज की शिकायत, सुनवाई की तारीख तय
अतिरिक्त मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट वैभव चौरसिया ने 230 पेज की शिकायत देखने के बाद सुनवाई की तारीख तय की। शिकायत में सोनिया गांधी और आईपी एस्टेट पुलिस स्टेशन के एसएचओ को भी शामिल किया गया है। त्रिपाठी की तरफ से वकील ने दलीलें पूरी करने के बाद अदालत ने कहा कि मामले पर अगले सप्ताह फिर से विचार किया जाएगा। हालांकि, गांधी या दिल्ली पुलिस को अभी तक कोई औपचारिक नोटिस जारी नहीं किया गया है।

चीन के तियानजिन में शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) के शिखर सम्मेलन का आयोजन हो रहा है। तियानजिन से पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी और रूसी राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन की एक खास तस्वीर सामने आई है। राष्ट्रपति पुतिन और प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने एक-दूसरे का गले लगाकर गर्मजोशी से अभिवादन किया। इस दौरान प्रधानमंत्री मोदी, चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग और रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन एससीसो मंच पर एक साथ नजर आए। इसकी तस्वीर सामने आई है। तीनों नेता आपस में बातचीत करते दिखे। इस दौरान तीनों देशों की ट्रायो डिप्लोमेसी देखने को मिली, यानी ये देश आपसी सहयोग बढ़ाने पर जोर दे रहे हैं।

पीएम मोदी ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफार्म एक्स पर दो तस्वीरें शेयर की। एक तस्वीर में मोदी पुतिन को गले लगाते नजर आ रहे हैं। दूसरी तस्वीर में दोनों नेता हाथ मिलाते हुए नजर आ रहे हैं। तस्वीर शेयर करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने लिखा कि राष्ट्रपति पुतिन से मिलना हमेशा खुशी की बात होती है। बता दें कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और राष्ट्रपति पुतिन के बीच यह मुलाकात उनकी द्विपक्षीय बैठक से पहले हुई, जो पूर्ण सत्र के बाद होने वाली है।

एससीओ का अब तक का सबसे बड़ा समिट
एससीओ समिट चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग की मेजबानी में हो रही है। यह एससीओ का अब तक का सबसे बड़ा समिट है, जिसमें 20 से अधिक देशों के नेता और 10 अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगठनों के प्रमुख शामिल हैं। सदस्य देशों में भारत, चीन, रूस, पाकिस्तान, ईरान, बेलारूस, कजाकिस्तान, किर्गिजिस्तान, ताजिकिस्तान और उज्बेकिस्तान शामिल हैं, जबकि पर्यवेक्षक और संवाद साझेदार देशों में तुर्की, मालदीव, नेपाल, म्यांमार, मिस्र और संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरेस जैसे नाम हैं।



समिट का फोकस क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा, आर्थिक सहयोग, आतंकवाद विरोधी प्रयासों और सांस्कृतिक आदान-प्रदान पर है। चीनी विदेश मंत्रालय के सहायक मंत्री लिउ बिन ने कहा कि शी जिनपिंग तियानजिन घोषणा जारी करेंगे, जो एससीओ के अगले 10 वर्षों की विकास रणनीति को रेखांकित करेगी।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इस समय चीन के दौरे पर हैं। मोदी शनिवार को चीन के तियानजिन पहुंचे हैं, जहां वे दो दिवसीय शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) समिट में भाग लेंगे। चीन के तियानजिन में 31 अगस्त से 1 सितंबर तक होने वाले एससीओ समिट में कई देशों के नेता भाग ले रहे हैं। इससे पहले पीएम मोदी रविवार को चीनी राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठक की। चीनी राष्ट्रपति और पीएम मोदी की मुलाकात 7 सालों बाद हुई।

10 महीनों में पहली मुलाकात
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और चीनी राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग ने रविवार को तियानजिन में अहम मुलाकात की। अमेरिकी टैरिफ से जूझ रही दुनिया की नजर इस बैठक पर रही। पीएम मोदी और जिनपिंग के बीच करीब 10 महीनों में यह पहली मुलाकात है। दोनों नेताओं की पिछली मुलाकात अक्तूबर 2024 में रूस के कजान में ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन से इतर हुई थी।

सीमा पर शांति और स्थिरता का माहौल बना-पीएम मोदी
चीनी राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठक के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा, पिछले साल कजान में हमारी बहुत ही उपयोगी चर्चा हुई थी, जिससे हमारे संबंधों को सकारात्मक दिशा मिली। सीमा पर सैनिकों की वापसी के बाद शांति और स्थिरता का माहौल बना है। हमारे विशेष प्रतिनिधियों के बीच सीमा प्रबंधन को लेकर समझौता हो गया है।

हमारे सहयोग से दोनों देशों के 2.8 अरब लोगों के हित जुड़े-पीएम मोदी
पीएम मोदी ने आगे कहा, कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा फिर से शुरू कर दी गई है। दोनों देशों के बीच सीधी उड़ानें भी बहाल की जा रही हैं। हमारे सहयोग से दोनों देशों के 2.8 अरब लोगों के हित जुड़े हुए हैं। इससे पूरी मानवता के कल्याण का मार्ग भी प्रशस्त होगा। हम आपसी विश्वास, सम्मान और संवेदनशीलता के आधार पर अपने संबंधों को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं।

7 साल चीन पहुंचे पीएम मोदी
बता दें कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पूरे 7 सालों के बाद चीन दौरे पर गए हैं। जून 2020 में गलवान घाटी में हुई झड़प के बाद भारत और चीन के बीच संबंध काफी खराब हो गए थे। हालांकि हाल के दिनों में चीन और भारत के संबंध एक बार फिर ठीक करने की कवायद की जा रही है। इस यात्रा का मकसद दोनों देशों के बीच सीमा विवाद को कम करना भी है।

 Khabar kolkata sports Desk: In a glittering Annual Awards Ceremony on Saturday, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) handed the Kartick Bose Lifetime Achievement Award to former cricketers Arup Bhattacharjee and Shyama Shaw.

India and Bengal fast bowler Akash Deep received a special award for his performance in the recent Test series against in England while Abhimanyu Easwaran also received a special award for being an important member in the India Test squad.

The sparkling ceremony, which was held at the gorgeous Dhono Dhanyo auditorium, saw CAB President Snehasish Ganguly rendering some inspirational words for the Bengal cricketers. 

“It is a special day for all the cricketers of Bengal. It’s a day of recognition for their hard work and also reward for their sacrifice they have done throughout the season. I would like to congratulate all the individuals who have received an award this evening for their performance in the season 2024-2025. I wish everyone the best for the upcoming season,” Mr Ganguly said.

Alongside CAB President Mr Ganguly, CAB Hony Secretary Naresh Ojha, CAB Vice President Amalendu Biswas, CAB Treasurer Prabir Chakrabarty were present. Also present were former BCCI and CAB President Sourav Ganguly, former CAB office bearers, Chairperson of various CAB committees, former international players, Apex Council Members and members of all affiliated units.

Also present was Kolkata Mayor Janab Firhad Hakim who was the chief guest for the Awards. West Bengal Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Aroop Biswas and Member Mayor-In-Council Kolkata Municipal Corporation Debashish Kumar were also present. 

Arup Bhattacharjee, who received the lifetime achievement award, was a left-handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler, who played 48 first-class matches for Bengal. 

Thanking the CAB for bestowing the prestigious award, Bhattacharjee said, “It is an emotional moment for me. I am honoured to receive this award from CAB. I want to thank everyone involved in my life for being a part of my cricketing journey. There are lots of memories. Thank you again."

Shyama Shaw, who received the lifetime achievement award, was a left-handed batsman and a left-arm seam bowler. She represented India in three Tests and five ODIs.

Akash Deep, after receiving the award, said, "I would like to thank the CAB for this award. This Association has helped me in my cricketing journey immensely and helped me where I am today. I want to thank each and every one at CAB."

Sourav Ganguly praising the award winners said, "I would like to congratulate all the winners. Each and every player has worked hard to reach this stage. I wish everyone the best for the upcoming season."

Bengal Umpire Abhijit Bhattacharya was handed a special award for his contribution as an umpire not only in Bengal but also in Indian cricket, which includes Women’s Premier League and Indian Premier League.

The Bengal Under-15 women’s team and support staff were also felicitated for being champions in the BCCI One-Day tournament. 

Ratan Chowdhury, Rabi Shankar Chakraborty and Dhiman Biswas also received special awards for their immense contribution to Bengal local cricket as an umpire.

CAB Hony Secretary Naresh Ojha, during his speech, said, "Thank you all for being here for the Awards Ceremony. I want to thank CAB President Snehasish Ganguly, other office bearers, and members of media for being here for the ocassion. My congratulations to all the winners."

The winners who were awarded for their excellent performance on the field last season were – Sudip Kr Gharami, who was awarded with the Cricketer of the Year while Shahbaz Ahamad was awarded the Gentleman Cricketer of the Year. 

Sayan Ghosh won the Best Fast Bowler of the Year award while Sudip Chatterjee was awarded for being the highest run getter for Bengal in Ranji Trophy. Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal was awarded for being the highest wicket taker for Bengal in Ranji Trophy. 

Tanushree Sarkar received the Best Senior Women’s Cricketer of the Year award. Rahul Prasad received the Best Men’s U-23 Cricketer of the Year award. Dyuti Paul received the Best Women’s U-23 Cricketer of the Year award. Vishal Bhati received the Best Men’s U-19 Cricketer of the Year award. Yudhajit Guha received the Best Men’s U-19 Bowler of the Year award.

Ipshita Mondal received the Best Women’s U-19 Cricketer of the Year award. Sachin Yadav received the Best Men’s U-16 Cricketer of the Year award. Sandipta Patra received the Best Women’s U-15 Cricketer of the Year award. 

Arin Roy received the Best Men’s Senior District Cricketer of the Year award.

Jai Dharti Maa Foundation Honored with the Prestigious “Kala Heera Samman” for Excellence in Agriculture and Environment

In the Sadar region of Dhanbad district, Jai Dharti Maa Foundation was honored with the “Kala Heera Samman” for its outstanding contributions in the fields of agriculture and environmental conservation. The award was conferred during a special ceremony organized under the aegis of KBCCNS & NS, recognizing the foundation’s continuous efforts in creating positive impact across the region.

This prestigious honor has given new recognition to the foundation’s work and has significantly increased awareness among local communities.

For several years, Jai Dharti Maa Foundation has been tirelessly working for the welfare of farmers. Its mission is to connect farmers with modern agricultural practices, promote organic farming, and encourage environmental sustainability. To achieve this, the foundation regularly organizes awareness camps, training sessions, and environmental campaigns.

So far, the foundation has successfully inspired hundreds of farmers to shift from chemical-based farming to organic methods. Alongside this, it has initiated large-scale tree plantation drives, planting thousands of saplings in rural areas. Dedicated volunteers are also actively involved in nurturing and protecting these plants, ensuring long-term impact.

Amidst the challenges of environmental imbalance and climate change, such initiatives are seen as highly commendable and necessary.

On receiving the award, the foundation’s president remarked:
“This honor is not just for the organization but for all the farmers and villagers who are bringing positive changes in their lives to protect Mother Earth. In the coming years, the foundation will expand its work to more regions so that every village can witness a green revolution along with a clean and balanced environment.”

The event also witnessed the presence of renowned Hindi film writer Shri Vipul Rawal, who has written several acclaimed films, including Mission Raniganj. Local representatives, social workers, and villagers attended in large numbers, extending their appreciation to the foundation and promising their cooperation for future initiatives.

At a time when the excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides is reducing soil fertility and contaminating water sources, the shift towards organic farming is crucial. In this direction, Jai Dharti Maa Foundation has emerged as a source of inspiration.

Agriculture and environment are deeply interconnected. Sustainable farming cannot be achieved without environmental protection. Guided by this vision, Jai Dharti Maa Foundation continues its mission with the belief that “without saving Mother Earth, feeding future generations will not be possible.”

The Kala Heera Samman, presented by KBCCNS & NS, not only brings pride to the foundation but also sends a strong positive message across the entire region. It is expected that this recognition will further encourage the foundation’s campaign and inspire more people to join the movement towards building a greener and healthier society.

अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने भारत और रूस को लेकर एक बार फिर तीखा हमला बोला है। भारत के खिलाफ 25 फीसदी का टैरिफ लगाने के बाद भी उन्हें चैन नहीं आया। भारत पर अचानक टैरिफ बम फोड़ने के बाद ट्रंप ने तंज कसा है। सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म ‘ट्रुथ सोशल’ पर पोस्ट करते हुए ट्रंप ने कहा कि उन्हें इस बात की कोई परवाह नहीं कि भारत रूस के साथ क्या करता है। उन्होंने तंज कसते हुए लिखा, ‘ये दोनों अपनी मरी हुई अर्थव्यवस्थाएं साथ लेकर डूबें, मुझे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता।’

डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने टैरिफ लगाने के बाद भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था को डेड कहा। इस पर राजनीतिक घमासान तेज होने लगा है। कांग्रेस सांसद और लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता ने इस पर रिएक्ट किया है। उन्होंने ट्रंप के कमेंट पर कहा कि हां, वह सही हैं। प्रधानमंत्री और वित्त मंत्री को छोड़कर हर कोई यह जानता है। हर कोई जानता है कि भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था एक मृत अर्थव्यवस्था है।

संसद परिसद में राहुल गांधी ने पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए आगे कहा कि मुझे खुशी है कि राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप ने ये फैक्ट कहा है। फिर आप क्यों ये सवाल पूछ रहे। पूरी दुनिया जानती है कि भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था एक डेड इकोनॉमी है। बीजेपी ने इस इकोनॉमी को खत्म किया है। क्यों खत्म किया है ये, अडानी की मदद करने के लिए अर्थव्यवस्था को खत्म कर दिया है।

राहुल गांधी ने उठाए सवाल
राहुल गांधी ने इसको लेकर आगे कहा, अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने 30-32 बार बोला है कि मैंने भारत-पाकिस्तान के बीच सीजफायर किया है। ट्रंप ने यह भी बोला कि भारत के 5 जहाज गिरे हैं। ट्रंप ने अब बोला है कि मैं 25% टैरिफ लगाऊंगा। इन सब बातों पर पीएम मोदी जवाब क्यों नहीं दे पा रहे हैं। असली वजह क्या है? कंट्रोल किस के हाथ में है।

पीएम मोदी वो ही करेंगे जो ट्रंप कहेंगे-राहुल गांधी
राहुल गांधी ने कहा, सरकार ने हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था की पॉलिसी, डिफेंस पॉलिसी और विदेश पॉलिसी को नष्ट कर दिया है। पीएम सिर्फ एक ही व्यक्ति के लिए काम करते हैं, अडानी। साथ ही राहुल गांधी ने कहा, आप देखना यह डील होगी, ट्रंप बताएंगे कि यह डील कैसे होगी और पीएम मोदी वो ही करेंगे जो ट्रंप कहेंगे।
