   "डॉक्ट्रेट की मानद् उपाधि" मिलने पर डॉ.राही ने कहा कि निस्संदेह मैं इस सम्मान से अभिभूत हूँ क्यूंकि यह सम्मान मेरा ही नहीं बल्कि पूरे साहित्य-समाज का है इसलिए मैं इसे सच्चे कलमकारों, तमाम चाहने वालों सहित अपने साहित्यिक गुरु "पद्मभूषण डॉ.गोपालदास नीरज" व अपनी प्रथम-कलम साहित्यकार एवं कवि "पिता श्रद्धेय अमरसिंह राही" को समर्पित करता हूँ। वाकई इस सम्मान में बहुत वजन हैं इसे पाकर मेरी साहित्यिक और सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी और ज्यादा बढ़ गई है।
