अथर्व नाम का पात्र जो मुख्या किरदार में है अपने दोस्तों के साथ हॉंटेड जगहों पे जाकर घोस्ट हंटिंग एक्सपीरियंस करते हैं पूरी कहानी की विषय वस्तु उसी के इर्द गिर्द घूमती है। 
अथर्व और उसके दोस्त सुहास और जाकिर अथर्व के इस काम में सहयोगी हैं , उनको इस काम के जरिए काफी नाम ,सोहरत मिलती है लेकिन समय के साथ उनका यही सौक जानलेवा हो जाता है ,उन सबकी जिंदगी में सयाली नाम की एक लड़की आती है जिसके बाद से उनके साथ कुछ पैरानॉर्मल घटनाएं घटने लगती हैं।

क्लीमेक्स तक पहुँचते -पहुँचते अथर्व की हालत किसी नरभक्षी पिसाच की तरह हो जाती है स्वयं को किसी गुप्त हॉंटेड जगह पे कैद कर लेता है 
वो पैशाचिक शक्ति सयाली के माध्यम से ऐसा कर रही थी। 
जो बाद में अथर्व के हांथों ही सयाली की बेरहमी से हत्या करवा देती है। 
अंत में अथर्व का दोस्त सुहास बचता है जो किसी तांत्रिक के माध्यम से उस पिसाच शक्ति से निजात पाने केलिए कुछ तंत्र साधना करते हैं जिसके कारण कोई ब्रह्म दैत्य नामक सकारात्मक प्रेत शक्ति के सहयोग से इन सब घटना क्रम के पीछे जो नकारात्मक शक्ति को खिंच कर बाहर लाया जाता है। एक भीषण युद्ध में उसका खात्मा होता है।
कुलमिलाकर ये उपन्यास सुरु से अंत तक बांध कर रखने में सक्ष्म है। 
पढ़ते समय कहीं भी बोरियत नहीं लगती ,कहीं भी कोई चीज अनायास नहीं है हर चीज और करैक्टर के होने का कोई न कोई कारण है ,संवाद शैली प्रभावशाली है। 
इस उपन्यास में जो ड्रा बैक लूप होल है वह है ;कहीं कहीं पे बहुत गूढ़ अर्थ में चीजे कहीं गई है ,जिसे समझने दिक्कत होती है ,बहुत ज्यादा प्यार मोहब्बत ,हास्य के पुट कम ही हैं ,एक तरह से घुमावदार ,ब्लैक हॉरर है। 
मेरी तरफ से इस नावेल को 3.5 स्टार.जो लोग इस प्रकार की चीजें ,घोस्ट ,हॉरर ,सस्पेंस थ्रिलर पसंद करते हैं उनके लिए ये नावेल अच्छा एक्सपीरियंस होगा।

पटना। हिंदी की कविताओं ने जहां दिलों को छुआ, शायरी की जुबानी मोहब्बत की मुनादी होते ही गजलों में लोग डूबने लगे। कुछ ऐसा ही नजारा शहर के गांधी मैदान में बिहार फूड फेस्टिवल द्वारा रविवार को आयोजित साहित्य समागम के आयोजन के दौरान देखने को मिला। इस दौरान देशभर के नामी-गिरामी बड़े कवि-शायरों ने रचनाओं से लोगों का दिल ही जीत लिया। ज्ञान की भूमि पटना में एक ओर आसमान में तारे टिमटिमा रहे थे तो दूसरी ओर काव्य की दुनियां के सितारों से मंच रोशन हो रहा था। अपने चहेते कवियों को सुनने के लिए शाम से ही लोगों के आने का सिलसिला शुरू हो गया था।

साहित्य समागम के विशाल मंच का संचालन करते हुए निखिल कुमार ने कवियों का परिचय कराते हुए जब प्रियेश सिंह को मंच पर आमंत्रित किये और उन्होंने जैसे ही अपनी रचना की शुरुआत “हाँ हम बिहारी है” से किये तो पूरा गांधी मैदान तालियों की गड़गड़ाहट से गूंज उठा। वही प्रियेश सिंह की अलग अलग रचना की प्रस्तुति ने लोगों का दिल जीत लिया। जिसके बाद देश के विभिन्न कोने से आये अभिषेक सिंह, दिव्याशु सिंह, करण जीत और शोभित राज ने अपनी अपनी कविता पाठ से श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। जैसे-जैसे रात्रि ढलती गयी वैसे-वैसे सुरमयी शाम परवान पर चढ़ता गया। कार्यक्रम देर रात तक चला और इसी तरह अन्य कवियों ने एक से बढ़कर एक कविता सुनाई।

कृष्णेन्दू मुखर्जी जो कि सहर के जाने माने समाजसेवी और भाजपा नेता हैं उनके सौजन्य से 500 माताओ को कम्बल बितरण किया गया और इस तरह के कार्यक्रम में वो बढ़ चढ़ कर भाग लेते हैं। उन्होनो कहा कि उनका प्रण है कि आसनसोल मे किसी भी माताओं और बहनो को ढंड में कंबल की वजह से तकलीफ उठाने नहीं देंगे। उन्होनो ने जानकरी दी कि अगले एक महीने में वो जरूरत मंदो को 20000 कंबल बाटेंगे।
