প্রথা অনুযায়ী প্রথমে রাজপরিবারে সদস্যরা অঞ্জলি দেওয়ার পরেই জনসাধারণের জন্য অঞ্জলি শুরু হয়ে যাবে বলে পুরোহিত মহাশয় জানালেন। দর্শনার্থীদের পাশাপাশি বহু পর্যটকট জলপাইগুড়ি বেকুন্তপুর রাজবাড়ীতে অষ্টমীতে রাজবাড়ীতে অঞ্জলি দিতে ও রাজবাড়ীর পুজো দেখতে আসেন। রাজ পরিবারের নিয়ম অনুযায়ী এখানে মাকে আমিষ ভোগ দেওয়া হয়।

*অষ্টমীর দিন কেমন থাকবে আবহাওয়া?*



আজ মহা অষ্টমী। গোটা বঙ্গ এখন মেতে দুর্গাপুজোর আনন্দে। এমন আবহে মন খারাপ করে দেওয়া খবর শোনাচ্ছে হাওয়া অফিস। হাওয়া অফিসের পূর্বাভাস অনুযায়ী, বঙ্গোপসাগরের নিম্নচাপ ধেয়ে আসবে সুন্দরবনের উপকূলে। তাই দুর্যোগের আশঙ্কা তৈরি হচ্ছে পুজোর শেষ লগ্নে। দুর্যোগের ফলে মৎস্যজীবীদের দশমী থেকে দুই দিন সমুদ্রে মাছ ধরতে যেতে নিষেধ করা হয়েছে।



পুজোর শুরুতে রোদ ঝলমলে আকাশ থাকলেও, শেষ লগ্নে অসুর হতে পারে নিম্নচাপ। বঙ্গোপসাগরের সৃষ্ট গভীর নিম্নচাপ রিকার্ভ করবে অন্ধ্র-ওড়িশা উপকূলে এসে। উপকূল বরাবর এই নিম্নচাপ অগ্রসর হতে পারে উত্তর বঙ্গোপসাগরের দিকে।

উত্তর-পশ্চিমের শীতল হাওয়ার প্রভাব অষ্টমীর দিন পর্যন্ত রাজ্যে বজায় থাকবে।আপাতত পরিষ্কার আকাশের সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। বৃষ্টির সম্ভাবনাও নেই। তবে বঙ্গোপসাগরে সৃষ্ট নিম্নচাপের ফলে আবহাওয়ার পরিবর্তন ঘটতে শুরু করবে সোমবার থেকে। উপকূলের জেলায় মেঘলা আকাশ ও হালকা বৃষ্টির সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে সোমবার। আজ রাজ্যের সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা থাকবে ৩০.১ ডিগ্রী সেলসিয়াস এবং সর্বনিম্ন তাপমাত্রা থাকবে ২৫.৭ ডিগ্রী সেলসিয়াস।
