बिहार में पूर्णिया की अमौर सीट अचानक से हाई प्रोफाइल सीट बन गई है। इसकी वजह बनें हैं, राज्यसभा के पूर्व सदस्य साबिर अली। बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव के बीच जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) ने शनिवार को एक बड़ा राजनीतिक कदम उठाते हुए राज्यसभा के पूर्व सदस्य साबिर अली को अमौर विधानसभा सीट से अपना उम्मीदवार घोषित कर दिया। दिलचस्प बात यह है कि यही साबिर अली वर्ष 2014 में प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की प्रशंसा करने पर पार्टी से निष्कासित कर दिए गए थे।

  


आखिरी समय में जेडीयू का बड़ा फैसला
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की प्रशंसा करने पर 11 वर्ष पहले जनता दल यूनाइटेड (जद(यू)) से निष्कासित किए गए राज्यसभा के पूर्व सदस्य साबिर अली की फिर से पार्टी में वापसी हो गई है। साबिर अली को पार्टी ने शनिवार को अमौर विधानसभा सीट से अपना उम्मीदवार घोषित किया। जेडीयू ने आखिरी समय में बड़ा फैसला लेते हुए पूर्णिया की अमौर सीट पर कैंडिडेट बदल दिया। पूर्णिया की अमौर सीट से पार्टी ने नामांकन की अंतिम तारीख से ठीक एक दिन पहले अपने घोषित प्रत्याशी सबा ज़फर का टिकट काट दिया है। जेडीयू ने अमौर से अपना प्रत्याशी बदल दिया। 

नीतीश कुमार के बेहद करीबी रहे साबिर
कभी नीतीश कुमार के बेहद करीबी माने जाने वाले, राज्यसभा में जेडीयू का चेहरा रहे साबिर अली आज फिर उसी पार्टी में लौट आए हैं, जहां से उन्होंने सियासत की शुरुआत की थी। राजनीति में उनका आगमन 2000 के दशक में हुआ और नीतीश कुमार के नेतृत्व से प्रभावित होकर उन्होंने जेडीयू जॉइन की। 

2008 में जेडीयू से पहुंचे राज्यसभा
जेडीयू ने उनकी मेहनत और प्रभाव को देखा और 2008 में उन्हें राज्यसभा भेजा गया। वहां वे 2008 से 2014 तक जेडीयू के चेहरे बने रहे। राज्यसभा में जेडीयू की आवाज बनकर उन्होंने पार्टी के मुद्दों को मजबूती से उठाया। साबिर अली मुस्लिम समुदाय में लोकप्रिय थे। सीमांचल और पूर्वी चंपारण में उनकी अच्छी पकड़ थी। लोग उन्हें एक मेहनती और प्रभावशाली नेता के रूप में जानने लगे। लेकिन, साबिर अली के चढ़ाव के बाद उतार का दौर भी आया।

पीएम मोदी की तारीफ के बाद सियासी पतन
बिहार के पूर्वी चंपारण में जन्मे साबिर अली को 2014 में ही पीएम मोदी की तारीफ करने के चलते जदयू ने उन्हें पार्टी से निकाल दिया। जेडीयू से निकाले जाने के बाद वे लोक जनशक्ति पार्टी (लोजपा) में चले गए और फिर वहां से भाजपा की ओर रुख किया। लेकिन उन पर लगे पुराने दाग साबिर अली पर भारी पड़े और फिर उन्हें बीजेपी ने भी कोई बड़ी जिम्मेदारी नहीं दी। दरअसल, कुछ भाजपा नेताओं ने सार्वजनिक रूप से उनके बयानबाज़ी पर सवाल उठाए। कुछ रिपोर्ट्स में कहा गया कि उन्हें इंडियन मुजाहिदीन के यासीन भटकल से जोड़ने के आरोप लगे। 2014 में ही भाजपा उनकी एंट्री रोक दी गई। इन घटनाओं ने साबिर अली को सियासत के निचले पायदान पर ला दिया और वे कुछ समय के लिए गुमनामी में चले गए।

When Alumni Became Chief Guests: RV, Harmeet, and Inderjit Return to Nazrana 2025
Guru Nanak Khalsa College hosted the grand spectacle of Nazrana 2025, an evening brimming with creativity, glamour, and cultural pride. The much-anticipated fashion show was the centerpiece of the event, captivating the audience with its stunning sequences and impeccable execution.

The judging panel evoked waves of nostalgia as Rajveer Singh (RV), Harmeet Singh Gupta, and Inderjit Singh, all proud alumni of the college, returned to grace the occasion. Rajveer, a celebrated influencer, branding expert, and winner of 13 prestigious awards, inspired the audience with his charisma and expertise. Joining him in the judging panel was Tamanna Bharat, an international beauty queen, crowned Miss Asia Global 2024, Miss Queen of India Runner-Up 2024, and Miss Navi Mumbai 2024. Their insightful commentary and radiant presence added a touch of stardom to the evening.

Comic Street – An exciting new initiative by TVAGA and ICA at Indiajoy
The Comic Street Awards 2024 debuted at the prestigious India Joy Digital Entertainment Festival at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC). A collaboration between the Telangana VFX, Animation, and Gaming Association (TVAGA) and the Indian Comics Association (ICA), the awards celebrated exceptional talent in the Indian comics industry, marking a new chapter in the legacy of India Joy. The awards were presented by former beauty queen and Bollywood actress Ruhi Singh, whose presence added a touch of glamour and star power to the event. In recognition of her contributions to the creative industry, Himanshu Singhal, PR & Industry Head of ICA, presented a memento to Ruhi Singh.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the legendary cartoonist Abid Surti for his immense contributions to the Indian comics landscape. A true pioneer, Abid Surti is the creative genius behind Bahadur, India’s first-ever superhero, and has significantly shaped the Indian comics industry.
The ICA proudly hosted a panel discussion at Comic Street featuring prominent figures such as Sanjay Gupta (Raj Comics by Sanjay Gupta), Preeti Vyas (Amar Chitra Katha), Ajay Krishna (Forbidden Verse), and Ajitesh Sharma (Cinemics). The panel delved into various aspects of storytelling, industry evolution, and comic industry opportunities, offering invaluable insights and fostering engaging discussions among industry pioneers and enthusiasts.
Ajitesh Sharma, president of ICA, interacted with Prashant Varma, the visionary director of the highly acclaimed movie Hanu-Man, on Comics IP & Cinema. Ajay Krishna, Executive Member of ICA, presented a special memento to Prashant Varma, acknowledging his remarkable contributions to storytelling, creativity, and the growing universe of Indian superheroes.
Adding to the event's excitement, two new comic titles were launched: Chandrakanta, an Indian epic adapted into Comics by Cinemics, and Soul Contract, an Indian manga by Cosmics. These latest releases generated a buzz and showcased the vibrant creativity and innovation within the Indian comics industry.
 
An ICA Pavilion exhibiting Indian Comics was set up at Comics Street, and Ravi Tanwer, Anadi Abhilash, Mohamad Shabaz, Himanshu Singhal, Vasu Gupta, Saahil Sharma, Varun Malhotra, and Neelesh Makwane from ICA led the initiative. Moreover, ICA promoted the upcoming Comics Creator Championship, set to take place during Waves 2025, further engaging the community and encouraging creators to showcase their talent in this Create in India Challenge.
The event underscores India Joy’s commitment to fostering a thriving ecosystem for the AVGC sector. Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao highlighted that the festival embodies the state’s vision to position Hyderabad as a global hub, attracting more than 25,000 attendees globally and showcasing India's potential as a global media and entertainment industry leader.

बिहार में पूर्णिया की अमौर सीट अचानक से हाई प्रोफाइल सीट बन गई है। इसकी वजह बनें हैं, राज्यसभा के पूर्व सदस्य साबिर अली। बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव के बीच जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) ने शनिवार को एक बड़ा राजनीतिक कदम उठाते हुए राज्यसभा के पूर्व सदस्य साबिर अली को अमौर विधानसभा सीट से अपना उम्मीदवार घोषित कर दिया। दिलचस्प बात यह है कि यही साबिर अली वर्ष 2014 में प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की प्रशंसा करने पर पार्टी से निष्कासित कर दिए गए थे।

  


आखिरी समय में जेडीयू का बड़ा फैसला
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की प्रशंसा करने पर 11 वर्ष पहले जनता दल यूनाइटेड (जद(यू)) से निष्कासित किए गए राज्यसभा के पूर्व सदस्य साबिर अली की फिर से पार्टी में वापसी हो गई है। साबिर अली को पार्टी ने शनिवार को अमौर विधानसभा सीट से अपना उम्मीदवार घोषित किया। जेडीयू ने आखिरी समय में बड़ा फैसला लेते हुए पूर्णिया की अमौर सीट पर कैंडिडेट बदल दिया। पूर्णिया की अमौर सीट से पार्टी ने नामांकन की अंतिम तारीख से ठीक एक दिन पहले अपने घोषित प्रत्याशी सबा ज़फर का टिकट काट दिया है। जेडीयू ने अमौर से अपना प्रत्याशी बदल दिया। 

नीतीश कुमार के बेहद करीबी रहे साबिर
कभी नीतीश कुमार के बेहद करीबी माने जाने वाले, राज्यसभा में जेडीयू का चेहरा रहे साबिर अली आज फिर उसी पार्टी में लौट आए हैं, जहां से उन्होंने सियासत की शुरुआत की थी। राजनीति में उनका आगमन 2000 के दशक में हुआ और नीतीश कुमार के नेतृत्व से प्रभावित होकर उन्होंने जेडीयू जॉइन की। 

2008 में जेडीयू से पहुंचे राज्यसभा
जेडीयू ने उनकी मेहनत और प्रभाव को देखा और 2008 में उन्हें राज्यसभा भेजा गया। वहां वे 2008 से 2014 तक जेडीयू के चेहरे बने रहे। राज्यसभा में जेडीयू की आवाज बनकर उन्होंने पार्टी के मुद्दों को मजबूती से उठाया। साबिर अली मुस्लिम समुदाय में लोकप्रिय थे। सीमांचल और पूर्वी चंपारण में उनकी अच्छी पकड़ थी। लोग उन्हें एक मेहनती और प्रभावशाली नेता के रूप में जानने लगे। लेकिन, साबिर अली के चढ़ाव के बाद उतार का दौर भी आया।

पीएम मोदी की तारीफ के बाद सियासी पतन
बिहार के पूर्वी चंपारण में जन्मे साबिर अली को 2014 में ही पीएम मोदी की तारीफ करने के चलते जदयू ने उन्हें पार्टी से निकाल दिया। जेडीयू से निकाले जाने के बाद वे लोक जनशक्ति पार्टी (लोजपा) में चले गए और फिर वहां से भाजपा की ओर रुख किया। लेकिन उन पर लगे पुराने दाग साबिर अली पर भारी पड़े और फिर उन्हें बीजेपी ने भी कोई बड़ी जिम्मेदारी नहीं दी। दरअसल, कुछ भाजपा नेताओं ने सार्वजनिक रूप से उनके बयानबाज़ी पर सवाल उठाए। कुछ रिपोर्ट्स में कहा गया कि उन्हें इंडियन मुजाहिदीन के यासीन भटकल से जोड़ने के आरोप लगे। 2014 में ही भाजपा उनकी एंट्री रोक दी गई। इन घटनाओं ने साबिर अली को सियासत के निचले पायदान पर ला दिया और वे कुछ समय के लिए गुमनामी में चले गए।

Guru Nanak Khalsa College hosted the grand spectacle of Nazrana 2025, an evening brimming with creativity, glamour, and cultural pride. The much-anticipated fashion show was the centerpiece of the event, captivating the audience with its stunning sequences and impeccable execution.

The judging panel evoked waves of nostalgia as Rajveer Singh (RV), Harmeet Singh Gupta, and Inderjit Singh, all proud alumni of the college, returned to grace the occasion. Rajveer, a celebrated influencer, branding expert, and winner of 13 prestigious awards, inspired the audience with his charisma and expertise. Joining him in the judging panel was Tamanna Bharat, an international beauty queen, crowned Miss Asia Global 2024, Miss Queen of India Runner-Up 2024, and Miss Navi Mumbai 2024. Comic Street – An exciting new initiative by TVAGA and ICA at Indiajoy
The Comic Street Awards 2024 debuted at the prestigious India Joy Digital Entertainment Festival at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC). A collaboration between the Telangana VFX, Animation, and Gaming Association (TVAGA) and the Indian Comics Association (ICA), the awards celebrated exceptional talent in the Indian comics industry, marking a new chapter in the legacy of India Joy. The awards were presented by former beauty queen and Bollywood actress Ruhi Singh, whose presence added a touch of glamour and star power to the event. In recognition of her contributions to the creative industry, Himanshu Singhal, PR & Industry Head of ICA, presented a memento to Ruhi Singh.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the legendary cartoonist Abid Surti for his immense contributions to the Indian comics landscape. A true pioneer, Abid Surti is the creative genius behind Bahadur, India’s first-ever superhero, and has significantly shaped the Indian comics industry.
The ICA proudly hosted a panel discussion at Comic Street featuring prominent figures such as Sanjay Gupta (Raj Comics by Sanjay Gupta), Preeti Vyas (Amar Chitra Katha), Ajay Krishna (Forbidden Verse), and Ajitesh Sharma (Cinemics). The panel delved into various aspects of storytelling, industry evolution, and comic industry opportunities, offering invaluable insights and fostering engaging discussions among industry pioneers and enthusiasts.
Ajitesh Sharma, president of ICA, interacted with Prashant Varma, the visionary director of the highly acclaimed movie Hanu-Man, on Comics IP & Cinema. Ajay Krishna, Executive Member of ICA, presented a special memento to Prashant Varma, acknowledging his remarkable contributions to storytelling, creativity, and the growing universe of Indian superheroes.
Adding to the event's excitement, two new comic titles were launched: Chandrakanta, an Indian epic adapted into Comics by Cinemics, and Soul Contract, an Indian manga by Cosmics. These latest releases generated a buzz and showcased the vibrant creativity and innovation within the Indian comics industry.
 
An ICA Pavilion exhibiting Indian Comics was set up at Comics Street, and Ravi Tanwer, Anadi Abhilash, Mohamad Shabaz, Himanshu Singhal, Vasu Gupta, Saahil Sharma, Varun Malhotra, and Neelesh Makwane from ICA led the initiative. Moreover, ICA promoted the upcoming Comics Creator Championship, set to take place during Waves 2025, further engaging the community and encouraging creators to showcase their talent in this Create in India Challenge.
The event underscores India Joy’s commitment to fostering a thriving ecosystem for the AVGC sector.
