এসবি নিউজ ব্যুরো: দক্ষিণবঙ্গে এখনও তাপপ্রবাহ অব্যাহত।অথচ বর্ষায় বিপর্যস্ত উত্তরবঙ্গ।উত্তরবঙ্গের প্রত্যেক জেলায় বিক্ষিপ্তভাবে বৃষ্টি শুরু হয়েছে।এই বৃষ্টির প্রভাব সব থেকে বেশি সিকিমে। গত ৩ দিন ধরে একটানা বৃষ্টি শুরু হয়েছে সিকিমে। যার জেরে একেবারে বিপর্যস্ত সিকিম। ইতিমধ্যেই সিকিমের লাইফ লাইন ১০ নম্বর জাতীয় সড়ক বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এছাড়াও লাচুং, চুকথানে আটকে পড়েছেন প্রায় ১৫০০ পর্যটক। যদিও পর্যটকদের উদ্ধার কাজ শুরু করেছে প্রসাশন। অপরদিকে বৃষ্টির কারণে তিস্তার জল বাড়ছে। সিকিমে প্রবল বৃষ্টির জেরে বিপদসীমার উপর দিয়ে বইছে তিস্তা। গত বছর তিস্তার সেই ভয়ংকর দৃশ্য দেখেছিল তিস্তা এলাকার বাসিন্দারা। ঠিক যেন সেই ভয়ংকর কথা মনে পড়ে যাচ্ছে তিস্তা পাড়ের বাসিন্দাদের। যদিও ইতিমধ্যে তিস্তাপারের বাসিন্দাদের নিরাপদ স্থানে সরিয়ে নিয়ে গিয়েছে প্রশাসন। অন্যদিকে, ধসে উদ্ধার কাজে বাধা হয়ে দাঁড়াচ্ছে বৃষ্টি। তবে জোর কদমে চলছে সিকিমে ধস সড়ানোর কাজ। সিকিমের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী প্রেম সিং তামাং দুর্গতদের সব রকমের সাহায্য আশ্বাস দিয়েছেন। ইতিমধ্যে যেসব জায়গা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে সেখানে উদ্ধারকাজ শুরু হয়েছে। উদ্ধার কাজে প্রশাসনিক কর্মীদের সাহায্য করছেন স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারাও। সংকলন সেতু ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হওয়ায় ওই পর্যটকদের কিভাবে গ্যাংটক এ ফিরিয়ে আনা হবে তা মাথা ব্যথার কারণ হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে প্রশাসনের।
