अमेरिका के फ्लोरिडा में भारतीय मूल की एक नर्स पर बेरहमी से हमला किया गया। ये हमला मरीज ने किया है। जिसमें नर्स को गंभीर चोटें आई हैं और मुंह पर फ्रैक्चर भी हो गया। घटना फ्लोरिडा के पाम बीच स्थित पाम्स वेस्ट अस्पताल की है। नर्स को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। वहीं, पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।

अस्पताल में जिस भारतीय मूल की नर्स पर हमला किया गया, उसका नाम लीलाम्मा लाल है। लीलाम्मा लाल पर 33 साल के एक व्यक्ति ने हमला किया, जिसका नाम स्टीफन है। जो फ्लोरिडा पाम्स वेस्ट साइड अस्पताल के साइकियाट्रिक वार्ड में भर्ती था। शख्स ने नर्स पर इस कदर हमला किया कि उसके चेहरे पर कई फ्रैक्चर हो गए, कॉलरबोन टूट गई और सिर से खून बहने लगा। 

उनकी पत्नी मेगन स्कैंटलबेरी ने अदालत में बयान दिया कि हमले से पहले उनके पति का व्यवहार असामान्य था। लीलम्मा लाल उसी अस्पताल में नर्स हैं। हमले के कुछ देर बाद ही उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि यह हमला लगभग एक से दो मिनट तक चला और अस्पताल के सीसीटीवी कैमरे में कैद हो गया।

जख्मी नर्स लीलाम्मा लाल की बेटी सिंडी जोसेफ ने अपनी मां की चोटों की गंभीरता बाताई और कहा, उनके सिर से सबड्यूरल और थोड़ा रक्तस्राव हो रहा है, उनके चेहरे का दाहिना हिस्सा पूरी तरह से फ्रैक्चर हो गया था। उन्हें ट्यूब लगाई गई थी और वे बेहोश थीं, उनके चेहरे पर बहुत ज्यादा चोट के निशान हैं और उनकी आंखों में सूजन भी है।मैं उन्हें पहचान नहीं पाई।

नर्स की स्थिति को लेकर कहा जा रहा है कि अब उनकी आंखों की रोशनी हमेशा के लिए जा सकती है। नर्स के मस्तिष्क में ब्लीडिंग हुई थी। ब्लीडिंग के कारण उन्हें वेस्ट पाम बीच के सेंट मैरी मेडिकल सेंटर में भर्ती कराया गया। फिलहाल उनकी हालत स्थिर बनी हुई है।

The Mariners successfully defended their title, first-ever team in ISL to do so, as they moved to 52 points after this triumph, gaining an unassailable lead over the second-placed FC Goa, who have bagged 42 points with three games to spare. The Jose Molina-coached team sealed this victory on the back of 16 victories and four draws, while recording their sixth consecutive clean sheet – the most ever done by a team in the competition.

भारत के चुनावों में अमेरिका ने दी दखल? मस्क ने रोकी फंडिंग, आरोप-प्रत्यारो शुरू

देश में वोटिंग बढ़ाने के लिए अमेरिका से फंडिंग के मुद्दे पर विवाद पैदा हो गया। दरअसल, अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प के सहयोगी इलॉन मस्क ने भारत के चुनाव में मतदाताओं की भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए दी जाने वाली 182 करोड़ रुपए की फंडिंग रद्द कर दी है। मस्क के नेतृत्व वाले डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ गवर्नमेंट एफिशिएंसी (डीओजीई) ने शनिवार को ये फैसला लिया।

एलन मस्क के नेतृत्व वाला सरकारी दक्षता विभाग (डीओजीई) लगातार यूनाइटेड स्टेट्स एजेंसी फॉर इंटरनेशनल डेवलपमेंट (यूएसएआईडी) यानी यूएसएड की पोल खोलने में जुटा है। सरकारी खर्च में कटौती में जुटे ट्रंप प्रशासन के निशाने पर यूएसएड है। दक्षता विभाग ने हाल ही में भारत समेत दुनियाभर के कई देशों को दी जाने वाली आर्थिक सहायता रोक दी है। 

डीओजीई ने एक लिस्ट जारी की है। इसमें डिपार्टमेंट की तरफ से 15 तरह के प्रोग्राम्स की फंडिंग रद्द की गई है। इसमें एक प्रोग्राम दुनियाभर में चुनाव प्रक्रिया को मजबूत बनाने के लिए भी है, जिसका फंड 4200 करोड़ रुपए है। इस फंड में भारत की हिस्सेदारी 182 करोड़ रुपए की है। दरअसल, अमेरिका भारतीय के चुनाव में मतदान प्रतिशत बढ़ाने की खातिर फंडिंग कर रहा था। अब सवाल यह उठ रहा है कि अमेरिका यह धन किसे देता था?

बीजेपी ने चुनाव में फंडिंग पर सवाल उठाए
बीजेपी आईटी सेल के प्रमुख अमित मालवीय ने दावा किया है कि इस फंड का इस्तेमाल भारतीय चुनाव को प्रभावित करने के लिए किया गया। उन्होंने कांग्रेस पार्टी और अमेरिकी बिजनेसमेन जॉर्ज सोरोस पर भारत में चुनाव प्रक्रिया में दखल देने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने एक्स पोस्ट में कहा- 21 मिलियन डॉलर (182 करोड़ रुपए) वोटर टर्नआउट बढ़ाने के लिए? यह साफ तौर पर देश की चुनावी प्रक्रिया में बाहरी दखल है। इस फंड से किसे फायदा होगा। जाहिर है इससे सत्ताधारी (बीजेपी) पार्टी को तो फायदा नहीं होगा। एक दूसरे पोस्ट में अमित मालवीय ने कांग्रेस पार्टी और जॉर्ज सोरोस पर भारतीय चुनाव में हस्तक्षेप का आरोप लगाया। मालवीय ने सोरोस को गांधी परिवार का जाना-माना सहयोगी बताया।

मालवीय ने एक्स पर लिखा कि 2012 में एसवाई कुरैशी के नेतृत्व में चुनाव आयोग ने इंटरनेशनल फाउंडेशन फॉर इलेक्टोरल सिस्टम्स (आईएफईएस) के साथ एक एमओयू साइन किया था। ये संस्था जॉर्ज सोरोस के ओपन सोसाइटी फाउंडेशन से जुड़ा है। इसे मुख्य तौर पर यूएसएआईडी से आर्थिक मदद मिलती है।

कुरैशी फंडिंग किए जाने के आरोप को बताया निराधार
इधर, भारत के पूर्व मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त रह चुके एसवाई कुरैशी ने कहा है कि उनके समय देश में वोटिंग प्रतिशत बढ़ाने के लिए अमेरिकी एजेंसी की तरफ से फंडिंग किए जाने के आरोप पूरी तरह निराधार है। कुरैशी ने कहा कि, देश के एक मीडिया तबके में जो ये बात कही जा रही है कि जब मैं देश का मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त था, तब 2012 में भारतीय चुनाव आयोग और अमेरिकी एजेंसी के बीच वोटिंग प्रतिशत बढ़ाने के लिए किसी तरह का कोई फंडिंग से संबंधित करार हुआ, इस बारे में तनिक भी सच्चाई नहीं है। कुरैशी ने कहा कि वास्तव में 2012 में जब मैं सीईसी था, तब इंटरनेशनल फाउंडेशन फॉर इलेक्टोरल सिस्टम्स (आईएफईएस) के साथ एक समझौता हुआ था। इसका मकसद दूसरे देशों की चुनावी एजेंसियों और प्रबंधन निकायों को प्रशिक्षण देना था। इस समझौते में किसी भी तरह की फंडिंग का कोई वादा शामिल नहीं था। राशि तो भूल ही जाइए। 
बता दें कि एस वाई कुरैशी 30 जुलाई, 2010 से 10 जून, 2012 तक भारतीय चुनाव आयोग के मुखिया रहे थे।

अमेरिका से 119 प्रवासी भारतीयों को लेकर आ रहा एक और विमान, क्या फिर बेड़ियों-हथकड़ियों में होगी वापसी?

अमेरिका में रह रहे अवैध प्रवासियों को वापस भेजने का सिलसिला जारी है। डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के फैसले के तहत एक और अमेरिकी सैन्य परिवहन विमान सी-17 ग्लोबमास्टर-III 16 फरवरी को अमृतसर अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर उतरेगा। इसमें करीब 119 भारतीय नागरिक होंगे, जो अवैध तरीके से अमेरिका में रह रहे थे।यह डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के पिछले महीने अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति पद की शपथ लेने के बाद यहां से निर्वासित किया जाने वाला भारतीयों का दूसरा जत्था होगा। इससे पहले महीने की शुरुआत में 104 अवैध अप्रवासियों का एक बैच अमृतसर पहुंचा था। दूसरे जत्थे के निर्वासित लोगों में पंजाब से 67, हरियाणा से 33, गुजरात से आठ, उत्तर प्रदेश से तीन, राजस्थान-महाराष्ट्र से दो-दो और जम्मू-कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश से एक-एक व्यक्ति शामिल हैं। 

पीएम मोदी ने कहा-अवैध अप्रवासी को भारत स्वीकार करेगा
पीएम मोदी की दो दिवसीय यूएस यात्रा कल यानी शुक्रवार को ही संपन्न हुई है। एक ओर जहां पीएम मोदी अमेरिका से वापस भारत लौटने की तैयारी कर रहे थे, ठीक उसी वक्त ट्रंप प्रशासन अवैध प्रवासी भारतीयों की दूसरी खेप को डिपोर्ट करने की तैयारी में लगा था। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने अपने यूएस दौरे के दौरान ट्रंप के सामने साफ किया कि अमेरिका में रहने वाले अवैध अप्रवासी नागरिकों को भारत स्वीकार करेगा। यह केवल भारत का मुद्दा नहीं है। यह एक वैश्विक समस्या है। जो लोग अवैध तरीके से दूसरे देशों में रह रहे हैं, उन्हें वहां रहने का कोई कानूनी अधिकार नहीं है। हम अवैध अप्रवासी भारतीयों को वापस लेने के लिए तैयार हैं।

क्या दिखेगा पीएम मोदी के दौरे का असर?
डिपोर्टेशन पर संसद में मचे हल्ले के बाद भारत सरकार ने अमेरिकी अधिकारियों से इस मामले में बात की है। पीएम मोदी के यूएस दौरे पर भी इस मुद्दे को उठाया गया है। अब यह देखना दिलचस्प होगा कि ट्रंप प्रशासन इस मामले में क्या रुख अपनाता है? उम्मीद की जा रही है कि पीएम मोदी की ट्रंप से मुलाकात का असर इस डिपोर्टेशन पर दिख सकता है। यानी अवैध प्रवासी भारतीयों के हाथों में हथकड़ी और पैरों में बेड़ियां नहीं लगनी चाहिए। 

10 दिन पहले आया था पहला जत्था
अमेरिका से ऐसे अवैध प्रवासी भारतीयों का पहला जत्था 5 फरवरी को अमृतसर पहुंचा था। तब 104 लोगों को अमेरिकी सैन्य विमान में हथकड़ी और बेड़ियों से जकड़कर लाया गया था। इस पर सड़कों से लेकर संसद तक हंगामा भी मचा था। भारतीयों के प्रति इस तरह के अमानवीय व्यवहार की निंदा हुई थी। विपक्षी दलों ने मोदी सरकार की कूटनीति तक पर सवाल खड़े किए थे। विपक्षी दलों का कहना था कि अवैध प्रवासियों का डिपोर्टेशन पहले भी होता आया है लेकिन ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है कि इन्हें सैन्य विमान में अमानवीय परिस्थितियों में भेजा जाए। विपक्षी नेताओं की मांग थी कि मोदी सरकार को इस मामले में अमेरिका से बात करनी चाहिए।

 Khabar Kolkata sports Desk: Mohun Bagan Super Giant became the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 League Winners after their 1-0 victory against Odisha FC at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium, Kolkata yesterday. The Mariners successfully defended their title, first-ever team in ISL to do so, as they moved to 52 points after this triumph, gaining an unassailable lead over the second-placed FC Goa, who have bagged 42 points with three games to spare. The Jose Molina-coached team sealed this victory on the back of 16 victories and four draws, while recording their sixth consecutive clean sheet – the most ever done by a team in the competition.

भारत के चुनावों में अमेरिका ने दी दखल? मस्क ने रोकी फंडिंग, आरोप-प्रत्यारो शुरू

देश में वोटिंग बढ़ाने के लिए अमेरिका से फंडिंग के मुद्दे पर विवाद पैदा हो गया। दरअसल, अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प के सहयोगी इलॉन मस्क ने भारत के चुनाव में मतदाताओं की भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए दी जाने वाली 182 करोड़ रुपए की फंडिंग रद्द कर दी है। मस्क के नेतृत्व वाले डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ गवर्नमेंट एफिशिएंसी (डीओजीई) ने शनिवार को ये फैसला लिया।

एलन मस्क के नेतृत्व वाला सरकारी दक्षता विभाग (डीओजीई) लगातार यूनाइटेड स्टेट्स एजेंसी फॉर इंटरनेशनल डेवलपमेंट (यूएसएआईडी) यानी यूएसएड की पोल खोलने में जुटा है। सरकारी खर्च में कटौती में जुटे ट्रंप प्रशासन के निशाने पर यूएसएड है। दक्षता विभाग ने हाल ही में भारत समेत दुनियाभर के कई देशों को दी जाने वाली आर्थिक सहायता रोक दी है। 

डीओजीई ने एक लिस्ट जारी की है। इसमें डिपार्टमेंट की तरफ से 15 तरह के प्रोग्राम्स की फंडिंग रद्द की गई है। इसमें एक प्रोग्राम दुनियाभर में चुनाव प्रक्रिया को मजबूत बनाने के लिए भी है, जिसका फंड 4200 करोड़ रुपए है। इस फंड में भारत की हिस्सेदारी 182 करोड़ रुपए की है। दरअसल, अमेरिका भारतीय के चुनाव में मतदान प्रतिशत बढ़ाने की खातिर फंडिंग कर रहा था। अब सवाल यह उठ रहा है कि अमेरिका यह धन किसे देता था?

बीजेपी ने चुनाव में फंडिंग पर सवाल उठाए
बीजेपी आईटी सेल के प्रमुख अमित मालवीय ने दावा किया है कि इस फंड का इस्तेमाल भारतीय चुनाव को प्रभावित करने के लिए किया गया। उन्होंने कांग्रेस पार्टी और अमेरिकी बिजनेसमेन जॉर्ज सोरोस पर भारत में चुनाव प्रक्रिया में दखल देने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने एक्स पोस्ट में कहा- 21 मिलियन डॉलर (182 करोड़ रुपए) वोटर टर्नआउट बढ़ाने के लिए? यह साफ तौर पर देश की चुनावी प्रक्रिया में बाहरी दखल है। इस फंड से किसे फायदा होगा। जाहिर है इससे सत्ताधारी (बीजेपी) पार्टी को तो फायदा नहीं होगा। एक दूसरे पोस्ट में अमित मालवीय ने कांग्रेस पार्टी और जॉर्ज सोरोस पर भारतीय चुनाव में हस्तक्षेप का आरोप लगाया। मालवीय ने सोरोस को गांधी परिवार का जाना-माना सहयोगी बताया।

मालवीय ने एक्स पर लिखा कि 2012 में एसवाई कुरैशी के नेतृत्व में चुनाव आयोग ने इंटरनेशनल फाउंडेशन फॉर इलेक्टोरल सिस्टम्स (आईएफईएस) के साथ एक एमओयू साइन किया था। ये संस्था जॉर्ज सोरोस के ओपन सोसाइटी फाउंडेशन से जुड़ा है। इसे मुख्य तौर पर यूएसएआईडी से आर्थिक मदद मिलती है।

कुरैशी फंडिंग किए जाने के आरोप को बताया निराधार
इधर, भारत के पूर्व मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त रह चुके एसवाई कुरैशी ने कहा है कि उनके समय देश में वोटिंग प्रतिशत बढ़ाने के लिए अमेरिकी एजेंसी की तरफ से फंडिंग किए जाने के आरोप पूरी तरह निराधार है। कुरैशी ने कहा कि, देश के एक मीडिया तबके में जो ये बात कही जा रही है कि जब मैं देश का मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त था, तब 2012 में भारतीय चुनाव आयोग और अमेरिकी एजेंसी के बीच वोटिंग प्रतिशत बढ़ाने के लिए किसी तरह का कोई फंडिंग से संबंधित करार हुआ, इस बारे में तनिक भी सच्चाई नहीं है। कुरैशी ने कहा कि वास्तव में 2012 में जब मैं सीईसी था, तब इंटरनेशनल फाउंडेशन फॉर इलेक्टोरल सिस्टम्स (आईएफईएस) के साथ एक समझौता हुआ था। इसका मकसद दूसरे देशों की चुनावी एजेंसियों और प्रबंधन निकायों को प्रशिक्षण देना था। इस समझौते में किसी भी तरह की फंडिंग का कोई वादा शामिल नहीं था। राशि तो भूल ही जाइए। 
बता दें कि एस वाई कुरैशी 30 जुलाई, 2010 से 10 जून, 2012 तक भारतीय चुनाव आयोग के मुखिया रहे थे।

अमेरिका से 119 प्रवासी भारतीयों को लेकर आ रहा एक और विमान, क्या फिर बेड़ियों-हथकड़ियों में होगी वापसी?

अमेरिका में रह रहे अवैध प्रवासियों को वापस भेजने का सिलसिला जारी है। डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के फैसले के तहत एक और अमेरिकी सैन्य परिवहन विमान सी-17 ग्लोबमास्टर-III 16 फरवरी को अमृतसर अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर उतरेगा। इसमें करीब 119 भारतीय नागरिक होंगे, जो अवैध तरीके से अमेरिका में रह रहे थे।यह डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के पिछले महीने अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति पद की शपथ लेने के बाद यहां से निर्वासित किया जाने वाला भारतीयों का दूसरा जत्था होगा। इससे पहले महीने की शुरुआत में 104 अवैध अप्रवासियों का एक बैच अमृतसर पहुंचा था। दूसरे जत्थे के निर्वासित लोगों में पंजाब से 67, हरियाणा से 33, गुजरात से आठ, उत्तर प्रदेश से तीन, राजस्थान-महाराष्ट्र से दो-दो और जम्मू-कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश से एक-एक व्यक्ति शामिल हैं। 

पीएम मोदी ने कहा-अवैध अप्रवासी को भारत स्वीकार करेगा
पीएम मोदी की दो दिवसीय यूएस यात्रा कल यानी शुक्रवार को ही संपन्न हुई है। एक ओर जहां पीएम मोदी अमेरिका से वापस भारत लौटने की तैयारी कर रहे थे, ठीक उसी वक्त ट्रंप प्रशासन अवैध प्रवासी भारतीयों की दूसरी खेप को डिपोर्ट करने की तैयारी में लगा था। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने अपने यूएस दौरे के दौरान ट्रंप के सामने साफ किया कि अमेरिका में रहने वाले अवैध अप्रवासी नागरिकों को भारत स्वीकार करेगा। यह केवल भारत का मुद्दा नहीं है। यह एक वैश्विक समस्या है। जो लोग अवैध तरीके से दूसरे देशों में रह रहे हैं, उन्हें वहां रहने का कोई कानूनी अधिकार नहीं है। हम अवैध अप्रवासी भारतीयों को वापस लेने के लिए तैयार हैं।

क्या दिखेगा पीएम मोदी के दौरे का असर?
डिपोर्टेशन पर संसद में मचे हल्ले के बाद भारत सरकार ने अमेरिकी अधिकारियों से इस मामले में बात की है। पीएम मोदी के यूएस दौरे पर भी इस मुद्दे को उठाया गया है। अब यह देखना दिलचस्प होगा कि ट्रंप प्रशासन इस मामले में क्या रुख अपनाता है? उम्मीद की जा रही है कि पीएम मोदी की ट्रंप से मुलाकात का असर इस डिपोर्टेशन पर दिख सकता है। यानी अवैध प्रवासी भारतीयों के हाथों में हथकड़ी और पैरों में बेड़ियां नहीं लगनी चाहिए। 

10 दिन पहले आया था पहला जत्था
अमेरिका से ऐसे अवैध प्रवासी भारतीयों का पहला जत्था 5 फरवरी को अमृतसर पहुंचा था। तब 104 लोगों को अमेरिकी सैन्य विमान में हथकड़ी और बेड़ियों से जकड़कर लाया गया था। इस पर सड़कों से लेकर संसद तक हंगामा भी मचा था। भारतीयों के प्रति इस तरह के अमानवीय व्यवहार की निंदा हुई थी। विपक्षी दलों ने मोदी सरकार की कूटनीति तक पर सवाल खड़े किए थे। विपक्षी दलों का कहना था कि अवैध प्रवासियों का डिपोर्टेशन पहले भी होता आया है लेकिन ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है कि इन्हें सैन्य विमान में अमानवीय परिस्थितियों में भेजा जाए। विपक्षी नेताओं की मांग थी कि मोदी सरकार को इस मामले में अमेरिका से बात करनी चाहिए।
